b. g.The host/head waiter (dark hair, glasses, short beard) was excellent very attentive and handled the front of house really well.
The food comes out quick but it was amazing. Had a pizza and wings.
We came the night of a show in the Bird Gaia place was packed and they were still quick!
L. O.Went here for a bite to eat last Saturday around 5pm. Place was fairly empty & even though they had heaters on, it was cold. Waiting staff very friendly & helpful. Food was just o.k. though. I had fish & chips but the chips seemed to be the frozen variety. My wife had a chicken burger which she says was lovely but my son & his wife had the chicken Kiev which was dry & a bit too crispy. The waiter came over a bit too much to ask if we wanted more drinks even when we were barely halfway through the first drink. He also removed the empty plates as each person finished which should not happen. He should have waited until all 4 plates were finished.
G. H.I popped in here on a Friday evening after work whilst waiting for a friend to meet me. The staff were so friendly. I had a bouquet of flowers and stupidly put them down sideways and spilled water all over the counter. They happily cleaned it up and gave me a jug for my flowers. I had a lovely glass of wine with some feta cheese bites which were delicious! I sat back relaxed and enjoyed it. The view out onto the canal is beautiful and the ambiance is calm and comfortable. Perfect for unwinding after a long week at work. Can’t wait to get back.
#Visit 2: My partner and I stopped in for a bite to ear pre theatre. Happy to report the service was just as good as the first time around. The staff are so pleasant and the food was tasty. A lovely ambience.

That said food I have ordered has been 80% of the time quite nice. Have met some bar men in there who are also very knowledgeable and helpful. If they improved the service, the time to get food/drink and worked on the decor it would be 4 stars

J.Lovely little bar. On the pricey side, but to be expected for the location. Nice selection of cocktails and plenty of other drinks too. Staff always warm, friendly and attentive; although the owner/manager can be somewhat on the prickly side.
Never has to wait long either for table service or at the bar. I have enjoyed basic bar food like wings, which were great. No idea if the rest of the menu is any good.

J. H.I ordered the gourmet burger, but it only came with cheese. It was good, but not €15 good, especially when I didn't get any of the veg. Service was a bit slow, but it was a theatre night. Definitely look at other options if you're looking for a meal before the show, but it's ok for getting a few drinks
T. N.This was my third visit. It’s a convenient pre-show spot for a bite to eat or just a drink. Nice decor, Menu is simple, food is tasty and nicely presented. Staff very cordial (especially the Romanian waitress who served us tonight). Wouldn’t go solely for a meal out, as menu choices is limited and bar tends to get very crowded and noisy.
E. D.After a long search, this was the only place we could find that was still serving lunch at three o’clock. It is an upmarket pub/ wine bar which usually caters for theater goers as the theater is next door. The staff were friendly and there was a pleasant atmosphere. I had the pan fried salmon with mashed potato. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth every penny. One of the best meals I have ever had.

R.I've stopped in here twice and both times was because I was going to the bord gais theatre. The food is nice but cause of its location they charge a bit more than they should. Portion sizes aren't huge so would maybe recommend somewhere else. Think this is a good spot for a few drinks before going elsewhere. Again cause of the location drinks prices are slightly higher. Staff are friendly and polite.
A. S.It's fine for a quick drink after work. Great location around all businesses in the Grand Canal area. The food needs a lot of improvement though not to mention the overpriced small portions. You can notice that it's usually empty around lunch time, while nearby restaurants are constantly booked out.

We arrived in to Cafe H and even though it was extremely busy they found a table for us and served us quickly. We just shared some chicken wings but they were great chicken wings and the portion was huge. Cocktails are great, service excellent.

Owner Rita is very friendly and goes out of her way to ensure that her guests are happy. I usually have Guinness, but do try their Rum punch.

I.Great staff. Alex and Raluca are absolute gems, always give friendly service with a smile. Rita is absolutely amazing, she owns the place but goes out of her way to make you feel welcome.
The food is great. Pizza in particular is really good. Great range of craft beers and spirits. Only negative is it closes at 12.
This is my go to secret gem in Dublin, I'd highly recommend.
A. S.I can’t rate things separately so three stars is the average of all my ratings. The place is heavily overpriced - €6.50 for a teeny tiny piece of cheesecake (round piece not even 3 inches in diameter, possibly 2) and €3 for a small cup of coffee is just outrageous! The food was okay but again, small portions, big prices, and the only good thing yesterday was the fact that the waiter was nice. We had to wait long for the bill though, in spite of my companion approaching them.
