What a gem. We stopped for a quick bite to eat and had some awesome fresh oysters, amazing fish and chips with the best made tartar sauce and a glass of some great wine ( sorry, I don't remember the name) The wine selection is quite awesome as well.
G. T.
Super tiny restaurant, just cooked of seat available. A lot of good wines and of course the best fish and chips in town. Unlikely the don't serve beer
A. Á. G.
Excellent Fish'n'Chips and oysters! The fish (hake and turbot) cooking point was great. We'll come back for sure!
D. M.
Great seafood and very good wines in a small but cozy restaurant.
J. D.
Service and food was stellar, as was the food! Fish supper was one of the best I’ve ever had and the croquettes blew my mind. Lovely wee spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
M. W.
We really enjoyed the Fish Shop. We dined here during COVID and elected to dine in their small outdoor dining area. The fish was absolutely delicious; perfectly cooked, fresh and crunchy and not the least bit greasy. The chips were so good I ate many more than I intended to. The service was very attentive and friendly, responsive but not intrusive. They have a great wine selection as others have noted, and more than a dozen wines by the glass.

I went there one day with friends visiting Dublin. I loved how they mixed what would be considered fast-food and made it 'higher end', also with an amazing selection of wines. I will definitely come back when I want a little bit more than a simple fish and chips.
T.
Great meal! My girlfriend is extremely gluten intolerant and she was able to have her first fish and chips! Chef / owner was super friendly. Casual small setting. Would stop by again if in town.

I need 6 stars for this one. Fish and chips 🤤🤤🤤🤤. And true great selection of wines.
C. R.
Amazing staff, gave great recommendations on a local pub and places to see in Dublin. The fish and chips were light and crispy and the wine list was lovely. Great spot!!

Excellent food , super chips and very tasty fish.
a lot better than some of the more famous shops around town .

No question but this part of Dublin is being transformed. I arrived without a reservation on a Saturday evening and the place was buzzing! I was quickly seated on one of the last available stools along the long bar counter by the wall which had a gorgeous brick aesthetic. I’m a fish lover and the reputation of Fish Shop lived up to its name. The menu is short and sharp. I ordered a glass of Muscadet from a wine list with a great selection of wines by the glass. I started with a stunning poached oyster with creme fraiche and pickled shallot. So moorish. This was followed by the smoked haddock croquette, a portion of 2 - perfect for tapas style sharing. This was followed by fresh plaice and chips and the plaice was literally hopping off the plate. My only small quibble was the quality of the chips. I would have preferred to see homemade chips, more the Irish style. Surprisingly the shape of the chips was very different, some very thin and overcooked and some quite thick and therefore not crispy at all. The mussels looked fantastic from a distance too. I ended up meeting a lady from Montreal, visiting Dublin to speak at a conference and who had searched out Fish Shop from reading reviews. She was very impressed! Service was friendly and sharp. Fish quality was outstanding and very good value for money. Work on the quality and consistency of the chips and this will be the perfect fish gem. If you like fish and edgy quirky dining spaces check this out. It’s only about 15 mins walk from Grafton Street just across the river Liffey.

Good honest food with a wine selection that you won't get in most places in Dublin. Charming staff too!
A. M.
My favorite little stop in Dublin, have come back several times. Cozy and sleek space in a quiet neighborhood not far from the national museum. They have an excellent wine list and a small but well executed menu of casual favorites like fish n chips and mussels.
P. C.
Great selection of wines and really tasty sea food. The place is great for a small dish and glass of wine, or a plate of fresh fish and chips. They don't take reservations, so first come first served.
J. M.
Very good fish and chips: retains the fish’ taste, the batter stays crispy, the chips are chunky and real, and the wine selection (and knowledge) sounded excellent. Best place for fish and chips in Dublin.
a. r.
Expensive fish and chips! Fish was lovely but chips dry, I expected better for the price. Lovely wine though.
J. v. d. E.
Very lovely hip wine and fish restaurant. Tasteful interior design. Good wine card. Friendly staff and great food. I recommend the oysters 🦪🐟🐠
N. M.
Best fish and chips in Dublin by a mile. Got us a table on short notice. Had the hake and chips and lovely glass of wine. Server was polite and helped us choosing from the menu. Whole experience is just top quality. Consistently excellent.
