If you are celebrating, they celebrate with with you. Super restaurant for a casual done with friends, or a celebration night out. Covid regulations followed also,. I particularly mentioned this, because not every restaurant does and this is important to me. Book a table and enjoy your time, you won't be disappointed
E. D. P.Amazing dishes and place. We've arrived without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us. We've started with a burrata and prosciutto bruschetta that was delicious on every way. Then we've ordered a spaghetti carbonara and a spaghetti frutti di mare. Both dishes were well served and the tasty was spectacular. The service was good. It is a restaurant that we would return for sure.

G. Z.Outstanding service, they gave good advice on wine pairings and were very accommodating. However, the food was pretty bland. Too much sauce on the porcine mushroom ravioli, didn’t taste like truffle oil and very undercooked shrimp in the seafood spaghetti, not very pleasing presentation and overal the main courses were bathing in too much sauce. For the starters, the tomatoes from the bruschetta were pretty standard - loosely cut on the side , they didn’t get a lot of attention . We expected higher standings seeing the reviews and the wine menu and the prices.

R.I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars, but it is just lacking something, not all courses were consistent.
It is a beautiful stylish restaurant inside, and the owner is there, along with all the staff giving the impression they are Italian.
The starter wasn’t great, a tomato type mix with calamari on bruschetta / sourdough. The bread was fluffy and tasteless, and the calamari was below average, my partner eats calamari a lot and it was not up to scratch and quite rubbery.
Main courses were top class, 10/10. Lasagne was very different, pork and beef, a very saucy lasagne and it melted in your mouth.
I got the house special, at €25 you would expect truffle ravioli to be amazing, and it was. It was certainly quality over quantity, as there were only three “ravioli parcels”. Very fresh and tasty, again melted in your mouth.
High quality dining and food, not your typical hearty Italian home made food.
The side order of focaccia bread was disappointing. A bit tough and tasteless with too much salt.
The aperitifs on arrival were interesting, but cocktails would be better or more of a choice of spirits or beer.
Their wine menu is amazing, very very extensive. We had a glass each and it was beautiful.
The desserts were handmade by the pastry chefs, canneloni and tiramisu were available. My partner got the tiramisu and said it was fantastic.
Overall I was impressed, it was certainly different from the typical Dublin dining experience, 8 out of 10.
I would say to anyone who likes Italian food like pizzas, pasta dishes etc and happy with large quantity over quality, do not come here.
This is on the more expensive side and high quality of Italian food. Very professional staff and service, with lovely surround and views over the quays.

Have tried other Italian themed restaurants before, but I have always walked out happy that I went here. Seating might be one tiny issue as my friend and I had to wait a good while even though we made a reservation, but that's to be expected in a busy place.

E. G. H.Charming atmosphere. The food was excellent, as was the service. We had bruschetta and meatballs as starters, main course of risotto and lasagne, a four-cheese pizza to share, and tiramisu and caramel fondant for dessert. The food was delicious, though the meatballs could've done with some garnish to improve the presentation (see photo).
The service was perfect. The maitre d' arranged for a small pizza to be made for us, even though it wasn't on the menu. In the end, the chef made the standard size, and they charged the price of the small one. That's just an example of the exemplary service.
I'd highly recommend it for a delicious Italian meal and, as it was our first post-lockdown meal, I should add their COVID-19 precautions were in evidence - distanced tables, hand sanitiser and full-face masks for staff.

Would highly recommend the porcini mushroom pasta, it was one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted. Was not a massive fan of my burrata starter but that could just be my own taste.

B. C.Exemplary food and service. We were treated like royalty. They have completely adapted to covid and given something to thoroughly relish in, as if we were back before lockdown ever existed. If you are worried about a wet and rainy day for outdoor seating rest assured this will not spoil your meal whatsoever you are completely covered during your meal, we arrived on a day of torrential rain and were still bone dry after our meal. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and genuinely good natured. I would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. Marko our waiter was absolutely fantastic and I could not sing his praises enough. A genuinely beautiful experience and I will 100% be returning in the near future. And the dessert wine! Omg was melt in my mouth amazing. Steak cooked to perfection like jelly. I could not fault one part of my meal from start to finish. Grazie mille Marko and co!

O.Staff are very nice, the decor is really nice, the wine is quite expensive so have a look at prices online first before coming here... the cheapest bottle is €28 then €33 and prices go up from there. The food is nice. You don't get much cheese on the pizzas, even when you order extra, so if you like a cheesy pizza, make sure to let them know. We complained about the lack of cheese even though we ordered extra, so they didn't charge us for it. Good customer service!

The food was really good and out of the four of us there (each having different meals) we didn't have a bad word to say. Decor is beautiful and the service was exceptional.
A. R.We went as a huge group; I think like 17 of us. We made sure to make a reservation, but they took it same-day, and sat is in their downstairs cellar area. We had a prix-fixe menu where you just couldn't lose. The server was a blast—I wish I could remember his name, he was really funny, even at my expense 😂—and the timeliness in the kitchen and staff of getting our wine and food out was amazing, especially considering the group size.
Overall the food, staff, and selection was amazing, and even though it's not "traditional Dublin fare" I'd definitely recommend it no matter how many people you have with you if you're in Dublin.

Would I say it is “oh my, you can’t go to Ireland without visiting this joint”, maybe. But if you asked me what’s a good low key restaurant in Dublin I should try? This one.
R. V.Ate here while on my own during a business trip and what a pleasant surprise. True authentic Italian food and atmosphere. Sure, you need to wait but this is Italian dining, perfect dishes and time to relax and enjoy the food while taking in the perfectly noisy character such restaurant need to have. Very good and affordable wines by the glass and very friendly staff. Customers were talking with each other instead of staring at phones so clearly a sign of a nice place to go.

R. C.We were impressed! Having spent 3 plus weeks in Ireland, we had been having a lot of traditional Irish fare and loving it, but on this day I was ready for something different and everyone in my family loves Italian.
However, we spent 3 weeks in western Italy last year and we are discerning fans of Italian cuisine. My wife and daughter were apprehensive when we went in, and even when we ordered, but as the food arrived we were back in Florence and very happy to make that trip! Don't hesitate.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and from what I could tell, they were all Italian or Italian speakers, which just adds to the authenticity of the experience. It's in a central location, so it can sometimes be difficult to get a table on short notice, but otherwise they have good availability. The lobster and crab ravioli is perhaps the tastiest thing I have ever eaten.

D. R.One of the best Italian restaurants in Dublin, in my opinion, for many years. Recently, the restaurant has been refurbished and is now even cosier and more comfortable than it used to be. Also, the menu is very keenly priced and the early-bird menu is especially good value with the Bellini thrown in at no extra charge. The Italian staff are all totally professional, efficient, friendly and welcoming.

L. L.As an Italian person I can confirm the food was delicious, ingredients of best quality and pizza dough just perfect. Even better than many pizzas you can get in Italy. If you get the chance to try the white pizza with truffles mozzarella, rocket salad and prosciutto di Parma, get it and you’ll be very happy :)

I´m Spanish so I usually have lunch late and there are no many restaurants open in Dublin the whole day so I went in one day but without very high expectations. Such a nice surprise when I realised the food was amazing and everything great!
After going to many restaurants during 8 months living in Dublin I can say there is no better italian food in the city.
Besides, the waiters are always very very kind, willing to help you, very efficient and really nice. Excellent staff!!
The place could´t be better located, facing the river, it´s nice, very bright and stylish.

Use the infused olive oil to dip!!!! Thanks for a great experience especially after a trash experience at the winding stair earlier in the day.
