Every dish was an explosion of flavour while highlighting the fresh seafood/meat and produce. The wine pairing went down a treat. An experience you will never forget. Service and vibe was also perfect.

The chef at Allta is very talented! The menu only has a few items, but every dish is perfectly executed. Umami is found in every dish, including the only dessert on the menu. The ambiance is cozy, perfect for a date or a get together with friends. They serve unique dishes at allta, but unfortunately also extremely long wait times. Staff was quite friendly even if excessively slow. I advice to book ahead to get a table at Allta.

Always noticed a long queue walking past here so decided to try it myself. Well worth the wait! I managed to get the last cake left on the shelf, which was a chocolate cake, and tasted delicious!! Staff are really friendly too! Try make it down early as the cakes/pastries tend to sell out fast!

Fantastic, unique and vibrant venue. In a time of stagnant nightlife, corporatised culture and public despondency, it’s great to see a place like allta come to save us. Will be back soon.

Only time available was 1715, a bit early, but I went with a friend for a catch-up and as she was dying to try the food here. I'd read reviews so went in with an idea of what to order. Dishes are to share and we started with house charcuterie with pickled mushrooms and the crispy skate wing with a seaweed cream. Both very nice and the mushrooms were terrific. Not being desert people we ordered a few extra mains to share. The grilled broccoli, pickled green tomato and goats curd and Currach caught scallop, hazelnut and gooseberry beurre blanc were outstanding. We were almost licking the plate to get the last bit of the beurre blanc sauce it was so good. Based on reviews I'd read, I had high expectations for both the chicken scarpinocc and the spider crab bigoli. Maybe it's because we were blown away by the 2 previous dishes, but neither lived up to those expectations. Very nice, but nothing more, these were the only plates that went back unfinished. We ended the meal there. Staff were very nice, attentive where needed, but also let us alone to have our chat. Will definitely return.

We ordered an AlltaBox last night and I have to say that the experience was superb. You can see and taste the care and attention they put into what I can only describe as a culinary creation. The packaging and presentation are first rate, the ingredients excellent and the smarts that went into making it a cinch to prepare without sacrificing any complexity of tastes had me a bit bowled over. The wine supplied wouldn’t be my first choice but it went perfectly with the food. Fair play. One of the best meals I have ever had in Dublin.

Collected an Allta box this weekend. It was fantastic. Brilliantly put together,gorgeous food,easy to prepare and exceptionally good value three course meal for two with wine pairing. Will definitely do this again. I wish these people well,they are doing things right.Well done Allta!

Very impressive. Crab and chicken dishes were stunning, as was the house baked bread. Feels like a labour of love with wine list, menu, decor, vinyl music system all spot on. Go with friend(s) to share plates and order wines by the glass.

Had a great night with my fiancée and 14 month baby. They don’t have high chairs and it’s not really a kiddie place but it all worked out swimmingly. Food was amazing - Baby James enjoyed all the courses. The wine was on point as was the food & service. Well done guys, wish you the best of luck.
