Amazing atmosphere with sports memorabilia all over the walls. Quaint building but there's plenty of room to enjoy yourself. It's right across the street from the Kilkenny Castle, switch also is a must visit.

Visited Kilkenny from the U.S. in early July. Loved it! What a spot! I did not eat while visiting here, but I had an incredible time at this place. I'll be back!!!

Fantastic bar!!! So much fun. The decor is a sports enthusiast dream. The trio which played was great. From singing Hotel California to the traditional Irish songs, they sang without missing a beat. The lead singer, was not only beautiful but had such a impressive voice. Bravo..... The bartender was also very cool with the nicest bar patriots ever.

Met sally and John on Saturday night after the Katie Taylor fight in a pub I manage in Dublin City centre. 2 of the nicest people I have ever come across. They made me feel welcome in my own pub 🤣 cannot wait to go down to visit theirs. Lovely to meet you both. Was a pleasure.

This was a fantastic place to visit and see the local culture. We were there on a Friday before dinner and there was a lively duo playing music and the place felt vibrant. Some people got up to dance too. We got a goat cheese and bread dish and it was really fantastic. They melted it on top of toasted fresh bread and served it with a pesto and a berry sauce. It has been my favorite started in Ireland so far!

Killkennys number 1 hot-spot for the craic agus ceol. Service is exceptionally fast, and the food is delicious. Love this place. 💜

Popped in here with the missus while we were waiting to check into our hotel. The minute we walked in we felt welcomed. Its a traditional style pub with sports pictures (every sport you can imagine) hanging up on the walls and ceiling. The staff were friendly. We decided to get food in here too, and the food was top notch. Proper traditional food.

A lovely old bar with a variety of pictures on ceiling and walls. Beer was great and served at table but the craic was mighty. The group playing all the old songs and stories were brilliant. No amplification needed. . Certainly worth a visit, next time to try the food.

Tiny hole in the wall with a great, true Irish atmosphere. Food is surprisingly good for pub food. Great entertainment that Starts early and goes late. A must try in Kilkenny. We saw "Wrong Direction" very fun - and Rob Strong play the night we were here. Locals welcome visitors here.

Great food - huge portions with fast and friendly service and great times. We got to experience the authentic Kilkenny culture that we were looking for. John and his staff are so hospitable and welcoming. It's such a small world - we are from NH and his wife worked for a Summer at Hart's Turkey Farm in NH. We will definitely be back.

Cute, quaint pub offering good food, cold pints and good service despite it being quite busy. There was no lamb stew available, I was very disappointed but we enjoyed the chowder instead. Listened to some live music and chatting with others visiting the area.

Great spot on a Tuesday night and would really recommend it as Rob Strong who is the father of a Member from The Commitments Band still does a once a week gig and really knows how to entertain the audience and is a good musician aswell

Food was outstanding! We stopped in Kilkenny for lunch on our drive from Dublin to Cork. Lovely town, did some shopping and seen some sites. Came across this place and decided to give it a go. Glad we did!

Had a fantastic time there. Two musicians played music to cater to many in the crowd. They would ask where you are from and play a song relative to there. Locals made it very festive.

It has a very good location, is in the heart of Kilkenny, and friendly staff. Unfortunately food isn't tasty, the chicken wings just dipped in cold sauce, and the chowder was full of tomatoes instead pieces of sea food.

Visited on a Friday pub crawl in Kilkeny and I have to say great. Two guys on guitars were just playing Irish songs and the whole pub was singing, luckily we squeezed through to the bar, so there was something to drink too...we met a few people and a shot for dating and a little alcohol "brilliant" English really great experience
