Coppinger Row is a lovely little spot for dinner and cocktails. The food was very tasty and delicious. The wine selection was good and the cocktails were excellent. Staff were welcoming and very nice throughout. Overall a lovely experience.
G. Z.
Great place to try, food and drinks are delicious, staff are very friendly and the ambiance around it is full of life and music. Definitely recommended and make sure you book in advance during covid times.

Really good food and atmosphere, though getting out after lockdown makes it even better still. One item on the mains was not available but can't fault what I had. Starter, main and dessert were all excellent.

We spent two weeks in Ireland, started in Dublin and headed south around the entire country! We finished back in Dublin. After many fantastic meals, (including a 1 Michelin star restaurant) the 8 of us traveling together, unanimously agreed, Coppinger Row was by far our favorite meal. The appetizer specials (salt cod fritters especially!) were unique and delicious, as well as the mains. I had the rib eye with veal marrow and it was absolutely perfect. Make reservations as it fills up quick. Very charming, we loved Coppinger Row so much we came back for a second visit the following evening!! Definitely a must stop, and they have a fantastic selection of gin!

Myself and my partner went out today for a late lunch/dinner meal and we can't praise it enough. For starters we had croquettes and pear and blue cheese salad that were cooked and made with perfection, for main course we had steaks and we cannot fault it in any way at all, chips were crispy, salad was fresh and tasty and peppercorn sauce complimented the steak. We've been to this restaurant a few times and the service is always exceptional , we were served by Dali and Kevin and they were fantastic with their knowledge of the menu and the beautiful cocktails. Coppinger Row is such an experience and can't wait to visit.

Great food and good atmosphere. The temperature inside was very hot for the end of October though definitely didn't need to wear a jacket
L. A.
If you can get in, it's worth it. They have heaters and blankets for sitting outside and it didn't detract from out meal at all. The food was excellent, although there was a bit of a wait due to how busy they were. Would definitely come again. We had beef carpaccio, sea bass, and duck. All excellent. Good wine list too.

Enjoyed a relaxed outdoor lunch with a dear friend. The service was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious, most especially the prawns a la plancha.
L. M.
Really enjoyed brunch with the family. All the dishes looked and tasted great. Had a Bloody Mary which was sufficiently spicy.
R. D.
Personally, the cocktails were spot on, absolutely lovely. The food choices were limited either by design or accidentally due to which I was left in wanting more. The 2 dishes we ordered were the prawns and the risotto. The prawns were great and risotto average. It's a nice place to enjoy a summer evening in the middle of Dublin.
F. E.
Very good, tomato soup was just delicious! As well as the crab and crawfish melt
The only downside was they don’t have Guinness...
P. H.
We went there on a weekday night, still very busy. It is a popular place for Dubliners, good food and beverages. They have gotten good menus for early birds as well.
J. M.
It's definitely one of my favourite restaurants in town. Their prawns and meatballs are to eat and cry for more. And their cocktails fenomenal!!
M. S.
If you want a winner brunch on a Sunday situated in the heart of the city, that's the place for you. Always busy on Sundays (30 min wait) so arrive early :)
My favorite, pulled pork hash with a poached egg hollandaise sauce. One of the best dishes I had in Ireland!
R. D.
Some of the best food I've had in Dublin. All restaurants should be this way. Sat outside and it was comfortable and cozy despite weather
A. M.
I love this place
ALWAYS dependable, great quality, fantastic service, and delicious tasting
Took 8 people and all the food was served at a great pace and beautifully cooked
Belly pork starter was proper crispy and lovely complementary flavours on the plate.
Venison was amazing
However...the sticky toffee pudding was SUBLIME and beautifully complemented by the dessert wine.
I have been here many times and it is my go to restaurant that always delivers
A. O.
Our favorite restaurant in Dublin (visiting from the states). Food was very fresh and delicious. Cocktails were also fantastic!
