Amazing fine dining Indian food. Love the modern twist. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They have gluten free and dairy free options. The portion sizes were good. We will be back.

Having lived in the Middle East I have very high expectations of Indian food. Finally an Indian restaurant in Ireland that lives up to these expectations. The food is amazing, can't wait for a return visit.
k. s.
Food is really delicious but adapted for the Irish palate - and I don’t just mean the “spiciness” level but everything else as well.
So, I would call Ananda the best “modern and original Indian cuisine” in Dublin, but not the best “Indian cuisine” :) it’s an excellent restaurant either way!
We tried the “Jaipur Raj kachori” for starter, the southern coastal thali, and the goat ghee roast.
Succulent meat and delicate flavours from start to finish- best of Irish meat and Indian flavours. Food is extremely rich so make sure you are hungry. Service was impeccable and ambiance was great. The cocktails are nice and reasonably priced for an up scale restaurant.
The goat ghee roast was my favourite. The appams that it was served with were gorgeous. 🙏🏼

That's my first visit to the place. The food was good but not extraordinary, portions were suitable for only person only. Food has a long waiting period and the staff wasn't really cooperative.
Not worth the hype or the money you pay for.
It wasn't something I would like to visit again.
A. K.
The place is good and ambiance is fabulous, however the food is not the best Indian food for the price you pay.
I was expecting authentic Indian flavours in the thali, it was more westernised.
A. A.
Food was amazing -- rich in flavour and the spices were well-balanced. I ordered the Southern Coastal Thali for main course and Gulab Jamun for dessert. I wish I could try them again for the first time! Will come again next time to try other dishes.
c. m.
Food was fantastic & staff were excellent. Probably the best Indian food I have ever had. Little bit pricey but ideal for a special occasion.
d. O.
Superb modern Indian food with great service.
J. A. O. k.
Beautiful service really gently but quick .
Food was amazing and beautifully presented.
Bill was reasonable for great food
I found the wine list v.expensive I would have liked a reasonable house wine price
C. C.
By far our favourite Indian ever. We go there when we want a nice treat, not the cheapest Indian in the area but worth every penny.
Lamb kebabs to start are our favourite dish, but have never gone wrong with the rest of the menu either!
S. B.
I was very excited to visit Ananda and I was not disappointed! The food! The food! So flavourful, so colourful.
We were seated promptly and given water and poppadoms with a selection of sauces. We looked at the menu for a long time before deciding what to eat! I went with the Jaipuri Raj Kachori for starter and the Bengali Monkfish for main. The menu is pricey but what we received was worth every penny! The starter was so unusual but amazing, the texture and flavour was unlike anything I ever had! The monkish portion was huge, and delicious! We also got the bread basket (the roti was wow!).
My boyfriend got the Seekh kebab and the lamb Rogan Josh which were also fab!
We also got dessert, which was the velvet cloud shrikhand and it was a flavourbomb!
Altogether we paid 120E which I thought was reasonable with 2 cocktails and a complimentary amuse buche!
Go here!

Hard to find but worth it, the ghee roast goat is stunning. Excellent wine list too. Service is top class.

UPDATE: Felt I had to update my review of Amanda after a recent meal. Our meal was a new menu which the Head Chef is trialing called his "Seasonal Menu". It was simply the most beautiful meal we have ever tasted. It was sublime! It was a 7 course journey through taste heaven. A meal every has to try. ORIGINAL: Some of the most beautiful Authentic Indian food you will ever taste! Staff are fantastic and always willing to help guide you through the ample menu. Highly recommend the "tasting menu option" as it give a wide selection of various tastes. Great gluten free options too. Have never been disappointed any time I've eaten here. Good bar too. You know it's good because the local Indian community eat here.
P. B.
If you're looking for a curry to make you a father I highly recommend the prawn curry! Delicious and within 8 hours your wife will have delivered your first born... Six weeks early but healthy and happy with all that curry goodness! Little baby Ana is loving life! Ananda nother thing, great portion sizes! 😋
M. C. T.
The best Indian food! The service provided by the staff is excellent and has an nice atmosphere. This is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. Ah! Don't miss the 'bathroom experience" 😉
p. t.
