Reviews of Sano Pizza

The service was about 10 minutes after ordering at the place a takeout. Overall it is a good wooden fire pizza, napolitanean style. It was tasty but they should use more seasoning because the dough was lacking a bit of flavoring.
R. K.
If you’re look for a real authentic pizza look no further! Recently came across Sano and it’s been my go to everytime
Great pizza, good vibes and just an overall nice place to be
Would recommend!
R. T.
Tastiest pizza I have had in a long time!! I would say it's quite filling which is a good thing. Lovely waitress and very hygiene grounds. I brought my daughter and she didn't want any of the regular pizzas and they were happy to make her up one that she enjoyed.
K.
Really tasty Neapolitan pizza and good value as well. Most pizzas were around 10 euros. We got The margherita and prosciutto. They also have some outdoor seating
B. G.
Fantastic pizza, reasonably priced and staff were very friendly.
J. R.
The best Neapolitan Pizza in Dublin. Good price and very tasty. The service was fast and the place is cool 😎
M. B.
Great pizzas, fair price, lovely staff, there isn't much I would change in fairness :)
D. R.
Fantastic Pizza at very reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the wait times were short. Will definitely visit again!
T. P.
More than once I have been to Sano for eating pizza. Staff organised and I think is the best napolitan pizza style in Dublin. Prices??? To be in Dublin they are honest. I suggest Sano to all of them who want to try the proper pizza, and, even to italian people who are missing it.

One of my favourite pizza places in Dublin city. Lovely authentic pizzas, nice interior and always friendly staff. Quick service and the pricing is very decent in my opinion. The kitchen is quite open so your sometimes actually able to see the chefs making the food. It’s a nice touch. Will surely be coming back to this place soon!
A. B.
Love this pizza, best one in Dublin imho, pricing is very fair
M. C.
Pizza was delicious and the drinks were amazing too! Great service and I didn't have to wait much. I definitely recommend.
E. B.
Great experience!! Does need loads of confidence to make a real pizza napoletana with no compromise in Ireland!! Great dough great ingredients great experience.
C. C.
One of our favorite pizza places in Dublin! We ordered here many times and finally got a chance to dine in! We love their pizzas, especially for their tasty dough and thin base!
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The place was very cool and comfortable - we enjoyed seeing how the food is made!
H. A. (.
Their pizza is amazing + cheap and it's totally fair
E. B.
Brilliant gluten free pizza! I never expect much when getting gluten free pizza but this just changed the game. Very reasonably priced for what you get. The rest of the guys got regular pizzas and we're also happy.
T. Z.
Big pizza. Nice stuff. Only mushrooms are not baked. To many olives. Recommended.
B. C.
Had the most delishes pizza yesterday in Sano's. The food is always amazing. The staff are fantastic, always very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is always great and the surrounding are always spotlessly clean. Looking forward to returning again soon.
W. H.
Definitely one of the best places to eat in city centre when you're on a budget. Waiting time was 15 minutes.
O.
Dublin has a myriad of excellent pizza restaurants. This one will be hard to beat on price and the pizza, quite frankly, is delicious. All pizzas are in and around €10 and a pint of Five Lamps for a fiver...you can't go wrong! They also do a Nutella pizza which I think I'll tackle the next time I'm there. It looked soooo good!! Friendly staff and very prompt service in a relaxed atmosphere. Also, not too tricky to navigate if you have a buggy/pram.
V. K.
The pizza were okay but the dough is always burned which is not good
B. S.
Visited a few times now, and while the price is definitely right, the pizza is just good. Personally I feel the underside could be crispier, and this has been an issue for me every time. The staff are very good; perhaps a little too attentive at times, but I'll put that down to crossed wires due to outdoor dining.
H. L.
Went there first time with friends before COVID, then went back a few times until lockdown came, after that it was just takeaway. The best pizza I’ve had in Ireland! Fresh ingredients, delicious sauce, the dough is fantastic and it’s baked to perfection!! Bravo!!
A. A.
The pizza here has always been great. I’ve returned to this restaurant so many times. However, on last visiting the place, the staff were so incredibly rude. They got our order completely wrong and were visually angry when we asked for it to be replaced. I feel terrible returning food - always awkward. They brought another pizza and literally threw it on the table. Although I love the food, I won’t ever return.
V. B. M.
The staff was nice. The place was clean and comfy. As for the pizza, even though all of my friends love their pizza, It didnt like it so much. I tried 4 options, margherita and nutella my favs.
A. M.
I would definitely recommend someone visiting Dublin to eat here. The pizza was good not great and was also well priced. The pizza was thin and a little bit more on the doughy side, but I think they were cooking it that way on purpose. When we went they were very busy and seemed to be handling it really well and getting food out on time to everyone. The restaurant is extremely loud, because they are constantly just throwing the dirty dishes in the sink. I would not go there if you are looking to catch up with someone.
R. V.
Fairly good Italian/Napoletan pizza. The place is nice, the service could be better: they are not really customer obsessed. Anyway you go there for the food and the food won't disappoint you. 36.5 euro one antipasto, one pizza, one dessert to share plus two glasses of wine. For dublin that's on the cheap side. Thumbs up.
W. S. L.
Large spacious pizza joint with an contemporary, industrial edge. Neon signs and photos of Italian street art decor. Reasonably priced and tasty pizza (also now serving gluten free options) Fast service and great coffee
J. R.
Nice pizza place with great value. The pizzas are definitely filling and have a good taste to them. You don't need a reservation as they try to turn tables rather quick; especially if you are in a small group. Sit, order, eat and go all in 20 minutes. Definitely a great value, but falls a bit short in personality.
L.
Affordable, delicious, popular with Italians! Not a difficult spot to get a table on a Friday or Saturday evening either, but at the same time very popular! Has vegan and gluten free options.
T. C.
This Italian restaurant was totally unexpected just next to the heart of Dublin.
It is a bit farther from the river yet very close and it's easy to get there.
What brought my attention were the prices - this place is really affordable. Basic pizza in the menu, marinara, is just 6€.
The pizzas there are really tasty, nothing missing from the ones you'd eat in Italy.
The Nutella dessert pizza with strawberries was also great.
D.
Pizza was absolutely delicious! Loved the taste and texture of the dough. Super light. Glad we made the decision to have pizza here instead of another place we were considering. Dessert was yummy as well. Not what I expected when it arrived but wasn't complaining. Very generous portion size too and left feeling full and satisfied 🙂
E. D.
Place recommeneded to me by few Italians and it was worth it. Quality food for extremely affordable price (each pizza 10-12 euro). If you never tried pizza with baked potato or nutella on it, look no further. This restautant is very big so the usual waiting time is no more than from none to 15mins.
m. r.
One of the best places in Dublin where you can find an excellent Neapolitan pizza. Pizzas were absolutely flawless and the service was pretty fast as well.
A special thanks goes to the two pizza chefs, Ivan and Andrea. Thank you guys, we will definitely come back again.

