The food is very good and place is also very beautiful..If you are indian so dere are soooo many options for you... Initially we didn't know about this restaurant but searched on Google and found this..it's little away from city side so if you are alone try to come in day , don't go alone (it's just little away from city centre so little dark and secluded area )

Got butter chicken main pilau rice , garlic naan and 2 pints for 30 quid with a poppadom and sauce complimentary. Which was a little bit on the pricey side for me but the food was excellent. Great portion sizes, quality superb everything was honestly delicious and the staff were super welcoming. Will be back!!

The Ambiance and the locality is very nice . Food was good to some extent, ordered veg and non veg dishes , veg was not that good . Panner was not Cooked properly and Curry was not as expected. Nan was very Nice. But the service was nice.

Indian food taste and quality depends on so many factors and food outside outside India is hard to meet expectations of the traditional palette. With this in mind, read the review (with a grain of salt). By far the best Indian food (tandoori) I have had here in Cork (please see my other reviews for other Indian restaurants).
Tandoori paneer (starter) tasted very good followed by decent naan and paneer tikka masala. We also got biryani but that ended up tasting average.

Very delicious and Authentic South Indian Dosa and Sambhar, along with Medu Vada, red sauce and green sauce. 10 times better than iyers( not that iyers is bad) Must try. Restaurant Ambience is nice and the owner is good to talk to.

Food and portions were great, very friendly staff.

We were looking for a place to eat and happened to come across this restaurant. The location isn't ideal but the walk was absolutely worth it. We were greeted very kindly and our waitress helped us out with explanations about the many different options in the menu. She made us feel very welcome in general!
The food was delicious and the portions were more than appropriate. We left after a very nice evening and would love to come back if we ever make it back to Cork. We can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine!

Ordered a takeaway from Indian Aagrah last week on their own website after enjoying a delicious meal in their restaurant last year.
The food was delivered in a timely manner and I could pay via card using a contactless tap which was great.
The quality and flavours contained within the food was well up their with my best experiences of Indian cuisine in Cork. The meat was cooked perfectly and the spices were just right. I find Indian restaurants use too much oil in their food a lot of the time, this is not the case here. Food tasted fresh it’s a nice taste of garlic coming from the naan bread.
I will definitely be ordering again for takeaway and also look forward to a sit down meal inside the restaurant in Sunday’s well.

I am very fan of this place. They have amazing indian dishes. I have been in once and it was a stunning experience. I also ordered a couple of times and the take away option was nice. It was just once that the salad came in a plastic bag and I don't think is really hygienic. The gulab jamun is one of my favourite sweet and last time the syrup had come out of the container, it wasn't apropiate for such content. I will be back even though, but It could be great if you improve that.

Really enjoyed the food there. Service is excellent and really friendly. They have kingfisher beer too which is a personal favorite

Delicious food with varied menu. Gorgeous naan! Loads of different flavours and textures. Really polite and efficient service. Only gripe would be that the kulfi wasn't authentic, basically it was pistachio ice-cream, which was a bit of a disappointment. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place. Probably the best Indian food I've had in Cork. I'll definitely go back but skip dessert 😃

Having given up on Indian food in Cork, we decided to give this place a go. We were delighted that we did.
Although we mainly order takeout, the staff are friendly and thoughtful. The food has been excellent with Garlic Chilli Chicken my personal favourite whilst my wife always orders the Chicken Achar. Both are full of chicken and fresh herbs and spices.
Bit of work still needed to bring the in-house experience up to standard (but not for wont of friendly staff) and a few other teething issues but encourage everyone in the area to give these guys a go.