O. D.
Very sad to hear of you closing. Beautiful food, friendly lovely staff. You'll be missed.
P. M.
Had early evening dinner. Lovely food and atmosphere
A. E.
I would give this 5 Stars in terms of service and taste. Friendly atmosphere in South Dublin but pretty pricey compared to other restaurants we ate at.
E. S.
Great cosy spot cocktails and brunch. Warm and welcoming staff definitely worth a visit
D. M.
Perfect food and very warm (and knowledgeable) service. So sad to hear it might be closing?
T. O.
Nice food, portions a bit on the small side. Super service
s. g.
Lovely restaurant but food and service disappointing last night
J. F.
Food is amazing!! Staff is beyond incredible! And vibes are fantastic! Strongly recommend the tuna !!
We booked the entire place for a team event, and it was beyond magnificent!
M. B.
Outdoor seating only due to covid at the moment. Food was great. Can recommend Tuna Niçoise salad with anchovies. Nicely presented and great produce.
K. M.
Great place for lunch, good selection in the menu and the staff are excellent.
S. A.
Very nice food.. Great location..small portion.
W. Y. C.
Superb well executed dishes served by friendly wait staff. Everything we ate was fantastic!
S. T.
Fab place to get some drinks and lovely food.. I have been here twice and will defo come back
A. R.
Good food and good service. The brunch outside in a nice day is something really recommended to do.
J. M.
Fun, buzzy place, great food and very friendly and attentive staff!
G. D.
Service was good but my steak was poor value.
S. F.
Was good. Bit pricy for the type of food/taste...
C. C.
Consistently good food, great cocktails and wine list and a really buzzy atmosphere. Coppinger row is the perfect place for a casual dinner or lunch with friends - the staff are always super and the menu has something for everyone. Have yet to have anything but a great experience there!
w. b.
Omg it looks awesome
I just passed here on my way to a maintenance job on Grafton street. It was dark but they had the lights on on over the outside seating area. It looked out of this world and I can’t wait to have a cocktail or two there with my partner in the next week or two xxxx
L. B.
Completely amazing, couldn’t ask for more. Great Food, Service. Thanks guys x
A. F.
Just fab, staff were hugely attentive and food was to die for, thanks all
D. B.
Outstanding!
Great service and Amazing food and wine. Definitely coming back. Soon ;)
A. V.
Delicious flavourful food. Really enjoyed our first outdoor lunch.
S. K.
Fabulous food, cocktails & staff
S. W.
Great food, amazing cocktails and absolutely wonderful service
N. M.
Lovely food, excellent service
J. M.
Had a meal for two here over the weekend. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food was very good. They have some very nice drinks on the menu too, even non-alcoholic (as I was driving). Would recommend.
J. W.
Great vibe paired with delicious food and wonderful cocktails. The Flo & Basy cocktail is ridiculously good and I understand why they've had it on their cocktail menu for years. The Mixed Marinated Olives were okay, the marinate needed more flavour, and maybe some better quality olives. The Croquettes were delicious (wish there were at least three though). The Meatball Linguine was also very good. The Chicken main lacked flavour and didn't stand up to the quality of the other dishes. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was outstanding and definitely the highlight of the dinner (along with the Flo & Basy). Service varied as we were served by all servers because they work as a team. One server was very standoffish and abrupt, while the two other servers were extremely kind and helpful. I hope to return one day to try more of their delicious cocktails and food.
s. b.
Amazing dinner as always. Love this place. Food is always incredible, staff are so friendly and the cocktails are to die for. Try the espresso martini it’s the best version I’ve had anywhere!!!
G. W.
Lovely spot for brunch in a really busy little side street in the creative quarter of Dublin. The food and coffee is very good. The only thing that bothers me are the outdoor tables - there is a bar that runs horizontal to the ground which makes it uncomfortable to put your legs under the table. Other than that, I have nothing but compliments for this place.
