We found this Italian Restaurant on Dame Street! Their pizza was Delicious. Definitely going back for more! It's a perfect Italian Restaurant right beside The Olympia. We were just looking for somewhere to eat! We came across it by chance. I just found out it is one of the best places in Dublin to have pizza. Their pizza is Authentic! It's made the real Italian way too! Real Woodfire pizza! The staff are friendly and the restaurant has a nice cozy atmosphere.

The most delicious pizza ever, the tomato sauce was out of this world, the base so so yummy! And the dessert was delicious and love the idea of the ice cream being on top so is way easier to eat!
J. O. B.
It is one of the best Italian restaurants in Dublin. Good menu with good products. The place is very nice and they have long service hours. The service is very good, we were served by a very polite Brazilian girl and a Chilean waiter who was very charming. I highly recommend this restaurant!
R.
Good quality delicious food for a reasonable price. Nice outdoor area and helpful staff. Please be aware that you will be charged a 5% service fee on top of your bill which is not common in Dublin.
N. S.
It's a small Italian restaurant, so you might just miss it when walking down the street, but I seriously hope you don't. Their pizza is a-ma-zing! One of the, if not the, best pizza I've ever had. Will definitely come back here if we ever were to visit Dublin again.

One of the best restaurants in Ireland! (I am very rarely giving 5 *). The food is outstanding, rich in flavours and perfectly balanced. The portion sizes are good and reasonably priced (prices are Not low but the meals are wort it). The staff is very kind and know what is doing. The place is also very clean and has nice cozy atmosphere. The menu has enough positions and good Vegetarian and Gluten Free options. Desserts are also prepared very well. Even that the place has little space for improvement and some of the prices could be little lower, I will definitely comeback there and I recommend this place

Visited It yesterday. The Pizza was good. Tasty and well done.
The lasagna was like a tomato soup so I wouldn't recommend it. Had to use a spoon to finish it.
The service was quiet slow. We have to wait for over an one hour after ordering to get our food.
M. T.
The food was good and the personnel friendly, but they stated on the bill that they automatically charge 10% extra as a tip for parties of 5 adults or more, which was kinda… weird, as I have never experienced this anywhere before in Europe.
T. K.
Delicious Pizza( top of the top!!), amazing atmosphere. Professional and very welcome and friendly staff. Specially lady with dark hair she was so nice!! myself and my boyfriend will definitely will be back! And I can recommend to anyone to taste this atmosphere and quality food. Once you are there it's make you feel you are somewhere in Italy on holidays;)) Thank you Forno 500!!
S. T.
Deliciously reasonably priced meals in a lively atmosphere.
Wonderful selection of beer, wine and cocktails.
Generous on parmasan.
Thanks for having us!!
R.
Amazing pizza! Really lovely italian, with all the usual italian pastas, pizzas and other dishes. Nice selection of wine. Staff very friendly. No complaints at all, we were 5 happy customers.
U. R.
Cute Italian restaurant, my pizza was lovely but my partner’s vegan pizza was a bit strange as it was too much balsamic vinegar on it. Caponata was very nice , house wine was ok ,tiramisu was good. I liked a lot the music and the atmosphere in the restaurant.
L. S.
Very tasty salad, vegan pizza and dessert. Nice noijito cocktail, wine and coffee too. Toilets could do with a make over and no toilet paper - was the only downside
N. S.
Really authentic Italian Restaurant serving great Pizzas. Restaurant has a very cozy feel to it. Booking ahead recommend. They have an early bird menu before 6pm which is 24 Euros for 3 courses. An open fronted kitchen allows you to see the food being prepared as you sit and wait. Food really good, and great value. Would recommend and return.

I have never been to Italy, but I have been to Dublin, and I can say with no certainty whatsoever that the food at Forno 500 is better than anything that has ever been served in the history of Italy or the Roman empire ...probably
J. R.

