Second time around dining in Boeuf, the food is just perfectly cooked. The service is second to none, we were so well looked after. We highly recommend Boeuf for meat lovers 👍 They do have a vegan tofu steak as well :) A tiny detail but it's always appreciated : wine glasses are very fancy !

Usually absolutely delicious, we've been a few times. Last time, the experience was let down by loud, retro 90-00s house music and plastic wine glasses. Both are better left to festival campsites rather than fancy French restaurants! Chorizo croquettes were delicious and the steaks too.

Very good and tasty food. I had a rib eye speak with croquete and soma gratin potatoes with garlic. I didn't like the rose wine tho and the service is a little slow, even tho the restaurant was half full only. So need to go there with time to spare.

Beautiful food with no hassle. We were looking for a place to eat on Saturday and decided upon Boeuf as had heard good things already. Got there just after lunch time and were seated. The menu is quite big and plenty of choice. With a name like Boeuf you knda know what your in for and our meal was really good. We had wings to start and they were cooked perfectly and nice and saucy. Sharing platter for main with 4 different cuts of steak. Decor and service both excellent! Will be back here again and again I feel!

Absolutely amazing meals for both of us. Hidden little gem on William Street South. Added bonus on a Sunday is a free Mimosa or Bloody Mary to help cure your regrets from the Saturday night. Beautiful decor and really friendly staff. From booking to paying the bill it was all enjoyable.

Lovely choice of meat, enhancements, sauces and sides for your perfect steak. Staff can explain every position if you are confused. Nice terrace, might be a bit chilly, but the view of busy street worth it. Steaks are a bit tough to chew, Prime Rump especially. We ordered medium well and medium rare for different steaks and it was mixed up.

Classy service and great food in a minuscule place. All well done and steaks prepared to taste as ordered. Love the details, cutlery, decoration. Very good prices for the area. Been for lunch and on other occasions for dinner, and it's always spotless and the service dedicated and quick. Mathias is a lovely guy. Even the choice of good music style, and at a comfortable volume, creates a great atmosphere for conversation or just relax. Cozy outdoor area for the Summer, covered and heated in Winter. Will keep coming back to this little jewel.

Lovely small dainty steakhouse restaurant, situated on William Street in Dublin City centre. Staff were very friendly and professional. Food was delicious, had the boneless chicken wings for starters, sirloin steak for main and brownie for dessert. Also had a bottle of red wine as we were celebrating my birthday and may have had a shot or two. Had an absolutely wonderful time here 👍❤️ unfortunately Ireland is going into another lockdown so will be a while until we can get back out. Wish everyone the best of luck.

This is an awesome place if you wish to have an awesome Irish beef dining experience. The place is simple, cosy, French chef is on here for you and ... I simply had to come back to have a second great dinner prior I leave to airport. You won't regret.

Fantastic food, great service, can only recommend to try and once tried you will want to return. Portions are just enough and the tasting platter for 2 is a must try. It offers a lot of sides and sauces at a low price to add. Pommes-frites, Raclette potato gratin, croquettes and so much more. Had a lovely filet mignon, at a very reasonable price for Dublin city centre. Excellent choice of sides - different flavours of croquettes, fries, mashed potatoes, gratin and salad. They also had a large range of sauces to go with your steak, as well as a tofu steak option for vegetarians. A live musician added to the ambiance. Highly recommended.

Great little spot with average price, the steaks are not the best you can get in Dublin, but not bad at all either! The fries are great and the garlic potato gratin is delicious! Had brunch here since I heard that the brunch with stakes is a delicious curiousity that has to be tried. I kind of have to agree, it is also not very expensive and at that price point you obviously don't get a perfect stake but it's nice all the same. The staff is very friendly and it is fairly easy to get a table

Great place for a brunch ! Service is lovely and we had live music. Well located. I took « le petit déjeuner de champion » which was a toast with salmon, avocado, salad and poached egg. It was delicious ! Prices are reasonable (more or less 14€ water included ). I would have given 5 stars but we were a bit too cold inside the restaurant. I would recommend it 😊

My new favourite restaurant in Dublin. The steak was cooked to perfection for all 4 of our party (all with different cooking types). The cost adds up due to the way you build your own meal, but it's worth the money IMO as the end result is tailored to you and really well executed. Service was a little slow to begin with but the manager noticed and had a word with our waiter and everything went perfect from there.

