A. D.A nice pub located in Santry near Omni Shopping Centre. I found it good that this establishment checked covid certs upon entry and I found the staff to be very helpful throughout. I ordered garlic bread with cheese for starter and the grilled chicken burger for main course. The garlic bread was nice and tasty. The grilled chicken burger had all the trimmings present and it came with chips. The chips could have been a small bit hotter.
Overall a positive experience and I would recommend a trip. A good venue to watch sport too.

Overall i love a stringy cheesy pizza and this aint that. Its average for me.
€16 is yet another example of rip off ireland. This is a pub pizza and should be a tenner.

We were told we could order a pizza. The waitress was very pleasant. The pizza was okay, keeping in perspective that it is "bar food".

They also serve food daily at great prices and a great selection, a special mention to their wood stove pizzas. Also plenty of parking around the premises and situated next door to a centra, paddy powers and an offo. There is an aib bank machine at the entrance.

I. I.Nice food in local pub. It has lovely and amazing photos of Dublin airport and Irish aviation history in the walls, that makes to those like me, that work in the aviation industry, a very special place to go for lunch, a pint, or watch sports on the screen sorrounded of a lovey crowd!
C. H.Our first choice for after work drinks closest to Santry. Inside and outside area for smokers. They have a heated bench outside which keeps you warm. Big screen which is on when there is a game. Pub quiz on Fridays. Typical pub vibe. Service is okay. Menu has Irish grub.

A. F.The Comet has recently began serving food. Home made pizza and pies. The food is of a decent quality and very enjoyable.
They need to work on the service. We visited on a Thursday evening and all off the food came out at different times. The last two pizzas taking an hour to arrive and one of them needing to be sent back for missing pepperoni.
EDIT: Pizza guy seems to have somewhat sorted the attitude out.
Overall an ok experience but clearly not reaching for excellence. Most of the staff are as top notch (with the exception of smirking Billy on the pizza counter who is new)
In particular, the off license manager is very professional and runs that part of the business very well. He will go out of his way to source you anything you need and is open to feedback also.
Not impressed that they seem OK letting people out with drinks in their hands at closing time. The amount of times I have found pint glasses in the front garden..
Summary, sort out the attitude at the pizza counter, find out why orders are taking so long to fulfill and maybe engage with the local community in a more positive way.

A. H.Nice pub, very similar to a typical Sports Bar in the US. Except, the giant TV projector shows soccer, and cricket. Large food portions, the burgers, and Fish&Chips are excellent. Beer is on draft, glasses are filled above the measuring line. The place doesn't take credit cards, however, there is an ATM just outside the building. The Comet is located just a few feet from a bus stop for bus lines 1,16,33,41. Ask the bus driver to stop at "The Comet", and s/he knows where to stop.

t.I don't generally care about cleanliness, but when the cutlery comes so sticky the napkin leaves bits behind on the metal, it's time to fix your dishwasher.
5€ a pint for guiness, 12€ for fish pie 13€ for fish and chips. It felt a bit steep, but the food was pretty decent and good serving sizes.
By 5:30 on Sunday, a good chunk of the menu items were out. No Sunday roast, no wings, 1 last piece of cod, menu gets sparse before dinner starts...