OMG this place is amazing!!!! We had the tasting menu, 8 courses of the most beautiful looking and delicious food. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Michelin rated 2018 and 2019.
A. A.
Ananda distinguishes itself by bringing modernized Indian food to Ireland. The dishes look beautiful and are put together with great care. The taste however is still similar to other Indian food places in Ireland in that it is adapted to the local palate rather than being authentic Indian (e.g: sugar/honey added to curries to break the spiciness). It’s a great place but spices and flavors are too shy at ananda.
J. C.
Ananda ticks all the boxes for the authentic Indian food experience. Stunning presentation and food rich in flavours your taste buds are certainly in for a treat.will be booking again soon.
A. K.
Five Star plus! The food is really tasty and had me pausing mid bite to allows my taste buds to be seduced snd enthralled. I took an extra hour to eat and I ate my friends food as well. A guilty pleasure.
Í. S.
Very good experience. Environment is really nice, staff is very polite and the food was great. We got the lunch menu and the price was really good considering the quality of the food.
A. P.
Magnificent Indian food. Traditional chicken Tikka massala the best i tried. It's a bit pricy but the food is very good. Try to get in before 7 so you can get the early bird. Definitely recommended.
J. M.
Always great, always a pleasure and another wonderful time. Can't wait to go back. Had the Chicken Tika, awesome but lost out to my other half's baked fish.
h. R.
Fabulous indian cuisine which is definately michelin rated! Great customer service with pleasant staff. Food is amazing from starters to main course its perfection! There is a great lunch menu n value for money! Great big portions served!
b. b.
You can have super tasty food here. Like a food heaven.
R. S.
Very good service and amazing food
J. P.
Ananda really hasn't lost it's touch. Absolutely delicious from beginning to end and the staff were that magic balance of efficient and friendly.
J. M.
This was my first meal here, staff were top notch and food was sensational. Will be back, had a great family event.
A. K.
Really good ambience and fantastic Indian food. Bit costly as compared to other restaurants but good experience.
B. O.
Great service, ambiance & menu, from starters to dessert. Have been many times, never disappoints
R. D.
Amazing food as always, soo happy to be back here in this fantastic restaurant. Staff excellent. Highly recommend. Take a look at the starter. ❤
A. C.
The Hyderabadi Biryani was simply amazing. This restaurant has some of the finest Indian food I've ever had, with the right spice balances and respectable use of cilantro (thank god). I'm not from Dublin, but I am without question coming back here when I'm in town again. Just an absolute gem in Dundrum and the whole city proper.
M. T.
We are very lucky to be within walking distance of this restaurant. Open since the Dundrum shopping centre first started – the most amazing feat of Ananda is the consistency of the food on the menu. When we first started going – there was a dish that I had that was so good – I had it for the next four visits – just to see if it really was as good as the last time I’d had it. I was never let down and thankfully I’ve moved on having discovered that everything they have on their menu is cooked to perfection. It’s very impressive how they have fused Indian food with Irish ingredients and continually push the boundaries to produce new dishes and flavours nicely combined with a very good list of wines. Our most recent visit for my wife and I (no kids thankfully) was the tasting menu. It was spectacular in quality, presentation and flavour. I would have to say probably the best meal we have ever had. Add to this a great team of staff that are continuously topping up your glass with water and can’t do enough to ensure you enjoy your visit. This is a restaurant that if you visit once – will have you coming back for more.
K. S.
The best Indian food that I’ve had in Ireland so far. Loved every course of the meal.
K. O.
Great food - close to the best Indian restaurant I've used.
A. P.
The place is lovely, one tip: you can't get it delivered and neither can you take the food with you
**Update 16June2021**
Well the tables have turned in last 2 years, they never delivered food,
now they have to in order to sustain,
Good food though! Maintain this quality of food lads :)
v. s.
Great Indian restaurant. The staff are friendly , the food is delicious.
( ++ Spicy though)
The desserts are to die for.