I'm italian and pizza is one of the dishes I miss the most from my home country. Since I am in Dublin I eat pizza every now and then due to high price in most of the Italian restaurants. I've heard about Sano pizza recently and I wanted to try it. I went yesterday with my flatmates and the first impression we had when we came in was "wow nice style this place!". We got a vegetarian, a sapori del sud and a speciale with gorgonzola. The menu has a good number of options between pizzas, drinks and sweets. Not many sides. Be aware that 2 special pizzas are written on the blackboard and there is no mention at all on the menu (just a little suggestion to the owners... Add a mention about the special of the day at the end of the list!). We got our drinks in 5min and the pizza in 20min. Service was very fast. The pizzas were well made, thin in the center with a nice well baked crust. The best in my opinion was the gorgonzola one. But all of them were good. The ingredients are of good quality and real italian ones. I went downstairs and some of the tomato cans and flour bags were still sitting around and were all from Italy. In the end the bill was easy to digest as was the pizza. The price is very affordable compared with the competitors. A Margherita here is 6euros while in other Italian restaurants is 10 euros. Overall I totally recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. I will eat pizza here again for sure very soon.
P. R.
New pizza restaurant in the heart of Dublin city, on the outskirts of Temple Bar. There was a great atmosphere when we ate in Sano. Small number of (8) pizzas to choose from, but they all seem to be top quality. Delicious olives to nibble on beforehand. Service was efficient, much better than similar pizza restaurants that have opened recently.
M. G.
We had nice, delicious pizza(s) and tasty red wine. The venue looks new and tidy. Staff members were friendly and helpful.
To pay for your bill you have to go to the cashier. We couldn't pay to the waitress.
Overall was a good experience. Staff members were smile.
M. D.
Place is spacious, the pizza is really nice and I had the Maradona one... This is like the closest to napoli italian pizza u will get in Dublin. All in all it's decent. 👍
E. M. J.
Great experience. The food is amazing and the price is very good for the quality. The waiting time is low, even when the restaurant is full.
I. T.
It's usually quite hard to find a good and authentic Italian pizza place outside Italy, but Sano is one of the best restaurants when it comes to Neapolitan pizza. I discovered this newly opened place a couple of weeks ago through some Italian friends and I've been coming here regularly. They cook everything in two pizza ovens brought over from Naples and the result is really amazing. Also, the prices are much lower than what you usually would pay for lunch/dinner in Dublin. Highly recommended!
J. R.
Very good pizza. Reasonably priced, excellent dough. Haven't dined in yet but recommend the takeout service.
G. M.
Had a Diavola, my stomach didn’t love it but I did.
Great pizza, Neapolitan style.
Decent prices too, good location, and friendly stuff. Highly recommended!
D. H.
Really nice place. White and red wine selection. A few beers in tap and a handful more in a bottle or can. Pizzas are incredible. They're wood fire neapolitan style - prices between 6 and 10 Euros. Ice cream and a few Italian dessert options. Nutella pizza too! Awesome place.
G. P.
Great pizzas, very tasty and at a great price. They could use a bit more social distancing between tables when the place is half empty.
N. A.
Good, Cheap, Neapolitan style pizza. It's the first place I've found in Dublin that combines all tre. The service is a bit slow, but in the norm for Restaurants. It doesn't accept reservation, but the restaurant is large so even if there's a queue it moves pretty fast. Italian approved!
J. H.
I had a pizza craving for two days before we got to Dublin. My friends patiently walked around with me until we saw a place that looked delicious and we saw a pride flag in the window. They checked our vaccine certs at the door and everyone was soooo nice. This will be my go to pizza place in Dublin. I had the prosciutto and mushroom. It was absolutely delicious.
M. C.
Pizza is very good and cheap! Service is fast and waiters are extremely polite! Highly recommended
A. M.
Very cheap prices ( under 10€ many times) and nice quality. Not Italian style, but all pizzas can be gluten free and there are vegan options. You can get slices.
S. Z.
One of my top 3, actually top 2 pizzas in Dublin. Amazing dough! They never disappoint especially with their special pizzas the y change every month or two. Highly recommended!
S. F.
Really enjoyed my lunch here. The menu is small - but that's their trick - less items to store means better value. And boy is it great value all pizzas are €9 or less (cheapest is €6!!!) and everything else is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and attentive. Love the industrial decor. I'll be back (and again, and again...)
A. M.
This is probably one of the best places in Dublin for pizza. Despite their offering can be consider limited and quite simplistic, it does compensate in taste and savour. First time i ever had a marguerita and I enjoyed it!
Nevertheless, there are few things this place needs to address, specially during busy hours:
- have a system to manage bookings online and at the door (quite frustrating that the waiter says to everyone to come back in 30 minutes)
- pizza size gets smaller during busy times (this should never happen)
- improve communication skills of few employees (patronising clients is not helpful)
- table service can become very slow during busy hours (waited 20 minutes for a ice cream).
Still I highly recommend it, specially if you can go outside busy times. If you go during working hours between 3pm and 5pm, the restaurant will be completely empty.
M. G.
Fantastic pizza, great dervice and nice atmosphere
I. D.
The pizzas are really good. I personally like how they let you cut the pizza yourself, though some people prefer their pizzas already cut before being served. It gets very crowded, expect being have to wait before seated. And if you're claustrophobic, this place might not be for you. The waiters and waitresses can get rude if they are under pressure, which I think isn't that professional of them. But the food to price ratio will not disappoint. I left the place smiling.
G. L.
Literally the best pizza ive ever had. Mushroom and ham was amazing and the kinder bueno milkshake was fantastic. Very affordable too! Highly recommend.
P. R.
Nice Italian thin pizza. Very busy even on Mondays. Also, I wish they could have more than one vegan option.
j. p.
Great pizza, great value. Probably the best in Dublin.
Also the waitress Camilla was super helpful and nice
A. B.
Best quality/price deal you'll find in town. Great staff brilliant pizza.
D. O.
What a nice restaurant, we both had a relaxing time, there was good music playing and it's big enough that you are not sitting on top of everyone. Good value for money, especially if it's your girlfriends turn to bring you for dinner, no flies on her, it was €23 for 2 pizzas and a glass of wine. Nice pizza with quick service, the base could have been crispier but all in all a good spot.
M. W.
Best pizza in Dublin
Chilled spot with plenty of seats, but don’t take reservations
Very cheap. Can get a margarita and beer for ~€10
L. B.
Amazing pizza! Soft dough and fresh ingredients, absolutely delicious and most importantly, affordable!! The place is also very nice inside and staff are friendly. Pizzas are big and after the first time you would like to try them all! You can't miss it!
R. G.
Delicious pizza here today and the hazelnut tiramisu was fantastic also. Will definitely be back. Great value for quality of the food.
A. P.
So far never got disappointed with Sano Pizza!
We tried lots of different ones and it was always perfect!
C. P.
I love the place, well.. the pizzas, as the place we've not properly seen due to Covid. I hope they keep the quality, prices and cheerful staff!
J. M.
First time at this pizzeria. Easily the best option in Dublin for quality, authentic Italian pizza and great value for money. Staff were very nice too. Already planning a return visit.
K. F.
Best gluten free pizza in town and that's including Italy
T. P.
Best authentic pizza in Dublin. All my Italian friends go there. They do proper Italian pizza dough and ingredients including buffalo mozzarella. The Naples Pizza was delicious. They also do Nutella pizza for desert. Sounds strange but actually works
G. B.
Sano Pizza never disappoints!
A new delicious special pizza on offer this week: porcini mushrooms, spicy sausage, bacon, gorgonzola cheese, buffalo mozzarella, mozzarella, and basil leaves - absolutely delicious!
M. B.
Delicious pizza, great value and friendly staff. Not very crowded on a Wednesday night which was perfect.
C. W.
I visited on a very wet and snowy Sunday afternoon so the place wasn't very busy. Which I accept probably enhanced the experience.
We had our order taken very quickly, and Pizzas came within about 10 minutes. Pizza's are good quality, with a lovely Authentic fresh Pizza dough.
I had a pesto dip for my crusts, and this also was fragrant and tasted like fresh basil.
For Desserts we had Tiramisu, which comes in little glasses. My only complaint here was that the tirimasu ALSO seemed to have been made fairly fresh, but that meant the biscotti wasn't as well soaked as it could have been? Purely up to preference I guess.
I would recommend to friends and would go back, but I think having a quiet day helped.
J. B.
Pizza excellent, service excellent, had a voucher but small print said had to be used before 6pm, didn't see the small print...
E. S.
My favourite pizza in Dublin. Tried the bake at home and it's almost as good as fresh! Would recommend
J. K.
An amazing pizza place in town. Pizzas were amazing, price very good, sitting good as well, staff friendly. I would definitely recommend. I'll be back very soon. Thumbs up
C. C.
Came shortly before closing, and they had no problem whipping up a delicious, authentic pizza. Highly recommend.
D. S. S.
Amazing value for money. The pizzas are one of the best in Dublin and the sides looked amazing too. The ambiance can suit both a romantic date and a bunch of hungry friends and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Totally recommend the place.
P. S.
Pizza was one of the best I've eaten, delicious! Very reasonable price 🙌🏻
T. T.
fabulous pizza 🍕 and brilliant service. can't wait to go back.
m. l.
Very good pizza! Light dough and fresh ingredients. Recommended to try!
g. b.
This place is beyond all my previous expectations. I am Italian but I have to admit that this is the best pizza I have ever eaten! Not in Ireland but in my life! I couldn't believe it and still almost I can't. I had to talk with Rocco , the pizzaiolo, and talking with him I have understood something more about the reason why the taste of this pizza it is so incredible, but I won't reveal the secret. Just go there and ask. This is the real pizza at the very top level and delivered every day at the same quality level. And I can say it because after the first time I went there I came back immediately the day after because I couldn't believe it was possible to have somethign so good here in Dublin. Don't be fooled by the fact that the prices are low. I could spend much more time explaining why this pizza is exceptional but... just trust me and test it. If the same pizzaiolo - Rocco - is still working there and you won't notice the quality of this pizza then the problem is you and not the pizza. In that case it would just mean that you have been too often at Dominos....and that's where you belong!
L. G.
One of the best pizza places in Dublin. Excellent value, extremely tasty and great service. I would recommend highly.
a. c.
The hazelnut tiramisù is the best in the city. The garlic mozzarella bread is incredible and pizza is very, very good.
K. T.
One of my favourite Pizza´s in Dublin City. Great taste, wide range of products and superbe service! Many Thanks Sano Team fro bringing a peace of Naples to Ireland!
T. 7.
Nice pizza, cozy warm atmosphere. As an italian i would recommand it.
J. G. (.
Excelent pizzas for a very good price. Location is very central, with other nice pubs to go after having your pizzas.
P. D.
When I arrived, I noticed there were 5-6 deliveroo drivers waiting outside in the cold. The chef brought out pizzas for them to share and I could see that they really appreciated it. It was a very kind gesture and I will happily continue to support an amazing business like this. Also their pizza is great.
s. s.
Great pizza, and great value. Highly recommended this place for dinner
E. J. C.
Cool place. Delicious dough. Very good value. Garlic bread was an entire pizza size itself. Will be back.
T. B.
Best pizza place in Dublin. And best of all reasonably priced.
M. C.
One of the best pizzas in the city. Cheap and extremely good. If someone wants to try a proper italian pizza go for Sano!
L. R.
Great pizza and wine at good prices. Really quick service
R. R.
Good Italian Pizza made by Italian pizza maker with wood oven. Simply Menu with few options that makes it easy to choose. You can start with a classic Italian starter (Bruschetta) and then take a classic Margherita that is probably the best choice. Nice location, no reservation needed. You can also order for delivery.
C. E.
Best Pizza I've had in Ireland and I live in Belfast
G. c.
Very tasty pizza, Nice staff !
F. O.
Fabulous pizza and lovely staff. Highly recommend this place.
P. L.
Service was very confused, they had the bill wrong many times, the sauce on the pizza a bit dry. Just order takeaway.
G. M.
Great food! 100% recommended!
V. B.
This place serves Best food at the Best price in Dublin. Their Brushetta and Neapolitan Piiza tastes great 👌

