Thomas Street isn't known for eateries really, so this fresh little joint is a diamond quite literally in the rough. I've never been inside the restaurant on account of the dog, but always sit outside where the staff are exceptionally friendly. Top place to eat before sauntering down to Vicar Street.

The food is tasty and the drinks are good too, plus the prices aren’t bad at all by Dublin standards. Is the food ground breaking? No! But it’s good and the atmosphere is lovely. What really makes this place is the staff though; not only did they not mind that I accidentally booked the wrong number of people; they gave us a *nicer* table because it’d fit the number we’d booked for. Service was faultless and staff were nothing but friendly. Absolutely loved my dinner here and I’ll be back!

I've been here twice and it's a great spot. Pizza is a lot cheaper prices than what you would pay in Dublin 2. Food is really nice and tasty. Cocktails quite good also. Reasonably priced - staff really friendly and attentive. Their Christmas menu was also great - 20 euro for two courses or 25 for 3 courses. Included a drink. Great value and lovely little restaurant .

This place is amazing! Great experience! Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant. I visited this place last weekend with friends. The atmosphere is super chill and cool. The staff truly cares about your experience and they know what they do. The food is gorgeous, some Italian classics, some twists and for their prices it’s worth it 100%. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Dublin. Highly recommend!

Not only is this a lovely local place with good food and incredibly accommodating and welcoming staff, it is run by lovely people who take care of the homeless in the area. Every week they fill hot water burkos for tea and coffee for the people on the streets and frequently send along pizza to share. As if the relaxed atmosphere, good food and fun drinks on tap aren't enough to get you down there!

A lovely spot in the heart of Thomas street, staff members were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our dinner as enjoyable as possible. Lovely waitress talked us through the menu, offered to take pics of us, and even went as far as offering samples of their slushie margaritas. The manager was speaking and having a laugh with all customers and was so friendly - a really cosy friendly atmosphere but also trendy ‘insta friendly’ vibe with some fantastic food and really reasonable prices.

Aron was our server and he was helpful in our menu selection, attentive and friendly during our meal, and when we asked for assistance in the best way to get back to our hotel, he sought out the answer from another staff member, Suchen, and they brought back written detailed information. Absolutely amazing food, and the staff are fantastic! It's so welcoming and warm. I'd highly recommend checking this place out, and if you love cheese as much as I do, you will love the quattro frommagi. There's quite a good selection to choose from, including pasta, flatbread and sides.

Aaron was attentive but most important, willingful to understand what we really wanted to eat. The light arrangements conspire to have an intimate and cosy atmosphere. The place is beautiful. Nice interior. But the one of the staff was absolutely so chatty with this one particular group of customers that we had to wait for some time for him to finish chatting and give us our pizza which was getting cold. He chatted so much that he never heard his name being called by the chef to give us our pizza. On that note, the pepperoni pizza was absolutely runny. It never stuck onto the dough, it just wasn't pleasant to look at, at all. I dont think i would order a takeaway pepperoni pizza as I fear it will end up pouring out of the pizza box.

Amazing fresh proper Italian pizza and salads to die for. Sinful desserts!! I swore I wouldn’t but couldn’t resist. Top notch friendly and efficient customer service. Being awkward, I requested changes and swaps in my order and nothing was a problem! Prices are really reasonable and lunch deals are brill and available really late until 4pm...I hope it stays the best kept secret in Dublin!

Quick and easy pizza joint with a cocktails on tap! Nice decor and friendly staff. For freshly made pizza, it could be a bit tastier bit still not the worst. Hopefully the quality improves with time seeing as they're only a new addition to Thomas Street. I got the 'Big Smoke' with smoked bacon, smoked Gubeen cheese, mozzarella and tomato sauce. The base could be fluffier but still tasty.

Great pizza, salad, dessert, and beer! They do have some alcoholic drinks as well, however, not a full bar. Dine in or takeaway they offer tasteful salads and fun sized pizza. Proof Pizza is a great place for meeting mates, date night, or dinner with yourself. The service is still working out the kinks, however, the atmosphere and the food are what will have me returning.

Great new Pizza place in Thomas St close to Guinness storehouse. Pizzas are the real deal. Super thin , light yet full of flavour. Good value for what you get. You can design your own pizza if you want and mix it up with a good selection of salads and drinks.

Pizza was very good! Great size nice and thin crust and they weren’t stingy on the cheese! I got the spicy pizza dia... something. The peppers on it were very tasty, and it was cooked in front of you in the oven. My friend got the squash goat cheese pizza. Got the chance to try that one slice and it was nice, light and fresh! I liked the cheesy goodness of mine more but to each there own. The vibe of the place is very chill with a touch of gatsby and hipster. Staff were Quite friendly and quick.

Pizza is fine. I had the diavola. Small enough but tasty. Somewhere between a proper pizza and what gets away as a pizza here. The spritz wasnt good. my italian companion informed me and overall a poor selection of drinks. Convenient stop but not somewhere I'd plan to go to.

Management/owner needs to cop on and hire more waiter staff immediately and not make pivotal business decisions on a Friday, yesterday owner /manager decided to change the ordering system without testing it out first. I was here last night with some friends. The few waiter staff there were all very busy and stressed out. There was more people working behind the counter then out on the floor. Luckily for us the staff accepted the things were bad and didn't charge us for drinks.

Yesterday was my second time here and it’s been two decent experiences..great pizza, exceptional staff and great cocktails for me and the mrs.. my only issue was out of the two times we were here my girlfriend pointed out was that there was a lady who had a baby in her arms that went behind the till and poured herself a drink.. (twice I believe) which I thought was unprofessional and not like any bar/pub I’ve been in.. overall great experience but that encounter was quite unprofessional and That’s why I hesitate to go back..

Can’t give enough praise! First time in Proof last weekend and I’ll definitely be back. The food was amazing, I had the bacon and mushroom pasta and my friend had the Regina pizza, would highly recommend both as well as the strawberry vodka cocktail👌 but what really made the evening were the staff and owner/manager Simonae (sorry if not spelled correctly)! So friendly, helpful and welcoming, can’t wait to go back!

From the minute you walk in a welcome greeting by a very polite French I’m guessing manager as he said bon appetite ordered the lasagna for €11 and a side of chips it’s was unreal not to mad on the chips id kill for fresh chips deffo frozen ones but still a must try great to see new restaurants in Dublin 8. Lasagna was very very fresh which I was what I’ve been trying to find the past few days fresh food with fresh ingredients.
