G. K.Always love Nando's for their super hot spicy sauce. Chicken here is easily one of the spiciest you can find in Cork. Great atmosphere for dine in.

The reason for only 4 stars is because our table put in two seperate orders at the same time we got ours first but then the others was waiting another half hour for their food. We would of liked all the tables food to of arrived at the same time.
We will still be coming back, so hopefully this problem is fixed or isn't a regular problem.
D. N.Great place, friendly service. . With COVID protocols in place it took about 10 minutes to get a place to sit. We prefered to sit upstairs. Our meal was promptly prepared and served with a smile. Ordering works best if you have a phone that can scan QR codes and the Nandos app.

-even if u dont love spicy food u still should go to nandos cz you are the boss and you choose your level like medium hot , hot or extra hot

N.Really nice place, the building is really nice, all the details make the place really beautiful, chicken and peri peri chips are my favorite, but if you are vegetarian you must try mushroom pita, sandwich or wrap with hummus, the hummus is perfect, there’s another in Mahon point but definitely this is my favorite, the sauces are fabulous, if you like chili try the hot one, otherwise there’s some garlic or lemon they are also nice

J. W.If you’ve never had Nando’s you absolutely HAVE to have it. It’s truly the height of fast dining. You really can’t go wrong on the menu and there’s something for everyone. The sauces are on the spicy side so go below what you think you can handle on the marinade and then they have sauces on the side so you can try all the ones you want!
A. N.Really great food,fabulous bubbly staff. I'm a plain eater,so I get the non spicy food but my 2 teens love the spicy stuff,hotter the better. So it's brill that we are all catered for.
You definitely wont be hungry leaving here,your pocket will be a lot lighter though as it's not cheap to eat here

The menu has different chicken based courses. You can choose the spiciness level from mild to extra hot. If you enjoy spicy food the extra hot isn't that hot. Nevertheless, the food is delicious.

K. K.It is an unusual setup in this restaurant. You wait to be seated by a waiter, they then give you a menu and explain it to you if you are unfamiliar with it and then you must go to the counter, order and pay. The food is then brought to your table. It was very tasty food. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It really only loses the star because we had to go order ourselves which we felt was a bit ridiculous for the prices they charged. It doesn't put me off going again.
S. K.Have geared themselves up to cope with Covid requirements, scan the poster at the door to get a place in the queue for a table. Go about your shopping depending on the wait time and you get a text when your table is free.
Scan another tag at your table to order, and prepay on your phone. Great if you are of the smartphone generation but less so for older customers, not sure if my parents would manage - food for thought.

H. L.Sorry to be late in putting this up, but on Monday 3 June 2019 I had a birthday party in Nando's in Cork and was totally blown away by the positive and helpful attitude of all the staff who served us.
They couldn't have done a better job - from the time we arrived and took our order, to the meal itself and to the very end when they sang happy birthday to me.
The ladies in my picture who serenaded me were just fantastic, and so were all the other staff. What an incredible team they all are and a huge credit to their company. Every single one of them deserves an award.
This was our first time at this particular branch and we had never met any of the staff before, but they treated us like we were their friends. Between them they ensured I had a wonderful birthday experience, one that I will treasure for a long time.
My family and I were on holiday from England and this was one of the great highlights of our time in Ireland. Thank you Cork Nandos. You are truly amazing.

H. G.It was clean, pretty comfortable and pleasant inside, the table we sat at had some broken parts on the seating but there were enough places to sit at it that we could avoid the broken bits. The food was ok, no wow factor on any of it, nothing super impressive. We split the whole chicken, which came with either one large side or two regular sized sides, the regular sized sides are very small, so the meal was mostly chicken. For a whole chicken it was tiny, more like a small cornish hen. For €25+ it was quite expensive for what you got. We will probably never be back, the only good thing was the free refills on the soda but it was €3.70 or €3.90 for a drink so even that's not worth it.
R. 8.If you’ve been to Nando’s before, then you’re already aware of the set up. If you haven’t, then don’t judge it on the fact there’s no real table service.
The platters are worth a group meal and the chicken is always delectable. It’s certainly better than most places I’ve ever eaten. The perinaise is to die for 😍 the service was good and there’s a quirky book selection right at the door.

f.The food is decent! But I have to say I love how they use paper straws which is so good for the environment and decomposes mich quicker than plastic straws. Also the fact that you can ask for a takeaway box. Very nice to place to be in.

L. O.Nando s is a very modern and minimalistic. The floor plan is easy to maneuver and get around. The prices are reasonable. They have a young and energetic staff. The staff are well versed in the dishes and products. They have a good selection of vegan dishes. I didn't see anything available for gluten-free other than salads and other vegan dishes. The music is funky and chilled. Great place for families and those with a younger vibe.

Naturally, I had to return the next day and order the same thing... and... get this. My burger came in 2 MINUTES!!!! If you're in cork, do yourself a favor and eat at Nando's. It is a favorite of locals and tourists alike.

I enjoyed the lunch and got a voucher for half a chicken on my next trip to Nandos. The store is well run and very tidy for a busy restaurant.

E. H.My first trip to Nando's, I was very weary since I'm vegetarian, but they have a great selection of foods. A must if you like hot food but they cater to milder palates as well.

Ordering is done at the counter (as everywhere here in Ireland), but regardless of that the service is very polite and fast. The place look nice and spacey, good for a fast and simple meal.

T.Nandos is a Portuguese-style restaurant franchise serving mainly chicken. It was founded in South Africa and has spread around the world. The Nandos at Cork - Academy Street is a really nice venue with a downstairs and an upstairs. The service is really good and the food is just as good. I've only been there once ever when I was not impressed with the food because my chicken was a little underdone. I'm a regular though! Best grilled chicken in town!