Loved their recommendations and will continue to come back more often

One of the best and most affordable pizza in Dublin!
The mozzarella is great and the place has a nice vibe!
Good service, not too slow!
G. L.
Hands down the best pizza in town, never disappoints. Friendly staff, amazing food, what’s not to love?

A. V.
Very good pizza with a burrata on top, very difficult to find in Dublin, especially with these low prices
E. A.
Amazing value for money pizza. Friendly service and easy going atmosphere.
Z.
Very good pizza and service. The place was a bit small but welcoming.
S. L.
Affordable, delicious pizza with veggie and vegan options.
A. M.
Nice pizza.
Great service, i always feel welcome
A. T.
Perfect pizza place!
E. H.
Stunning. Wonderful atmosphere through. In the Heart of Dublin very easy to get to and usually is busy but still seats available. A great gluten free range with staff very accommodating. Staff do look a tad frantic and busy and can appear cumbersome. Price was good for the area and the product. Pizza was wonderful and overall a nice experience. Would go again.
M. B.
Delicious pizza. Doughy and fluffy. Even take aways the next day tasted fresh👌🏼
E. O.
The pizza is amazing, real thin and still enough. They have gluten free version which is also great. Only tried 2 standard pizza and 2 type of desert, but definitely will come back for more. Everyone is young but you don't have to be old to do excellent authentic pizza with superb service. Exceptional!
A. M.
I never write a review just after I finish dinner:
I've been looking for this kind of pizza in Dublin for long. One of the best no doubt!!
It's easy to deliver a good pizza for 15€ but this guys make it's cheaper.
I specially appreciate the fact that they have a 6€ one. There it's always a broke student whose only option it's that.
I'll keep the 5 starts as long as they keep the prices.
Really good job, you made a man happy.
P. Z.
Great Pizza, good tiramisu, and good prices! The only downside, it get quite noisy when busy.
L. A.
Incredible place to eat an amazing Italian style pizza, I recommend prociutto or rucula, those ones are the best.
P. H.
The pizzas were great and such at a great price as well. All of the staff were attentive and were friendly
D. S.
The best pizza place in town! Delicious and cheap!
N. T.
Very great tasting and authentic pizza. Only complaint was the loud constant static sound off the speakers.
C. E.
Delicious, great value and such a good spot to go with friends. Oh and they have gluten free pizza
O. N. C.
Amazing Pizza at such a good reasonable price in Dublin 🍕
Ł. S.
The pizza was on the light side in terms of toppings, which were too few and too far between for my liking, but otherwise the quality was top notch.
The only Italian in our party said it ain't the best pizza in town, but it's still "top shelf". Service was quick and friendly, and the place was clean and welcoming.
I.
I visited the restaurant with my partner last Saturday and I was very pleased with the experience. Finally our first time eating out since the lockdown! We arrived at our allotted time and were sited promptly, the place was not busy so there was enough space between customer which made us very comfortable. The service was good and fast as usual, and of course the pizzas were delicious!
I.
Pizza dough is one of the best in Dublin. Toppings are not bad as well. Price is more than ok, affordable for anyone! However, waiters are a bit confused (probably because the place was packed), we waited for pizzas almost half an hour, and we never got bottled water even though we ordered it. Place is really nice and cozy, food is good, staff if really really nice and friendly, so basically just get more staff and you'll get 5 stars :)
A. F.
Definitely one of Dublin's more budget oriented hot spots. No fuss and small but good menu the pizzas are well priced and tasty. It's always busy so prepare to wait a while.
Main plus - good food and beer at decent prices.
Only quibble, service, while always pleasant, can sometimes be a bit slow only as they are often understaffed. Pizzas come out quick though and again quality can vary a bit based on how busy it is. But all and this is a great place and I've been back many times and will continue to do so.
H. A.
The best pizzas in Ireland with pretty good vegan/ vegetarian options. I'll defo come back
V. H.
If you haven't visited Sano Pizza you must go! Delicious pizza!
A. L.
Price is fantastic for the size of the pizza, but found the sauce to be quite tasteless and the base was very soggy. If that base hasn't been super soggy it would have been perfect.
Went at 12. There was only one guy there who was left to run after tables as the place was filling fast. Definitely need more wait staff. Had to go up to him to order drinks.
U. R.
Decent pizza, nice atmosphere ,good prices and no pineapple!
A. C.
Lived up to the hype. Very good pizza
R.
Delicious but the mushrooms on my pizza were not fresh mushrooms.
D. C.
Nice pizza, one of the best in Dublin, but still not as good as expected. Prices are quite low and sizes are generous. Large sitting area with very good and quick service. Restrooms were very clean, but there was no soap. It's also kids friendly. We'll definitely come back.
S. I.
Love this place. A comfortable and laid back dining experience. Restaurant is nicely laid out and decor style is cool. Pizzas are the best I’ve eaten and my fussy eating 5yr old loves the marinara pizza with no cheese. Soft whipped ice cream finishes it off perfectly. Service has been hit and miss but overall good. Toilets are always clean also. 5 ⭐️
M. R.
The best Gluten free pizza in DUblin!
A. C.
Delicious pizza, friendly service, fantastic price. Such good value for money and they have all covid precautions in place. The desserts are great too! Will definitely be back
I. M.
My favourite place in Dublin for quality wood fired pizza. The dough is sensational and ingredients are fresh. Good value for money and always happy with customer service as well.
S. N.
If you want to taste the best Italian style pizzas in Dublin, that's the place!
M. H.
Absolutely the best pizza in town! Without a doupt - it doesn't look great from the outside but that shouldn't bother you. Just go in, and enjoy the flair and the perfect pizza, made in a wooden fire oven. It tastes absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend this one :D
I. F.
Absolutely amazing. Had a lovely time with friendly staff and amazing pizza. The prices are fantastic, less than 10 euro for a large pizza. Where we were sitting was open and bright but close and quaint. Will definitely be back in the near future.
C. E. K.
Good pizza. Nice price.
D. D.
Very good Napoli style pizza at finally reasonable price in Dublin city center!
J. F.
Great pizza! What more do I need to say!
G. Z.
I had a very nice pizza there. I totally recommend. Not expensive, service very nice. I'll definitely go there again the next time I am in Dublin.
A side note. There are a couple of big ovens, and the place is quite warm ... I mean a nice comfortable warm. Great specially for winter I guess. ;)
T. H.
Great pizza and service for a reasonable price
A. O.
Amazing food, service and extremely affordable. Will 100% be back!
B. R.
I love sano pizza, it's honestly the best pizza in Dublin and really reasonably priced. The staff has always been helpful when I've been there and I've never had a bad experience. They are also very accommodating to vegan and vegetarian people and don't make a fuss at all. I can't reccomend them enough.
C. O.
I had a very nice experience here. The pizza prices are beyond reasonable, cheaper than any other good wood fired pizza place in the city. The pizza I had was delicious, lovely pizza base and good quality toppings. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere and decor were comfortable and relaxing. Reasonable selection of very fairly priced alcohol as well. I can see this become a regular place I will be visiting.
G.