R. R. G.
All these stars are for the staff and starters there . Very tasty and very expensive . Expensive I meant in terms of the quantity comparing to the price we pay . We were given a complimentary starter and we thank you for that .
R. M.
Outstanding food. I loved eating in, but I now enjoy the takeaway option. Food quality is still top even to-go. Easy to order and communicate via Whatsapp. I am so glad they now have saag paneer on the menu. Everything I have had there has been good. The butter chicken is great, but ask for it spicy and it's even better.
L. M.
Had a variety of dishes, all very good. Noticeably less oily than standard takeaways, excellent flavours even when on the hotter end of the scale. Not cheap, but definitely the best Indian meal we've had in Dublin.
D. S.
Staff are always a pleasure & I’m glad to see one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to anywhere in the world be offering takeout in these difficult times. Shoutout to Mr. Albert Thomas for helping making this place as amazing as it is! Looking forward to coming back when things are a bit better.
J. M.
Lovely restaurant well spaced out and great food.
A. K.
Fantastic food and service from start to finish, cant recommend highly enough
N. B.
The most delicious Indian food I've had !
P. K.
The food is excellent, the ambience is great, a wonderful place to spend an evening!
A. D.
High class Indian food - extraordinary location - best service
L. M.
We have always had delicious food and a lovely dining experience at Ananda. The take out Dine at Home Menu is also a 5 star!
C. V.
The nicest Indian food in Dublin, and staff are excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly
N. S.
Had the biryani for takeaway recently and it was amazing despite being not very authentic in terms of Hyderabadi flavor. Why not just call it by another name because it's salivatingly delicious regardless of the name! Unlike typical biryani, it came with a butter chicken like gravy (which was yummy) apart from yoghurt raita. I will be back for more tasting once you guys open for dine in :) can't wait
N. V.
Authentic Indian style food and great ambience . Thali & Lassi are the best.
V. D.
Great place with beautiful atmosphere, frendly and helpful staff and amazing food. Can't recomend enough'!!!
M. H.
Great food & service.🙂🙂🙂
E. S.
Good food, good staff but expensive
M. R. O.
Food and service was amazing, really enjoyed everything
N. M.
Fabulous experience with perfect Ambience. Chef made sure to keep the taste as per our expectations. The Chef actually proved that tasty food can be made without making it more spicy. By far the best Indian restaurant with actual Indian taste. Totally worth your money. Highly recommended. Thank you ANANDA.
M. C.
Amazing food, super easy to order online/ over WhatsApp. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options. Overall experience 11/10 :)
N. M.
Always love this restaurant and today was no exception...food amazing though menu has been cut drastically! Group was in house when we arrived for opening at 5.30..
Young child was running around most of evening without any supervision...we did mention to staff who said they had dealt with situation but with fear of covid and boy touching chairs and tables..it didn't look that way....
M. M.
Outstanding as always. I would encourage everyone to try here. Spectacular Indian cuisine with a twist. Fine dining at it's best. Caters to all, service is impeccable. Seriously, I cannot give Anandas a higher rating, though I wish I could. I won't mention any specific dishes here, you'll just have to sample the menu for yourself!
A. Q.
Great food served with a smile. A bit hard to find as the location is tucked away in a hidden corner in Dundrum but more than worth it. Indian cuisine served with style. Go out of your comfort zone as all the dishes in this menu area curated to perfection!
C. M.
Exceptional food and service. From the amuse bouche, to the starters and main courses, the flavours, textures and presentation were sublime. Seafood, vegetables and meat were all a delight, with the scallops and guinea fowl being particular favourites. The service is personable, warm and kind. Next time I might skip a starter, or order two starters, so I can finally try a dessert. Lovely wine list too.
There's an easy drop off point outside the restaurant for anyone with mobility limitations and a lift up to the restaurant, so it's entirely step free. Access from within Dundrum shopping centre too.
The ambiance is quiet and the lighting dark, so using a mobile phone light helps to read the menu (the perimeter tables are brighter). There's also a very nice bar area.