Fab. Food and staff amazing. The waitress from Napoli (I think) was so nice and friendly. 100% recommend.
R. B.
I've never been to Naples and eaten true neapolitan pizza but I have had pizza in Milan and Rome, a New York slice in NY and deep dish in Chicago and this is the best pizza I have ever eaten! Wednesday lunchtime, only been open a few minutes and it was phenomenal. The two girls serving/ bartending were really great too. Won't be my last visit!
I. F.
It was a really busy evening, but they had place for two still. Food was delicious, genuine italian pizza. Service was really friendly and quick, but did not feel rushed at all.
o. s.
Forno 500 began with the idea of bringing true Neopolitan pizza to Ireland. It took 9 months for the Forno 500 team to convince the Ferrera family - a family of generational wood fired oven manufacturers - to come to Ireland and build the first authentic wood fired oven in the country. 5 months after opening, Forno received a surprise visit from the Verace Pizza Neapolitan Association (AVPN) and was awarded the certificate for having “true” Neapolitan pizza in the eyes of the organisation.
I’m sad to say I only found out this information after my visit. However, I did by chance order the garlic pizza bread which gave me a taste of what the pizza would be like. It was delicious! The crust had just enough char on the outside and the right texture that allowed it to pull apart which I love in a pizza dough. It was a tiny bit too salty but was still palatable.
I also got the egg pasta, porcini mushroom, Italian sausage and truffle cream and it was delectable. The pasta was perfectly ‘al dente’ and all the ingredients paired well together. It was probably just a bit too rich and again had too much salt.
My guest ordered the spaghetti bolognese and it was almost perfect. Spaghetti perfectly cooked, and the tomato meat ragu was balanced with the right amount of sweetness and acidity. Sometimes tomato based sauces can be too much one or the other I find. Again the only criticism was too much salt.
The servers were really nice but just a bit slow and inefficient. We were placed at a dirty table originally but the server addressed it straight away and cleaned it. It should really be cleaned before hand though. No customer should ever be sat at a dirty table. It took 10 minutes just to order drinks and a further 5 for the food. But in fairness the food came out so fast and I was impressed. Another issue arose with the service when we asked for the bill. Again I was waiting 10-15 minutes and eventually had to go up to pay myself. There was only 5 tables between 2 servers so there was no real excuse for the slow pace.
I would go again for sure to try the pizza and definitely another pasta dish for sure. Could have possibly been 5 stars only for the slow service.
R. N.
Mussels and bruschetta starters were delicious. As were the tiramisu and chocolate mousse desserts. Unfortunately the pizza was not very hot or tasty and the veggie lasagne had so much cheese rather than vegetables my girlfriend could only manage a few bites. I would go again because I think I was just unlucky with the pizza as I had been there a few years ago and the pizza was good.
N. T.
Beautiful restaurant. We came early and was seated on the second floor. It felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves...just awesome. Great service and freshly prepared food. We came short of licking our plate clean!
D. C.
My son and his girlfriend were celebrating a special birthday.
Dee was very kind on a busy Saturday night to arrange my gift of a bottle of prosecco to their table....and then made sure they had a wonderful evening.
G. B.
Nice place. They didn't have the same prices and deals than the website.
Attention Is ok.

