I went with my family. They have Arabian and Asian dishes. We ordered Mediterranean Chicken, Chicken Shashlik Kebab, Malaysian Noodles and spicy chicken burger. All the dishes we ordered were awesome and tasted really good. The restaurant ambience was good and are family friendly. They have a wonderful and friendly staff.

Love the food here, usually go for a tasty kebab, but there are a great choice of dishes, can't fault the price either. Service is always great. One thing I have to give out about it is the ridiculously heavy platter style plates they use, they are terribly heavy, shouldn't expect hard working staff to carry these around!

The waiters were nice & helpful. I ordered Garlic and Chilli Chicken with rice. The flavour of the sauce was lovely but the chicken tasted a bit hard and the rice were half cold. Otherwise hubby enjoyed his steak and chips.

Charcoal Grill is one place I would go for really good food! The food tasted fresh and was so delicious. Very hard to find fault in this place. The staff was super friendly, the place was cozy and clean and of course the food was well prepared. I would very much recommend this place!

This menu ! Indian oriental Italian steaks burgers .we had 5 different starters all different genres and 5 main courses .all of which were beautifully presented. Very tasty and extremely reasonably priced ...there is no wine or beer but you can bring your own .staff super nice and the restaurant really nicely laid out. Worth a visit .

Arrived in Athlone and Goggled up places to eat, came across Charcoal Grill with an extensive menu to choose from was hard to pick but l got the 4 lamb chops which was delicious and my partner got yogurt chicken kebab which tasted as good, had two derserts also , prices were very reasonable for what we got,the staff looked after us extremely well so helpful and friendly(they never stopped)we definitely will be back 🙂

Great food, good value and good service. Lamb filet steak is my favorite on their menu. Lamb biriany wad good also if you want something a little spicy. Prices seem to be fair. Only minus / lost star comes because cash is only payment option. Cards are not accepted. Location is ok if you are staying in the center of Athlone, really anything in Athlone is within walking distance.

Visited for the first time today. Very friendly serving staff to greet you and seat you. Plenty of seats and very comfortable. A great menu with plenty to suit all palates and tastes. We had lasagne and chicken shiklish kebab ad both were excellent. Very tasty. I will definitely be coming back again soon and try some other tasty dish or two. Nice place to have a fast meal, specially at lunch time. For the price you pay the food is OK. They have always some plates in promotion during the day. I specially liked the lasagna and the skewers. The steak is very good (usually not included in the promotions). The staff is very nice too.

The food is nice although as a vegetarian looking at the walls only to see large pictures of meat dishes upsets the appetite, the staff also seem slightly untrained as when ordering a starter and main course I was asked as well as my company what order we wanted the food to be brought out. Great food here for a very good price, we weren't waiting too long for our main course although the drinks were not brought out until just before our mains arrived. The service was not bad but could be better. I put it down to inexperience as tge staff were young, hopefully they improve over time. Overall the restaurant was clean, the food was great and the prices were very fair.

Best Steaks on the Island. It would be worth it if you even drive over an hour to get to Athlone & try their Steaks and burgers. The staff is always helpful and friendly. You have to make a stop if you're travelling between from Dublin to Galway/Sligo. Full marks!

A wonderful little find after a day of driving and touring Athlone. While you won't find beer on the menu you will find the lamb seasoned to perfection and plenty of spice. You will surely want to save room for dessert. (Try the Banoffee Pie, or the Trifle...which was sold out when I dined there.)
