k. “. l.Bedrooms were nice and clean, very dated but it was a nice change to all the modern hotels I've stayed in. Only cons are that the pool is just a basic pool. For the price we payed (€250) I was hoping for a bit more of a nicer pool.
We ate in the bar/restaurant and had drinks both lovely. Photo is of the downstairs bathroom at the breakfast restaurant
M. C.Rooms had everyone including a magnified mirror in bathroom. Food delicious and Great variety on menu. Staff excellent. However and this is serious. We were unable to have a shower. Problem with the water. Was informed by staff it was because of Kerry Water Co. Would have thought a hotel would have independent water supply. Did not get any satisfaction again when we mentioned it when we were paying. Felt it would be a major factor if one was to consider recommendation.
n. h.Very well managed all round. Covid procedures very well implemented every where. Best I had seen on a week travelling around. Staff everywhere were so so helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Breakfast gorgeous. Catered very well for coeliacs and even had gluten free beer. The room was spotless very comfy bed and the place was just fab.
P. L.We're just home after a few nights in Tralee, where we stayed at the Brandon. Our room was perfect, the food was brilliant and our teenager loved the pool. Do you want to know the best thing about your hotel? Your staff. They are exceptional, friendly, welcoming and you should be so proud of them. I'm looking forward to going back already. Thank you for a lovely few nights.

M.Very nice hotel, and helpful staff it's location and car park cannot be faulted, however for such a nice hotel the breakfast really was a let down, little or no vegetarian options for breakfast or bar food. I asked for a portion of vegetarian sausages and was given just one with half a cold tomato. With so many people opting for a meat free meals this hotel would do well to cater for them. Also, no USB for charging laptops or phones, had to buy an adapter. It's the little things that make a big difference ☺️
P. T.Stayed in the hotel for a family break while we explored the west coast. The decor of the hotel is dated, but it was very clean. Location is spot on for the town centre. The pool was great for the kids and the bar was great for me. Food was good, but the staff made it. Very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

F. H.Correcting previous rating which was a mistake. Evening meals for the group were not that great and there was little or no choice. On the 2nd evening a 3 course meal was served in 35 minutes flat. Personally I would have preferred to eat at a more leisurely pace. I was on holiday after all.
F. H.Just returned from a lovely stay here last week. The location is excellent and central to everything you could need. The room was lovely and spacious especially as I was travelling with older children/teenagers. The food was delicious and all the staff were exceptional which really made our holiday special. Special mention of Nora and Noreen who really took care of us. The swimming pool was a highlight and the leisure centre staff are all lovely and really accomodating. An absolute must if you are visiting Tralee. Cannot wait to return again soon.

They upgrade our room in no time, bookings for breakfast, dinner and leisure centre were taken promptly. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful and restaurant for dinner is amazing! Food is really great and again, staff is amazing! Eventually we extend our stay here :) :)

L. O.We provoked for dinner in the bar. Temperature checked at reception & at the bar entrance. Plenty of hand sanitizer & full covid precautions. Limited menu but perfectly adequate. Excellent service; our waiter Nathan was cheerful, chatty & obliging. Nothing was a problem. We were thrilled to be out & everything was done to make our evening enjoyable & reassuring. It's not fine dining, but doesn't claim to be. Shared starter of tempura prawns, very good, nicely presented. My steak ciabatta was tender, medium rare as requested, plenty of onions & mushrooms, good fries, generous portions. We were very happy with the experience, I recommend it.

You should, though, do something about the keypad at your car park exit. It defeats the purpose of contactless if you have to key in the code. Maybe a card swipe that can then be put in a return container for reuse or something. Just saying:-)

m. f.So central to town. Food very good and staff are so friendly. Hotel is very clean. Decor a little dated dark furniture in the room. But that didn't bother me as room is large and plenty of storage. a shower to die for and a bath if you wanted. Plenty of parking. So all in all I love it.

