We got the combination starter between us and everything on the plate was delicious! Full of flavour!
I got the chicken madras and herself got the chicken Bhuna! Both were fantastic, super flavourful and portion sizes were spot on!
We shared pilau rice and chips together, both were pretty good!
And the Naan bread, specifically the Peshwari Naan bread... Best tasting naan bread I've had hands down.
10/10 can't wait to go again 👌

Mango lassi’s are soothing with the meal as they make it even more authentic as it is. The atmosphere was lovely and the servers were friendly. Can’t wait to go back, only authentic indian around no wonder been serving in Cork for 25 years! 😯
V. G.Beautiful Indian food! The complementary pappadams and chutneys at the start are a really nice touch to start the meal. There are a wide range of vegetarian options, we had one veg dish and one Biryani to share, it was so so good I felt like I was back home in India, taste was awesome! Can’t highly recommend this place enough, can’t wait to be back!

S. K.Had a takeaway from here over the weekend for a birthday party and it was fantastic, everyone loved the food. It was full of flavours and was hot. They were extremely busy when I was collecting my takeaway, however they still managed to prepare my take away on time. Very efficient staff especially in the time of this pandemic and the food topped it with its taste. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Indian meal.
I can’t wait to go back for another takeaway! They are well reputed as they have been in Cork for over 20 years, now I see why they have been here this long! Definitely worth a try.
C. B.Nice food, would recommend. We have had take-out from here a good few times this year already, the standard has been invariably good. The Onion Bhajee and Chicken Bhuna were a particular favourite. They give the crackers and a lovely onion and yoghurt dips to start, very tasty. Complimentary soft drinks too, a nice touch. Price is fair enough too, would definitely recommend.

K. N.I have been regularly visiting Bombay Palace for 20 years now, and I can say that it is by far the best Indian in cork. It has always maintained its food standards and the restaurant is beautifully decorated inside. There is a reason why this restaurant has been around since 1998 as the food I get from here always tastes as good as the first time!!

s. ..Food was excellent, however you have to pay for the rice separately from the main dish. With the prices being on the more expensive side of things. The service was good but nothing amazing. Overall if all you want is good Indian food this is a good choice but make sure to remember to oder your side dish.

J. M.Came in and didn't need a reservation. It was not to crowded. The food was over all on the sweet side of the spectrum. Ordered butter chicken (they had it listed as murg makhani), chicken tikka Masala, their rice with herbs (because the others don't come with rice) and naan bread. Got drinks of manga lassi. When the mango lassi came out it had not had the sugar dissolved so it was gritty at first. The use of sugar also made the lassi more sweet than I am used to from Indian food. The butter chicken was also on the sweeter side of one's that I have had though not enough to be off put. My wife who had the chicken tikka Masala said it was a 3 out of 5 based off previous experiences. The herb rice I would say could be passed on and just get plan rice. There was not much herb flavor to it to make it worth the extra cost.
Some things I am used to is smokey flavors from the tandoori oven and that was missing from the chicken.
And the service was kinda slow after the meal.
On the positive. The food was well cooked. The chicken was moist and tender. The service was prompt at the beginning of the service. Price was reasonable and ended up spending €50 for the meal.
There is still room to grow and would suggest not being as sweet and trying to get more smokey tastes added to the chicken.