If taking the stairs rather than the lift, it's not the greatest intro as there's a slightly odd smell and it feels quite unoccupied (though they've put effort into making it look well). They might consider adding an essential oil diffuser on each landing, perhaps, as the stairwell is the only jarring note in an otherwise superb experience.
Highly recommended.
M. F.
Very good Indian food if not the best. High quality and very delicious. Tried many options they were all great. Never regret for inviting friends over. Usually it is the restaurant to invite for the any visitors to Dublin. Any everybody loves it. Don't mind kids. Usually busy on weekends so it is better to reserve in advance. Became a bit more expensive than before.
P. S.
We loved every minute and every bite in Ananda. Top class delicious food, amazing service and great atmosphere. It was my 2nd visit with my wife and there'll be plenty more!
S. C.
The best Indian food I ever tried in Dublin . I will recommend it to all my family and friends.
S. L.
Worth a visit!!
J. R.
Amazing taste menu! Really recommend taking the tasting menu with the wine. All the dishes was absolutely amazing. The wine was perfectly matched with the food. One of my top three restaurants all time. Strongly recommended. Little bit of from Dublin though.
P. C.
Cldnt eat main course as all 2 spicy 4 me!!
G. G.
Spectacular service, ambience and food. Will definitely be back. We had a wide range of delicious food and the chef even catered to my vegan friend. The vegan food was some of the best too! Everything was delicious.
K. M.
Wonderful food and service.
Nothing to add.
J.
Great food, consistently good from starter through to dessert. Good service.
K. S.
What a wonderful experience - sublime food, gracious hosts, warm atmosphere. I had the seafood platter and prawn curry - they were stylishly presented and had substance to boot. A special place for a special treat and they do a fantastic, reasonable early bird menu for the quality of what you get .
K. V.
Unreasonably delicious good and stunning hospitality
A. H.
Having waited patiently to have an evening out, we were not dissappointed. Superb food, wonderful staff and atmosphere. Faultless. We'll be back!!
R. Z.
Savage place food was amazing worth to go.... I liked interior of the place..
C. M.
Went for dinner here on New Years Eve. The food was spectacular. As each dish was served the waiter gave a brief explanation, describing to us the different elements on the plate.
The staff were very attentive but most importantly we didn't feel rushed to progress through the courses. We were given plenty of time to reflect on the food we had just eaten and to enjoy our evening.
All in all this was a magnificent experience and I will definitely be returning for more.
S. ..
Best Indian fine dining place in Dublin. Period. Super expensive but very much worth every penny.. loved the food, excellent ambiance, nice and friendly staff... Nothing to complain about..
A. D.
i am surprised why its not Michelin star restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. Bit expensive but totally worth it. Its also in Dundrum shopping center, so very comfortable after shopping. Reservation is surely recommended.
G. H.
It's one of my favourite restaurant in Ireland . Best Indian fusion food. Fine dining. Very professional staff.
Cleanliness 5/5
Food 5/5
Decor 5/5
Love the atmosphere . A must if you are fond of Indian food
P. M.
My friends and I visited Ananda back in Feb. 2018 and the experience was not good. But, wait! I didn't write a review, but contacted the restaurant directly to air my grievances. They dealt with it in a very professional and straightforward manner and offered to make up for a once-off bad night their staff were having. As I was moving houses, I said I would postpone it for another bit. Then life got in the way and it was only now we could go back. I wrote to the director of the restaurant to take him up on his offer. He did not disappoint. We had an amazing night.
Not only did Ananda kept their promise of providing us with their usual impeccable service (Xmas menu is to die for and at a very reasonable price!) but they had a more than generous gesture: of the 4 Xmas menus we ordered we are only charged for 2.
Ananda lived up to their reputation of a guaranteed great dining experience.
But I am still to indulge in the tasting menu. One of the guests at my table has had it before and she keeps saying it is worth the wait. So here I am waiting for the festive season to be over to pop over and check out the famous tasting menu.
P. W.
Food is great but I found them a bit unaccommodating racially speaking. There were empty chairs with window views for the entire duration of our meal. But we were told they were "reserved". N while leaving I heard an couple ask if they could get the window views n they were promptly offered the seats.
