P.Was there on a birthday party with kids. They enjoyed the monkey maze (great for ~20 kids) and a maybe 15 min tractor trip outside. Weather was a bit windy and muddy to be outdoors for too long (February), but the small playground was ok. Dress up warm enough, if you're gonna hang around in the play area.
R. R.Really really enjoyed our trip here. Spent hours here which is rare for my children as they bored quickly. Lovely indoor soft play. It was very quiet which was great. Got some pizza in the cafe which I was really impressed with. Nice outdoor play area and farm. Staff very nice too. If I had one recommendation, it would be to put a few more things in the younger/baby soft play section. Was just a few ballsand few other toys.

K. B.A brilliant place for a children's birthday party. The staff are great and the food is excellent, particularly the stone oven pizza. People talk often use words like "sustainability" and "green" but this farm is a living breathing example of how to live in harmony with the land. Food is grown organically on the farm and then used to feed the many parties that pass through the gates as well as adults on day trips. Ground is fertilised the old way with horse manure and pesticides aren't used. Horses still pull ploughs on the land with old equipment pre dating tractors and the tractors that are used are reconditioned 1940s models. It's like a time capsule of what farming was and still should be. A chat with the owner would educate you on sustainable farming and what it means to work with nature. Do yourself a favour and bring your kids to this wonderful place to celebrate a birthday.
S. C.Tir na Si has always been a favourite of mine. Lovely atmosphere and lovely vibe out here and kids have always loved it. Have not been since covid, unfortunately, but I really can't wait for the day we can go for a day out again to Tir na Si.

b. c.Great place for families. Working farm with a quaint but authentic visitor experience including animals on the animal trail, an outdoor playground, indoor playground, picnic area, café. Optional crazy golf, road-train ride, carriage ride. Friendly staff, and although we did not use the café the food purchased by other visitors looked to be very good, and I spotted a very authentic looking chef in the kitchen.
There is a lovely circular walk there taking in the animals as you go, and loved the idea of the animal names painted at each pen. They seem to be very well cared for there. They give you a map which is helpful. The 'Fairy place' could do with some refurbishment, it's a little past its sell by date and could do with a refurb and a little imagination.
Crazy golf and the train ride is 2 euro extra, but worth it. Be aware that the train ride just goes the same route as the animal trail, so you don't get to see anything new if you've already done the trail on foot.
Once you find the turnoff after Watergrasshill, Tir na Si is simple to find.
The only thing I didn't like was the payment booth on arrival. You ring a bell and wait to be served. While I was waiting I looked in the hatch window and the place inside is very dark and could do with a good tidy up, it wasn't very inviting and actually didn't do the rest of Tir na Si any justice. However at 28Euro for 2 adults and 2 children, and armed with our picnic, it was GREAT value. Definitely recommend. Go early as it will get busy during peak season.
G. O.Fantastic indoor facilities for kids not much to keep them entertained once they pass 6 or 7 there food and cafeteria area absolutely fantastic little gift shop and outside playground a small petting farm they're still relatively new compared to others out there so forever evolving.

s.Kids loved this place, an open farm. Farm is small with a small amount of animals but my kids loved the out door play area and the indoor playground. The Cafa is great for the small ones and us grown ups. The food is of very high quality with friendly staff. Kids had chicken nuggets and pizza cooked in a clay brick oven taste so nice. You can have a horse carriage ride around the farm which the kid's loved. I have also attended a child's birthday party, which was a big hit with all the kid's.

We spent 4 hours today enjoying the excellent facilities provided at Tir Na Si. We had three children with us, twins aged 3 years old and a two year old.
They had a great time both indoors in the "soft"play area and later in the outdoor play area . They went for a trip on the little train to see all the animals, which they enjoyed, but the highlight of the visit for the two three year olds were the battery-powered tractors. They rode on them first before going out to see the animals and before we left for home, they had to have another go. They are still talking about them and want to go on them again before returning home to Dublin in two days time!
When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who clearly explained the various Ticket Options.
We had breakfast there and we all agreed that the food was very tasty and the portions were very substantial.
Well done to everybody involved in this enterprise...keep up the good work.
We definitely will be back.
K. K.So lovely place! Clean and cozy inside and the playing aria is great because you can see all the kids. Kids party is well organised and managed by the team. A bit dirty parking but it's a farm type place with animals and all so can deal with it. .
L. P.I love this family run farm. They have great staff who can't do enough for you. Their food is largely produced on their farm and is so fresh. Their scones and cakes are delicious and their home made pizzas from their pizza oven are to die for.
The animals are clearly loved and it's such a nice lay out for walking with small kids. I love the horse and cart ride around the farm and the indoor play area is so clean and well maintained.
In the winter they have wood burning stoves running which is so cosy after being out around the farm.

Have an indoor 'Monkey Maze' play area which doesn't get too busy, and the food is excellent - very nice wood fired pizza.
For a sunny day the outside playground is great, you can go for a nice stroll around the farm , and visit the forest where the kids might find some fairy doors in the trees.

M. I.Very nice place if you want to host kids party with the smallest amount of effort ! Homemade pizzas are great ! We had a group of 12 girls in age 6 to 8 and all of them did not notice how fast 2.5h went :)
N. M.I came here on a school tour with 90 children. We were left standing around for long periods of time throughout the day, the woman who seemed to be in charge shouted at one of her young guides while children stood watching, the unhappy girl then took us on a very unenthusiastic tour of the farm (during which time she explained that a baby goat is called a ewe!!!). The food was very poor quality junk food rather than the farm-fresh produce advertised and portions were pitiful, even by 5 year old standards. There was a mix-up at the end of the day as staff member had written down an incorrect leaving-time ( l myself had rang to clarify these details the previous day), we were asked to leave twice before the lady "in charge" relented and allowed us to stay in the playground untill our buses arrived at the arranged time. This seemed odd as there were no other people at the farm or waiting to come in, but it was certainly in keeping with the rude, unprofessional attitude that we had encountered throughout the day.
I really wanted to like this place as it is a lovely farm and a great day out for children but, my colleagues and I left feeling "ripped off" and disappointed. Despite this experience, I thought that the farm was lovely and the owner was very friendly and nice. It was just overpriced (12 euros per child-school tour rate) and the staff were obviously having a very bad day, which I would have preferred not to know about...
* 1 month after this review I was contacted at my place of work by a staff member from Tír na Sí (despite their post on here insinuating that I was never there). Though I felt that this was extremely inappropriate, I returned the call as I assumed that an apology/resolution would be offered. This was not the case! A very angry woman berated me at length and accused me of lying....the rant continued until I was forced to hang up the phone. Unbelievable!!
