Lovely spot to eat, have a coffee or tea and shop for some gifts if you are into sweathers and t-shirts. We tried the restaurant upstairs, you have great view. Tea was good and the carrot cake just marvellous! Very polite staff too.

What a great find. We were looking for some place to stop and eat. Couple of huge 6 seater tables outside.
Food was upstairs. We all orders food and it arrived exactly the way we asked. Kids got sausages amd chips, adults got sandwiches and chips.
Food was really tasty. We had 99 ice cream to finish it off.
Staff went above and beyond to look after the 6 of us, especially the kids.
Highly recommend stopping here for food and the wonderful staff.
I jist wish they had a big sign outside advertising food as my parents visited last year and thought it was coffee only.
Missing a big opportunity with tourists.
Thanks for great food and lookinh after us.

We had the best lunch of our trip here. Good variety - good soup, toasties, lasagne, croque monsieur, proper chips and nuggets followed by excellent coffee and sweet treats and a stroll in the hillside garden looking down to the sea. Our servers were very friendly and meals were served without delay.

We visited Goldens of Kells Sat 14th August. Fantastic service, relaxing and covid friendly. We were served by Ciara and she was more than pleasant. So friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Full marks to them all.

Yet again another pleasant visit to the quarry restaurant in Kells it's a perfect stop on the way to Valentina Island ,we stopped for a bit to eat and stretch the legs , the grey skies clear as we enjoyed our meal and revealed the stunning views looking out onto the ocean as the last of the clouds grabs the surrounding mountains as they cleared to leave the sky blue and a sunny afternoon .the restaurant was up to the usual high standard also great offers in the gift shop with lovely knit wear and high quality gifts and now they have three Tesla charging stations on the left-hand side of facility ,very cool . I'll be back for sure.

The man running the gift shop downstairs was amazing. Despite being a Blackhawks fan. Stopped just for a cup of coffee but decided to browse the shop. Had a hilarious conversation with the guy. Friend bought a sweater she adores. Highly recommend. 6 stars!

What a store! Not only do they have a wonderful owner to chat with as you do the Ring of Kerry (that would be Pat!) but they also have one of the best collections of GOOD Irish gifts. No plastic made-in-China things here - real Irish made crafts, clothes, pottery & crystal. The wool cape with the red silk lining? Divine. The Belleek Pottery selection? Best I've seen on my travels. The choice of Dubarry of Dublin outdoors clothing? Perfect.
I stop in here, often. I've gotten wedding gifts, presents for the Yanks back home, and even a few treats for myself! :-D