F. M. R.
This is the best fish and chips I've had in Dublin. The wine list is brilliant and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended
R. O.
Excellent. Excellent. Excellent! It's delicious, fresh and surprising. I have to say though-- I wouldn't recommend the main courses, not because they're not good but because the small platters are much much more exciting and full of taste! Definitely will be back.
M. S.
The food here was absolutely delicious and well presented. The smoked haddock croquettes and beer battered hake were to die for!! The staff are so friendly and gave loads of advice on the menu. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!
b. r.
Absolutely delicious fresh seafood! Oysters were beautifully creamy and the anchovy toast was a great serving for the price! Lovely skin contact wine!
Staff were friendly and left you to your own devices! Great spot for a quick snack or meal, especially if you're travelling alone!
C. M.
Excellent food as always and service from Tommy and Caelan! 😁It's worth going off the beaten track to visit Fish Shop - my piece of advice... always order the crab and croquettes.
C. S.
Great fish and chips, bit of the beaten path but nice small wine bar vibe. Not your typical style but great portion size and piping hot with great quality seafood.
P. H.
Perfect place for fish&chips! Highly recommend! 😉
r.
Price is right for a good quality fish and chips with sauce, but now the sauce costs extra, bringing the price up to the "not quite worth it" range for me. I might not have said this last year, when the chips weren't over cooked and the fish portion was bigger! Have no issues with size of chips portion, but the sauce should be included! Stealth tax! Will try again but FS doesn't seem to be what it used to be.
J. S.
Best place to eat on Smithfield and on of the best Fish & Chips place in Ireland. Highly recommend it and will definitely come back there.
J. H. K.
Cozy place to enjoy fish and chips. €14 for regular fish and chips and the portion was decent. The tartare sauce was a little watery for my taste and the chips were not crispy enough but overall not bad.
K. N.
After visiting the Jameson Distillery or the Guinness Storefront, make your way here for some good food eats. They have two shops in the area. This one is more casual and serves a killer fish burger.
J. C. I.
Best F&C I've had anywhere, including London. Melt-in-your-mouth haddock with a light, crisp breading. Great service to top it off.
L. O.
Excellent, fresh fish - the Hake and chips were delicious and some of the best oysters I've ever had.
E. B.
The fish and chips was great. The seating outdoor was minimal at most. Hope COVID rules will relax soon that we can sit indoors again.
J. G.
Wow! This small shop was a little pricey but the food was amazing! We tried the fish and chips, fish burger and, croquettes, everything was great! It’s very close to the Jameson Distillery so we came here after our tour.
G. B.
Fresh & delicious food with great wine and service - this place never disappoints.
G. W.
Fantastic fish and chips, small place but well worth the money. Good wine selections for a perfect paring. Friendly staff and good catch of the day options not just cod etc.
S. P.
Fish is incredibly clean tasting. Not fishy at all. Plus very light. Just melts in your mouth. The lemon posset is very refreshing. A little hole in the wall gem in Dublin. Prices aren't too high and are comparable to halibut and cod prices on the states.
R. B.
The best fish & chips ever!!! If you are looking for a great food and a cozy place don’t hesitate to visit this restaurant. All the dishes are delicious, fresh and well prepared by Mike. Tommy is a great host and waiter, always explain the wines and combinations. He makes all difference in your experience being there, you will feel at home! Highly recommend and try as much dishes as you can to have the best experience!!! Thank you so much Tommy and Mike!
Big hug from the Brazilian couple,
Bianca + Julio

Wonderful lightly battered fish and chips with a trendy wine menu. Sophisticated yet understated. Confident and knowledgeable staff.
P. A. D. (.
Tasty fish and chips but way overpriced. Portions were also relatively small for fish and chips. Unclear what justifies such high prices, even the ketchup is expensive here! Food and service was good, no complaints there - just can't understand why it merits such a high price.
J. W.
I didn't know you can be so excited about fish&chips - yet it was an amazing food experience and I'm planing to come back whenever I visit Dublin again.
