Went here for my sister's birthday, have visited numerous times and no issue. On this occasion the food wasn't quite as good as times previously and I was charged a euro when I asked for mayonnaise? Thought that was a bit rich.

Went here yesterday evening with my husband and had a lovely experience, all staff were very friendly and efficient and the drinks were nicely presented by a girl behind the bar, we had a coloured hair male server who was very helpful in explaining the menu, and our food was sent to our table very promptly, will definitely be back

Was in today for a meal everything was excellent. Good staff . Food cooked to perfection one small thing I do think a steak needs onions served with it other than that we were full leaving good size portions. To the young boy who started today you were really nice to us despite the mess the baby made.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The place had a lovely ambiance and there was plenty of distance from the other tables, adhering to current public health measures. Their food and cocktails were very nice and reasonably priced. Warning: if you’re feeling quite full and ordering chicken wings in hopes that it would be “something small” / appetiser size, think again. 😂 They give quite a big portion (40 pieces?) for sharing. I ended up having to get the rest of them boxed to take away, but it’s all good. No complaints.

Captain America's catered to my group of 9 , 4 kids and 5 adults, food was superb we really enjoyed it and service even though they were short staffed (which was explained to me when I booked) was very good, very attentive and nothing was too inconvenient. I would recommend 💯%. Captain America's has never disappointed me in the time it's been open.

Ordered a steak sandwich , 14.50 for a handful of chips , and the sandwich itself was bog standard minute steak with a bit of melted cheese, a bit of greens or a salad wouldn't go astray . Won't be in a rush to go back

Very popular dining location for the younger cohort, burgers are excellent, fries I'd guess are of the (McDonald's skinny) frozen variety. I would have thought chunky ones might have suited the menu better & something add to look of the dish like a couple of onion rings or some sort of veg could be added to improve the look of the dish.

However, even though we pre booked and got a table straight away the service was very slow, waiting 50 minutes for our order, this the minus 2 points Hi Dave Our booking number was #12203 and was on 23rd august. The place is good and well decorated! Very nice attendance! Lots of options on the menu! However my experience with the food was not the one I expected. The burger was not so soft and a bit colder then expected. The coke was kind of hot even though they added ice blocks in it. The fries were very good and in a portion I could not even eat all. After all the meal was satisfying, but could have been a lot better!

Great food, service not so great. I went with my 10 year old daughter, not many people there, plenty of empty tables, but the waitress sat us directly next to a 21st birthday table. We might as well have joined the party. Couldn't hear a thing my daughter said to me. Seemed ridiculous to put us there. I did enjoy the food, portions were big. Burgers were yummy.

Great food and fantastic service. Food on the table 10-15 minutes after ordering. Very comfortable boots to sit in so no body hoping off you trying to pass. Staff were fantastic very friendly and great with kids too. Food was beautiful and dessert was too. Highly recommend to everyone.

Hi Dave. Enjoyed the food, and staff were really nice. The place was packed which is a great sign of business, but the other side of that coin means the wait times were a bit longer. Everybody at the table enjoyed their meals too. I think we all had to collectively loosen our belts afterwards. One small note regarding the fajita main, might be no harm to mention on the menu that some assembly is required. Not a huge issue tbh, but if the wait time is a bit long, better to give advance notice. If I could give 3.7 stars I would, but it didn't feel like a 4. I did enjoy the signed Julianne Moore tshirt on the wall too. Would have no issues coming back again. Thanks!

Great chicken goujons, and nice fries, but it's not enough to compensate for the lack of taste of the burger meat, which was also way too dry, you're expecting something more juicy when you order a BBQ burger, not cardboard... A bit disappointing. Great service though. Room for improvement, the staff could ask about how you want your meat cooked...

It was OK. For all of the rich food culture nearby, I probably wouldn't eat here again, but it had open tables while everyone else was booked full, so that was good. I've had better burgers, but I've also had worse. Drinks were good, save a couple bucks by ordering a pitcher!

This is without a doubt one of my favorite places to eat in Cork. I'd kill for their nachos and banana milkshake! (Strange combination I know) Their atmosphere is incredible and the decorations add to it! They have signed memorabilia everywhere and the staff are incredibly friendly. Also, the extensive cocktail list is a major plus!

Always a favourite place to go in Cork. Our go-to meal of choice is the chicken nachos and chicken tenders. The portion is so huge that its enough to satisfy 2 people with bottomless softdrinks. The desserts are pretty awesome too!

Steak is fantastic, many different options to choose from, very reasonable pricing, and my order of medium rare is spot on everytime. One of the best places to eat in Cork - without question. Staff are amongst some of the friendliest people I have ever met; the occasional time when a steak isn't cooked right or something goes wrong (let's face it, it can happen anywhere), the staff are proactive and apologetic in their approach to putting things right, and are not afraid to take steps to ensure one's loyalty as a customer. The menu has a wide range of offerings focusing mainly on the "grill" - burgers and steaks, pizza, even some vegetarian options. My own personal recommendation would be the "New Yorker" burger - this starts at the bottom with the softest bread you can imagine upon which rests the burger which is cooked to perfection - not too dry, not too wet - just juicy enough. On top of this you'll find a spread of crispy bacon being held down by a net of succulent cheese, with an egg and finally the soft bread to top it off. It is truly something to behold. On top of the food, there is a wide range of drink available including a superb cocktail menu. Overall, Captain Americas remains one of my favourite eating houses in Cork and I highly recommend it.

Also similar to hard rock - cafes - guitars, clothes etc. The food is very good. Very clever hygiene concept. (Original) Sehr gutes Burger - Restaurant. In de 2.Etage, neben und über diversen weiteren Restaurants. Der Name ist Programm und Aufenthalt dem Weg zu den hinteren Zimmern, die fast jeder mal aufsucht, findet man eine kleine Auswahl an gleichnamigen Comics und diversen Utensilien als eine Art Mini-Austeilung. Außerdem ähnlich dem Hardrock - Cafés - Gitarren, Klamotten etc. Das Essen sehr gut. Sehr kluges Hygienekonzept.
