Love Tung sing have been eating here since i was a child,and it's a favorite now of my family when we get into the city. Always tasty fresh food,staff always very friendly and provide a great service. Highly recommend a visit it's a great Cork restaurant.

Always my favourite for Chinese in Cork city. Situated in the heart of cork city's St .Patrick street. Have to climb up few steps to reach the restaurant on first floor. Seats are limited but usually not too busy. Covid 19 restrictions and regulations are in place. Good view of the busiest St. Patrick's street from the window side seats. Very delicious food. Bit expensive though. But the taste of the food justifies the price. Drinks available(Wines and beer only). No parking available on site. Have to use the public or Q park in the Cork city. Take away available. There is kids menu. The draw back is that there is jo lifts, so it won't be easily accessible for person with disabilities and old age people because of the high number of steps to climb up. Provides the best quality chinese food in Cork city..no doubt about that. Will strongly recommend.

Old haunt from many years ago back 30 years. Had to visit as in Cork. Was so sorry to hear the passing of a beautiful friend Ger who worked there. No booking. Impromptu visit. Greeted by lovely friendly lady full of smiles. Seated at a window table. Busy with folks going about their day. Views of Patrick's hill. Menu choice excellent. Excellent dishes. Prawn schezaun. Spring house rolls as starters. Wonderful ambience. Busy spot considering it was 17:00 . Brilliant service all round. Well priced. Superb dishes. Copious prawns not shrimp. Got the taste buds going. What an experience I had at Cork's oldest Chinese restaurant. I would go again just to experience what a Chinese in the 60s would look like. You go up the small staircase to the restaurant proper. The decor looks like is the same as it was when it was first opened. The menu was quiet good and covered both Chinese and Irish cuisine. I was a bit taken aback by the being offered an option of either rice or chips with a choice from the Chinese menu. I would have given the experience a 5 but they use way too much salt and I would suggest you specifically ask for no or little salt when ordering. I had difficulty eating the main but they offered to cook me a replacement without complaint. Great service and very friendly staff.

My brother and I had lunch here twice this week As my mother passed on Saturday we decided n Not to cook and treat ourselves to lunch, we We were really glad we chose the Tung Sing Restaurant as as children we were taken here by Our parents and grandparents years ago and We both had our 21 first birthdays here many Years ago, as well as eating here on a regular Basis. We ordered the lunch special two courses You have a choice of a starter and a main course Or a main course and a dessert. I would Recommend the chicken with peppers, the Sweet and sour chicken or the Long post chicken . The main courses are very large And great value for money. The waiting staff are very pleasant and very efficient.

Prior to the lockdown we would enjoy the ambiance of Tung Sing. The food is delicious and authentic. The staff are friendly enough. It is great for dates and events. Now, they have pickup and delivery. They are not wheelchair accessible. There's wheelchair accessible parking nearby. You will need to wear a mask when entering the shop. #familyfriendly #groupseating

One of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Cork, serving tasty dishes, quickly and with a smile, despite the fact that it's an upstairs restaurant (with a very steep staircase), so there's no access for wheelchairs or those with less mobility. Their early bird menu at lunchtime offers great value for money, with large portions and a wide selection of dishes. Just don't go for that on a bank holiday, as the price goes up quite substantially for exactly the same menu that you get every other day of the week.

It's OK. Not the best I tasted. Too adapted to irish culture of food. I'll tell u what I mean with an example: if irish people get pop corn they can't get pop corn, they get marshmallow and chocolate cream pop corns. That's what this Chinese place tried to do with their plate and that's a shame because without that it would be great

Omg food was fantastic. A group of 10 of us arrived without a booking and they got us two tables within a few minutes even with the restaurant was almost full. Would recommend you visit this restaurant if you are in Cork

Probably the hardest gaff we have, closest thing to China in cork I'd say they have the wall down to a tee cause it takes about three year to get up the stairs with everything and most of it is cases of 2 litres and slabs of cans you'd feel like a champion after it alright tho
