Great place for a Indian food. Its in the heart of the city. Pre-booking is a good option because it easily get busy in the evening. Staffs are friendly and most speak English. Indian instrumental background music played, its nice. In terms of the space, it's bit tiny, but it's okay. Food is really good. Waiting time is around 15 to 20mins. I would recommend this place.

Was visiting Dublin from the U.S. for the first time and friends took me here for lunch. I had the non-veg thali, non-spicy, while my friends had the veg thali super spicy. The meal was fresh, and not spicy as requested. The textures were very palatable, and presentation of the food was clean and visually appealing. The atmosphere was quiet, yet cozy, perhaps as we arrived at the end of lunch rush. I enjoyed trying this for the first time and would definitely eat this again. I would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin, or those looking for a great Indian meal.

Overall very nice food and ambience , I didn't set very high expectations as I have been in UK for sometime and being an Indian have eaten in many so called Indian restaurant. I judge the quality of an Indian restaurant by the number of Indian visitors. This had a few, which is difficult to come by in Dublin(no offence). The food here was exceptional and the speed of service was very quick to such quality food. Great service and good food. I was looking for a place to eat in Dublin around 10 PM so I ended up in this restaurant. I like Indian cuisine, so the naan and rice were very good and I also took the recomendation of the waiter for the main course, it was very tasty, but be careful, it is always wise to talk to the staff before ordering because the food is kinda spicy. Overall the food was great and the owner and staff very kind.

Ordered food for my boyfriend and I to be delivered through the restaurant website. I called ahead first with a query and the gentleman on the phone was very polite and helpful. I live about 5km from the restaurant and the food came within 30mins which I found to be very prompt and much quicker than other restaurants within the same proximity. I ordered the vegetarian korma and my boyfriend had the vegetarian balti. Both came with pilau rice and we also ordered poppadoms and naan. To our surprise a complimentary vegetarian pakora was also added which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and we could not find any fault with it. We enjoy Indian cuisine so have tried quite a few restaurants for takeaway around the city and found this restaurant to be the best we have had so far. The food was very authentic and the service was great. However the Kebab rolls that my friends ordered unfortunately was not nice as the dough was not cooked properly and tasted of flour. On the other hand the food my partner and I had was lovely and tasty. Very authentic, great spices used and my mango lassie was fabulous!!

We were in the Temple Bar area at about 8 pm on a Friday and saw this restaurant and we entered. To our dismay, we were told we could not be accommodated since the place was booked out and we didn't even have a reservation. We were starving and being Indians, we had put high hopes on having dinner here. When we were about to leave, the manager somehow arranged some chairs and a table out of nowhere and asked us if we could manage. Of course, we could! We were so thankful to him for accommodating us! And yeah, the food was awesome!

This was the best Indian meal I’d had for a very long time (and I eat a lot of Indian food). I had onion bhaji as starter, and chicken passanda as main course. Both dishes were excellent, as was the service.

Summary: I would say this is an expensive takeaway quality restaurant. There are far superior Indian restaurants to eat in and actually feel like you are dining out. Wouldn't come back. Went here for a Saturday night dinner as I was craving some spicy food. Have to say the restaurant itself is a little pokey in size and when the door is opened, there is a breeze that comes in. As there is nowhere else for customers to stand, it's likely you will have quite a few people throughout the night hovering near your table waiting to be seated. We actually asked for a table as far away from the door as possible but they said the area was reserved for a large table. Interestingly, while we were there, it seemed as though they just seated parties of two. On to the food - I told the waiter I was looking for something really spicy and I'm not sure he understood what I meant often telling me that the chef could make it milder for me if I wanted.. I ended up ordering a tandoori chicken madras which was listed as very hot but was pretty mild in my books and not really to my taste. In fact, I don't think the chicken was cooked in a tandoor. When I told the waiter I thought it would be more spicy, he told me to order raita, again misunderstanding that I wanted it very spicy. When I said "No, I wanted it MORE spicy" he just laughed and said, "No I think that's okay". Hmm not great customer service. My partner ordered the lamb rogan josh which had a lot more flavour. Garlic naan was fine but I suspect not cooked in a tandoor either. The fried rice was actually pretty good and very similar to what I have had in India. Got a gulab jamun for dessert which is my favourite Indian dessert but the flavour was sickly sweet and lacking the subtle spice aroma. Overall disappointing and I wouldn't come back. I would order this food for a takeaway but not at the sky high prices they charge. Between a 2-3 stars for me.

As a lover of Indian food and in particular Vegetarian Food all my needs were met. I love rich paneer dishes and OMG Lemon Rice (you must try it) and they did not disappoint. My friends were all meat eaters and were absolutely satisfied. I even made them try the lemon rice (I can't believe no-one knows about this) so everyone was very happy. I asked for a desert with a candle for my friends birthday, without any notice and they happily obliged...and...did not charge us for it, which was really thoughtful. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I look forward to returning and would definitely recommend. Thumbs up!

Flavor was very good, we both got chefs specials. I got the sizzling duck but with chicken instead and my husband got a coconut curry duck. Both had amazing flavors!! The duck was our favorite though. The garlic naan is awesome just need to add a little salt. The rice was fresh and the restaurant was very clean. The only bummer was that the duck was half fat since they left the skin on. So it looks much bigger than it really was. The service was great as well and we loved the ambiance. All in all it was a bit pricey since the chefs specials don't come with any rice or naan on the side.

I am a vegetarian so my choices are usually pretty limited in restaurants but I had a Sagg Aloo here and it was delicious! For a medium it seemed a bit hot but the waiter brought me over some yogurt in case with no issue whatsoever. The service was excellent and in temple bar was definitely value for money considering the price of the area! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

(Translated) We had the best dinner in Dublin at this restaurant. Again the butter chicken and tandori chicken. The cheese naan was finger-licking e the butter chicken was perfect in the spices. The mango lassi was a little less, but the taste of the food made up for it. If the opportunity arises, we would be happy to visit again.
