P. O. D.My husband and l were driving around yesterday looking for an outdoor dining. As we were passing Ma Fitzs .We happened to stop and asked was there any free table for us both. This very kind Waiter checked and was back to us in seconds to say come in now ,as he had got a seat for us. The service was fantastic and staff very friendly and the meal was beautiful . I would recommend this place and hopefully we will be coming here again soon.

L. R.I cannot say enough of good things about this place. Its an absolute gem between Cork and Killarney for food. Breakfast and dinners are delicious and it's a family run business which is a plus. The staff are so friendly and sweet, always so welcoming. Definitely have to try it out yourself. You won't find anywhere much better.

J. B.Passed by on the N22 and was always curious. Today was the day and was glad I did. It was an exceptional experience. I felt welcome from the start and the staff was friendly and attentive. I received a massive plate of delicious food. Ingredients appeared to be very fresh and well prepared. My only complaint was that I could have used a second person to help me finish my plate. Can't wait to bring back my family.
N. B.Absolutely gorgeous food, wide choice to choose from. Fast and efficient service. Nice staff too. You wont be disappointed with the food. They also have a good variety for children and they do half portions too. The toilets are clean and they have a mobility toilet too. Ample parking around the pub. Food served until 9pm.
Only down side was we weren't asked if we needed anything else or how was our food like other tables were. We were asked if we wanted dessert as the guy cleared our table after main course.

K. C.Excellent restaurant. Went there for my Dad's 70th birthday at his suggestion. The menu was well priced with plenty of options as well as several specials. I went for the chicken curry half and half and loved it. The portion sizes were huge and we were well stuffed by the end of it. Would 100% recommend going to Mai Fitzs :)

The menu is varied and full of locally produced and sourced food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available for groups and individuals as well as a quiet stop for a cup of coffee or pint.
N. S.Amazingly delicious homemade food! I don't know what to praise more - bread, soup, tendernes of the meat or desert. The best restaurant we've eaten in a long time. I should not forget attentive, friendly and professional staff while they're running between full tables. The place was full when we got there, yet we got seated quite qickley and just as quickly got served these amazing dishes. Thank you for this beautiful experience, we will definitely be back :)

P. 9.This place was recommended to me so I paid a visit early in the afternoon. I ordered the chicken ciabatta, which was served with a small salad and fries. The roll was full of grilled chicken and stuffing, and it was delicious. I ordered tea, which was served in a decent size teapot containing 3 good size cups of tea. I enjoyed the visit, the quality of the food, the staff and the place were excellent.

However, the turkey and ham sitting on mashed potato which I had on that day was average to say the best about it. Very little flavour and the portion is as you see in the photo....small and all potato!!

Couldn't find one fault about this place the service was quick the staff extremely friendly even towards the young kids food was first class and came in large portions for everyone. Great value for money. Would highly recommend Mai Fitzs to everyone we know who will be down this side of Cork. We would definitely call back here again.

(9th oct 2919 )Been back a couple of times since and had good meals on each occasion so I've upgraded from 3 to 4 star based on the restaurant delivering what it sets out to deliver ie a good plate of food served up quickly at a good price in a pub bar setting. Plenty of well trained young staff who are polite, helpful and efficient.
