I initially thought that the burgers were a little pricey but they are worth. every. penny! Delicious and extremely fresh ingredients. We even got little hand wipes with our meals.
Boyfriend loved the Malt shake and I think we have been converted from 5 guys to box burger. I was equally impressed by their extensive vegan menu and alcohol selection, and think the pet rock style takeaway box is adorable!

m.Nice food. I ordered vegetarian Pizza and Cesar Salad. I make photos too. They do not have tap water so you just buy bootle one. You can seat outside so you can avoid c19 scanning. When you make your order you will be asked for your phone number and when your order is ready, they will call you on your mobile to tell you that:-) I presume they have to follow the government Plandemic madness, at least they are open and serve good tasty food:-)
E. S.Delicious vegan food. The vegan buffalo fries, Louisiana 'chicken' burger & onion rings are some of my favourite items on the menu. I would give 5 stars but I'm taking one away because of how expensive the food can be (7 euro for a vegan milkshake is daylight robbery).. Lovely food though.
D. F.Very nice burgers! The portion size was on the large side. The price was very reasonable for the order. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 chips, onion rings and 3 drinks, this came to just over €40 which is a very good price. The service was very good here. There was enough staff around that if we needed anything else during our meal we could ask and not wait around.

This is the best rule ever, people can't hog seating or tell their friends to grab a table while they order. When you're food comes, it's nearly certain you'll get a set too.

Great location and great staff. And make sure not to miss the fried pickles. Fried chicken sandwiches were tasty just wish they'd batter them instead of bredding them

M. A.Strong contender for the best vegan burger I've ever had - hits that perfect balance of being meaty enough to hit the spot but not meaty enough to be fleshy and gross. The bacon, cheese, everything was perfect. I'm spoilt for choice in London and I was distraught to find there isn't a VOX burger here. I almost feel like it's a public duty to make the recipes available. Otherwise you're going to get a lot of airmiles racking up to Wicklow which defeats the environmental swagger of having such an outstanding vegan menu.
G. G.Maybe among the best burgers I have tasted in my life. It seems I am exaggerating, but I am not. I tried the Mexican and got gladly surprised by the spicy flavour. My wife tried the cheese burger and enjoyed the rich flavour and melting cheese. My friend ordered the vegan, and we couldn't believe it was not meat. It is safe to say that we will ride the DART down to Bray just to have another try on those burgers.

C.Orders 2 chicken burgers (Louisiana and Dirt Bird) and got 2 bacon cheese beef burgers, they were very nice but reading the reviews the staff need to wake up and fix their broken process (Boxes have no identifying marks with regards contents a sticker or marker saying what's in box would reduce errors?) where they are messing up orders all the time. Check your order before you leave!

B. P.The burgers are delicious, best burgers I've tasted in a while. I'm however not sure if I'll order again because the kitchen seems not pay attention to the orders. Twice we ordered a burger with triple beef patty and twice it came with only 2. First time we called and they gave back the money paid for the extra patty, second time we called and no money back. A 3rd time we ordered and before ordering we called, talked to Silvi (I think) to ensure we would get the 3 beef patty in one of the burgers and also complained about the previous order in which we didn't get the money back.
We finally got the 3 beef patty, but still no money back. It's only €4 euros, but bigger than the money is the hassle of not getting our full order. I hope they get organized and give our money back.
N. B.The food was good, but my friends and I were not treated well.
To start with, there was a long wait for our table, which we were told was because of how busy the restaurant was. However, once we were seated, there was also a long wait for our drinks (about an hour long), even though we had asked about them about five times, and our server snapped that our drinks were at the bar when asked (even though they were meant to be brought to our table). The same server brought us our drinks, but one was missing and we let her know. In response, she scoffed and actually slammed our drinks down on the table.
The manager told us that this was a new girl and she was frustrated about some other things that went on that day, but that’s not an excuse. She could have knocked over the glasses or something and injured herself or one of us sitting at the table. There was also her condescending attitude when asked about the drinks. I understand being frustrated as I work in a customer service job as well, but this was just unacceptable.
To her credit, the manager knocked off a fair bit of money from our bill, which was very nice and deeply appreciated. All in all, the food was good and most of the servers were friendly. I wish I could leave a higher rating, but the way this particular server acted left a sour taste in my mouth regardless of what she may have been dealing with. I’m sorry to say, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this restaurant again.
F. R.Excellent burgers. My absolute favourite is the one with black pudding in it! Gorgeous. You can get it with salad instead of a bun at no extra cost which is a nice option.

n. a.One of those rare places that has an amazing vegetarian burger (aubergine/halloumi) in Dublin. Gone back for it multiple times and the quality has not dropped. They read the "additional comments" on their online order, do good fries and their staff are friendly. Took longer than we'd have liked but it was worth the wait. Will be back!

Orders with missing items, and soggy, cold, inedible food - but it could be down to the take-away packaging. Hopefully with the reopening of indoor dining it'll be back to five star quality!

C.We popped in here by chance before heading on the dart. We were met by a girl once we entered the building and directed to our seats. We were sat right across from the kitchen, which is always a nice to see your food being prepped. When we the food arrived, we were both delighted how nice it looked and couldn't wait to taste it. Both the burgers and chips were lovely, all tasted so fresh and juicy. I would recommend visiting here for anyone that loves burgers.