M. G.
I've tried may Fish & Chips in Dublin and so far Fish Shop offers the best!!! Also nice French wine selection
D.
Extremely good burger. A must try if you visit! Nice quite area outside on the side street and a great selection of interesting wines.
A. P.
Really great fish and chips and lovely wine! My partner and I tried a few of the starters and had the haddock and chips and it was all good quality and tasty. We had the house white wine which was fabulous, especially for house wine. The man who served us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the wine, we were very impressed. We would recommend a visit here!
N. S.
It's a small shop in Ellis quay which can seat up to 15 people. I had their classic fish and chips and it's definitely not the best in town. The fish and the chips were not season well.
C. F.
Best fish and chips in Dublin, great service and nice staff.
But you have to try it to see it for yourself.
B. N.
Upscale fish and chips with a great wine list and smart, friendly service. Cozy atmosphere
L. B.
Simple place. The food is good and fairly priced. Good wine selection. Very nice staff.
R. D.
Tartare sauce is superb, chips perfectly crisp. Top quality fish. Only regret is not getting wine, selection is excellent and fairly priced.
C. M.
Incredible locally sourced food! The owner is also a warm, fun and all around awesome host. Can’t recommend enough.
J. A.
The best fish and chips I ever had in Ireland so far, and really reasonably priced. Besides, for those that want to eat in, they have a large selections of wine and other exquisite plates. Worth the visit!
M. A.
Great fish (the Hake was amazing), drinks, and service. Beautiful interior as well - just get there before lunch or dinner rush to snag a seat.
s. L.
Great service, friendly, best fish and chips ever!
G. S.
Hands down, best fish and chips (hake) I’ve ever had. Would go out if my way to come back here.
T. B.
Good Fish and chips, but no beer only wine.
A. C.
One of the best fish & chip I have ever had
B. O.
Nice place. Nice wines.
Very charming and I comfortable.
C. S.
The food is fantastic! And a nice wine list. There's a lovely little seating area on a side street round the corner with 3 tables. They have a gazebo they put up when it's not too windy too.
L. G.
We had calamari (9) to share to start and I had the fish burger (14.50) - both excellent. Fish was beautifully cooked, the batter was fresh and light, the chips were fine, and the prices were totally reasonable. My companion however ordered the special which was scallops (17.50). Very tasty too, but she got... 3 scallops. That's three mouthfuls of food and a plate of chips for 17 quid. I was disappointed really, as I've got the fish of the day and the burger here a few times and been pretty pleased. Also the wine we got was delicious... But a "large" glass was a tenner (come on... It was a small wine glass, not even half full). The place does great fish but we felt a bit stung.
D. R.
Expensive fish and chips but with many fish options, not just cod or whiting. The fish is fried in light, beer batter and is served with excellent home-made tartare sauce, all really delicious despite the expense. Other dishes on the menu are Spanish-inspired tapas with an emphasis on seafood. There is an extensive and well-chosen wine selection but again the wines are mostly in the expensive price bracket, although perfectly matched to the food being served. The seating arrangements are high-stools positioned at the bar or shelves around the walls but they were comfortable and allowed for interaction/banter with the serving staff.
n. r. t.
Awesome fish and chips with daily catch fish :)
J. H.
Great food and friendly helpful staff. Highly Recommended
K. W.
They do a decent fish and chips here. Good wine list.
But, the appetizers / starters are very small so not very good value. And serving mussels for €16 without fries is shockingly stingy and messing with a tried and trusted combination.
A. L.
Nice wine bar. Limited menu. Fresh fish and chips, which they do very well. Nice setting. If busy leave your phone number, go for a pint in McGettigans and get called for your meal.
B. C.
Really fresh fish. Cooked with a light touch and presented with no fuss. The ingredients do the talking. Atmosphere and setting is easy going with a good nod to hipster Dublin, all whitewashed walls and Edison light bulbs. Service is friendly and helpful. In general it sits just a little on the pricey side of value but that said it’s different and most definitely worth a visit or two!