Had a lovely meal on the terrace yesterday evening. We chose the Sharing platter with 2 sauces, a crust and 3 sides. We were not disappointed. Steaks were tender and juicy and cooked just how we like. Sides were delicious, one of the best gratins I've had. The chocolate creme brulee was amazing. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful giving lots of suggestions for the sauces and wine. Service was fast and very good. Would recommend to all and eat here again soon.

We had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant. We called ahead for a reservation, and when we arrived we were very glad that we had done so. They were quickly busy, and there was a small group waiting for tables in the street outside. The steaks were excellent, the starters delicious, and the service was also great. We found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality of food that we were served. Wine list could have been better, but it covered most bases. (Dress code is definitely casual)

We went here for brunch and it was great. According to my family the coffee was one of the best they had in Dublin (I am more of a tea guy). The brunch was also good and the croissants you get served in the beginning are delicious. Prices are in the normal Dublin range and the staff was friendly. Will definitely come back again. Lovely restaurant. Fillet steak was perfect. My husband's rump steak only ok. The mashed potatoes were disappointing they tasted as if they had been reheated several times. I had a tomato and pesto salad, it would have been nicer if the tomatoes had been chopped up. The chocolate brownie was delicious. Recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Food is top class. We opted for starter of mushrooms on toast (its a lot tastier than it sounds) and the rib eye for mains, perfectly cooked. Heaters on the outside terrace can be a little warm, but that's my only issue. Service is also very good and attentive. Bill came to around €90 with desert and sides, amazing value for this quality of food in Dublin City centre. Cant wait to return.

A very small but lovely steakhouse. I really loved the way you can customise every element of your steak so you can experience your the meal the exact way you want. It can get very expensive if you go for everything and I would like a side came with your meal as standard but the steak is so tender and juicy it is worth the price in the end. I also got the chicken wings which were lovely too.

To start with the positives, the steak was excellent. However, the charges for things like butter/sauces normally included mean that it quickly adds up to being an expensive meal. The sides did not live up to expectations, with the portion sizes and quality letting down an otherwise good meal (cold mashed potatoes, 3 dry onion rings in a portion). We were also seated in a bad seat by the service area despite the restaurant being 90% empty.

Been there the first time for lunch. Lunch was a very generous steak sandwich (baguette) with peppercream sauce, mushrooms, fried onions and chips, all for a tenner. The waitress, a lady from New Zealand was the heart and soul of the place with a big smile on her lips and her ability to read your wish from your eyes even before you asked the question. It was a lovely experience and an enjoyable meal. Can recommend it to anyone who likes meat. Definitely back when I'm out in town.

I happened on this place while walking Exchequer St. Sat on the porch next to the walk. They advertise grass fed local Irish beef. I ordered a sirloin medium rare. It arrived cooked rare and although it was very flavorful it was tough with a lot of gristle. Very disappointing. I spoke to the server about it. When the bill came they compt my dessert and thanked me for the "feedback," so I changed the rating from 2 stars to 4.

The lunch special Striploin steak sandwich is delicious!! Served with sautéed mushroom and onion, peppercorn sauce, pomme fries for €11. Love love love their fries too!! Very satisfying lunch!! Great value! My husband had it with his colleague one time and kept talking about it afterwards. He said I have to try it so we met here for lunch on a Friday. I totally get why he couldn’t stop talking about it! I loved it!! We ordered the steak medium as recommended by the waitress. It was perfect! I was so hungry and excited so didn’t snap a photo. Went to Boeuf two Saturdays ago with my boyfriend, enjoyed it so much that I brought my parents in the next Wednesday! On both occassions the steaks were amazing, and cooked to perfection, the best array of sides, and the staff went above and beyond to make our night the most enjoyable we’ve had in ages. Special thanks to our French waiter Matthias! Would highly recommend and will be back to try their brunch menu ASAP!