C. H.
I love this place. The menu, the specials, the friendly staff, nice cocktails, lovely wines, and lovely atmosphere. I always enjoy an evening in Coppinger Row! The jamon and manchego croquettes, octopus (when it's on special), garlic and chili prawns, prawn linguine and sticky toffee pudding are all delicious.
E. S.
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. We went for a late dinner on a Friday night and it was fantastic. Delicious food. Great ambiance - classy but not fussy. Exceptional staff that made us and our young daughter feel incredibly welcome (thank you Gordon!). 5+++ stars.
N. O.
Nice restaurant with good food. The early bird is a reasonably priced option but the a la carte is overpriced for the quality of the food, handy for pre theatre dinner if you are heading ti the Gaiety which is a short stroll away. There's nothing remarkable about the atmosphere, it's just a regular dining experience.
T. D.
Excellent food and better service. The location is my favourite part of Dublin and this cool gem suits the area perfectly. Myself and my party were served by Emily, and every aspect of the night was fantastic. Will most definitely be back soon..
A. S.
Great food and good drink selection!
B. D.
Very friend staff and nice food.
S. V.
I went for brunch with a group of 10 and we were very well looked after. I had the brunch special (eggs & salmon) which was delicious, cooked well and it was filling & satisfying but did not make you feel sluggish. I have to say the cocktails are some of the best brunch cocktails I've had and they alone are worth the trip to the hard to pronounce Coppinger Row. I had the strawberry blond - sooooo refreshing and delicious.
R. O.
I've been here multiple times and each visit gets better. Lunch or dinner, amazing.
F.
Super dinner with friends last night. Cocktails were really good. Steak was exceptional as was the salad. And the coffee was yummy!
T. K.
This was one of the best meals ever, topped with great atmosphere and extremely attentive and knowledgeable staff. Steak cooked to perfection, and the desert? Are you kidding me? The dessert? Chocolate Fudge Brownie was out of this world. Everybody at the table wanted a taste. Absolutely divine.
A. M.
Almost five! Absolutely fantastic atmosphere in the evening with close tables, bubbly staff and lots of candles. The food is extremely tasty, as are the cocktails. Watch out, you'll spend more time and money here than you planned! Large portions.
A. M.
The location is very nice, a silent corner right next to the pyg, which is quite an entertainment on its own, if you’re observing people from the terrace. Even tho the place is listed as suitable for a dinner, I had hard times picking something. Ended up with a meal with truffles, which was an absolute disappointment. I couldn’t taste nor even smell any truffles. So I’m left with an impression that it was an absolute scum. 100 grams of wild mushrooms and another 100 of pastry for over 20 euro, not even filling. Great for cocktails tho, nice smoking terrace.
M. M.
We had a 3-course set menu as there was a group of about 15 of us for a friend's birthday. I highly recommend their garlic & chilli prawns starter - they are amazing! They have a great whiskey cocktail called "Middleton Mule". The staff were very attentive and polite. We had a great night.
J. O. B.
I love the softly lit room, the relaxed atmosphere and the food. When I eat here it makes me feel a little cooler (a difficult task;-)). The staff are knowledgeable, pleasant and pretty (Shallow? Maybe but surprisingly important I've found!). The venison was cooked to such melt in the mouth perfection I could taste bambi's tears. I can't recommend it highly enough!! Cocktails are bloody tasty too.
M. Z. Z.
We have visited one Saturday in March for brunch with party of 2. It's impossible to book a table for groups of less than 6, however we were lucky and got sited in less than quarter of an hour. Not at the table, we were hoping for... That was given to somebody that came after us without much explanation. Food is good, but quite expensive. Service is kind enough, but could be bit more welcoming and attentive. Overall good experience, but not really eager to go back any time soon.
