S. J.We went with a lot of expectations, but sadly the whole experience was a little underwhelming. The food quality, taste wise, was just okay. However the staff were lovely and very friendly, they require special mention! The overall ambience and mood was great though. Wouldn't hurt to try once.

J. T.Nice decor, clean bathrooms, friendly service and delish food with ingredients imported from Italy. Currently a top fav for me with prices for pizzas from 12-16, entres 14-20, starters starting at 6 and up if you don’t count oysters. Not cheap but not super overpriced.

D. N.Perfect name for this wonderful Italian restaurant. As wines made with ripasso technique are squishing all the best out of beautiful Italian grapes - naming a restaurant this way brings you a promise of experiencing the best essence of Italian cuisine.
And yet this promise is not only realised, but brought to a new level with an Irish twist. Best local, Irish ingredients mixed with Italian energy and sun. Surprisingly you can start with Connemara oysters, which will charm you with their delicate, very smooth and a bit sweet taste, all born in a mix of full of nutrients of ocean and Connemara waters. Seafood Gnocchi with mussels, prawns, octopus and razor clams (oh yes - pretty rare to find in restaurants!) was another wow factor without any compromise fully deserved being called the Main Course in capital letters. At the very end - crème de la crème (or coup de grâce for your waist) - traditional Italian tiramisu - bellissimo - nothing more to add ;)
P.S. sorry for clearing your store out of oysters - they were just to good ;)

The atmosphere and decor are wonderful too. They also have a great online shop so you can have fabulous italian good at home too. Great Covid measures too - it feels very safe there right now. Worth a trip to Bray when lockdown lifts! ☺️

F. S.We came in for Sunday lunch and it was incredible. Very hard to pick from the menu as everything looked amazing, but when we finally ordered, the food that came was gorgeous. Really fresh, beautifully cooked pasta, just the right amount of sauce, cheese. The prawns were juicy, the woodpigeon was tender and filling. Perfect Italian cuisine. Can't wait to come again.

S. M.The place is a bit pricey but the quality is superb. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and helpful and the interior of the restaurant is cozy and tastefully decorated. This is a restaurant we'll visit every month, if Covid allows, otherwise we'll order online. We love having this place is Bray!
We have also ordered from their shop a few times and will keep doing it. They have a lot of good stuff and very well priced. The only things that could be a bit cheaper are the Deli meats. We've just moved to Bray from Dublin and Ripasso is sooo much better than Dublin's Little Italy. However, Ripasso's meats quality and selection is slightly behind La Spesa Italiana in our opinion. Hopefully it'll get better!

A. H.Went here for lunch with a friend , yesterday, October bank holiday Monday and we were both absolutely delighted with our choice. Coming in from a very cold walk along Bray Seafront, Ripasso was warm and welcoming and looked spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been more helpful and went the extra mile! My friend had spaghetti in a fresh tomato sauce, topped with half a lobster. I had a pzza which was exactly as a pizza should be - thin crispy base topped with good quality fresh ingredients. I'm definitely look forward to returning and if you are into your coffee you won't be disappointed!

Been going to Campo Di Fiori(previous restaurant in this premises) for over 10 years. It was our absolute favourite place to eat. We were so disappointed when we heard Laura and Marco were going back to Italy but hopeful that one of their former staff members was taking the reigns and doing his own thing with it. It was a long wait but so so worth it. We were confident he would do a great job but I have to say it's even better we could have hoped. Been 3 times now and everything we have chosen has been top notch. Great job on the decor too. Best pizza in town

The staff is really kind and thoughtful, they make sure kids have amazing food and that were satisfied with everything! We had cozze starter, my son had pizza with salsiccia and my daughter had home made gnocchi.... Totally delicious!! I can tell they are using very high quality ingredients and fresh. I had orecchiette with itaIian sausage and broccoli and my husband has linguine with scampi, delicious!! We highly recommend the tutto dessert which is a mix of home made fresh itaIian desserts and the bill is also really good!!! We will go back for sure!! Grazie ragazzi!! Sono felicissima!!! :)

E.Had a three course dinner here yesterday evening. The food and service were amazing! The beef cheek was like butter - so tender. There was a large selection on the menu and it also catered for food allergies/intolerances whilst not compromising on flavour. The décor in the restaurant is opulent and inviting. We were lucky enough to be seated in a snug which was so nice as it was perfect for having a conversation over dinner. I would highly recommend visiting here.

It's so wonderful to be back sitting in a restaurant after 8pm and the laughter and company was great. We were welcomed back like long lost family and the food from start to finish was 5 star. The Turbet was divine and as always the Tiramasu the best outside Italy. This is one of the finest restaurants in Bray.