French cuisine, with a lovely taste and modern atmosphere. I got smoked egg and it was so yummy. This plate came in a glass cloche and a waitress opened it front of me, bringing out a smoked smell. For drink I got a sauvignon blanc, and the glass was plenty of wine. They serve all the brunch dishes in a skillet pan. It is so creative! I didn't fell boring at all. Staff were nice and kindly. Food was...good. I got the striploin and it was fine. I asked for medium rare and it was definitely medium bespite being told their medium rare was more on the rare side. I also got the blue cheese peppercorn sauce, which was overpoweringly chewy and almost no peppercorn flavour to it. I had the standard frites also, which were your regular frozen french fries. Service was excellent and they were attentive and also patient, especially when my car's got blocked by my bank for too many transactions in a day. They were happy to wait even despite that it was closing time. Could not have asked for better service. I will go back and order different dishes and will review my rating based on that. Highly recommend - relaxed ambiance, feels like you're on a city break in France My sister and I went for brunch here last week. We were taken with the fact that were seated in a covered area (with heaters) on the street. We were welcomed by a friendly waitress and upon sitting down were given two large complimentary bottles of still and sparkling water. In addition to this, were also given complimentary croissants. This really impressed us. The selection on the menu is varied and doesn't have the standard brunch menu like you'd see in other places. I ordered the Heff Eggs (this came with sautéed prawns and chorizo on french toast with home fries, leaves, crispy Parma ham and poached eggs). It was unbelievable! My sister ordered the Buffalo wings and fries. I tried one of the wings and the sauce was incredible, I asked the waitress how was the sauce made and she told me that it was made up of hot sauce with hollandaise sauce. I was impressed that she was able to tell me straight away. The service was quick and the price is reasonable considering the portion size given. The staff were very friendly. I have recommended Boeuf to friends and family.

Ok positives first: the food is really good! Mushroom on toast starter is divine. The steaks are excellent and perfectly cooked to order. Loads of sauce / extras to choose from. And service is good, professional and friendly. Some small tweaks to make the place 5 stars: no need for the piece of bread and onions that the steaks sit on when they come out, no need for paprika on the fries, more attentive with table water, and a better quality value wine (the Malbec is not full bodied despite being described as such on the menu). Would go back.

Boeuf is all about meat...I am a vegetarian. I went here with my husband and our friends under duress. Luckily they offer a tofu steak that was very, very good. So how was the beef? Well, going by all the moaning at my table I’d say it was pretty darn good. My husband said it was the best steak he’s ever had and I’m sure he will be talking about it for years to come.

Menu reads better than whats actually presented. We were hungry leaving. Waitress was friendly and efficiant. Bill came to €86.50. We were giving waitress €3.50 tip which she refused there was also and extra €3 on table so €6.50. When the €3.50 was refused i took the €3 of the table. The €6.50 tip was giving to homeless person. Which was appreciated.

DOUBLE CHECK BILL! A number of work colleagues and myself visited here on Thursday 7th of March and again (because the food is delicious) on Thursday 21st March for dinner. On both occassions we have ordered a bottle of red wine amongst the table and a glass or two of white wine. On Thursday the 7th there were 2 glasses of white wine ordered and when I asked for the bill I noticed we were being charged for 2 bottles of white wine instead of 2 glasses. We said to the staff, they apologised and removed the bottles from our bill and added on the 2 glasses. On Thursday 21st of March only one glass of white wine was ordered with the meal but again when the bill was received we were being charged for a bottle of white wine and a glass. When we spoke to a waitress to tell her this is now the second time in 2 weeks there has been extra wine added to our bill she told us ‘not to take it personally’ and didn’t even apologise. It has really put me off going back which is a shame as I am down regularly with colleagues in Dublin. I would recommend the food but I don’t believe that over charging us was ever a mistake. Make sure to double check your bill when eating here!