S. S.
I’m on a mission to find the best fish and chips of Ireland - this place might just be it. What I love is that it’s not your standard pub. I got to feel wined and dined by the intimate atmosphere, excellent staff, gorgeous wine selection on top of getting fresh, piping hot fish and chips. We had the haddock choice out of the fish of the days. Superb. No need for any additional sauces, the fish was delicious all on its own. Nicky was our main server and he helped us pick out a wine that was unique to our palate following a Jameson tour, as well as being something completely new that we hadn’t heard of before. Nicky was knowledgeable and friendly - he was even kind enough to offer advice for other restaurants and shops to experience on the rest of our travels here in Ireland. Tommy was the other server tonight and he was friendly and interactive with us as well. Overall, we left with our belly’s stuffed and smiles on our faces. What more can you ask for?
A. K.
My favourite fish and chip shop in Ireland. Excellent food and service. Everything they do is at an extremely high standard.
I'm away in Amsterdam and I actually miss the place.
C. M.
Simple food done exceptionally well with wonderful wine! We loved our recent dinner in Fish Shop, starting with the Oysters which were super fresh and superb quailty, we also nibbled on the smoked haddock croquette which was excellent. For mains we had the fish burger and haddock, both were delicious and the tartar sauce went great with the fresh chips. Anywhere that accomdates oysters to start then a messy burger for mains has my vote! Wine selection is great, stars for us were the Riesling and Austrian skin contact. Aesthetic reminded me of a neighborhood Parisian spot, very simple and practical yet beautiful. Cannot reccomend this place enough, great value to boot!
J. R.
Enjoyable lunch in a small but tidy bar setup with a strong wine offering. I think the chips could be just a little better but the fish burger was perfect. Will visit again in the evening time for sure.
M. W.
Smashing seafood & the only place in Dublin I can find Txakoli
H. P.
Beautiful small place, though from the outside (to a non-local) it can be hard to find. There is a small "bar" to sit at, and only a few tables inside which makes the place quite cozy. There is a vast array of wines to choose from, and the fish and chips there are incredible. The employees there are also incredibly kind and understanding, which made the experience one I am honored to have had. Had I been given the chance during my stay in Dublin, I would have most definitely returned there, not only because the food was great, but the atmosphere was as well.
e. g.
We come here as often as we can and the fish is always exquisitely cooked and super fresh. Chips today were not hot enough. Explains only 4 stars. Come in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine from probably one of Dublin s most exciting natural and biodynamic wine lists.
J. O.
Fantastic fish with a very reasonable wine selection. The chips are just chips though. Burdocks would do a better bag. But nowhere does a better piece of hake. I'm confused. That's why 3 stars. Good fish
Standard chips. The lemon was okay.
E. N.
Delicious fish and chips! Small space but cosy. Wine menu is extensive and the mussels are great too. Really nice for an incredibly tasty meal that's not too pretentious. :)
A. V.
Great freshly cooked fries and delicious, soft fish in a nice crisp batter. I loved the burger too, the combination of the toppings and the sauce was really good!
D. C.
A gem. Consistently top-notch fish and chips. Always an excellent range of wines and sound advice to go with them.
M. C.
The five of us had a dozen oysters (these were the biggest I’ve ever had, nice and fresh, great brine), fried fish croquettes (amazing, tender, great sauce) fish and chips (fresh, great tartar sauce, chips were HUGE, sadly not crispy). Nice wine list, great people and vibe.
M. D.
Amazing fish and chips at this small counter shop that is quite a bit out of the tourist area. The Hake fish and chips was delicious. The service is quick. Totally worth the walk on the river bank.
E. O.
The best fish and chips in Ireland ❤️
n. c.
Generous amount of extremely tasty fish and chips!
J. H.
Hands down the best fish and chips around. Excellent food and even better service (shout out to Daniel). This is the sort of place you’ll be conflicted about telling people about: on one hand you’ll want your friends to know about this place, but on the other you’ll want to keep it to yourself so it doesn’t get crazy popular with the crowds.
S. C.
Fish and chips to die for, crisp light batter with a perfectly soft inside. The fish sandwich is also incredible with fennel and apple complimenting the catch of the day. They also have arguably the best selection of white wine in the city, and a very knowledgeable staff as well who can guide you through it.
K. L.
The food is amazing! I still could not decide which I liked better, Plaice or Haddock. The oysters are terrific and wine selection is carefully curated. Definitely worth a visit!