Had a fabulous meal on Sunday 1st August.
Staff were superb( Pablo in particular!)
We could not fault the food as usual, we had a lovely pizza and two different pasta dishes, both of which were absolutely delicious.Great to see people eating out once again in Dublin, thanks guys!!
S. L.
Staff is great as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. I find the dough a bit heavy although toppings and overall quality is of my satisfaction. It's a good Italian restaurant overall!
M. M. B.
I was taken there by two Italians who have been at Forno 500 for dozens of times - which is all you need to know about the place. Great, authentic and not pretentious. Prices are absolutely ok and the wide range of pizza choices is exquisit.
C. P.
Delicious handmade pizzas. The menu is extensive and the quality of ingredients is top notch. Prepare for an authentic Italian atmosphere and cuisine.
Would only recommend if you are okay with a busy, loud and slightly crampt eating experience. The food more than makes up for this though.
A. M.
The food here is delicious. It's just like the real food you get in Italy. I ordered a pizza and my wife ordered a fettuccine bolognese. Both were very tasty. Service was excellent and very prompt with pleasant and friendly staff. Only reason for not giving five stars was it's a bit pricey and we ate outdoors in a not so clean lane in the cold. We'll definitely come back again to eat indoors once some normalcy resumes.
C. K.
Recent visit to Dublin and really wanted authentic Italian pizza. We chose Forno and wasn't disappointed. Really good service, proper pizzas and friendly staff. Would visit again when over in Ireland.
L. K.
Best pizza I've had in a long time, the beer is great too and the service. Feels like being in italy. Highly recommended 😊
S. O.
Had a cocktail from here - a mojito, even though it wasn't on the menu, the had no problem making me one. The manager was very very nice. Food looked very good. Will be back again. Even if just for a cocktail. Had vegan options on the menu!! Extra win.
J. S.
I love this place. Great pizza, nice atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. Will come back!
F. D.
Great little restaurant and the pizzas are just like in Italy. Really good bases and lots of red/white pizza choices - all super tasty. Service was fantastic and it’s in an ideal spot for drinking before or after.
J. R.
Popped in here one evening without a booking and got 2 seats upstairs. Service was good but could be slightly more attentive but the food was fantastic.
The beef carpacccio starter was full of flavour and was very good quality. The pizza for mains was unbelievably fresh and tasty with an extremely soft base and delicious toppings.
Finally, the chocolate fondant desert with ice cream was one of the best deserts in an Italian restaurant I've ever eaten, I would go back for that alone.
Would highly recommend!
G. m. c.
The best pizza I've had in Dublin. it was amazing. the restaurant itself is a little tight that's the only criticism I could find. The rosemary potato side was also top notch.
M. N.
Good Margherita and fantastic desserts. However, the cannelloni were overcooked and tasted blant. The staff were friendly, but quite noisy and a bit intrusive.
M. J.
Delicious! The best pizza in Dublin. The stone oven makes all the difference. The atmosphere and meal were fantastic - and they're only 10 days old!
J. W.
This is probably the best pizza I've had! A charming little restaurant with an authentic pizzeria feel. Depending on where you're seated you can see your pizza go into the woodfire oven. Lots of menu options that are decently priced for the quality of food you are getting. If you're visiting and want a break from traditional Irish food this is the place you should go!
S. Ó. G.
Loved it! Really good antipasto. Pizzas were next level. There’s a really good vibe in the small, but quite long restaurant.
A teller of a good Italian restaurant is Italian staff and Forno 500 has that in abundance. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Get here!
D. F.
The Pizza was lovely. It was real wood fired pizza, none of your dominos stuff. We got seats for 5 right under the entrance to the Olympia Theatre. Staff were lovely. It's a pity it rained so heavy and that's the only complaint. Top marks.
D. B.
I visited Forno 500 for the first time since COVID-19 first hit with my girlfriend. It was just as good as we remembered, if not better! The outdoor seating was spacious and well looked after by the waiters. The service was outstanding and the food just as amazing. The pizzas here are to die for - we would rank them #1 in all of Dublin. We will definitely be back!
L. W.
Great food, lovely staff. Friendly, comfortable and casual atmosphere. Can't fault it!
S. F.
Great pizza and for sure the best pizza so far in Dublin (maybe even Ireland) , I highly recommend it and the service is great, anti Covid measures are great, so don't be afraid guys and give a try in alternative get a take away cause is seriously worth it.
A. K.
Very good and tasty
S. U.
Great little place to eat. Lovely decorated and food is served super quickly. Ordered a pizza on the stone and it was delicious. Staff is friendly and on the ball. Would definitely recommend.
K. M. F.
Lovely staff! Most of them are Italians and very friendly. Nice venue and delicious pizzas. We had such a good experience in there, thank you guys !!
R. C.
Amazing food and service!
M. F.
Ate here Saturday evening the place is really nice and staff were excellent. Our food was just OK but other people we talked to loved there food
M. K.
Lovely. My Italian friend likes pizza so if she said that is delicious, I can believe her.
J. B.
Food, wine and cocktails were amazing. Service was excellent. Visited during level 3 so ate outside, everything was well spaced out and fully covid-19 prepared.
R. B.
Very good pizza in a great setting. Staff were friendly and able to sort us a table (we hadn't booked) on what was clearly a very busy night. Located next to the the Olympia Theatre a good choice for pre-theatre food. If you like pizza check this place out.
R. B. O.
Real Italian food with amazing ingredients. The space is nice, the food is super tasty and it has great prices too! I recommend this restaurant to small groups or couples
u. a. g.
Amazing place. Excellent pizza and respect for the Italian tradition. Excellent service and above all the professional and courteous Riccardo waiter
Comparable also with Italian pizzerias
The elegant and welcoming atmosphere
Good value for money
R. A.
Great little place outside the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar area. We ordered 4 different pizzas and they were all good! Service was a little slow, but it gave us time to people watch and catch up on our day in Dublin.
A. A.
One of the best places for pizza in Dublin. Real, authentic Naples style pizza with Italian imported ingredients. Highly suggested!
The calamari starter was very tasty too.
M. R.
A lovely place to eat good pizzas! Quick service, friendly staff and good value for money!
N. H.
Fab food. Well priced. Starters are huge. Pizzas amazing. Highly recommended
J.
We didn't taste the pizza but the pasta are really great. We recommend, it's worth the detour.
S. T.
Amazing Italian food! 😋 One of the best pizza I have ever had.
J. C.
We enjoyed the food, but were surprised when we ordered one special and received two because there is no sharing. Our inexpensive lunch ended costing almost 40 euro. However, as I said earlier the food was delicious and it ended working out as the leftovers werenused as a snack while at Guinness Storehouse.
D. L.
We managed to get a table there despite it being on a very busy evening. Pizza was amazing and priced fairly. Staff was great too. It’s centrally located next to Temple Bar.
D. B.
Food was good however the restaurant is so small you end up felling cramped. We sat up by the window and when they got busy it was hard to get waited on from the people waiting. I would have it again just not when busy of by the front.
M. I.
Very nice atmosphere with friendly staff and excellent authentic Italian food.
A. d. l. C.
Delicious pizza, excellent cocktails and ver good service 👍🏻
D. V.
The absolute best.
It's cozy, it's clean, it's Italian-- and it's the best kind of Italian restaurant in Dublin.
Go andvtry! I highly recommend it and I promise it won't break the bank.
P. m.
The food was gorgeous, also to seat outside with the sunshine was a wonderful time.
J. K.
A very nice place, pizza is amazing there, staff very friendly, great atmosphere. I'd recommend this place
m. r.
Great Italian food in Dublin. Set menu price was reasonable, and there were several tasty options. Nice change from the excellent pub food I'd enjoyed. Friendly service too
J. L.
Amazing food, the chef's must be very well trained better pizza than I've had in any other place in Dublin
M. K.
Excellent pizza! Probably the best one I had in Dublin!
D. M.
One of the best pizzas in Dublin. Highly recommended. Normally you can walk in and get a table within 10 minutes
K. T.
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff... just perfect. Very patient even if my party was the last to leave and we were just talking, sobremesa as it’s called...
D. G.
The food was tasty, and a nice break from the pub food.
j. k.
Great Pizza, and pasta with prawns and zuchini delish, staff really friendly, nice simple food but great quality, good covid policy adhered to, no downsides
A. O. D.
The food was very authentic and some of the best Italian food I’ve had since I was last in Venezia. What really made this a 5 star experience was our waiter, I believe his name was Pablo (the only Chilean waiter), he was great craic and very attentive. We will be back
M. Á. G.
Lovely staff, good environment and crunchy pizzas for a good prize. However they need to work out more the antipastis (i.e. calamari were very salty). Drinks are a little expensive. 6.5€ for a pint and 6.75€ for a glass of wine.
I. E.
Might be the best pizza in town. The price is also good for the high quality food. I have ordered from them before, and the pizza was still very warm when it arrived.
P. C.
Service was great and very friendly but the menu has only one vegan option and it’s not good at all .. and no vegan options for desserts :(
Ł. W.
Great Italian quisine, discrete music in the background, friendly service
N. E.
Very quick service, delicious pizza and tiramisu.
E. W.
We stopped by for a cocktail on the way home, absolutely fantastic service from waiters and management, extremely friendly and even made us something off the menu!
R. R.
Food in Forno is not winning by the presentation but by the taste - absolutely. This is may be on of the best pizza places in Dublin. Decent prices, quick service, even delivery is pretty fast - i tried both options, can not complaint. If you are looking for a place where you can hang with a friends - this is a great place - firstly it's not too expensive as other italian restaurants based in centre and secondly because pizza us really good. Give it a try.
M. S.
Great Italian pizza and awesome service. Clean toilet.
B. M.
Forno 500. I'm always a little uneasy landing into a cosy atmospheric restaurant with a loaded buggy unsure of what the reception will be and if the my two children both under 4 will allow us to have a peaceful meal.
I have to commend the staff for such a warm Italian family welcome and they accommodated our every need. It was so refreshing. The food and drinks delicious. Best meal of 2020.
K. R.
Food was decent. It was my first time visiting and the wait for the food was about 40 minutes for 2 simple pasta dishes which takes away from the experience
A. T.
AMAZING little Italian restaurant hidden in Dublin city centre. DELICIOUS pizza. So flavoursome and super friendly staff!
A.
Really tasty food (two pizzas and a house salad).
J. R.
Nice Italian pizza...lovely spot for lunch
P. K.
One of the best pizzas we’ve had in Dublin. Food was delicious and service was really good as well. We visited the restaurant during Level 3 in Dublin, so we had to sit outside. Tables had enough distance with each other and we felt safe during our time there. We will definitely come back again.
M. I.
I had two pizzas, red and white. The crust is everything, bubbly crunch on the edges, thin like a crepe in the middle. Fresh tomato sauce, not too saucy. Great service. Going back soon to try other dishes.
A. M.
Lovely food. Christmas menu very good value.
H. R.
Very good food
Pizza very good
Fantastics wines,