M. C.Booked in for the rose of Tralee. The staff were very friendly we were made feel very welcome.Atmosphere in the bar was just brilliant from the food to the trad session of music. Rooms were Very clean and had everything you needed in them. Would highly recommend it whether it be a business trip or that family break away.It caters for everyone young and old. D. E.Attended an event for the Kerry Hospital and the hall used was big enough to contain over 300 people, the air system was good. There were no concerns with sounds and lightening was great (now I don't know if the sound system and lightening were of the hotel). I'm looking forward to having lunch sometime there, but what I saw so far of the hotel was lovely and there is a public car park across from the hotel (again don't recall if the hotel had it's own parking, maybe underground) but I used the public car park
M. M.Staff are the key here... A now older type hotel that reserves its charm. I have to say we felt so at home here. From the staff in kitchen to the bar.. All very well tutored in how to be properly nice to people. We also had lunch in the bar which was very tasty.

Breakfast was very very disappointing... The choices were cereal, prunes, grapefruit, a banana or a fry.... 🙄 No fresh fruit or pastries 🥧 on offer... 😔 Noreen in the dining room is a lovely lady very welcoming an friendly without being patronising.
E. H.Quite nice hotel with good gym and swimming pool facilities. The hotel is a little stark in the reception area only 2 sofas. I think they want you to go into the bar and spend money. The food choice was a little limited but well cooked. No complaints about the staff.

A. R.Visited the cafe/restaurant for breakfast and the famous scones: I was not disappointed. The scones are very good, and I especially appreciated the ones with fruit, although one can get plain scones as well. A recommended stop after a morning run/walk in the nearby park to recharge and enjoy a cup of tea.
A. O.Location great almost in town centre. Room nice with lovely bathroom. Parking fantastic. Disappointed with breakfast, thought it was nice but basic, no extra trimmings such as fruit salad or croissants. The basic full irish was served with brown bread or toast. With tea /coffee.

B. M.Was once grand but the rooms are now tired and dated. Saggy mattresses and curtains that don't quite meet in the middle is just the start. Perfect location for visiting tralee and fairly central.
Staff are very friendly and breakfast is decent.
M. k.We were a group of seven requiring three rooms, chancing our arms at very late notice during Rose of Tralee week. We phoned the Brandon at 6:pm asking for three rooms for that night. The lady (Sheena) took our details and from that point onwards could not have possibly facilitated us more. The Rooms were fabulous, the kids really enjoyed the yoga classes in the pool, the bar was very comfortable with all sports channels available, the lager was cold (a great pint) and the bar staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful. The food at the Brandon was gorgeous both breakfast and evening meal. The evening meal had an extensive menu served quickly and was very tasty.
I very seldom take the time to review hotels but because myself and my family enjoyed the few nights at the Brandon Hotel so much I would like very much to recommend the Brandon Hotel.

When ordering food a few mistakes were made with wrong food and in one case no food BUT the way it was handled and corrected was exceptional so apart from what appeared to be poor communication or poor training of new staff I have no hesitation giving 5 stars. Will stay here again if working in the area.

S.I was lucky enough to stay in the brandon Tralee for 1 night we were on the 5 th floor so had a beautiful view of the mountains siamsa tire and other parts of tralee room very clean and comfortable I had full use of all the facilities swimming pool and gym we also had a great meal in the bar the hunters chicken to die for and we had a lovely breakfast this morning the staff were so nice and helpful they make you feel so welcome also private car park and you are only 5 minutes walk to the centre of Tralee could not be better also say Celtic steps and the o neill sisters outstanding as always.

It's not ultra modern..in fact it's a bit dated.( or traditional! .but if you don't mind using a key lock ..it's a lovely place to stay..the staff are super friendly ..there's a decent leisure centre..and the food is really good..there's a nice lounge area ..

S. K.(Translated) The rooms were in good condition, nice furniture, bathroom was okay. Unfortunately, the rooms were a bit small and the beds as soft as the Watt North Germany. :) Breakfast was as crowded as Majorca with a small battle for the cold buffet. Okay for one night, that's all there is to it.