A. C.
This is right in the heart of touristy Dublin. We went with a January sale voucher which was €51 for a 3 course meal and a bottle of house wine. Can't go wrong there, right!! It was Thursday night so not that busy. Nice space and comfortable banquet seating. Toilets are 2 unisex cubicles which does not suit older men who may have an urgent need. Also there was a unpleasant smell from a sanitary towel disposer unit.
The menu was very limited with a poor choice of mains in particular. For starters we had salmon gravalax and ham and cheese croquets which were both quite tasty. We both had steak because nothing else appealed to us which carried a €5 supplement. The steak was cooked as ordered but both were chewey. The fries were fine. Deserts were a vanilla pannacotta and a berry sorbet which were OK. We finished with good coffees and Hennesy brandy. Overall a good but not great meal. M.O.R restaurant but not fine dining. Could do with proper facilities but hey what can you expect for €51. Full price ? I'm not convinced.
R. G.
Family dinner, kids and adults were well catered for. The staff and service were the best we've received in ages, can't compliment them enough. The food was delicious also, looking forward to a return visit.
P. T.
Good and tasty portions. The only reason it has four stars is the waiting time both for being served and taking our order. I recommend the Moroccan eggs and the brownie desserts, gorgeous!
G. C.
Fantastic food, superb service with great cocktails & wine list. Always buzzing & an excellent spot to people-watch if you can get a table outside.
F. T.
Great for brunch and a cocktail
K. “. F.
Great service, nice atmosphere. Early bird is great value with a glass of wine option.
They dont split bills so be prepared.
Only down side was a little heavy handed on the parmesan for my taste but that's a personal taste thing, others at the table were delighted with how much they got!
Defo would be back
K. L.
Likely one of my favorite places in Dublin and one of the few I would re-visit on another holiday.
We ran into another couple who happened to live nearby where we did at the time. We ended up showing up as 4 instead of 2 and they were incredibly accommodating.
The food was fantastic, thoughtfully prepared, and was worth the money for sure. Trust the reviews and visit Coppinger Row on your visit to Dublin.
E. G.
Nice cozy restaurant, I like the"laid back but we know what we a re doing" overall atmosphere. Food is very good, they have a nice wine list. The only thing that always bother me in all restaurants here in general is when they take away everyone's plate while someone is still eating (why???). But I would definitely recommend the place for dinner or even lunch.
C. S.
Lovely attentive, friendly staff . Very attractive eating area and exquisite food. Fillet and rib eye highly recommend washed down with a nice bottle of house . 👍 faultless
A. O. F.
Popped in here for a brunch around 12.30pm on a Saturday. It's clearly a very popular spot as we were informed while being seated that our table would be needed by 2pm, which is fair enough given that restaurants need to maximise covers at busy periods. Ordered two cocktails which took 20-25 minutes to arrive, which is a bit slow really. Food arrive at 1.15 pm and given the 2pm table turnover time, we didn't feel we could relax and take our time over the food.
How and ever, the food was delicious - big portions, flavoursome and cooked to perfection. Will definitely come back here for dinner and spend a bit longer next time. One thing I would recommend to the management is to turn the level of the music down a bit - it really was a bit too loud.
Á. A.
It is a good place but in my opinion highly overrated! I would normally give them 4 stars but the fact that they charge you 1 € for the bottle of tap water made me drop down their score as I have never seen that!
E. O.
The food is nice and tasty but the service is terrible. Were left waiting on 4 occasions where we needed to call someone, twice by standing up and going over to staff. Needs to focus on customer experience but great food.
V. D.
Had lunch there yesterday,Emily was a wonderful hostess and gave us great advice. Atmosphere and food were first class. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
I. C.
Great service from Caitriona ⭐️ and lovely cocktails!