It was a Tuesdsy night always busy , maybe it's the fabulous food and great staff. 👍

Delicious food.
Very nice staff...
S. W.
Absolutely fantastic food, friendly staff. Well worth a visit

Real Italian pizza, finally! Many restaurants make the claim, this place is serious about what they serve.
T. T.
Delicious food, cosy restaurant and friendly waiters.
L. N.
Very good Neapolitan style pizza for a reasonable price in a classy and relaxed atmosphere.
D.
Lovely atmosphere and good food. I had pasta which was very fresh and my partner had a pizza which he enjoyed. We both had desserts and they were delicious. The only downfall was that the service was a little slow and we were a while waiting for drinks. Understandable though as it was very busy.

Legit.Neapolitan.Pizza. No other words needed! Don't walk, RUN to get your slice of heaven!
G. M.
Without a doubt, the best pizza in Dublin! Top quality ingredients cooked at perfection. Great tiramisu and espresso. Very cozy and welcoming ambience. Super polite staff, smiling (always a plus) and professional. Price very reasonable. Really exceeded my expectations. Overall, the top place for pizza in Dublin. Congratulations to the owners. Please keep up with the quality, that is the secret to success!
D. A.
Very nice pizza, loved the dough.

Our favourite place to dine out in Dublin. We used to prefer a New York style pizza but after a trip to Naples in 2019, we came home on a mission to find the best Neapolitan pizza in Dublin, and although we can’t say we’ve tried them all, we have tried 20+, but none come close to Forno500.
We initially dined here for my fiancé’s birthday on a quiet weekday evening. We shared a buffalo mozzarella starter which was wrapped in prosciutto and was delicious. We then shared a buffalina pizza and a ragu pasta for main, also delicious! No desert, but plenty of cocktails to finish off. We had their own twist on a whiskey sour, a negroni, an old fashioned and the best espresso martini either of us have tasted (tried and failed many times to recreate at home).
Since then, we’ve been back at least 4 or 5 times and have also ordered take out a few times. And every time the staff have remembered us and been SO friendly and welcoming. Cilas, Pablo and all the staff are absolutely magnificent and are a huge part of the reason we choose to go back time and time again.
We have dined in plenty of places where the food is good or the staff are nice but it can be tricky to find both in the one spot. Not here, top class on both!.
Even during COVID-19 lockdown/restrictions we collected pasta which was delicious at home. And when they were allowed to reopen, we dined in and their protocols were excellent in terms of health and safety.
We really can’t wait to come back - hopefully sooner rather than later - and if the lockdown lasts longer than expected, can you figure out a way to make your cocktails “to go” (because we need a few for Aisling’s birthday in February)?!
Happy New Year from Wayne and Aisling 🥰

Belitsimo!! Gratis and delicious !!