B. F.
Its expensive fish and chips with a strong selection of wines at a high price point. There was nothing wrong with it but I have had similar for a lower price and in better surroundings. If it lasts then I guess the restaurant trade is less difficult than I was led to believe.
A. C.
Tasty, elegant but simple, super cozy and friendly :) just a little bit pricey, but we'll, it was already expected. Totally recommend it!
J. T.
Loved this wonderful spot, the staff is so warm and friendly! The fish and chips were to die for as well as the unique selection of wine! Next time I'm in Dublin I will definitely return here!
A. O.
An elegant fish and chips location. The clever signage on the front displays "<><" and that subtle nod is further reflected in the menu. Fresh fish paired with crisp, organic wines, selected especially to go with the fair. Highly recommended
R. L. R.
Fresh fish, hand cut chips, home made tartare sauce... What else can I say?
C.
One of the finer dining experiences in Dublin. Elegance without pretension, simplicity without compensation, and thoughtfulness to the finest detail. My friend brought me here over Xmas, and it really made for one of the most exquisite meals we've enjoyed together over the years.
j. M.
I love Fish Shop. It's the ingenious simplicity of the menu (fish & chip mussels, fish sandwich, snacks) the smart wine list (natch mostly) and the general vibe. Sometimes the music is sapping. But I love it all the same.
My only real quibble is you can't have salad and chips as an extra. Which is sort of unfathomable.
But go.
R. M. D.
Best fish and chips I've ever had. Bottle of albarino also hit the spot. Very casual environment, walk in only. will be back for oysters.
P. A.
Great fish. Fresh, perfectly fried, and served simply with a side of chips or as a sandwich. Surprisingly good wine selection.
Small, though. Be prepared to sit at a counter.
S. G.
So tasty. The best fish and chips I've had. Friendly staff, decent wine list. I'll be back.
T. T.
Had a lovely time here on a Friday afternoon for a long lunch. Great atmosphere in a tiny, but modern shop, tucked away in town. The food (although slightly long to arrive) was delicious (and well worth any waiting). Prices were very reasonable especially considering the high quality of the food (and generous portion sizes) and the wine. Speaking of their wines - they had a really nice range of wines to choose from and I was personally impressed by the Sardinian Vermentino they had in stock. All staff were delightful. I will definitely be back.
D. M.
Awesome place. One of the best places to eat fish in Dublin. Best wine list in Dublin too, small but really well chosen. Super croquettas of smoked haddock, smoked eel was lovely, mussels. Everything is simply prepd but with the best ingredients. As food should be.
L. M.
A great new Dublin experience for us. The food was really delicious. We shared a portion of mussels and fish and chips for main and some delicious, if a little pricey, red wine.
A. G.
Had such high expectations for this place but left pretty disappointed. The fish itself was really very good; light batter, fresh fish, however, if you’re planning on doing takeaway (as we did) be warned - the fish burger (€10) does not come with chips. You’re asked if you want chips, you say yes, and pay €3.50 for a truly measly portion, and in all honestly the chips weren’t that great. Don’t expect cutlery (all I was expecting was the typical little wooden fork you get with fish and chips) and after walking half an hour to get there had to eat fried fish with my hands. Also didn’t bother to give any napkins so we had to go back and ask, and all we got was one little tub of tartare between two people with nothing else offered. Just felt he couldn’t care less about us.
By all means looks a nice place if you want to sit in (if you can find a seat amongst 10 stools) but wouldn’t recommend for a takeaway.
N. C.
Great fish and chips. Love the burger with apple & fennel slaw. Fantastic wine selection and superb service from Nicky. A local favourite
G. S.
The Fish shop is a nice experience, good food, with nice wine, it's a small shop, so you may have to wait to be seated, you can get a takeaway if that suits you. The staff are very welcoming, one of Smithfield's good spots.
J. V. D. A.
Really good fish and chips. Good wine €9 a glass and my partner got a €13 glass.. Wine is dear for this style of restaurant. Staff friendly and professional!
s. h.
Very simple yet perfect fish and chips , clearly home made tartare sauce : a definite cut above the usual. Lovely wine selection and warm staff.
