Went there as they had couple of vegan options. Not sure if it was because we were excited to eat Mexican food, but the meal was missing flavour. The staff were great and very helpful. Can’t say about the meat options, but for the vegan, unfortunately we did not enjoy.

It is really good. Authentic Mexican food. It is adapted to the Irish palate so it isn't as spicy as most travelers from the Americas would expect. Really cool environment, great music, and great quality. When we finished we ventured back to compliment the chefs. Lovely gentlemen. For dinner, I had the fish of the day (salmon) and it was excellent. The chorizo mash potatoes are good. The nachos are also good. The burrito is simple, but tasty. Get the churros! Great dessert to share. Highly recommend this. They are talking about adding tortas and other classic dishes - so if you don't see something you want, go back and talk to them. They might be able to make it. Or if it is requested enough, they might add it to the menu.

We rang this restaurant up needing seating for a mixed group of twelve adults and kids; they couldn't have been more helpful on the phone and in accommodating our varied needs despite being already busy. The food was great and the service absolutely faultless. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant on all counts.

Really lovely restaurant. After being in lockdown for so long it was nice to get a taste of Mexico for the night. I had a chicken quesadilla, my partner had the Mexican chicken. We had sides of sweet potatoes and chorizo mash. Price was around €18 per main meal including a side. Everything was just delicious, the portions were super generous. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely recommend it as a must if in the locality.

First impressions, very clean, nice decor. A lovely waitress who seemed to be everywhere, taking orders, serving drinks, seating diners, clearing tables(worth her weight in gold). We only had a main course although our waitress brought us small cups of beautiful soup (different every day) which went down well. Our burritos were lovely and if the food isn't hot enough they have got hot sauce on request. Most of the evening every table was filled which is a good sign. Would go back again.

Brought the whole family here. 4 kids. Only 6 euro for child menu and they really liked it. Very reasonably priced. It might be weird to recommend a burger in a Mexican, but their burgers are great. I would like some hot sauce on the table, but I got some as soon as I asked and it is made there. Very nice. Very friendly. Busy on a Saturday lunch time even though it was awful weather outside. Decor is very colourful and helped the kids enjoy the meal.

Had a lovely meal there this afternoon. We had the specials - Chimichangas. I think it’s great that they make the food without too much chilli and then bring out fantastic hot sauce so you can spice it up to suit you! Really friendly staff, too. Some of the best Mexican I’ve ever had, will definitely come back if we make it back to Donegal.

Martin and his entire staff made us feel welcomed. The evening menu is first-rate Mexican (for Americans, you need not fear encountering Tex-Mex here!), fresh, and tasty! The lunch menu is a mite limited, with only a few genuine, Mexican selections, but everything they serve--Latino or Anglo--is delicious. Great atmosphere, super clean WC. Highly recommend.

After wandering around Donegal town looking for an early dinner, we stumbled upon La Fiesta. Wow! Fun décor, so much colour as soon as you enter the restaurant. The menu is full of authentic Mexican food. We had a plate of gorgeous nachos with fresh guacamole and salsa, and chimichangas. It was honestly one of the best meals we've had for a long a time. P.s. the desert Platter is definitely recommended.

The food speaks for itself, being Mexican myself I am always looking to find anything that resembles real authentic Mexican food, and La Fiesta did not disappoint! Myself and my boyfriend ordered the steak tacos and enjoyed every bite! I have visited alot of Mexican restaurants in Ireland but this is the first that serves their tacos in freshly made to order corn tortillas, and that makes all the difference. The salsas and guac were made in house and everything tasted just like we were eating at a table in Mexico! To finish we couldn't resist to have a portion of the churros which came with a side of tequila caramel all made fresh in house!To top everything off the service we received from Martin and Felipe was enough to make you feel at home!

Close to authentic Mexican food in Donegal City centre, really good decoration, we enjoy our beers and chilaquiles, and when we finished, Martin the owner came to us to say hi and ask for recommendation to improve the food.. in my case more spice and steak in my chilaquiles would be the best (chilaquiles con bistec).. se had a great time there.. thanks to Martin and Felipe!!