This place serves amazing pizzas. They are as good as any pizza I've tried, including many in Italy. The location is spot on, and the restaurant itself looks very nice. The menu is varied and the staff is friendly. The reason for not giving five stars is that they had forgotten our booking, so we had to wait when we got there. But still, I will gladly recommend this place for a lovely, memorable dinner.
L. P.
I had the Forno500 and it was amazing. I'm a pizza person and had been craving good pizza. This hit the spot.
S. B.
Great pizza! Lovely service
S. O. B.
Great food, great wine, great service! What more could you want!?
B.
We stayed at the Air B&B above this authentic Italian pizzeria, and I tell ya...the pizza is damn good! Its in a blue building on Dame Street, stop by when you're in Dublin
d. o.
Great pizza and outside seating area
G. M.
Great pizza, great customer service.
C. B.
Very good service, excellent food! My waiter was a doll, he was so very helpful.
F. M.
5 star for a pizza in Dublin.
For an Italian is not easy to find a good pizza outside of Italy, but this is one of the top 3 pizzeria in the city, from the dough that is pretty soft (Napoli style), to the other fresh and tasty ingredients you have on it... Quantity and quality.
Th place is also nice, pretty casual and a bit noisy as the place is almost always full. Booking is a must during the weekends, and usually also week days.
Any improvements?
I would say the quality of the dessert does not match the one of the pizza.
Highly recommended!
D. P. A.
Great Vera pizza,lovely staff!
A. S.
I walked in on a busy Saturday evening and tried to book a table for later in the same evening. Even though the place was packed we were granted a table in about an hour.
When we arrived later on we showed up with more guests than intended, we changed the number of people for the reservation twice within short notice. Despite our mistakes, the staff made literally everything to try and accommodate us at a very comfortable table, without squeezing us. Eventually we had to wait for a little longer but we got a great spot upstairs and received a very warm welcome and service.
The floor manager and the staff really did all they could to accommodate our needs, they really were the friendliest.
The food was absolutely amazing, the pizzas in particular (I'm from Naples and hopefully this adds validity to the comment!)
We were also satisfied with the price, definitely fair for what we got.
Lots of Italian restaurants abroad are just frauds but Forno 500 Is not one of those!
Highly recommended!

Delicious pizza and warm, attentive service! Thank you!
D. C.
Great pizza, fast service, friendly staff! A must for lovers of Italian food.
A. B.
We absolutely loved our dinner at Forno 500!
The pizza was exactly like we had read on their google reviews before - amazing! We also tried pasta and dessert which was awesome too.
Throughout the whole evening we enjoyed the service and I can guarantee that the waiters put you in a good mood :-)
Definitely will come back there on our next trip to Dublin!
R. M.
Go there to try authentic Italian cousin in the city center. Pizza, pasta, lasagna... pure and tasty Italian dishes. The place is cozy and the staff was lovely. It was curious that Italian people were there tasting the food and saying that it was amazingly delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Dublin and want to get out of traditional Irish food.
Y. Y.
Perfect place!
Myself and my husband had most tastiest pizzas ever, amazing place for couples.
Romantic atmosphere, Italian music, authentic food, professional waiters and good place in the city 🍕🥂
T. K.
Charming little restaurant, and friendly service. The prices aren't bad, either.
Opted for the freshly-made ravioli-of-the-day, which was vegetable, if memory serves correctly, along with a few drinks, and a dessert - all of which was delicious...
Wasn't massively-hungry, at the time, so I just needed a light snack, but glancing at the table next to me, the pizzas looked amazing - so, I guess that I'll make it a mission, to return, someday.
m. m.
Amazing food everytime
And lovely friendly helpful staff
G. P.
Excellent service. Good pizza, but a bit chewy. The see food pasta was very salty. Small mistakes but noticeable for being a mid/high-end restaurant.
Maybe the kitchen staff is overworked or is not managing them selves and they could.
Looking forward to give it another go soon
D. D.
Excellent food, service and prices.
T. M.
Had much higher expectations after reading all the good things from their website & reviews. Not the best pizza I had. Passable. Nice enough staff but we waited over an hour for our order to come through.
F. F.
Great neapolitan style pizza, friendly staff! 👍🏼
A. D.
Very good pizza and cosy atmosphere.
C. O.
Excellent quality of ingredients, too much cheese, not enough char.
S. d. G.
Delivery opinion only: taglialle al ragù were delivered without too much sauce and without parmigiano. The rest all good and tasty 😋
A. M.
Lovely early bird menu and ideal spot, right beside Olympia, staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. I will be back. 😊
E. C.
Excellent pizza coming out of a traditional wood-fired oven custom built by Neapolitan master cratfmen. Service is fast, yet attentive (the pizza bakes in 1 minute!!) and the pizza is how it should be: soft, fluffy crust and authentic ingredients. I'd go back again and again. Top notch.
A. O.
Lovely coffee shop. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
F. S.
The service is incredibly warming, I happen to look like I'm Italian and got properly told off because our waiter thought our table wanted just meals of antipasti! :D it was thoroughly enjoyable to have that back and forth in English and Italian! The pie dough is probably the most delicious in Dublin and the whole pizza experience is delicious. They have a proper neopolitan style wood fire oven and the whole experience delivers on the expectations.
R. N.
Friendly staff. Nice wines. We tried two pizzas and the lasagne. The Napolitana pizza was good. The meatball pizza was good, except for the meatballs which I found very disappointing (I ended up scraping them off, because the rest of the pizza was great). We also got the lasagne, which was disappointing. There was no structure or coherence to it. The lasagne was about 2cm tall and there was 1-2cm of melted mozzarella cheese on it. Very unbalanced. We'll try other Italian restaurants before returning here.
M. D.
Fantastic food and service. Cannot recommend it enough. Everyone in our party loved their food. Super pizza. Will be back again.
G. M.
Best pizza in Dublin. Period. Also best espresso!
s. c.
Brilliant customer service and food
Staff amazing!!
L. V.
Good pizza. I went there with a Italian friend who told me that pizza seems like Italian one.
M. P.
Great pizza and drinks!! BUT IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM DELIVEROO: do not order Forno 500 both times I have order pizzas from the service they’ve come improperly stowed and all of the cheese and toppings slide off into the box. Incredible for a sit it dinner/lunch or your own personal take away but DELIVEROO has repeatedly failed to properly deliver, such a shame!
C. A.
A very good addition among the best pizza places in Dublin. The restaurant is small but cozy and it's in a nice location close. I found the service very nice. Pizza is really good, properly cooked in a wood oven in a few minutes and with a fair selection of toppings. I'll certainly go back.
A. T.
Kindness of the waiters and food's top quality!