E. J. C.
Freshest fish. Unreal chips. The tartar was the best iv ever had. Only downside is couldn't get a beer as its more geared towards wine.
J. D.
This place is divine! Tiny, two parallel bars of marble with high stools, and amazing fresh fish, crispy batter, wonderful chips and unctuous tartare sauce, as good as my own! Organic, biodynamic and natural wines lead the excellently curated list. How I wish this was my neighborhood 'chipper'!!!
C. M.
Oh wow! The most amazing fish and chips I have ever eaten. It was divine! Very cute location with great wine options.
S. K.
The best fish burger in Ireland. Fact! The smoked haddock croquettes and fried oysters are highly recommended too. A great wine list also.
B. M.
I couldn't eat there because I'm allergic to shellfish and crustaceans but this people are so honest and take food and allergies so serious that they told me in advance it was not the place for me because of possible cross contamination. Sadly so because it smells so good and that's quite exceptional for fish and chips places. Anyway we need more places like this where owners take their job seriously.
A. R. M.
A great selection of wines. Good fish. Nice customer service. If you are looking going out of touristic places but still with Irish mood.
A. L.
Lovely wine and great fish
D. A.
Very good fish and chips. Nice service. Bear in mind it is a simple restaurant with no tables. You sit on stools in the bar.
S. A.
The best oysters I ever had so far. Huge and delicious 👌 wine of the house is very nice and don't miss the fish and chips
A. J.
Lovely fish and chips. The salmon croquettes were amazing! Come early. It is very small, maybe only 20 bar stools and no tables.
M. R.
The best fish and chips I've ever tried. The guys there are really friendly too and the space is very pretty. Worth coming back!
e. m.
Had a lovely lunch - croquettes, cockles, eel and fish n chip. The wine experience was exceptional - got to taste a few before we bought - brilliant wine list - ube, gravonia, vidonia ... ahhhh
A. C.
Best fish and chips I’ve had in years with a very friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend visiting while in town!
M. R.
I loved the wine they served. Simple menu with great food. The chocolate mousse was outstanding. Mussels, with bread and salad a little underwhelming but good.
G. S.
Really chilled spot. Great quality and good selection of fish. Interesting array of wines. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
C. L.
Yum. Everything here was just superb and fresh. The breading was perfect, and the hake used in the fish and chips was great. Very low key vibe; will be back again
D. K.
OMG! Fantastic fish & chips! And service! A Google map search suggested here and it delivered! Just a five minute walk from either Museum or Smithfield tram stops! The kind of local restaurant one is lucky to find!
S. H.
Good fish and chips place!
J. B.
5 stars for offering me the fantastic discovery of Albariño white wine! Excellent fish & mussels too. Perfect for the solo diner. Highly recommend.
A. M.
Im writing about the Fish and Chip Shop.
This place is so unassuming and quirky, I love it. The wine list is out of control and I love the fish selection! They have done something special and Smithfield is lucky to have them.
P. A.
Amazing fish and chips, the best I taste until now, in my opinion. Good place to have a nice wine as well.
L. K.
I always look for places that are not full with tourist to have a more relaxed and enjoyable time and even though this place is popular we had a wonderful lunch. the fish is fresh and we'll prepared. Not cheap but also not super expensive.
T. F.
Food was amazing fish tested very fresh and the chips were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I just wish there was more of a selection for lunch
M. C. M.
Excellent food, fish of day and chips just fab.. Not a place to stay long. Eat and go. Wines are interesting and a some very expensive especially by the glass.
J. M.
The fish and chips here are great. The wine menu is interested, but a little overpriced. Service is efficient if a little unfriendly.
M. C.
Great fish and chips. Batter on fish very light. Surprisingly wine is great witb fish and chips. Huge wine list. Recommend a visit
n. g.
Very nice place, fish was really fresh and well cooked.
Fish goujons were fish balls not goujon but over all very nice
D. B.
Small and cozy place to enjoy excellent fish and Chips. Very good wine selection.
T. S.
A fantastic, intimate restaurant serving phenomenal fish and chips; complemented by a great wine list and friendly staff. A true highlight
M. H.
Really gorgeous spot. Really high quality food and wonderful selection of wines. Warm staff and efficient service. Can't wait to go back! Thanks!
