Delicious food in this excellent award winning Restaurant. Chicken chilli masala dish was fabulous & jumbo prawn garlic chilli masala Curry is in a class of its own. Tandoori Mixed grill was a great choice. Good size portions & excellent service. Look forward to a return visit.

Waited nearly 30 mins but didnt mind because the food was lovely. Staff were very nice. Reasonably priced. 2 picnic tables out the back for outdoor dining. Nice change from bar food/restaurants in the town.

Food was good vegetable jalfrezi(set meal for one)
Expensive, this came up to €16 euro
They gave me white rice when I paid for pilau rice (pilau is more expensive)
Staff guy was just unfriendly, he was on the phone calling someone the entire time while I’m trying to order

Exceptional food, Big job starting tomorrow here with outdoor dining facilities for up to 30 people.
Fabulous staff. Best of luck Guys, we will be back. Ann Coen

Great Indian food with unusually tender and soft meat. The staff are charming and helpful and even the little box where you get your take aways from manages to feel homely and cosy, which is a great compensation as we cant sit inside for meals at the moment.
The inside of the main restaurant looks lovely and homely and comforting and I hope someday I will get to have a meal inside there. Ask for the special chicken with the red wine sauce, its a truely unique Indian experience.

Lovely place, food and staff. Only 4 stars because I wasn't aware of how spicy were the dishes. And even tho I like spicy food, I couldn't finish my dish unfortunately. So I suggest if you don't like spicy food ask them before ordering.

Went here as we fancied an indian meal. I can't fault the food but can the price. We ordered a set menu for two which was E42. This included a vegetable or meat starter 2 curries, 2 rice one naan bread and 2 glasses of wine or beer. There were no popadums to start with- the excuse was that people down south don't like them! We ordered a meat starter. It was a one portion starter ( I have been in other indian restaurants and this is how I know). My husband ordered a lamb biryani but was told it was E4 extra ( as it wasn't included in the set menu) even though it was the same price as my chicken korma. Instead of plain naan bread he ordered a peshwari one - once again it was 2E extra even though on the main menu there was only a E1 difference. The small glass of wine wasn't great. My husband had 2 bottles of beer instead. The bill came to overE57. We reckon it would have been cheaper to have ordered the meal individually. Very expensive for what we had. Because my husbands biryani had rice in it, we also only got one rice dish. It was a RIP off.

Excellent food & service. Best & most authentic Indian food I've had in Ireland. Absolutely worth the price. Note: Takeaway is a bit cheaper than eating in the restaurant, but we enjoyed the atmosphere, so can recommend to eat there. Would definately come again!

Phoned through order for take away collection, was told our order would be ready in 10 mins...had an additional 10 min wait at restaurant 🤔
That aside am giving a 3 star rating as starter (onion bhaji) was overcooked, possibly re-fried and inedible. Main course however was tasty and tender, probably cooked to order given the wait, unlike our starter which was a major disappointment.

Arrived into town late and needed a quick dinner. Late in the season and there wasn’t a lot open but were delighted to find this place. Incredible Chicken Bhuna, onion bahji and garlic. Great service from Kamal. We had a very busy and tired toddler but felt most welcome. Highly recommend!

I fancied a nice spicy meal and I had a lovely meal in Taj Mahal, it was chicken jalfrezi, the chicken was very flavoursome and would melt in your mouth. I had a beautiful window seat. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will return.

Possibly in the best Indian restaurant in the western hemisphere! We stopped here on my speaking tour of north west Ireland and all of my party had a succulent, mouth watering, fantastic meal. So good! Thank you!