Two visits so far and it remains a 3 star rating. Whilst it's a budget pizza place I think the quality could be a lot better for a little more €... Pizzas are undercooked in the middle and daubed with a tea spoon of tomato sauce. The table beside us got a gluten free pizza base which looked way more appetising. A homemade tiramisu for €4.50 would be fantastic if it wasn't sitting in its own liquid at the bottom of the glass. Not sure if I'll be back
C. B.
Best pizza I've had in Dublin. And very reasonably priced too. Friendly staff.
G. H.
One of the best pizzas in town . I love their traditional baked pizza .
Cleanliness 5/5
Food quality 5/5
Staff helpful and friendly 5/5
Price 5/5
I recommend this place to whoever love pizzas.
J. J.
Probably one of the best pizza i have try ever..
L. V.
Great pizzeria: a narrow selection of pizza on the menu, but excellently executed. Friendly staff, great value for money. Perhaps not the best in Dublin (even though we ordered 3 pizza for 2 people); surely it is for the prices and the high level of quality. Worth a visit!
Remark: coffee is a real Italian espresso and you must try it!
J. S.
Very tasty pizzas and nice staff.
Highly recommend and will come back for more.
R. d. S.
The pizza is delicious and good price as well!
Also, stuff are friendly and welcoming!
The house wine is great, thus I recommend this place for sure!
Tip, don't forget to ask for Nutella pizza as a dessert! It's lovely!
y.
If you're in the mood for a good quality, tasty soft pizza, this is the place for you. It gets really busy after 6pm so you're better off booking a table in advance or turn up earlier than 6pm. They've got gluten free and vegan cheese options which is perfect.
E. I.
It's good. Compared to the prices the pizza is definitely good. Concerning taste the dough is nice and simple, at least for my own personal preference the cheese on margarita was quite far from enough. Service was nice, inside it's quite busy and cozy. A very good place to eat.
A. O.
The pizza is good but they have a super annoying new (?) policy where they won’t seat you until your entire party is present. Totally understand that on busy nights! But I arrived early midweek, a few mins before my friends, hoping to have a glass of wine while I waited. Despite there being >5 empty tables, they made me wait outside in the lashing rain. There were a number of other incomplete parties waiting, so many that there was no space under the porch and people either had to block the wheelchair ramp to stay dry or stand in the rain. Not ideal!
J. C. D.
I have been to this restaurant/pizzeria a couple of times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere and service is great, you feel the Italian way of doing things.
Pizza is absolutely fantastic and I've been there with italian friends and they have confirmed it is an authentic pizza.
Prices are reasonable for Dublin standards.
L. S.
Sano pizza is a very nice place. Actually I think is the most cheaper pizza in Dublin and pizzas are amazing. Very good and original Italian ingredients, the staff is nice and friendly. Nothing bad about the other Italian restaurants, they made lovely pizza as well, just the price is the difference. Anyway i recommend it.
G. L.
Delicious pizza at a great price!
Staff were really friendly, good selection of beers and drinks and the atmosphere is really nice.
In terms of pricing, the majority of pizza's are under a tenner and they are an authentic Neapolitan style pizza - would definitely recommend!
F. C.
Food is amazing so is its quality.
Downside: service can be so so so so so so so so slow and you could believe there is not enough staff. We received starters after the pizza (?) and some beers never even arrived. It was a Sunday lunch and the place wasn't even full. Went there again last Friday and again, had to wait for ages to order and always trying to waive at the waitresses when they were nearby to ask for dessert or more drinks.
Don't get me wrong, pizzas are amazing! But they could do with more floor staff.
S. M.
Delicious pizza, particularly the pizza special 3 with pecorino! Service was a little slow however.
A. L.
Good quality of food but the service is very very slow.
R. M.
Up there with the best pizzas in Dublin, reasonable prices, unfortunately service is always slow but still worth it.
Update: prices have increased and finding a table has become a chaotic process.
Pizza quality is not consistent either.
C. D.
Best pizza I've had in Dublin and really cheap too! A whole pizza is generally less than €10. Service was also very fast, will definitely return.
s. m.
Fantastic places and very good pizza.
A. C.
I got a voucher through Groupon and After a few bad experiences I wasn’t expecting much from the place, but honestly I was very surprised! One of best pizzas I ever had! Service was nice and quick! I will definitely come back for the special pizzas! I also recommend to try the Tiramisu, so delicious!
R.
Takeaway: Lovely garlic bread pizza & fresh pizzas. A little bit too much olive oil on the pizzas for my liking, they were dripping.
The Tiramisu is UNBELIEVABLE. So good. Sweet ricotta Canneloni is great too.
I’d like to visit the restaurant as unfortunately deliveroo is a flawed delivery service in that the food always arrives cold and soggy in the cyclists bags. If getting a takeaway try get it delivered by car or collect.
C. G.
Disappointing compared to previous visits, I think the standard has gone a downhill. Base is very doughy, not as flavoursome compared to memory. Good atmosphere however and handy location, but there are many other options for pizza in the area.
L. B.
One of the best pizza in Dublin for sure. It's always packed, which can be a problem when you're hungry, but it's also a sign that the place is really good. It's probably the best quality/price ratio in town.
S.
Great food, very busy and the waiting staff seemed a bit rushed off their feet.
L. S.
If you want to have an Authentic Italian experience when it comes to pizza, Sano Pizza is the perfect place for you! This restaurant came highly recommended and now that I've experienced the place, I highly recommend it too :). I ordered the Diavola pizza and Tiramisu. I enjoyed the pizza. The base is thin, but the pizza is huge. It will definitely fill you up. The Tiramisu was heaven in my mouth. This place offers a comfortable and laid-back dining experience. So, grab your family and/or friends and pay this restaurant a visit.
G. Ó. M.
A piece of me wants to avoid giving a review. I'd love this Pizzia place to stay hidden. Amazing quality and low prices make this a 5 star. It gives my previous favourite pizza place a run for its money. Highly recommend Sano.
Pizza base and the basic ingredients are perfectly mastered in Napoli traditions .
J. O.
Good variety of pizzas, all of which can be prepared on a gluten free base which is wonderful. 4 stars as food was a bit cold when it arrived.
L. A.
Where do I begin? If you want the true taste of Italy at reasonable, Italian-like prices, then Sano is the place for you! I do not remember ever having a fresher tasting pizza! This absolute gem of a place is a must-visit!! The prices were such a pleasant surprise in an ever-more expensive Dublin so fellow students, if you're ever looking for a place, look no further! Thankfully we managed to find seats because even on a Tuesday night no table was left empty for too long. Beautiful atmosphere inside and a beautiful exterior smack-bang in the middle of Dublin. So happy to have found out about it!!!
K. d. T.
Classic Italian PIzza - Delicious. and really great service
S. F.
They're doing a great job with social distancing. All staff wearing masks, washing hands regularly and one use menu etc
Their stone baked pizzas are delicious as always, lovely spot in the city centre, a must visit
S. D.
Delicious Napolitano pizza. Reserve in advance or may experience 20-30 minute wait. They will take your number and text you and give you 10 mins to confirm and to approach them. Simple and delicious menu selection. Good wine! Nice staff.
