Nice location on the banks of the Shannon. Good varied menu. Busy at lunch time. Drop a star as hot drinks ended up cold by the time the food was served. Will be back soon again.

I think words cannot express how happy we were with a food at this place!! Everything was so fresh, so tasty, so rich in flavour and perfectly spiced! We ordered 3 meals and a dessert and I can't decide which one was better. I even bought bread from them because I never had a bread that tasted so good in my life! :) Can't wait to come some other time and try something else. Well done Beans and Leaves!

Nice and yummy!! We had Fish & Chips, Pulled Chicken Burger, Victorian Pink Lemonade, something sweet with Strawberry and hard egg foam. All so delicious, that I forgott to take pictures of it. The next day we had breakfast - also very delicious and more than enough! Highly recommended.

A real treat! We came here via a recommendation from the staff at the Sheraton Hotel. On a sunny day we had wonderful coffee and delicious warm cake while gazing over the Shannon river. This spot is humble, but it delivers a punch.

Always amazing service, super friendly staff, great with kids. Food is amazing. Loads of vegetarian options. The atmosphere is really lovely. Safety wise they have screens and plenty of space between table, all stafd wearing the proper gear and younsee them constantly keeping the place clean while making you feel at ease. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely little cafe serving a wide variety of foods, the service is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting Athlone stop at Beans and Leaves for a bite to eat.

Nice place, doing well with social distancing and keeping everyone safe. Our server was wearing a face shield and seemed well protected which was great to see. Menu items were however listed as having certain things in them but came missing half the ingredients. Probably just a busy day but would have liked to have been told so I could change my order. My family and I really loved the wide selection of the menu seeing as we are vegan and vegetarian it's normally quite difficult but not here. The view from upstairs overlooking the river Shannon is great. The servers were patient and helpful even when they were very busy.

Had an outdoor lunch yesterday (06/05/'18) sitting in sun and enjoying the beautiful food, scenery of our River Shannon in Athlone, and of course, great company 😘. A super selection of Fresh Organic food with lots of Veggie options. Large portions. Car park beside Cafe. Staff were good n helpful. Garlic Mushrooms 🍄🍄🍄 Salad was fab! Veg Curry was delish - the chickpeas did it for me! I will def be back there and I look forward to it. Highly recommended.