Restaurant with friendly staff, let down by variable food. The special starter was delicious. After that, I was looking forward to the pizza I had ordered. Although baked well, I found it lacking taste; I added more and more chili oil in a failed attempt to inject some flavour. The dessert was variable too: the ice cream was disappointing but the chocolate fondant was perfect: very chocolatey and not too sweet.

Loved it, authentic Italian. Pizzas are amazing - you have to give this restaurant a go, located right in the heart of city centre
G. D. G.
This place is absolutely amazing. Here you really get what you paid for. I and my wife came here a couple of times (before leaving a review we always visit a place twice), we visited forno 500° in two different weeks end when the place was literally crowded and people waiting outside the door. Customer care is outstanding. They are so fast that the manager and the other staff can even spend a couple of minutes to make sure that everything was fine and explain in a proper way how the food you are eating is made. I got a margherita pizza and my wife an outstanding calamarata which was as lovely as the same one I got in sorrento years ago. What else would you me to say folks? They just got a new regular. When you get in forget about being from a different country, they will treat you like if you were part of a big Italian family.
Well done guys, I wish you to keep going this way forever.
A big thanks to all the member of the staff.
M. C.
The pizza was absolutely delicious and the service was great.
One star is missing though due to portion size and price. In other terms, the pizza was simply too small for the price I paid but it tasted awesome and reminded me of a couple of cute places I visited in Italy.
J. S.
I wasn't too impressed with the pizzas we got. They were both soggy and too doughy. The mushrooms lacked taste. I agree that the dough and oven would make for good bread but for pizzas I expect more.
P. M.
Absolutely amazing pizza and an overall wonderful dining experience. We walked in on a Friday evening around 7PM and got a table in just a few minutes. The staff were extremely friendly and quick. Food was spot on, the porcini pizza was crispy, salty and mushrooms were melting like butter. The other items we ordered were all amazing. And coffee panna cotta with toffee sauce - pure delight. 10 out of 10, our new favorite spot for pizza!
C. H.
The food was great and service was very friendly; there was a small mishap with the delivery but customer service were so helpful in sorting it out!
J. O.
Starter was good, main course I had a pasta dish which was tasteless and my dessert still had frozen parts. Ordered side order of fries that didn't arrive but was still on the bill and we got charged for the inedible dessert. Bill came to 111 euro and we wont be back.
F. H.
Lovely food and lovely restaurant. Only thing is there is practically no space between the tables (the ones in the front anyway). I had to turn on my side and breathe in when leaving my table to avoid knocking into the people on the next table. The caprese salad could do with a bit of a change up, it wasn't very inspiring looking on the plate and far too much rocket. Other than that a very pleasant experience.
P. V. I.
Delicious and real Italian taste pizza! And great service, in addition to great prices makes Forno 500 the perfect restaurant to go and enjoy your lunch or dinner! If you are in Dublin don’t miss it, you won’t regret :)
Special mention to Teresa and Monica, super nice service and attention! Thank you girls! Pablo and Maria
D. M.
Cozy restaurant, great food, friendly staff and great price. I reserved a week before through Google for 4 people, we arrived 15min before the booking time, we were seated straight way, the service was fast, the staff was very helpful and nice and the dish was very tasty and gorgeous. I really loved this place. I would go back.
S. E.
If you like authentic Neapolitan pizza this is absolutely the place for you. Marry that with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and very friendly service finished off with the best espresso I have had in Dublin and you are in heaven! I’ll be coming back regularly.
M. B.
Very good Neapolitan style pizza right in the city center. Nice and friendly staff, the space is a bit too narrow for my taste. Not 5 stars because in my pizza the parmigiano shavings were actually the cheaper pecorino.
D. B.
The staff were very accommodating for us we had a 7 year old with us and he loved it. We will definitely return. The food was lovely and the prices were reasonable.
T. G.
Great Italian food with a modern twist. Real Napolitano wood fired pizza oven and amazing pasta dishes. And the desserts, desserts are out of this world. Real friendly staff and good wine list. Those ar just a few reasons to visit and enjoy...
H. M.
Real authentic Napoli pizza, cosy laid back atmosphere and lovely staff. I had a vegan pizza option and they even brought me some truffle sauce to go with. One of the best pizzas in Dublin👌
A. D.
You have to go!! The smell when you get into the place and how nice the staff are... Then when you get your food 🤤 OMG!!!!! I got 4 cheese and lasagna. They were amazing. I'm looking forward to come back and to try their delivery for lazy nights... I'd call for reservation if it's Friday or Saturday because I went on a Thursday and it was really busy!!!😍🥰
S. M. D.
Gorgeous pizza & pasta, lovely staff, the wait for food was a bit long but they were busy. Heaters outside too. Will definitely be back for more :)
a.
Our waiter was very knowledgeable and sweet, but we did have to wait for quiet some time before we could order food and drinks, and our appetisers did arrive before the drinks, but they were quiet busy and had a new bartender... Anyhow, the food was very good, but portions are very large, so there was no way I could have 3 courses, and I had only half of my pizza!
3 courses go for 30e, 2 vegetarian options for 1st and main course, I wish you could share a pizza between two and then get desserts but Im bot sure if they allow that :/
There were two people who said they would like the pizza more crispy, but don't be afraid to say so to your waiter. I like it doughy and softer, and it was not "too garlicy" at all!
H. V. d. h.
The 27th of january we ate here and had one of the best pizza's in a long while. The traditional way of making napolitian pizza's over here is wonderfull. A friend of mine had his birthday. He always wanted to tap his own guiness beer. So after asking he could and at the end he even could tale home his own tapped beer glass. This was however a special occation, but it points out the very very high level of service. That combined with the cozy atmosphere made us decide to give the staff a 20% Tip because they had done so well. This was possible because it was also not so exspensive. For 4 guinesses and 2 pizza's your roughly spend 50 euro's.