P. G.
Pizza was perfect.
I had Diavola withSpicy Salami, I loved the sauce and the mozzarella, the base was beautifully thin I loved every bite.
Ger had the Prosciutto E Funghi Harry had Marinara, they loved it!
Thanks to Harry, great choice we'll be back.
G. H. Y.
The pizzas were overcooked and burnt but delicious
M. H.
Excellent service. Great prices and a simple menu.
The place is quite a bit larger than it looks from the outside. Stylish decoration and a cool 80s rock playlist.
We were seated and served instantly. Fantastic serving staff.
If you're looking for somewhere to grab a quick pizza in a restaurant setting and not have to break the bank, come here.
J. M.
One of thebest pizzas that I've ever eaten in my life. Its quite difficult to find a table though. I sat beside the door and heard about the policy. Some people said that friends are coming in 5 miniutes and became 40. By the time, me and my friend had finished so its understandable why this policy. They dont book a table as well. Good price, quality and nice staff. Will be back!
N. m.
Very nice place and really good pizza! High quality ingredients. 4/5 because, music was a little bit too loud and pizza toppings weren't spread properly. Probably one the best pizza places in Dublin!
B. C.
Best pizza dough I've had in Ireland by a good amount. Nice seating area outside too & staff are very friendly & good, quick service
S. G.
Pizza was okay with a decent base. Some of the toppings worked while some didn't. Dips were pants. Water was warm. Had to go to the counter to pay, which I don't mind doing but they were probably understaffed. Very reasonable price in fairness.
B. E.
Top 5 pizza in Dublin. Solid everytime. Amazing crust and good ingredients. They have great vegetarian options as well.
C. A.
The options to eat a good pizza in Dublin are getting more and more. This is the new place in town. Compared to other places in the area it has the obvious advantage of having an ample restaurant on two floors, capable of accommodating big groups, and popular prices. Also, reservation is not needed. Pizza here is Neapolitan style with the traditional Italian options. It's pretty good, and try the Nutella pizza if you can.
A. P.
Pretty good PIZZA but very busy. There are not too many pizza chooses (from my point of view it is better) but they are delicious. I have been a few months ago the first time and the prices were lower compared last week (prices increased) however nothing bad to say about the pizza. Saturdays are pretty busy so you need to wait 30 45 mins before getting your table. Service is good. A good place to go and I recommend it. Enjoy your sano 🍕 😉
A.
Great place and amazing pizza in great price. The only thing is that line to get in on weekends is long so you might have to wait up to 1 hour......
They also have VEGAN cheese to swap out for mozzarella for no extra charge :)
E. T.
The best pizza place in Dublin. They serve authentic pizza from Naples at very reasonable prices. Ideal for dinner with friends. You can tell how great the pizza is by seeing how busy the place normally is.
G. D.
The food was delicious. Just let me start with that. It's a traditional Italian pizza style where the dough is fired in a very hot oven for a minute or 2 and it's meant to be soft and doughy. It amazing
The venue was sort of cool I guess. But the servers weren't subtle about trying to cram everyone into the window seats (presumably so it would look more busy). If we wanted to change we could have but it was grand. Just odd. The walk to the toilets was very odd though. You walk past the kitchen and there were Tesco bags strewn all over the tables opposite the counter. Open tubs of mushrooms and old boxes of dough. It just looked messy and not where you think your food would come from.
The servers themselves seemed flustered and forgot one of the pizzas we ordered. But they had it to us in about 3 minutes after we asked.
It was nice. Probably caught them on an off day. I'd go again
M. S.
My Italian friend showed me this little gem in Temple bar. Small selection on the menu, reasonably priced, but everything tastes exceptionally good and authentic. The last time i had the pizza quatrostagio - all their ingredients are imported from Naples...and you definitely taste the difference. Best pizza in Dublin!!!
A. V.
One of the better authentic pizza places in Dublin.
Get there early as you can end up with a significant wait for your food because this place is quite popular!
All of their food is pretty good.
The dough is on point, sauce is great, toppings are fresh.
T. W.
Excellent wood fired pizza. Large sizes and at an extremely reasonable price. The food came very quickly and was fresh and tasty. A relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating, pay at the till on your way out.
L. M.
Delicious and so affordable! Perfect for date night or friends. Really lovely and would recommend 😊
P. H.
Great experience today with my 2 kids - 4yrs and 7yrs. Excellent service throughout in being offered connect 4 to keep the kids entertained whilst waiting for the food to arrive, no fuss being made when my youngest knocked over and smashed the chilli oil bottle , and still...the kids got a complimentary ice cream!
Not forgetting..of course, pizzas were first class and bill was very reasonable indeed.
Thank you for a great lunch.
M. M.
The place is nice enough, as are staff. Pizzas are very nice and price point is pretty good. My girlfriend was here before and they didnt have enough gluten free bases for both her and one other friend who was a coeliac. We went here last night and they had no ice cream (ice cream is a feature of almost all desserts they offer and is the only thing a coeliac could eat).
H. D. V.
It is not too expensive, but still I was a little disappointed. The pizza with basil was 1.90 euros more expensive than the same pizza whitout. I got 2 leaves of basil for this extra money. Also beware that they intentionally do not make a crispy bottom. That might or might not be original, but if you expect a crusty bottom, don't go here.
The personell was really friendly.
D. O.
Quite literally the best pizza in Dublin. The smell as you walk into the place is amazing. I've eaten ALOT of pizza, this is by far the greatest. The service could use a bit of work but didn't take away from my overall experience. Will definetly be back very soon.
S. M.
Quick service, tasty food and a good price!
L. A.
Food was delicious and service was great!! Pizza is soft with a chewy crust; very yummy. Food arrived quickly, waitresses were lovely, and everything was reasonably priced. The vibe is relaxed and the music was oldies mix that added a great feel! Highly recommend!!
N. C.
Great place with affordable prices and well-made pizza. The bottom isn't soggy, but crisp and thick, and the ingredients used for the toppings are of a good quality as well. Granted, there can be a bit of a wait when it's busy, but you'll never have to wait long.
A. G.
Some of the best pizza in Dublin! I've been several times now and it doesn't disappoint. Also, make sure to save some room for the whipped ice cream. The affogato is delicious 😋
F. T. L.
My favorite place to go for pizza in Dublin !!
Staff are friendly and kind.
PS: The best sweet pizza ever 🍓
V. M.
One of the best Neapolitan pizza spots in Dublin.
The dough is amazing. Fluffy, consistent, and with that awesome fire oven taste :)
Fair prices as well
S. S.
The pizza is good and once you are seated the service is good too
D. D.
I arrived here for the 1st time 3 wks ago with 2 girlfriends. Well over 21🤣.
Without question the best Pizza place. They dont do bookings, you have to arrive with your whole party to get a table. You wait outside the door(table & 2 chairs) & they call you in when a table becomes available. My god well worth the wait👍.
I will be back, folks.
Fabulous service by the staff.👏👏👏👏👏
I. M.
