J. P.I love this place for brush or lunch. I don’t know how they do it, food is served canteen style on trays, but it still feel stylish.
Food is tasty and portions good. Nice seating indoor and outdoor area.

P. B.Beautiful dining room. Sausages excellent and generous serve. Delicious smashed avocado, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon. Bacon either overcooked or not sufficiently fatty to be tasty.
Coffee OK but slightly bitter. Good decaf.

T.Lovely place for lunch or a coffee,but you need to book especially at lunchtime. staff were helpful and the food was good ,had the hake which I'd recommend.the only down side was the desert. got the Eton mess but it wasn't in a glass, all ingredients we were put on a plate separately and left like that,not mixed together as normal ,meringue was also too hard ,pity. A. L.Excellent, fresh food. Perfectly prepared roasted halibut. This is the only place that I could find halibut and I was not disappointed. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. Order the pitcher of lemonade too. It's lovely. You can only get the halibut through the week and it's probably seasonal.

I have serious food allergies and they went to huge trouble to accommodate my dietary requirements including having a dish not on the menu prepared especially. The staff were all polite and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Check out pricing and menus on any French menu way to go. We are being ripped off in Ireland. Shame on the idiots who think smart people go here they don't.

G.massively over priced for what it is. salt in monkstown is much better. the portion size between the 2 is ridiculous. salts presentation of food is much better, they give the impression they care more about how they plate it up in salt than they do in the fern house. Quite possibly because they charge a service charge they don't really care about the service they offer in Fern house( a lot of the time you get the impression staff don't want to be there and they are just going through the motions) staff in salt couldn't do more than enough for you they have much better attention to detail they don't charge a service charge so I don't know if that makes them more inclined to engaged with customers to ensure they get a tip? however they do an amazing job and give off the impression they are now interested in their customers experience. I also don't understand tyre logic of the portions in The fern house ordering poached eggs and toast foot get THREE eggs and one slice of toast??? what's that about would love to know the logic behind that ratio. if I was to choose between the 2 Avoca premises hands down id travel to monkstown to go to salt over going to the fern house. thou they both offer fairly similar menus salt out does fern house in presentation, portion, attention to detail and staff customer interaction.
T. C.They do a fantastic breakfast here! Poached eggs, avocado and sour dough bread is the absolute dream! Can be a little pricey but it's worth the food and service. The décor is so creative and beautiful with high glass windows.

E. S.Avoca is quite a safe bet for food, fresh and great produce. The area and view is lovely for some family time or even business lunch. Quite pricey (18 for a pasta dish) but the place makes it worth it.