P. W.
Best Fish and chips ever, at the restaurant 76 Benburb Street. They also do a fish burger and mussels. Brilliant wine list.
s. c.
Lovely fresh fish.. .yum.. can't wait to go back. Very pleasant staff too.
J. H.
Very nice place with good food, and nice 🍷🍷
K. G.
A modern twist on the fish and chips experience. A fantastic wine menu, excellent fish & chips and the dessert is good too.
B. S.
Awesome!!!! Best fish & chips in town. Loved also music and atmosphere. Super comfortable.
d. g.
Best fish and chips north side of the city. Great wine selection too, and staff very nice.
R. B.
Stunning fish and chips, with a great wine selection!
e. d.
Excellent little fish shop the food is 5 star friendly staff nice wine. It's really a posh fish and chip shop well worth a visit
E. D.
Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Great starters and wine menu too
D. C.
Best fish n' chips in town. And friendly staff. It's definitely worth a visit.
A. C.
Excellent fish. Very friendly staff and a nice chilled out environment. Lovely addition to Stoneybatter.
R. G.
Tasty food but a bit over priced for what it is. It's a chipper that can serve wine. If you don't want wine with your fish and chips, go to a regular chipper.
s. o.
Great wines , savage food, nice casual vibe
J. R.
Great chat with the hospitable manager and the crispy, melt-in-your-mouth catch of the day was too good to be real. I'll be back for sure.
I. K.
Best fish & chips near Smithfield, and definitely one of the best places in Dublin. Selection of vines is great!
S. A.
Very good service , great starters, great wine menu, very average chips, delicious burger-fish, (a star deducted from chips only) amazing playlist!!!
B. P.
Food and service were great. It was nice to have multiple local fish options rather than the standards!
D. H.
Best fish and chips in Dublin, if your willing to pay :) (the wine really adds to the bill but so worth it)
L. T.
Never disappointed fish and chips always amazing... fabulous little venue and great wine.
S. M.
Just gorgeous for sea food lovers. Recommended for all.
B. K.
Amazing fresh fish and chips with an incredible wine list....super atmosphere and lovely staff.
S. P.
Best fish and chips takeout for a Sunday night
P. C.
Loved the service and the staff. Lovely food and good selection of wine.
I 'll come back for sure.
S. M.
Delicious food, great selection of wines and lovely service! What more could you ask for ☺️
L. D.
It's a tiny little place but had the best fish and chips we had in Ireland.
M. M.

The best place in Dublin for fish and chips.
D. S.
Simple quick fish plates of the highest quality possible.
Y.
For all the hype of this place being the best fish and chips - I would say it has splendid fish but really mediocre chips. The haddock was firm yet yielded easily into flakes with a bite and the batter was just a crispy cloud without being too oily - just excellent. The chips however were no different from what you would get from any random pub
M. M.
FRESH, tasty, friendly, amazing wine selection!!

(Translated) I expected more from what is supposedly the best fish and chips in town. Especially since a portion of fish & chips to take away costs € 14 (€ 12 F&S + € 2 for the sauce).
French fries don't taste good. The fish is ok but not anymore.

(Translated) Great Fish and chips.
From 1pm to 4pm only takeout.
Afterwards you can also eat on the outdoor tables.
More expensive than average, but as usual one portion is more than enough for two.
We took the take-out and went to the nearby modern bridge over the Liffey to eat it in peace.
(Original)
Ottimo Fish and chips.

(Translated) Place a little boho, for 50 € (all the same) for two, we took a burger and a f & chips turbot accompanied by a glass of white wine (CD model).
The fish is fresh and therefore good, the plate is generous both in fries and fish
The wine pairing was not top. The place is small and very nice.
So what. We were looking for less sophistication, hence the 4/5

(Translated) True Fish and Chips, no frills. The storefront does not look like much, moreover do not look for the name, it is just a fish in logo. Homemade fries, sufficient dish and pleasant welcome. Only small defect, the place quickly saturates.
Go there, it's really not a tourist place, we eat local with the locals.