M. H.
My favourite restaurant in Dublin. More than just a restaurant, its an experience. The daily specials always have a good veggie option despite it being a very meaty menu. The staff are second to none, so accomodating and always with a big smile to greet you. Brilliant drinks menu..they make a mean cocktail! Love it on a cosy winters day inside or outside in summer watching the world go by. 5 stars isn't enough 😊😊😊
E. C.
Really good value early bird, €30 for 3 courses. I had delicious prawns pil pil, trout salad with fennel, orange and chargrilled lettuce (a surprising taste sensation!) and then beautiful vanilla panna cotta with rhubarb and biscotti. I'll definitely go back
T. F.
Great food, very attentive service. Unique and delicious. Definitely coming back and would highly recommend.
C. G.
Great food and service. Love the variety and creativity of the menu. Everything was delicious!
E. O.
Great food and service for a large group of 19 people. The set menu had enough variety to keep everyone happy. Would definitely return:)
J. R.
Amazing food and staff.
E. T.
Great food and service. I gave a five as that cannot be faulted. I will most likely not return as the music was so loud I could not have a conversation with my pals as I could not hear what they were saying.
J. M.
Great value for money but be aware they don't take reservations except for large parties. It worked fine for us but 30 minutes later you would have to wait for a table. Excellent friendly staff and a proactive owner
A. A.
Went there for a Sunday Brunch, and was not disappointed: the Moroccan Baked eggs blew me away! Incredible taste in a relaxed environment. Can't wait to go back
S. M.
I cant go to the city centre with out paying coppinger row a vist. They simply have the best food in town! With relaxed vibes in a warm setting, it's the best place wind down after work and also a great spot to start a night out. Staff are fantastic and I recommend highly to all.
J. E.
I only visited for cocktails in the bar but they were the best I've ever tasted! Ask for the whisky sour with chestnut, has to be the best in Dublin...
M. M.
Good food and nice service. Had a sea trout and pulled pork sandwich with green beans. The veggies were al dente, the fish soft and moist, the pork crunchy but could be more juicy. Good local beer (bru dubh). Definitely to visit in lunchtime.
M. T. C. C.
Lovely food, nice vibe, excellent staff.
E. R.
Really good food: original, tasty, high-end. The vibe and atmosphere, along with location, make it a superb restaurant. The only reason I give it 4/5 is because for the prices they charge I expect bigger dishes...
g. t.
Lovely meal in a lovely venue
D. C.
Food ok it was well cooked but overpriced for the portion you receive, staff friendly, service good however I asked for the allergen menu as advised on the bottom of the main menu, the staff member instead told me they knew all the items I could eat, they then went back and forward from the kitchen several times before I settled on something I didn't really want .
C. C.
Lovely menu, and slightly quirky daily specials plus Cocktails with unusual ingredients. Pity you cannot make reservations though unless a large group.
J. N.
In winter and sat in there out door covered patio area in the corner. Blankets on all the seats (except mine). Ended up stealing some one else's. The waitress was running around everywhere. For such a touristy area, I felt like they did their best to accommodate us. It was cold, even with the blankets, but the women in skirts with no tights had to be so much worse. I don't understand that about this city. It looks painful but so many women do it.
C. L.
Have eaten here a couple of times for lunch, found the food and service excellent. Really nice cocktails too.
R. E.
Excellent meal and first class staff. Very well done and many thanks. Not sure when I'll be in Dublin again but I'll certainly come and see you again.
A. G.
Good spot. But can be busy and they don't take bookings for less than 6 people so make sure you arrive before the evening rush. Very good early bird, lots of choice and something for everyone. Very friendly staff and really good lively atmosphere.
E. N. G.
Had the early bird dinner here. Food was good, service was only ok, staff were a bit scattered which was a pity because the food was good.
M. M.
We sat outside for lunch , service was great. Menu is good, modern and food is great. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
L. H.
Lovely food and their gin menu is very good. Food is perfect and the staff is nice.
There's an outside area if you wish to sit in the sun.
E. R.
The fennel salad on the early bird was delicious
J. F.
Excellent restaurant, great food and atmosphere, staff were very friendly, super location, menu is very good, we had a great lunch
A. T.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Swift service. Great atmosphere. Reasonable pricing. The best.
P. c.
Fantastic food, fun atmosphere and v good value for money. The cocktail list is probably one of the best in the city.