Simply the best pizza in Dublin at an unbeatable price. Mozzarella on their pizzas is true mozzarella and the ingredients are of very good quality. Please, keep up with the great quality for value. I would recommend this place to everybody.
M. B.
Very good pizza. Like my friend told me typical Napoli style. The only thing that was negative was that the menu was only pizza and nothing else and the waiter service was not so attending, because we were a group and sit in the back part alone. But Price food relation good.
S. S.
I won a pizza for two here after having never being here before and was very pleasantly surprised with my experience, lovely and amazing fresh food, very accommodating. Will definitely be returning
T.
Fast, but I got the wrong pizza. Thnakfully, they quickly got another one
P. D.
Very enjoyable pizzas for delivery, well cooked with nice char, great value too. Only negative was 1 pizza had almost no mozz and other had too much. Would still recommend 👍
J.
Probably the best pizza in Dublin (definitely when it comes to value for money)! Service friendly and super fast, cheap but decent wine,... it's just one of those few "safe" spots in Dublin
G. H.
Always friendly service, good food at very reasonable prices and regular cheese can be swapped out for vegan cheese on any dish. Gets very busy on weekend nights but waiting times for a table are normally quite short. Highly recommended!
R. L.
I am visiting Ireland for the first time ever (from the states). The pizza was light and delicious! It didn't leave you with that iky "I ate too much" feeling. The staff here was also very attentive and friendly !
s. k.
my wife who is Italian loved it! id never heard of this place before but it had good reviews. they weren't lying. super place for pizza. could do with a slightly bigger menu. maybe it was lunchtime bit there was no ragu or carbonara or any pasta option. but all on all well worth it for €25 for the two of us!
D. C.
Amazing neoplotian pizzas in the heart of dublin city. Fantastic food which came out quick despite the hoards at the door. Service was great too Oisin gave us good recommendations and told us about the nutella pizza which was a treat.
J. B.
Great, tasty pizza for an incredible price!
K. M.
Delicious takeaway pizza, as tasty as ones I’ve had in Naples. Great dough and fresh tomato sauce.
B. D.
Delicious delicous pizza and so cheap it's unreal nearly half the price of an average pizza in Dublin but absolutely no compromise on flavour. That pizza crust is perfect. Can't wait to go back
I. D.
One of the best pizzas I have ever had very simular to what I tried in Rome. It looses a star for just seating arrangement and busyness but it is a fantastic pizza and great looking place update this is no. 1 pizza place for me now in dublin.
N.
The pizza was delicious, but the service a bit slow. We waited 20 min for getting a table (understanding), 10 min for order the food, and another 15 minutes for the bill. There were a queue of 5 "tables" waiting... But anyway, the food is delicious so I recommend it if you are not in a rush.
L. K.
Really delicious authentic Italian pizza, especially the Diavola. Nice selection of beers, and friendly, helpful staff. This should be a 5 star review but the tiramisu was SO bad that it was actually shocking. It consisted of a completely solid ladyfinger biscuit at the bottom of a glass with what tasted like squirty cream on top. Gotta up your dessert standard so it matches the amazing quality of the pizza, Sano!
N. U.
Superb pizzas and excellent speedy service
D. L.
Quality Neapolitan style pizzas in Temple Bar area under €10!? This place is really great bang for the buck and if you like Neapolitan pizzas it is the place you need to check out. Will be coming back in the future.
#neapolitan #pizza #cheap
D. O.
Get in here before they realise they are undercharging. Don't be fooled by the price, this team know what they are doing and the pizza is up there with the best in the city. Top 5 for me. Delicious toppings, probably the best mozzarella i've ever had on a pie. Will be in touch to see what the merlot I had there because it was the best I've ever had, hands down.
M. A.
Lovely place, lovely pizza, I've enjoyed it so much.
D. L.
Great prices, friendly staff and delicious food 💪😎
E. A.
Affordable prices. 7€ for a pizza is a great price for Dublin. The atmosphere was very cool and relaxed. Service was quick. The pizza was good but not great.
D. M.
Pizzas are poor, only some mushrooms from brine and a few pieces of ham bread was not baked enough. Taste was still good. Waitress excellent.
D. P.
Honestly some of the best pizza available in the city. Cannot recommend highly enough, would encourage anyone to try out the Diavola. Always been too full to try the dessert but they have a Nutella pizza which looks very appetising
I. c.
Pizza was absolutely lovely for the price. Arrived at the table really fast, the base and the crust were squishy deliciousness. Very quiet and tucked away with it being so close to temple bar too.
B. B.
Cheap pizzas and amazing quality. Also they have Nutella pizzas
A. N.
Oh what a pizza! Absolutely loved it. So fresh, flavorful and good quality. And very decent prices, great value for money. Service was quick with a smile and very efficient.
H. G. C.
Pizzas are nice. The back room was kind of unattended by the staff - took a while until they took our order. indeed, some other guys got there later than us, waited as well and they were the ones who had to search someone to get their order. Ours was after so we had to wait a little bit more.
C. B.
Best Italian pizza in Dublin, same like in italy. At really low Low prices!!
Fresh ingredients coming just from italy, just italians artisans making it freshly under your eyes, traditional wood- owen to bake it, unforgettable real italian taste: what more?
Incredibile cheap prices, nothing similar in Dublin for such top quality.
Just in the middle of Temple Bar area. ;-)
S. M.
Probably the best pizza I've ever had in Dublin, can't wait to go back! Only let-down is the staff. Very slow, inattentive service. But the food is completely worth it.
M. D.
Lovely place with great Pizza and affordable.
D. Z.
Great pizza, very good prices 👌
R. M.
Really good pizza ...great choice of beers .....However, the deserts were not great ...the Passionfruit Tirimisu was made with what tasted like long life (synthetic cream) ...it was not good ...the pear and almond tart looked and tasted like it had been in a fridge for ages... and at its thickest was only 2 fingers wide ...
Great Pizza ..forget about the deserts !!!!
V. D. R.
I go there at least once per month to feel again the taste of the real Neapolitan pizza. Sano Pizza is the best about the quality and about the prices in Dublin.
I. G.
It's a nice place for pizza. It's bigger than it looks. Groups of 10 can easily seat in one of their big tables. The service is quick enough and the staff is very friendly. There's wheelchair entrance.
P. Y.
One of the best pizza in the city. You can order gluten free, vegetarian and also pizza with nutella. I love the tables and I love that there is an olive oil with chili on every table and you can just pure how much you want on the pizza. There are desserts aswell.
C. M.
Best value pizza in Dublin city I've tried!
L. S.
The best italian pizza in dublin!!!
d. b.
Good pizza, good value and nicely decorated
M. M.
I was shown this place by an Italian lad. It was very good and they even served us at 5 to 10
R. K.
Lovely pizza, you can't go much wrong with whichever option you go for.
P. M. H. S.
Delicious southern Italy style pizza for a great price. Can get very busy so be prepared for it before you visit.
M. T.
I liked it, one of my dining company did not. It depends on how you like to eat your pizza, do you roll it or do you eat it like toast. Iam a roll man therefore I am a sano man. Some people aren't and I accept that
R. J.
I discovered Sano pizza while we were in lockdown and I fall in love with their pizzas. PLEASE order the garlic bread with cheese cause it is the best in the whole World.