Difficult to fathom that. Having said that all the 3 stars r for the food. But very expensive place.
D. M.
One of the best fine dining experience in Ireland!!!
C. M.
Excellent. One of the best Indian meals that I have enjoyed. Two course early-bird men for €26 each was good value. Sorry we didnt have time to sample the very interesting looking desserts.
G. S. N.
3 stars for the food! Very delicious and very well done! The only problem is the staff! Being an Indian restaurant with Indian waiters, they are very rude to Indian customers! They treat Indians with no respect and dignity! And judge you on your dressing style ! I'm not even kidding guys! At this fine dining expect fine treatment only if you're dresses well ! But enjoy the food, it's worth the money ?
G. W.
Excellent Indian food and cocktails in a beautiful restaurant. I've been here a couple of times and often the staff are not very attentive but all in all we're always happy with the quality of the meal. As an Indian restaurant and in my own opinion, Ananda is second only to Rasam in Glasthule. That being said, I would still 100% recommend Ananda and we will definitely be back.
r. s.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Dublin if not the best in terms of quality of food but pricey and do not completely justify the price compared to the quantity served .
M. C.
Three of us went to catch up and have some lunch and we honestly couldnt have chosen better Great service and amazing food There are three starters veg, fish, meat. Each has four items to give you a nice taste. So the fish you get a tandoori prawn, crab croquetta and pan fried fish. Mains i had the thaali and similar to the starter idea they give you four smaller sample bowls of mains to try. The saag being my favourite You could do alot worse, not sure you could do much better though
B. L.
Good lunch menu, restaurant is very nice with good service
R. S.
Food was sensational and the service was excellent
J. A.
Having eaten a wide range of Indian food around the world, including a Michelin starred Indian restaurant, I can would like to compliment this restaurant on innovation and high quality.
Also while certainly a fine dining establishment, the super friendly staff are very welcoming and helpful with our boisterous 3 year old.
Not cheap food but excellent value for what you get. Been back a number of times and the quality has been consistently top notch.
A. C.
Amazing service, food and atmosphere. Went for taster menu so had the pleasure of getting a run down on courses from the head chef. Highly recommend this place, it'll be a wonder if it doesn't get the Michelin star it deserves.
S. D.
The food was superb as always but I will concede I'm probably a bit biased, it's my go to restaurant. It has a very relaxed atmosphere where the staff strike that delicate balance between being attentive and giving you privacy. I always feel I leave as a valued customer and look forward to my next visit.
M. A.
Top tier Indian restaurant- there are only 3 or 4 restaurants this good in Dublin.
S. R.
The best indian food ever i tasted in Dublin!
K. D.
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants around. So glad they are doing collection, its a real treat for a date night.
i. k.
Perfect is an understatement!! I am genuinely speechless about this restaurant! you have to eat here to understand what i mean.
I flew from Leicester, UK Just to have dinner here and then flew back after my meal.
Flawless service as always. Thank you
J. L.
Fine dining at it's best. Well deserving of a Michelin, i.e. if the management want one. Lighting in dining area , perhaps, should provide marginally greater luminance
J. E.
Outstanding Indian cuisine. Friendly and warm atmosphere and great staff. One of the best restaurants I have ever visited, period. A must if you like Indian food but would also like something more than the ordinary.
S. H.
My Partner and I went for the tasting menu, every course was perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better night.
Definitely worth the money, great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
10/10
B. I.
Of the best dining experiences you will have anywhere. this restaurant never fails to deliver fabulous food with great service and amazing flavours. Have eaten here on many occasions and if always exceeds her expectations.
M. M.
Incredible experience. For many years now, Ananda has been a special place to us. The food is sublime, the service always impeccable, informative, professional & friendly. A wonderful place to experience ; truly, upon entering Amanda, you feel you are already in a different world.
T. U.
Food was great quality with lovely presentation.
I. S.
Best Indian restaurant ever.... beautifully presented and delicious food served in generous portions at very reasonable prices considering the high quality...you will not be disappointed! The Biryani in the sealed pot is unbelievable! Everything is good, I'm going back soon!
