Amazing pizza. Didn’t expect it to be this nice because it a pizza chain. I thought it would be some mediocre pizza, but what I’ve got is amazing. The one I ordered is the Calabrese; which is Nduja, Burrata, rocket, pesto, peppers, and permesan. Would definitely come back again

I went for a late lunch/early dinner (4-ish) yesterday. I like Milano as they have consistency in their food quality and taste, always the same good standard. And, as always, food was good as it was the service. Taking two stars out as 2 of the kitchen staff had the mask below the nose. I was sitting just in front of the kitchen (open area) and at some point one of them fully took it off for a few minutes. I'll think it twice before coming back again anytime soon.

The pizza here does not seem very traditional but that won't stop you from enjoying it. They had a special offer where you could get a starter with a main for only (if I remember correctly) ~15€ which is great value! This place seems to serve food all day so if you're hungry at an awkward hour and like Italian give this place a try.

Never been in Milano's in Cork before and surely won't come back . First negative - staff could do better with customer service, tge feeling i had inside that they totally don't bother about clients only do tgeir basic job and always in rush, place wasnt busy at all. Second - main courses are way to expensive for what you get, portions are small. Risotto was nice , but small and covered with plain salad. Lasagna : hmm, probably 10 gr of meat covered with planty sauce. The only person who enjoyed, was my son . Kids menu not bad for the value. Verdict: this place will be the last on our visits in cork, plenty more to discover!

This family meal out for pizza was a bit of a mixed bag... First up the positives: we were promptly seated to a comfortable area on the back wall. We all ordered pizza with a good selection for the kids and adults (mix of requirements). My "Calabrese" pizza was a bit of gamble but I was pleasantly surprised (it's super spicy mind). 2 negatives from our visit: the 250ml wine is served as a full glass of wine as opposed to being in a carafe. The wine suffers as a result and I was somewhat disappointed with the choice. The second was my Calamari starter which came out overcooked (any longer on the grill and they would have been burnt). Will probably be back for pizza (exceeded my expectations for a chain) but will skip the rest next time...

I got takeaway through deliveroo and I can say that this is the only good gluten-free takeaway I've ever had. I've ordered the gluten-free pizza and gluten-free dough balls 3 times already and it's never a disappointment. They have so many substitutes for different dietary requirements, it's great for my family because we all eat different stuff. I had been to Italy in 2009, and from then I was a big fan of Italian Pizza especially Margherita. After thay, I had visited multiple places but authentic Italian Margherita pizza was missing. But here, I unleashed my taste buds again after a long time waiting for authentic Italian food. Great place, little costly compared to other local restaurants but the price is worth.. nice service and my 2 year old daughter loved the food and the place.. definitely 5 stars...

Been here several times...usually excellent but my Calabrese pizza was low in quantity of sausage, mozzarella and wasn't as spicy as usual.....however, service is good, and you're always well looked after...I will return 🙂

Great pizza but beware of the wait times. On some days that you can't book a table in advance, you will have to wait at the restaurant physically for 40 mins or so to be allocated a table. During this time, the restaurant policy is not to serve you food/drink while you wait( I hope this policy changes soon). But the food was definitely worth the wait.

Think it was a franchise of Pizza Express judging from the logo and layout and menu inside. It wasn't spectacular, but only in the sense that it was what you would have expected of a Pizza Express. Great food, and there are new seasonal additions to the menu every few months. The staff are accommodating and are very welcoming to young people. There are usually offers on their website that you can use, so it really is great value! Also, the restaurant itself is very large for one in the middle of town which is a great bonus. We come here very often and are never disappointed.

We got our delicious flat bread starter very quickly, but waited about 40 minutes for our main to come out. I asked a waiter and he said it wasn't put through and that he'd do something on our bill. Someone else did our bill and nothing was taken off. The pizza was great but service needs to be better and if you promise to do something with our bill, you have to follow through.

The place is big and you don't realise until your inside. The menu does offer a wide range of pizza and other Italian dishes. Always ask what size the pizza is vs other portions. I went as a family of 2 adults and 3 children under 10. The kids menu is a 3 course menu for €8.50 and drinks are not included ( remember that ) our bill in terms of value came to €97 and change so value for money and service is very high. Word of caution add it up as you go..