A. C.Regulars but today was a real let down. Looked forward to a good takeaway, the Louisiana burger and fries, chicken nachos and milkshakes. The burger was nice but the fries were dry and cold and the chicken nachos were definitely not like before, seemed like a different sour cream with cold dry chicken. Also, milkshakes came later with a separate driver, not sure why but nevertheless our easy dinner turned out to be a disappointment in taste and a waste of money.
P. S.Had a great burger called pbj. Cooked well and tasted delicious. I feel like lots of places can't cook sweet potato fries but these were nice. The service was fantastic with the waitresses coming up to us all the time making sure that we were ok and refilling our beers.

Great selection of burgers either beef, chicken or vegetarian. They also have some good salads and you can add a beefy patty to the salad.
The kids menus are very value at €10.50 for starter, main, dessert and a drink.
h.On the pricey side as sides like chips are extra but the burger must have been one of the best I ever had. Proper meat patty and doing great unusual combinations such as peanut butter sauce. Staff very attentive and quick even in full house. Will be back soon...

Also, the nachos were awesome! Lots of cheese, lots of guacamole and the chips seemed made there, so a winner!

M. S.The beef burgers are the highlight here. Good quality locally sourced, well prepared patties on fresh brioche buns. My cheese burger was juicy, melty goodness. I love the crunch that crisp iceberg lettuce and pickles give a burger but unfortunately my burger only had a hint of both. Unfortunately our fries were a bit overcooked on this occasion.
We shared buffalo wings and tacos to start. And, while the wings were tender, spicy and tasty, the "tacos" were more like small chicken salad wraps and nothing like the real thing.
I enjoyed the mini donuts with soft serve ice cream despite the fact that I'm not a fan of cinnamon sugar. I might try and ask of plain caster sugar next time.
The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

Also have to recommend the peanut butter and jelly milkshake which is very moreish. Service is also excellent staff very attentive and accomodating. All in all an excellent place to bring the family. Also has a bar area with large selection of cocktails for the lady in your life and a nice selection of whiskeys too.

A.Great burgers and great fries (as a side dish which is charged extra). Definetly plentiful portions and a moderate price. When you sit a the „bar/kitchen“ you can watch the burgers being prepared. I liked it – but I highly recomend splitting one side of fries with two people. ;)

We shared chicken wings as a starter which came to the table more or less the minute we ordered but main courses were delayed and I have to be honest my cheese and bacon burger was very ordinary. ..we had ordered dirty fries which I think had been left sitting for a while somewhere. .. maybe we will give it another go but not for a while. ...
D. L.We had a table booked for six people and we were seated immediately by a friendly member of staff. The menu suited us just fine with and within a respectable timeframe our orders were taken and the food arrived promptly.
The food was tasty although my wife wasn't particularly impressed with her fries as she thought they were greasy. As for the price, it cost €115 for 5 adults and one child, tip was extra. This included 7 drinks, 6 main meals and 3 desserts.
Would I go back? Yes but not anytime soon as there are so many other places to try first.
K. W.One of the most innovative takes on burgers, and it isn't just fancy names they really deliver on quality. I've had many burgers in box burger and never been disapointed. The starters are incredable and would actually be more than enough to feed you. My girlfriend my brother and I got a large fish nachos and large chicken wings between us and after finishing them hardly had any space for mains. Defiantly check out the specials if you go in, the nachos are also definatly a must try

A. S.I have eaten here a number of times. I brought my dad here and he is usually fussy about where he eats......let's just say he wants to go back. I had a Holy Cheeses burger(another genius burger by the way) and he had the chicken wings (delish) one thing that stood out for my dad was how cool the place was (I think I have only ever heard him use the word cool once before)

W. v. V.Yesterday I was in the mood for burger so we went to Box. Just to be sure I reserved a table, lucky me that I was that smart. the place was packed! We've been there before in the opening weekend. I really like what they have done with the place. Nice dark with a great atmosphere.
As a starter we decided to take the nancho's with pulled beef. Beside the tasteless 'cheese-out-of-can' it was really good stuff! A very big starter which in my opinion was even too much for two persons.
Time to get to the burgers >> We ordered the box fries as a side, Never had chicken gravy with onions and cheese on my fries but was pretty good.
Only after the first bite of my burger I was a bit disappointed, the bottom half of the bun was over toasted, crunchy you could say!
I notified a member of the staff and they will make us new ones right away. A minute later the manager came to our table to apologize for it. Next round of drinks were on the house.
I like the great service!! A few minutes later we got new fresh burgers, almost to hot to take in your hands but that's is something really good.
The 2nd round of burgers were perfect (as expected) recently they made the burgers 20% bigger. Now it is a real meal. Perfect meat, perfect bun and easy on the toppings. Just the way I prefer my burger.
When we asked for the bill there was still the extra drinks on it. Too bad, but after I notified a waitress it was corrected.
Summary: Great place with the perfect burgers If there is something wrong they know how to handle it and make sure that you leave with a great experience.
T. C.Great service loads of food. Chips can be shared we ordered a bowl each. This was way too much and we are big eaters! Great choice of beers and cocktails. They looked after the kids really well and even sung the 5 year old happy birthday.

No waitress came over to ask how our food was. So I couldn't say anything about the no pancetta. I think food is on the expensive side considering its burger and chips. Also bray seafront can be hard to find parking.

Only problem was the waitress, blond long hair, not sure about her name though, I think she’s italian. We asked to change tables after we ordered drinks as it was a high table and the spot was too cold and at the smoking area. The girl we asked, I think her name was Louise was really nice and considerate, she said the next available table would be ours but the italian blond girl said NO to our request.
Long story short, we never got our table and me and my family had to eat in the cold and in the middle of people smoking.
Wouldn’t go back unless got a table booked in advance. It seems to be the only way to be given nore attention t this place.