R. O. C.
Beautiful Indian Food, fabulous deserts.
D. T.
We were there on Saturday 14th July, a group of 6 adults and 3 kids. We absolutely enjoyed our visit and the food and would highly recommend Ananda.
Right from booking the tables, everything was dealt with very professionally. The staff were very polite and looked after us well.
The food was the high point of the evening. The veg thali served in silver ware was mouth watering. My wife loved amritsari kulcha with choley. The best part is that when we asked for spicy instead of medium spicey, the food actually had more spices unlike other Indian restaurants where more chilly is added in the name of spice.
We had vegetarian dishes but they were all so delicious with perfectly balanced spices. My wife particularly liked the hospitality of the staff. We will definitely visit again whenever we are in Dundrum.
If you are looking for authentic Indian flavour, Ananda is the place.
j. q.
Highly recommend this restaurant, go for the tasting menu. Friendly and helpful staff that look after all their customers very well
T. W.
Close to perfect. The best Indian food I've had in a long time. Friendly staff, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Surprisingly crowded on a Monday evening. Reservation recommended.
b. s.
Great ambience!
S. H.
Nice restaurant and great place if you like Indian food. Removed a star as it is very difficult to get water. Staff will periodically top up your little glass but you need to keep asking!
A. T.
One of the best place to taste Indian food. Highly recommended
S. D. M.
Absolutely fantastic Indian. Regional dishes as opposed to the standard Indian menu.
Great for special occasions.
Great value pre theatre menu.
Plush décor and wonderful staff.
Definitely worth a visit!
A. M.
Fantastic flavours, great atmosphere and amazing service.
A. R.
Delicious and authentic Indian food. Must visit. We had ordered the lunch deal. I am a vegetarian, so ordered Aloo Tikki and Biryani. Gulab Jamun for desert. Made in pure ghee, reminded me of home. The staff is friendly as well. It was my friend's birthday, so they put candles on the desert :) Mind you the desert was not on the house though!
F. W. T.
Food sublime as usual! Sweets divine.
Y. M.
Simpy delicious and very well presented food. Great atmosphere and plenty of lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend.
R. d. Z.
Just the best Indian restaurant in town for me. Great food, excellent service lovely ambiance. Highly recommended.
R. K.
Totally worth it. Very reasonable pre-theatre menu with an amazing kebab platter. I had the lamb chettinad which was perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend.
S. M. D.
I am Indian n my better half is Irish. This is the only place I find Indian food to be authentic in taste and would eat Indian food at in Ireland. The non vegetarian Thali meal gives a small taste into 5 different dishes n is yum.. Mango parfait for dessert is on a completely different lever of finger licking yumminess.
L. S.
We had a birthday lunch in Amanda's today. The food was superb, everything was delicious. The service was spot on also. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.
I. Q.
The most amazing Indian restaurant in Ireland. The best balance of fine dining and Indian spices. Highly recommend the tasting menu and a glass of red wine.
N. H.
Great Ethnic fusion food and great service. Lunch is really good value too. It is clear that the Head Chef is extremely innovative and willing to push the boundaries of the typical Indian.
S. R.
Excellent Meal, Great Atmosphere, Friendly Staff. Perfect place to bring business clients out to dinner. Close to the Luas, Bus and plenty of parking too.
V. P.
Great Indian food. Very rich and flavorful. Great interiors and a reasonable cocktail menu. Good experience!
M. A. S. S.
If you are looking for superb food and excellent service. Ananda is the place to go, highly recommended. Always a positive experience
W. J.
Really good fragrant, bright, contemporary Indian food. Ignore the location (suburban shopping centre between KFC & McD...) because once you're inside it is v nice. Alternatively go to the sister ship on Camden St (Pickle). All the positives above and hipster locale.
g. c.
excellent Indian food with a modern twist, really tasty with intense flavours and yet you feel light the next day, a rarity when eating such diverse spices not common to our diets, a credit to the chef that mantains that difficult balance between taste and feeling well twelve hours later
I have been here many times over the years and never disappointed
C. B.
In a league of its own. Don't be put off by the location (in a shopping centre) - the flavours in every dish are incredible and you will always have a memorable meal
L. A.
Food is absolutely AMAZING! Drinks were so good, we got the special one for Valentine’s Day. Service was perfect, will definitely be back.
