J. T.Good brunch, lovely staff, free parking on the weekends. The breaded asparagus gave a nice crunchy texture to the my meal. My preference of a poached egg is soft but not too runny. My eggs were perfect. We loved everything but the beans on my husbands breakfast. No flavor and not cooked all the way. Beans should be soft all the way through but other than that we loved everything.

k. a.Have been here before and were really pleased. Though today we were pretty dissappointed with food, which can always be a result of maybe ordering something wrong. We had chicken wings bbq, which were too vinegartasty for bbq, dip wasnt tasty at all. Fries werent crisp and tacos with prawns were missing presentation as well as missing spices, especially the two dips. Staff was lovely though and the place is a lovely spot. So as I said, could just be the wrong food order, but we were both really disappointed with the lunch we have been looking forward to so much.

I. M.We left Bray 3 1/2 years ago. Many a Sunday morning we went in search of an Eggs Benny followed by a Pancake stack or French Toast for dessert. Found a few places that had a character all their own.
This morning, in a post-covidian era, visiting with family and friends, we waved away the nostalgia and headed down to DY8.
It was like a slice of time had been frozen just for us.
The wait staff were brilliant. Very relaxed and chatty.
Sat into a bench table and we got a menu that had the favourites and new additions.
We chatted about the memories that each dish carried.
I had the Chefs Breakfast. Crisp parma ham, poached eggs, sourdough toast, guacamole and the crowning glory, battered asparagus spears.
It. Was. Sublime.
I love me a good coffee. My Americano's were delicious and just the right temperature.
No breakfast dessert today though.
I hope it won't be as long again before we visit.
Thanks for being there folks and maintaining your standards through these difficult times. We are definitely the better from our visit.

The Fish&Chips, Dessert and Coffee were amazing! Dockyard No.8 is a must visit if you love Fish&Chips. The restaurant is very clean and has very clean rest rooms. The staff are all very professional and genuinely care about their customers. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great Restaurant from all my travels and life experiences. You definitely won’t be disappointed. I definitely will return in the near future. Dockyard No. 8 located in Bray County Wicklow, Ireland rates five stars and more!

e.I've been coming here for years and it's always getting better. The menu items are changing and the food is always top notch. I brought friends that had never been before and they were really impressed. Everything was lovely but the chef's breakfast was amazing!

B. P.Great food, super friendly staff. The chefs breakfast was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They also have a friendly dog policy. My little pupper was welcomed and they even have her a water bowl. Will definitely be back.

R. M.This is a great place for brunch, good menu and not too pricey. I had one friend who didn't like the steak and eggs but anytime I've been there it's been great. Hamhock Benedict is a person favourite. The staff are nice but when it is busy it can take a while to be attended to. Outdooare is heated and covered during colder time which is a big plus

They'll take your number and call you when your table is ready. Meanwhile have a nice stroll around the harbour.

A. B.My best friend and I stopped by for a light lunch, oh my! The staff is super friendly, food is amazing and the lattes are tasty. Clean bathrooms, one is located downstairs which can get busy with the crowds, but there are more upstairs. They have amazing pastries to take home or on the road like us. It’s located on the water which is beautiful and scenic. Plenty of seating and free WiFi. You will be so happy you made the stop! Thanks for the great experience guys!

I was welcomed on entering and they got me a table for 1 before I could blink. Had the delicious ham hock eggs Benedict, with a generous amount if plump ham, not those flat slices. Would've preferred an option of sourdough instead of ciabatta, but I should've asked for that.
Would recommend if you fancy a non hotel breakfast.

I would recommend the French toast, it was amazing but ask for sauce on the side if you don't wanted the meal drained in maple syrup. The staff are so friendly and the food arrives so quickly! The eggs Benedict was nice but there are a lot of pulled ham.

P. S.A great restaurant with very tasty sea food choices. I had the sea food medley. It had a tomato base sause and lots of seafood including but not limited to crab claws, mussels and salmon.
I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a date or just a nice night out with fam or friends.

E. S.Coffee is good. Am not certain the cups are biodegradable which is something I look for in a takeaway coffee. My scone was a nice consistency but unfortunately tasted like fish, as if someone who'd handled fish had touched it.
A. R.Great place for lunch or brunch, small menu to suit a modern palate. If you want just light lunch plenty of options for om side orders. Nich coffee and deserts, limited beers and wines but what is on offer is very good. Good for couples and small groups. It woyldnt be suitable for a large party. It is extremely busy at lunchtime not a good idea to go on spec. Amble parking in harbour area fab views.

B.I went for breakfast here last month the food was lovely but had to wait a little while until the waitress took our order and took a while for the food to come which was a little annoying this was my second time ever eating at Dockyard one thing that I was quite disappointed about was how much a glass of Orange juice was it €3.00 and it wasn't a big glass, I think that is quite steep I wouldn't have minded €2 and it didn't taste or look freshly squeezed so that was disappointing I don't think I will order it unless its less than €3.00 I'm very sorry I didn't order a second glass as I thought the price was a lot even though I would have liked to its just something to note other than that the service was lovely and staff thank you