Thanks Silas for the great service and we will defenitly come back one day
C. R.
We went to Ireland for traditional Irish Food and culture, however when we were looking for something quick for the night in Dublin we went to Forno (because our AirBnB was above it). The pizza was incredible and better than most I have had in the states. Definitely recommend it.
A. B.
Probably one of the best and authentic Italian in Dublin.Great wood fire pizza, nice pasta, awesome desserts and superb coffee.Polite and helpful staff.Tiramisu is a must try while Affogato was a pleasant surprise!
A. N.
Lovely pizzas, I didn't try anything else yet because I went only once, I will definitely go back there. I recommend this place honestly. Staff is very nice and friendly as well.
M. S.
Delicious pizza and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit.
M. B.
Mmmm, one of the few great pizza places in the city! Good, fresh, tasty Italian food in a romantic setting with blues and jazz playing in the background! We had a great time and will definitely go back!
C. R.
I ordered a capricciosa, it was amazing. By far the best pizza i have ever eaten. And I've already been in italy
c. m.
I have tried a number of wood fired pizza places around Ireland and overseas , this is by far the best I have had to date. A must try!!
F. S.
one of the best pizza in town, and great selection of topins
M. H.
I had the Forno 500 pizza and absolutely loved it. So fresh and delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back!
B. C.
City centre location serving really really good pizza. Great coffee too. Staff were very friendly and efficient, service was swift. Faultless experience. Delicious food.
J. K.
Had dinner on Saturday night with family and friends. The pizza was excellent, and couldn’t fault it. The main issue for me was the people queuing inside the restaurant which is a restaurant design/layout fault really. The host station should probably be inside the main door but not within the restaurant. The people rammed in means that the serving/floor team can’t see you or serve you without getting bashed by people coming in and out. It also means a very cold draught for the 5 tables or so in this section.
So the food was great, but make your reservations tablet/iPad mobile and have a host outside the inside door but just inside the main door stopping people disrupt the flow of service inside the restaurant.
K. B.
Having lived in Italy for three years, it was thoroughly enjoyable to get a taste of Italy in the heart of Dublin. Both the food and the service was fantastic.
Try it, you won't be disappointed.
H. S.
Fantastic pizza with a great chewy crust.
C. S.
The best Italian food I’ve had outside italy. I had almost given up trying to find an authentic, tasty and reasonably priced Italian restaurant until I came upon Forno 500. A real sense of passion permeates through this restaurant, the oven was specially built by Neapolitan experts and used clay from Mount Etna , a fact we learned from the owner. There’s a relaxed yet funky atmosphere and the calamari is spectacular. The menu is bursting with fresh, intense Flavours fashioned into traditionally respected dishes. Great service from a witty, warm hearted team.
N. L.
Best Italian pizzas in Dublin. Good value too.
S. M.
Pizza was delicious, dessert coffee and especially limoncello made my night!
S. F.
Easy to find, directly on Dame Str., delicious pizza (about 15€) , lasagne was good as well but the portion was a bit small. It is not cheap but the quality of their sausages (salami, etc.) is really good. Staff is very friendly and mostly Italian, but they have a 10% service charge for tables of 5 or more people.
W. C.
Fantastic little pizza restaurant right across from Dublin Castle. Great quality of food and the staff really welcomee us with our 6 month old and helped us with heating up his dinner. Definitely worth a visit and family friendly.
T. D.
Great atmosphere , staff are wonderful , we ordered carpaccio of beef & it was truly scrumptious. All our pasta was wonderful except the lasagne which was a bit off but the manager was genuinely concerned & you could see they were ‘on it ‘ immediately & didnt charge for it .... the wine & desserts were also scrumptuous ... we’re booking back in tmrw - its so hard to find good food & good service in one place - reasonably priced in the city centre - Highly recommend it.
A. 3.
Definitely not the true neapolitan pizza. It has been adapted to local-US style. In the neapolitan pizza the taste of garlic was so strong that it overpowered all other ingredients. If you eat close to the counter-coffee machine expect dust to make you company
E. P.
Really good pizza! one of the best in Dublin.
A. P.
If you wanna try the real and proper Neapolitan pizza, Forno 500 is definitely the right place in Dublin. Products are fresh and staff very friendly. We will definitely come back.
G. F.
This is authentic Italian all the way, from the super freshest mozzarella and basil on the Caprese salad, to the salamis and seafoods on the pizzas, to the velvety Tiramisu. And the staff are true Italians, filling the room with genuine warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home.
D. D.
Really super pizza.
J. C.
We had an amazing beet and goat cheese salad and the our Pizzas were amazing. Just want to thank Guiseppi for the wonderful hospitality and spent the time to speak to of us about Dublin ❤️ and his home in Italy.
M. K.
Fantastic place,food was superb.
J. M.
Pretty good Italian bistro. Get the Antipasto as a starter, it's got some pretty amazing cured meats and the most delicious oiled artichoke you'll ever taste! The pizzas are traditionally delicious and the Bolognese pasta is a great alternative to them.
L. D. O.
Fab wine list and delicious (generously-portioned) pizzas, though I did have serious food envy seeing the pasta dishes arriving to the next table. Will definitely be back to check those out!
L. M.
Simply the best original Italian pizza you can have in the city. I’m Italian and I tried all of them. Forno 500 is the top place where I use to go often to have the real pizza.
Chapeau
D. M.
Great place to eat with lovely dishes and good wine in Dublin city center! Next to the refined French and Italian cuisine there was a nice selection of wines. The service was impeccable and friendly. Sure to be back soon.
K. C.
Beautiful food! The sun was shining, so we decided to sit outside. What a great experience! Great food, wine and service.
C.
The food is delicious! It is difficult to find a good italian restaurant especially in places like dublin. All though I did wait for a while to get served I did enjoy the food a lot.
It would be better if they had more place for customers
s. k.
Great fresh pizza and pasta, with friendly Italian staff. A great spot for a nice/casual late dinner with friends.