M. B.
This is now one of my favorite places to eat. The athmospher is buzzing and the food delicious. Staff are very professional and knowledgeable about their menu. Value for money.
L. C.
Great food and friendly staff. We did wait 20 minutes to receive our check before we could leave, not a place to visit if you’re on a schedule.
N. H.
Absolutley excellent food. In from New York and the quality of food is first class. Highly recommend this Restaurant.
A. H.
The food here is very tasty and is of good quality with a lively and buzzing atmosphere however, it is on the expensive side and the service, in my experience, was slow on both my visits.
E. S.
Fantastic food and great service 👍
j. M.
Great hang out, vibe and food. Has a unique "Cheers" feeling, you are always made feel like Norm.
Crab & crayfish stater is a must. Probs best cocktails in town
B. M.
Accidentally walked in here trying to grab a snack and dinner. This is the place I first learned I really like G&T, but only with good gin and good tonic. This place has both.
T. D.
Great place. Chorizo/mozzarella salad very tasty. Staff also nice. Small minus: orange juice not fresh.
D. L.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere.
Great place to have a cocktail in the sun. Narrow street, so really need to time it well!
B. K.
Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. One of our favourite restaurants in Dublin city centre.
P. D.
I had just a Starter here, as I just needed something very light. It was perfect and I look forward to many future visits sampling their Varied Menu. Thank you, Coppinger Row.
A. S.
The gnocchi was the best gnocchi I have ever had! And the brownie, macadamia nut with ice cream was to die for!! Must get it!!
P. M. V.
Great restaurant and lovely food. Don't recommend seating outside at night as the pub next door gets crowded
T. T.
😁great meal....17 pax and every meal top class....Will definitely return... super service and friendly warm atmosphere ...
M. G.
This a nice place, the food is good and the service fast but it's overpriced. The plates are not very generous.
L. B.
Love the menu and the food. Prices are great. Absolutely love their tomato and basil soup.
Z. B.
Amazing food and friendly welcoming staff. Some of the best cocktails in town. Ask for the Flo & Basy signature cocktail.
N. D.
Staff were outstanding. Food was amazing - they went above & beyond for my veggie request :) Loved it.
S. M.
Interesting menu. Very nice atmosphere. No better place on a sunny bank holiday Monday
M. K.
Meal was nice, fish a lil over done. Pygmalion next door very loud and piling out onto the street can be off putting.
D. E.
Food was good, music was a bit too loud for a chill brunch. Could be nice for evenings / dinner.
J. H.
Amazing service .. happy customers! Once again going to return!!!!
L. R.
Cute little place. Nice brunch. Small menu selection and kind of pricey
N. K.
An authentic spot for both drinking as well as eating. Regarding the second, the menu is very delicious albeit a wee bit more expensive than it should be
D. M.
Really impressed with the food and service here. A little pricy but good portions and superb food

F. M.
Good menu.. prompt service.. a little bit expensive but very tasty food

In Ireland, restaurants often skimp when it comes to side salads and desserts. We're pretty good at mains, but when it comes to dessert you're usually being served something that's been ordered in bulk and kept in the fridge, and side salads are often SUPER bland. I'm happy to report that Coppinger Row commits neither of these sins. Every course was served fresh and delicious.

We have had a number of great meals here in recent weeks. Hard for them to keep up the levels of service in December but still did very well. The food is very tasty / hearty grub. Sometimes over seasoned - however it’s an excellent set up. They soo good vegi dishes as well. Sometimes odd menu vegi is better than what on the menu. For example they always do a really good vegi linguini which is not on the menu.

Super cocktails. Even if you're going for lunch, grab a seat at the bar (no need to book). The cocktail masters are really friendly and the process is cool to see. Food is great and good value