A. O. M. B.
Service and food was great! Visited the restaurant with Indian friends and mentioned that the taste is like India. For me was an incredible experience!
E. G.
Super food and service. Would love if the cool Indian music was a bit louder.
A. B.
Celebrating my daughters birthday & no better place to do it. Great service, great food, thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you Ananda's
R. M. c.
Quite simply delicious. Flavours are just mouth watering. Love the staters more than the mains..I think the desserts are very over priced. That's the only thing I would fault
B. M.
Probably the most overpriced restaurant i have ever been in Ireland. The food is good but the portions are very small. Its about €60 a head
p. o.
Just forget all other Indian restaurants
This is the place to go
Truly superb
If you wish to guarantee a seat, make sure to book early, as tables can be hard to come by, especially on high days & holidays
P. B.
Great food, something for everyone.
Staff were brilliant and attentive, remembering small details and handling fussy and overwhelmed kids with ease.
a. a.
Just had a really fabulous meal there and special shout out to the lady behind the bar who made THE best Mojito I’ve ever had. Great service, great food, lovely night.
J. G.
Fabulous food good atmosphere. Would highly recommend the tasting menu. Four very Happy diners
E. S.
Great food. Super staff. Unmatched in dundrum for class, quality and service. I would recommend Amanda to anyone with a love of fine dining
M. V.
Good fine dining but expensive. They gave potato fry for thali side dish which is a disappointment for the cost we pay.
G. L.
My favourite Indian restaurant .Very relaxing atmosphere food it just tasty and well presented staff well trained and very friendly . It's a must .
R. D.
Lovely Indian food, service a little slow but it was busy, prices middle range.
S. I.
Delicious food, wonderful presentation and above all excellent service. Had a fabulous evening at Anandas!!!
O. A.
Loved the Tandoor Smoked Lamb Shank, Dum Biryani Rice, Lamb Yakhni, Beaten Silver 😍
C. B.
Amazing food, amazing staff. We would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
g. q.
Fabulous staff l, wonderful starter but really disappointed in main course. Too much meat, no vegetables and textureless sauce that was just spice. Shame.
D. R.
Really good food & athmosphere.
D. S.
Top class food. Top class service. Nicest Indian I've had in Dublin. Always a fine dining experience.
B. C.
One of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. The food was absolutely sublime.
M. S.
One of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. Great service and creative execution of the food.
D. N.
Wonderfully sophisticated Indian food. Great desserts also, not airways a given even in good Indian restaurants.
T. F.
Nice restaurant but the helpings were small. Felt I needed a take away on the way home. Wine also very pricey
G. S.
Nice authentic Indian food... Superb presentation.... Loved the salad, kachori.... Best for Indian vegetarians.... But its very expensive
D. S.
Presentation was great, food was ok. Over priced and not really Indian. Had Biryani and rice was over cooked and too soft.
D. G.
Tasty food and great service.
S. E.

Ananda is a restaurant we had heard of until today; now it's a restaurant we have been to (and would love to go to again). And was I surprised! This is hands down the best Indian food I have had outside of India.
Everything we ordered was visually amazing. There are some items on the menu that give you a taste of Indian food that you won't get anywhere else ... Like the Jaipuri Raj Kachori. I specially liked the fact that the food was properly spiced. The flavours were subtle and perfectly balanced. I was also very impressed with the Varquay Nalli Lamb. It is almost like a deconstructed biryani. The lamb shank was cooked to melt-in-the-mouth perfection. So to was the Ananda Ghee Roast Goat Curry that my wife ordered. We ended the meal with the Rose Kulfi, and again we weren't disappointed.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
If you are looking for Indian food with a twist, this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. I know I am definitely going back.
My only real complaint, if any would be the chairs. At the smaller tables by the windows, the chairs feel a little small and by the time we were done, I just couldn't stay sat on that chair anymore.
