If you are thinking about taking up a hobby, come here for some fabulous inspiration. It has everything you could possibly want and more. We drove to Dublin, parked in town, put on Google maps and walked the rest of the way, we would never have found it otherwise, though it seems quite close to Penneys on Mary Street. I had been here before getting copic markers for my daughter so she was very excited about visiting, but got completely overwhelmed with the amount of art supplies that she chose very little! We will definitely return. The staff are lovely, very helpful, art students themselves so were chatting to my daughter about different colours etc. The shop was quite busy, you wouldn't accidentally walk past it on the street, so everyone there deliberately wanted to be there, which is brilliant.

The biggest selection of art supplies in any store I've come across in Dublin before, and in a very accessible location - it is down a little bit of an alley so you need to keep an eye out for it. Staff are also very nice and helpful.

Probably the best equipped art supply store in Ireland. From beginners to professionals you can find everything here for your artistic needs if you are a painter(oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels,oil bars, brushes, paint mediums, surfaces etc.). There is a good selection of decorations too. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. And I like their artist discount.

What a great place! We visited twice while in Dublin. The staff was so helpful. Engaged in conversation! I didn’t feel rushed at all. They have a great selection of Copic Markers etc which is what I specifically went looking for. The parking situation is a little confusing. We just walked the second time we visited. It’s kind of hidden down a tiny street so if you have never been follow a map.

Use their click and collect, but be aware their checkout facility is only open for a very short time weekdays. Service is prompt and efficient. Just having read a review left this morning by a customer, I feel I must write that I have had nothing but good experience dealing with Evans during these unprecedented times. Not wanting to venture out but needing urgent supplies last Saturday and no deliveries on Saturdays, I ordered online and choose click and collect, rang ahead to the shop and explained my situation that I was uneasy actually going into the shop but I was assured my order would be ready for collection and to ring when outside in my car, which I did and a member of the staff came out and put it into my car...I certainly was looked after and will continue to support the Evans Shop.

Really impressed with the service I got from Evans this week. Its my second time ordering a stretched canvass from them. Even though the packaging was really strong once Id unpacked it a couple of days later I noticed one of the stretching things (dont know the technical lingo) was out of place & stretching and marking the canvass. I know they say I should inspect the board when received by courier but TBH it did look ok & was only later when the mark was more pronounced did I notice it. I called & was asked to send in some pics which I did. Within the hour they had been in touch (both by phone & email) to let me know a replacement was being sent out. No quibbles or fuss. I really appreciate the service & would highly recommend.

Jam-packed with stock. Not very easy to find as it's up at the end of an oddly derelict-looking side-lane, though it does have an overhead sign but even this says k&m evans and does not clearly mention art supplies. ALso Google maps seems to mis-locate the turn from Capel St,. Look for Bike To Work shop and the side-lane is 50m or so to the West of that.
