Went there for a meal and I have to say it was one of the best meals I had in a very long time. If your fed-up with the same menus that you usually get then you have to give Buffalo Boy a go. Their menu is different and the food is superb 👌. Staff are so friendly and helpful. And to my delight I could see the chefs preparing the food and the kitchen was calm no shout or any of the stuff you see on TV. I highly recommend a visit to Buffalo Boy for a night out. You will love it.

I had opportunity to eat in Buffalo Boy last week and it was fantastic experience! The restaurant is beautiful and has unique atmosphere. Welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, we were seated in a newly opened spacious garden, decorated with lights and flowers. The food was delicious and nicely presented and portions generous. Definitely worth the visit, thank you for a memorable evening!

Ate here in October, probably one of the first experiences of dining out since lockdown. I had hoped we would be in the restaurant area but we were not, we were just inside the door. A few minutes after arrival we were asked what we would like to order and we stated we were waiting for the menu, we didn't realise the food menu was on the back of the drinks menu. We ordered and shortly after the food came, I ordered chicken curry and it was so hot, not like spicy hot but the temperature of the food (not complaining) but I struggled to eat it as it was so so hot. Whilst we were eating the staff were preparing other tables for people coming in but the one thing that I feel let the experience down was the 'ambiance' - there wasn't any. We were so close to the bar we could hear the staffs conversation, not that it was anything bad. But I feel had we been in the restaurant area the experience might have been nicer for us.

Buffalo Boy was bloody fantastic! Starting with the staff, unbelievably professional and friendly with a very warm welcome and also with explaining specials and the menu ect. Myself and my partner were stunned with the food that was presented to us, it looked amazing and tasted ever better! Without a doubt I will be eating here again and I very much look forward to it! We came here at 3pm with our 3 daughters for lunch/dinner and were so delighted with our experience. We were just passing through on our way from Cork, so the girls were a bit cranky and tired but so welcome here. We were greeted by Gabrielle (waiter) who was so kind and chatty to the girl. He went through the menu in detail with us and explained everything so well. We went for the chicken burger and ribeye steak. It was by far the best meal we have had and the girls were delighted with the great children's menu. I would definitely recommend for families.

We are big fans of Buffalo Boy. And the loaded nachos are our favourite. They never fail to impress. They come in starter or main size and, well with covid etc we hadn't been in a long time and couldn't remember what size we normally get so, a I got the main size and my friend the starter size, but really one main between us would of been enough. This is really a nice, new restaurant. Friendly staff and good variety on the menu. The waiter suggested the t-bone (picture). It tasted good, but the cut of meat was just OK. Only half was edible meat. However, their seafood chowder was excellent!

A hidden Jem in Carrick on Shannon. I booked a table for my wife and I,and boy we were not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and know their menu which was excellent. The starters were very wholesome. We had the beef cigars and fish cakes. A great recommendation by our server. The mains were absolutely gorgeous. The Pasta was silky smooth and I had the mixed sliders which were delightful with a spicy kick. The staff then had a birthday surprise for me. To be honest this place deserves more then five stars and is well worth a visit and great value for money. Thank you all so much. We will be back..

I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening with my husband. We were very impressed with our waiter, food was fantastic and we would definitely return. We were pleased with your precautions taken to comply with covid 19 regulations in general. The only area we were concerned with was that some of the customers collecting Take-away from the bar did not wear masks.

Had my 30th party here on Saturday, couldn't recommend Buffalo Boy enough! We had a party of about 30 people upstairs to ourselves for a sit down meal. The food was so fabulous and they looked after us so well. The menu was a set menu, it was very reasonable and had a lot of choice. The service was amazing and they kept the glasses full at all times! Definitely recommend if you want somewhere for a nice meal for a special occasion. I'll be back!

Mexican chips were good. Disappointed with th the ribs. Looked great but very bland. Will be back to try the steak though. Priced well although the steaks look a little dear but they may be worth it. Have to try them the next time.

A large group of friends out for dinner on a sat night. Food was beautiful- chicken wings were hot and crispy and plenty of them. The curry was delish, all of it piping hot and so tasty. Popped in for Sunday Lunch. I really enjoyed the Piri Piri chicken. It was very juicy and tasty, not too hot, but you taste the chargrill. The younger ones had Spaghetti Bolognese, I was delighted to see small bits of celery and vegetables, I was impressed when it was all eaten. The Sweet Chilli chicken wings were devoured, I never got a chance to sample them but the verdict of thumbs up was taken as a good sign. I was unsure about eating in due to COVID-19 but Gabriel put our minds at ease. The menu's are one single use, the staff wore masks, the tables were not pre set and there was good distance between the tables.

We knew nothing about this restaurant but chance by it one Sunday evening & will definitely go back when in Carrick again. It was very inviting & nicely decorated. This is an excellent steak house. It has a reasonable choice for those who may not feel like a steak when with others who do. The ground floor bar is lively and not a place for a quiet drink. Food is also served here. The hot chicken wings are a speciality. The first floor is mainly a dining area with a full view of the flame grill in the kitchen. It also has a small drinks serving area behind the till. Popular for groups and parties, especially at the weekend when the flame grill is in full swing. With the buzz here, it is not a spot for a quiet romantic meal.

It started off well but went down hill once it started to get busy. We were ignored after our main course. Had to ask if we could order dessert, placed the order and waited 25 minutes before asking another staff member what was the hold up. Finally got dessert it wasnt worth the wait. No apology. Chips advertised with kids meals but wedges given. Kids don't like wedges.

There was a young gentlemen with an eyebrow piercing serving us who was very attentive and made sure we were satisfied with our food and drinks. Came in on a Sunday evening looking for something quick to eat. Went for the Buffalo Boy Platter for 2. Absolutely beautiful. Ribs & Wings so tender and falling off the bone. Had the sticky toffee for dessert which was delicious and the coffee excellent too. Great service. Will definitely be back!