J. L.
The best pizza in Dublin. Perfect neopolitan style dough, great ingredients. Giant neon sign on the wall warning people that they don't have pineapple.
N. D.
Food is nice and affordable. Perhaps the atmosphere is overly relaxed...
Our waitress was not good at her job. Slow and inattentive service - everyone who arrived to the restaurant after us had received their meal before us! She never asked how the food was or if there was anything else we wanted. It seemed like we were being ignored/ had been forgotten about. It's a shame that this restaurant is let down by the floor staff
C. V.
Really nice Italian restaurant. The pizzas are amazing and the staff is so friendly. We will come back for sure! Thank you guys! 🍕❤️
A. G.
Molto bravi 👏💥. Value on Price : just PERFECT.
B. M.
Great food and friendly staff. Worth ever penny
C. G.
Just had the best pizza .....base is amazing ...toppins so fresh and top quality ingredients.
Really trendy pizzeria.. great staff..and best of all is the price!!!. Highly recommend...you won't be disappointed .
C. B.
The best pizza in Dublin City Centre. Try Rucola pizza and Menabrea beer, it's a perfect fit. Also, the price is cheap and a great environment
J. C.
Came here for a bite with friends from work. Pizza was unreal, probably the nicest in dublin ive had so far and the nutella pizza hits the spot for dessert! Oisin served us and was top class!
E. F.
Excellent pizza, fresh and genuine ingredients and reasonable prices. Service is poor and slow (45min wait for a pizza). Unfortunately they seem to prioritize deliveroo or uber eats customers over customers in store.
S. M.
Really great! Service was 10/10 thanks to Mateo. Food was delicious and price is great.
M. S.
Great option for pizza in Dublin. They have a great range of pizzas and they are awesome, price is really good and staff is always nice. Really recommend this place!
T. M.
Came with work colleagues from Edinburgh. Fantastic food and great service, will definitely come again. Pizzas are really tasty and staff happy to bespoke your order.
J. B.
Love the pizza.. big enough to share if you're not super hungry.. good atmosphere, nearly always busy :)
J. O.
Delicious pizza, not too busy and covid precautions are well handled. Staff are lovely and great place for a first date
D. m.
nice spot. the pizza i got was lovely (although the "italian brocolli" which was on it, was like cabbage/spinach but that was MY error, but it was still delish). the diavola(?!) was tasty too!! also had the tirimisu and it was delishious!! would go back (I will say the middle of the pizza was a little wet but i wouldnt hold that against them....sitting on a ceramic plate can make your base go soggy)
R. M.
One of the best pizza in town
And one of my favourite
Congrats
Keep it same way
l. v.
Really good Italian pizza. Good value as well. Service could be a bit better, but u guess you can't have it all
J. R.
Excellent food and staff. Definitely coming back
G. W.
Tasty pizzas and friendly staff. Good value too
P. S.
Best authentic Italian pizza in Dublin. And good value for money too.
S. Z.
One of the best traditional Italian pizzas in town! Excellent price! And coffee is soooooo good!
F. P.
Very good Italian pizza for being in Dublin
C. S.
Cheap, very friendly staff and overall a joy to be there. Very comfortable/relaxed environment.
n. g.
Price/quality are one of the best in Dublin.
Some times, depending on the pizzaiolo the pizza can be different. I hope they will improve the quality
M. L.
One of the best Italian pizzeria I’ve ever been to in Dublin. Great staff, great price and wonderful location. One of my fav ones. Surely recommend it.
S. B. S.
Very good pizza in a real Neapolitan style. Affordable price. Definitely one of the best pizzeria in Dublin
T. g.
Amazing pizza at this place, typical neapolitan pizza, the best in Dublin. Service was excellent and fast, the quality of products used is second to none
5 stars well deserved
M. B.
Best place for a good and fair price meal. Just love this place.
m. B.
Excellent!!! In all ways, food quality, service, tiramisù was exquisite, could say the best torta della nonna (true Italian one) ever tasted, true Carpigiani gelato!!! And profiteroles at the same height!! No wonder it is full of Italians all the time, that is the best proxy
G. H. (. 2. B.
After nearly four failed attempts because it was so busy I finally got to try Sano Pizza it was a Tuesday not so busy. Friendly service and delicious hand made pizzas for a very reasonable price.
I. G.
Best place in Dublin to eat pizza, and cheap!
J. W.
I bring everyone here. Little slice of italy is here and it makes me so happy i see and hear italian and I get to eat the best italian pizza made by italian pizza chefs. The experience with staff and the being in Sano is FIVE STAR ALWAYS. I am a SANO FAN. Tasty pizza and great menu✌
D. A.
After reading so many positive reviews and as we were looking for an authentic delicious italian pizza, we tried this place and it surprised us a lot!
All other pizza restaurants in Dublin are a joke compared to this place.
M. D.
Very good Italian pizza. Good prices, typical Italian style food. Booking in advance is preferable as the place is always busy
g. f.
My daughter and I popped in Tuesday and it was amazing, staff professional, but pizza was just beautiful, best I've tasted outside of Italy. Hope to visit again.
D. S.
Authentic neapolitan pizza for under a tenner in temple bar? You must be joking! Or not. The pizza is spot on and you feel like you have just stolen it such is the value here. Check it out.
J. F.
Just got a delivery due to current circumstances. Was sceptical but it arrived in perfect time. Food was fabulous. Would recommend the meat antipasto. Will definitely order again.
L. B.
Really good pizza. The flavours and consistency is truly italian. Plus, the prices are very good.
I suggest getting the Torta della Nonna for dessert 😉
J. R.
Very Nice Place to eat! 7 bucks for an Original neapolitan pizza that was one of the best i ever ate! Very friendly staff too. 100% recommended
L.
Benchmarked it with other parts of UK. It hits 5 stars. So good and value for $$
C. C.
Best pizza in Dublin, amazing staff!
G. M.
Really good pizza, Napolitan way, thin and soft. Well done, by person from Naples ;)
M. B.
Excellent pizza. Attentive staff. Fast service. Good value. A good find in central Dublin!
N. F.
One of the best pizza places around
G. M.
Great Italian pizza at an even better price, but sometimes slow on service - so be prepared to wait a bit longer for your food. Highly recommended.
L. k.
Delicious, fresh pizza with amazing cheese and tomato sauce. One of the best you can get in Dublin.
R. Y.
The pizza here lives up to the expectation, although the crust could have been better. It was the good ol Italian type, but too dry for my tatse
L. A. Z. M.
I loved the place! The menu has options for everybody (vegan, spicy, vegetarian, etc.), the style is pretty original and has enough tables for you not to queue. The prices are very good as well!
k.
The place is very comfy and nice, but the pizza I expected more plus the staff are kind of unpleasant, every moments trying make us get something. I was there only 10 min and the waitress asked me three times if I was ready to order...
C. B.
Nice food, very reasonable for the location and nice atmosphere
G. B.
Pizza is really nice, nice toppings, reasonable prices. Too bad one cannot reserve but the place is big enough that the queue is never too long.
y. a.
Tasty pizza for good price.
C. D.
Stumbled onto this restaurant with my girlfriend. Huge restaurant with a converted basement. The wooden fired pizza 10/10. So happy with this meal. Price is reasonable as well.
J. R.
Great pizzas at very reasonable prices for the city centre. Good atmosphere, really busy when I was there. Seems to be very popular.
A. S.
Best pizza in Dublin city center. I always go there when I crave for pizza, highly recommended.

