Really nice staff! They are bang on 👌 The Guinness was perfect and they even have a non-alcoholic cider which I've never seen before! Great option for people not wanting to consume alcohol. Really cool décor! Make sure to take a minute (or 20) to go round and look at all the photos from over the years! This pub is packed full of history!

I'm visiting the town and stopped by for a pint on a fair day. It's a very interesting old bar with a definite music theme. I'm told David Bowie played here. Friendly and efficient staff there are actually a couple of bars here, and a somewhat isolated room for several with a table as well. Great place for a pint in Clonikilty.

One of the most iconic pubs/music venue's in the country. This is a must visit if you are in the area. Live music most nights (I think) and the atmosphere is absolutely electric. Wide choice of drinks too. I had the Guinness and smithwicks, which were really really good. Friendly staff too, and helpful.

Lovely quaint pub with nice features in the ceiling. Good food with lovely coffee . Rugby, soccer and GAA matches shown here. Atmosphere not too busy during the day which is nice if your after a meal and a chat. Reasonably priced with plenty of seating.

De Barras is always buzzing with the most interesting people. The bar tenders are friendly and always there to help. The bar has 3 sections. The front the back and the beer garden. You will quite often find a live gig in action upon walking in. It is a popular spot for tourists and just about anyone is welcome. The atmosphere very welcoming and accepting. The bar takes both cash and card. There is a wide variety of drinks and if your not sure what you want, a quick description should do it for the bartender.

Monday night music sessions are fantastic in this very famous pub. If you can sing and/or play you'll be invited to join in. Everything from jigs and reels to sea shanties can be heard each night. Not to be missed!

Had a couple of pints in here with a buddy. Famous bar for music and I can see why! Opens up to a very large area out the back. Was in there to watch Ryder Cup in the afternoon and even then there was a good crowd in there already "half cut!" That particular crowd got a bit argumentative which only added a bit of colour and spice to the afternoon and they were soon moved on by experienced staff. Some very famous bands and individuals have played here over the years and would love to see a concert here. Bar is full of paraphernalia and history and a must visit for anyone in the area.

An institution in music. I mean how many pubs can claim that Noel Redding played there every Friday night for yonks and Paddy Keenan used to sit session here? It's been a while but they're back and the sessions are happening, the pints are great (so I'm told by those who know) and it was lovely singing a tune or two, three...

Famous music venue in middle of Clonakilty town Only visited in day so didn’t catch any music Nice place inside very atmospheric and dark with lots of music memrobilia from artists who have played Including Noel Reddings bass of Jimi Hendrix experience from when he lived in clonakilty and played here regularly Worth a stop off for anyone interested in music

Very famous and really authentic Irish pub with folk music and modern bands and Irish soul. I've enjoyed all time I spent there. Very pleasant and helpful staff coupled with a good service and great ambiance will make you a regular guest of this place. Anyone must visit the place when in Clonakilty.

You can’t go to West Cork without visiting this iconic bar. It’s one of the archetypal bars that the faux Irish bars in England try to copy - but authentic!!

Being with our children, we came too early to enjoy the atmosphere. However we saw the two music groups setting up, which was already nice :) The welcome and service were excellent! (Even when my daughter spilled her entire drink 😂) No possibility of eating on site
