A. R.First time we ordered from this takeaway last night. Booked delivery for 7.45 and it arrived at 6.40. The chicken curry, bbq ribs, chicken with ginger and spring onion were all nice. The batter on the chicken balls and onion rings was awful, thick and gloopy not to mention tasteless. Not sure I’d order from here again, at the same time, maybe different choices would be better. Delivery over an hour too early was a bit inconvenient.
D. O.On a Sunday with cooking lethargy we picked Peony Chinese Restaurant for a take away. We had heard it was good as a restaurant from friends and now as only providing a take away menu we put in our order.
Impressed is an understatement, the experience I can only say was excellent. We experienced restaurant quality in a take away meal. For starters we had the spicey chicken wings szechuan style, which were just what they said they were and so tasty. For the mains we had Siu Hon Chicken with fried rice which was beautiful and so was the Beef Chow Mein. This has been the best experience I have had from a Chinese take away and I can only look forward in anticipation to a time when we can go and be served in the restaurant. This was the first time to eat from Peony but it certainly will not be the last and looking forward to sampling other dishes on the menu, I'm in danger of liking it too much. Highly recommended!
C. H.Good takeaway but they have started using the smaller containers while charging the same price. If you order online they charge an extra 10% because that is what they are charged by justeat.ie.

R. R.nice restaurant, good staff and good food could of been a bit more spicy but thats just me. the only thing i did not like about the place was very cold and we were placesd beside a window with a cold breeze coming around the seals.