G. W.
Delicious pizza and un-describable caprese
M. M.
Great great restaurant. Friendly staff! The food is very good. Good taste to it. To top it all off l, THE best moelleux au chocolat I ever had.
P. N.
Excellent pizza and excellent prices.
The fondant au chocolat was the best I ever had so far.
Loved everything!!
R. R.
Fantastic as always. Was looking forward to coming back since pandemic shenanigans.
l.
Gluten free option. The pizza and lasagna my family ordered was delicious! We had a laugh that the best food we had while in Ireland, was Italian!
B. R.
Food was very good, the place is quite pokey and loud. It was a busy night but the staff were very noticeably feeling the pressure, could hear them arguing with each other on a couple of occasions.
j. w.
Lovely restaurant. Delicious pizzas. Very nice staff. Would recommend.
s. o.
Faultless! Best pizza I’ve ever had with top service to match. Cosy romantic restaurant. Will be back.

The pizza was absolutely fantastic. The service was lacking a bit, but there was no doubt about how good the food was.
H. Q.
Amazing quality food! Highly recommend! We got the capricciosa pizza and the goats cheese salad and both were absolutely amazing.
D.
Everything great! Amazing Antipasti and the white pizza with porcini and truffle oil is superb! Also amazing customer service!
I. D.
Top 10 pizzas in Dublin it looses a star for being very noisey and the staff aren't always the friendliest. Sano is no. 1
K. A.
Absolutely tremendous pizza. Genuinely one of the best I've ever had. Forno 500 is a must visit when you're in Dublin.
T. V. G.
A cozy, friendly Italian with tasty, authentic food! Had a lovely meal here on New Year's Eve - this is a little gem in the heart of Dublin 💚
J. A.
Food is ok but nothing special. I had soup and lasagne - quality of food was average - maybe other dishes are better but this was nothing special. Service was ok. Rrstaurant had nice atmosphere but there was an unpleasant smell (i think sewery problem).
E. P.
The place was bustling. I had the picante pizza which was delicious, one of the best pizza I have had. The pizza was Neopolitan style and was very authentic. Highly recommended.
B. O.
Devine. Best pizza
m. r.
The pizza was ok. The service was not excellent. The owner was quite rude, all the staff spoke very poor English. Overall i would reccomend at least one visit.
S. H.
Great 4 cheese pizza, and ravioli of the day was perfect (pumpkin). Great service! Hi light recommend!

Lovely staff and good service. I think I should have ordered the pizza. Lasagne wasn't great, claggy and lacking flavour.

That's a true pizza that respects the Italian standards, the sweets are top notch, I didn't try the pasta, but by lurking other tables it looked proper
J. D.