Very yummy vegan pizza with vegan mozzarella (definitely lacking in toppings though), delicious polenta chips and great value cocktails. We were waiting aaaages for our food though because our order was forgotten about and twice they got our order wrong. The place was very busy though so understandable! Which brings me to another point, the two times I’ve been there it was full of families with screaming kids... so if you want a quiet, romantic dinner then maybe this isn’t the place for you lol

Excellent meal for both of us. Wifey had Lasagna and it was adorable. I had American Hot pizza. The base was delightfully thin and the ingredients amazing. We started with doh-balls and 3 dips all simply yummie. Waiters/waitresses were very attentive and food was brought quickly to our table. Highly recommend Milano in Cork city.

Food was lovely and we really enjoyed ourselves, however our waitress was rude and had to be reminded of items we had ordered on more than one occasion as she forgot to bring them to the table. She told one of my friends that she could not order a glass of coca-cola, no explanation why, just no. She refused to split the bill, again no explanation why and then was bold enough to ask why we did not leave a tip. We did not leave a tip because we weren't satisfied with the service.

It’s €3.55 for 330ml bottle of coke,9eu for small glass of Sauvignon Blanc, seriously?? Water for the table came straight from the tap and was so bad,as being a not cheap place to eat,I would suggest to serve nicer water because the water we got was undrinkable.Another little touch would make a huge change,it would be tablecloths on the tables,maybe it’s something to think about... Friday 25th October 2018. Service slow but server very professional and helpful. Party of six. One ordered an espresso at end of meal. The amount of coffee barely cover the bottom of the cup. Note espresso cup. Did bring it to the attention of the server, did get topped up. Was advised by her much to her surprise that the first measure was standard. €2.75. Nice setting however a visit only becomes value for money if you have a voucher. I find adult portion size for main course a bit small. However the Bambino kids meals are fair priced and kids won't want for any extra (3courses). Slightly overbearing service when place is quiet. Continually being asked if we were ok, enjoying things etc. I think there's a skill in this. Tip was reduced as a consequence of clumsy service in this manner. Overall kids will love it...looks posh but basic food...and overpriced with no discount voucher

Saturday evening was quite busy, so I had to que up, I would advice if going on a saturday or Sunday make a booking first. The food was not that great I've certainly had better lasagne there before. They were busy I had no booking so to be honest I was not happy with my sitting position, as it was just too close to the door anytime it opened I could feel the chill of the evening air. Really there was plenty of empty seats close to the door but away from the draught, they should have been clearing those tables and getting people setting down quicker to move the Que along, If I was the manager I certainly would of had staff clearing the tables and getting people sitting down quicker.

To a UK visitor this is the Irish brand of Pizza Express. This was an okay brand experience in terms of food quality, but let down by forgetting to cook one of our pizzas, which was served separately about 10 minutes later.

Decent pizza. I tried the new Hawaiian option. It was well assembled and cooked but then slathered in olive oil when served up which was a little OTT. Could have put bottles of oil on the tables instead. I ate with a large group of work colleagues and they wouldn't take separate payments which is not an usual request in that context. Instead many if us had to go out to an ATM and come back. I feel this rule should be pointed out at the start. Those who had to could have popped out after ordering rather awkwardly at the end.

I had a tesco gift voucher for Christmas and I tried to use it after eating with a friend however the staff members had a problem with it and said it was not valid. Days later tesco confirmed it was valid. I haven't been back and gave the voucher away to my daughter and she used it since without any of the issues I'd experienced.

What I like about Milanos is that they have a high quality product which you know will always hit the standard wherever and wherever you visit. I have been to Milanos in Ireland, UK, Hong Kong, and elsewhere, it has never disappointed me. The Cork restaurant is a great example, spacious and airy, you only ever have to wait at peak times, shopping days. If you have to wait, they have a pleasant bar/seating area. The restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible including the tables. It is also child friendly.