No dips available. I can understand that if the crust has taste. This doesn't, actually tastes like Brennans bread. Shame because the toppings are really good quality.

Best pizza in Dublin. I have been multiple times and have tried most of the pizzas on the menu, never left disappointed. Unbeatable value.

What a place. Real Italian pizza, I come here every Friday usually.
Italian staff and always super busy. Make sure to book a table or you might wait for 40 minutes outside.

Apparently the best pizza in dublin according to local Italian recommendations. I was thrilled to say the least. Tiramisu could be more authentic though..

Simple, proper Italian, tasty and definitely disruptive for all other Dublin pizzaries. Absolutely recommend for dinner with friends! Simple and super tasty!!!

Amazjng Pizzeria! I recommend the 4 doughs plus ingredients to make your pizzas at home for 20€.

I loved the place, very cosy and friendly. The staff is very helpful, everyone had the caution to see if everything was ok with my order. Mostly Luisa, who was kind all the time I stayed in the restaurant. The food and the price are also excellent.

Best pizza naples style in Dublin. Il manifesto is the only other pizza if you want the real thing.

The best pizza I've had in Dublin and really reasonably priced. It's always busy so we try to visit during off peak times!

Really enjoyed the pizza, could have had more spicy salami on it but wouldn't stop me from going back there! 🍕😊

Very good pizza for its price. Reminded me of Napoli! Not exactly "la vera pizza napoletana" but close. The Sapori del Sud was great!

They do a very good pizza, not the best, but definitely one of the best places to get a good one, the venue is nice and the prices are very low compared to the Dublin's standards

Great value for money, not the best place in the world for pizza 🍕 but they are also quite cheap and the portions are huge !! So I would highly recommended it especially for large groups!!