Lovely service. Great food. We all loved it. Kids and adults alike. We will return

My colleague and I were in Cork for the evening. We are both aficionados of Indian cuisine and he was readily amenable when I suggested that style of fare for dinner. We found this place, which was only a ten-minute drive from our hotel, so we decided to give it a try.
Their location in the old Sunday's Well section of Cork actually looked a little run down. In spite of the building appearance, the cozy interior is nicely kept and provides a comfortable dining atmosphere.
Our waitress was a very pleasant and helpful person who provided excellent service. It was a Monday and thus was not too busy, which I thought was a positive for us.
We both had starters. My colleague began with veg samosas and was happy with them. I opted for the Chicken Pakora starter, which was very tasty. For his main, my colleague had a vegetarian curry option while I chose the Bindhi Chicken. Mine had a great taste as it was perfectly spiced and very flavorful. My colleague was equally happy with his choice.
To end the meal, I had a Masala Chai, which was properly made with boiled milk. Their recipe had the right amount of cinnamon which made it the ideal finisher.
Our bill was less than €50 for the two of us including drinks and a small tip. We were quite happy with the value. I will look forward to trying this place again when next in Cork

Very tasty food. Reasonable price. Good ambiance.
Didn't know that in Ireland we get indian menu. Being vegetarian, found enough dishes to relish. Nan needs special mention.

Delicious fresh cooked food, great for dinning in as the decor has a more modern vibe, which is something I can't say for other Indians in Cork. A full bar is available, this would be a great place for small parties as the city centre is only a short distance away. Staff are accommodating and polite.
E. H.
Been going there for 2 years now. Even after we moved out the city. Great food and lovely people.
S. C.
Good quality indian, you can tell all the food is prepared with fresh ingredients.
The owner's recommendation was just right to the level of spice I was looking for.
Nice clean decor, full bar, very good vegetarian selection.
Definitely recommend this place

Lovely restaurant with amazing Indian food and friendly staff. We've ordered takeaways from this place a few times and have always enjoyed, but it's a gorgeous spot to eat in at as well.
M. J.
Great choice of interesting dishes, including vegetarian options. Food was excellent, the main pleasure for me though was how comfortable and relaxed it was to have a meal there. Service was friendly and polite, and the prices are reasonable.

I went here with me friend, food was very tasty and every dish a different colour, so made properly (unlike a lot on Indians!) very tasty, had a kick as it should and the naan...oh my! We had a family sharing one, it was HUGE and such good fun.

We ordered food there for the first time and were really impressed. Everything is really fresh and the food is good quality! This is real Indian food that is cooked by somebody who cares. Will definitely order again.

Rogan josh and madras curry were excellent

Fantastic indian! The best in cork. Extremely authentic and a million miles away from the stereotypical irish Indian takeaway I would have grown up with. Jamaal & the lads working there are very friendly and will gladly talk you through the different types of dishes. Personal favourite is the Makhani, absolutely delicious!
R. K.
Very good staff and manageable food. Curries all looked same in taste and experience. Starters were brilliant. We tried vegetable samosa and pakora and it was fine. Spices were less. Cost is ok. Ambience is very good. Little far from centre of city but walkable
C. J.
We had the Chicken Biryani and the Hydrabadi dish which were both divine. However my favorite was the cheese nan! I can eat that all day. The servers gave us the wrong type of nan at first but corrected it anyway.. allowed us to have the wrong one for free!!! Score! Quite pricey though.. Paid 53.90 for a meal for two.. but hell yeah the food was great.

The owner is from Bradford, UK, the epicentre of currydom on earth. Not quite up to the very best that city has to offer but it ain't far off. Attentive and friendly staff, a very pleasant, modern decor and a cracking curry. I will be back again and again!
P. M.
The menu seems to have a lot of different dishes to your usual run of the mill Indian. Got takeaway of Hyderabadi Lamb which was beautiful (kind of like an Indian Inspired Stroganoff) and the Lamb Tikka Balti which was also delicious. They have done the place up quite nicely and retained the full bar licence. They do a Sunday lunch Buffet too, not sure how much it is though.
P. M.
Excellent food, a great variety of vegetarian options. Reasonably priced and very good service. Have to give 5 stars, will definitely return.
E. M.
Loved the Tarka Dal ,Bindi and the Rice 5* . The Chicken Madras was a little disappointing . Tasty but too mild for me . ? adjusting recipe for local palates- I wouldn't .
The service was 5* . Friendly fast
Will recommend to friends
