The vibe was great. Beautiful and relaxing jazz sounds, cozy sittings and good staff. Had the beef pie with a side of mashed potatoes. It was beefy. The lamb shank looked and tasted great(had a taste off my friends plate).

Amazing food, very welcoming atmosphere and such a lovely staff. My first time visiting and I will definitely be back. I recommend the Christmas menu and the apple strudel 🤤🤤 can't wait to have brownie next time!

Highly recommended the Girl and the Goose restaurant for dinner. Excellent table service and excellent food. The portion sizes are perfect and the flavours well balanced. We went here on a week night for my husband's birthday and had a fabulous time. Will definitely go back in the near future.

Absolute hidden gem. Found this place by accident for a dinner with visiting family, small menu with some great twists on classic fare. Very reasonably priced, great wine, unpretentious yet smart style & atmosphere and very friendly service. A new Dublin favourite. We'll be back!

Went here for a family birthday celebration and once again had a fine meal. Service for starters was a little quick, but the quality of the food was excellent. I had two fish dishes but there were plenty of options as well as an interesting choice of vegetarian dishes, both starters and main courses. There is a short wine list abd most prices seem reasonable by Dublin standards.
The pictures are a Monkfish starter and a Hake main course on Gnocchi.

I went here with a group of people for one of our Christmas lunch and it was just lovely.
We sat upstairs were the bar counter is made of books and all the decorations are so quaint.
The staff were so friendly and funny.
The was excellent. I had the salmon starter and the salmon main - safe to say I love my salmon, and the were both tasty. The Guinness bread is scrumptions and if you have space for dessert, I would recommend the rhubarb crumble.
Also, side note - the coffee comes in really cool glasses. Not the hipster jar kind but really fancy double glazed glasses.

Lovely little restaurant hidden away from view. We had a wonderful meal here, the food was excellent and the staff charming and polite. Definitely recommend it if you want to have a nice, quiet dinner.
