Finally had dinner in this cozy looking restaurant and we were not disappointed. Food tasted good but we would like to commend their waiting staff for providing great service. Peter looked after us well. Would definitely be back again.

Highly Recommended! It was beautiful evening and I can not thank ourselves for deciding to choose this place to spend it. Lovely food, nice view, attentive staff, clean toilets. Indoor & outdoor dining, nice to sit outside but today (January '22 ❄) was a little too cold when the overhead heater at our table didn't work despite having our coats & hats on and use of complimentary blankets. I'm sure the gas ran out and will be fixed pronto. Very popular and you often need pre-book a table at peak wkend brunch-lunch hours. Enjoy!👍

Lovely friendly staff, nice decor and outdoor seating area. Very convenient for airport with car parking at rear. In this Covid times it would have been better if there was air circulating via the back door which most of the time remained shut and restaurant quite full

Food was great, plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. 3/5 as the staff made us sit on the seats away from the fire burner and it was 12 degrees, we asked for the table indoor we were told all full (I could see empty tables inside, but I understand maybe they were reserved) then we asked could you move close to the burner where 3 tables were vacant and we were told all are reserved, we then asked table are reserved on the basis of indoor or outdoor then why we are made to sit far off the burner and there was another asian family made to sit away from burner (looked biased) all this while they allowed locals to come in 10-15 mins after us and they got the seat next to the heat. We asked how local couple were allowed to sit there, did they reserve specifically that table? Only then they realised and allowed us to move from cold and windy corner to one of the empty table around the burner. Due to this different treatment I am not sure If I will be interested to go again, or maybe that is what they want.

Good place to dinner with friends or with your partner. Sometimes in the rush hours the waitresses can't handle with so many tables and you stay waiting longer than expected, is the only thing that I complaint, the food was great.

Went there last Sunday with husband & daughter. Class place to eat. Ate in outdoor covered area. Warm, heater on. Food was brilliant. Husband had big breakfast. The white & black pudding was top class. I tasted it, so good. I had the chicken burger, so tasty & their chips are home cut. Attention to detail was top class, sauces on side,. Well done . Waiter & waitress so helpful & friendly. Thank you. Waiting to go back soon.

Was there on 26th of August for evening meal and was absolutely delighted!! Was small issue that we got starters before our drinks but it was just a minutes question!! All food was delicious from the look on plate and taste!! Stopped off to get some take away sandwiches for lunch, goats cheese and a Louisiana chicken. Both were great but the Louisiana chicken not having had it before was gorgeous. Ordering over the phone was easy, wait time was good. Only negative I think was the welcome could have been warmer on the premises and maybe a look at the word "friendly" in a thesaurus would help. 😊 Will go back for the food.

We go out for breakfast a lot, but I've never been one for pancakes, until i went HERE that is. Oh wow what a gorgeous meal we had. Of course I was stuffed as a fat cat and couldn't finished the huge amount of American style pancakes with fruit and Nutella. The Decor is fantastic and the staff were so nice that we made a couple of calls to friends while we were there and booked in 5 people for later that morning. Later on they told us how happy they were with their experience also. Will definitely go back here, although I recon Ill be 4 stone heavier by the end of the year :)

Lovely place with very nice ambient and kind, polite stuff. It's crowded and pretty busy inside but there is big reason for that! Delicious food. Before I went there I saw reviews and somebody said that food is avarage. It's not, it's much better than avarage. And price is pretty well according to Dublin. I've got soup, main meal, glas of wine Sauvignon Blanc and dessert for cca €30. It's good price for whole lunch, in great ambient and polite waitress. Dessert is to take away, so they provide that as well for everything from menu. I'm so satisified! Definently recommend.

We were a famliy of 6 out for my late birthday meal . We were outside dining . At frist we were left out in the opening without are outdoor heating fan . We ask to be moved as stuffer with aristhis in both my knees . After awhile we got a small garden table , you couldnt swing a cat around , everything was on top of each other on the table . To top it all over the waiter gave himself a €10 tip on my daughters visa card without asking her . Their food is lovely but i think two before going there again

Had the huevos rancheros and banana&nutella pancakes. It was a sunny morning so we sat outside. Very busy even at 10am, I’d suggest booking in advance. Inside is nicely decorated and the staff are very good. The coffee is grand and the food is lovely. But not anything spectacular. I wouldn’t be rushing back.

Fab food! 1 waiter (male) was quite short mannered and not very friendly, but all other staff, particularly a female staff member with glasses was so courteous and nice, recommended lovely starter and made friendly small talk, made us feel so comfortable. I would like to thank the Gourmet Food Parlour Santry for bringing a lot of happiness to my family before, and during this crazy time!! The staff, service and quality of food at the GFP is incredible!! I have managed to book a couple of private functions in Northwood, spent many birthdays, mothers & fathers day there, each and every time the experience has been top notch! Now that we cant get out it has been fantastic to be able to deliver a beautiful meal and afternoon tea to my parents while celebrating their 51st wedding anniversary 😍 and again tomorrow for mother day. My mother is so excited for her Raspberry and chocolate roulade! To be able to give my parents something to look forward to during these very strange times means a lot to me. A big thank you in particular to Simon and Ester who I have dealt with most, they are two of the brightest, professional people I have met in hospitality, you can tell they really know their stuff and genuinely love their jobs, and actually CARE! Thank you for working through these times and bringing my family such joy! Stay safe Celene 😘

Very busy when we got there this morning which is a fantastic sign of a great place. Good decor and spacious seating. Staff very friendly. Excellent selection on the menu with very generous helpings. White and black pudding very light and went down very well. Minor issues - poached eggs not soft and way too much raw red onion in guacamole. This is very minor though and will not stop us coming again as quality of food exceptional. Also, great fresh coffee. Prices very reasonable for the quality of food and service on offer.

I love this food chain,however the restaurant in Santry is notably my favorite as it not only has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff like the others do, it has a very friendly manager who is just so lovely and talkative and really considerate of her customers. As Gina effortlessly showcases enthusiasm and hard work she is an inspiration to both the staff and her customers in the restaurant to engage with one another more over a nice plate of the best quality of food in Dublin. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it is a must to try and definitely ask for the manager Gina as she is a fantastic person to meet and definitely makes your visit extraordinary with great food and atmosphere, she is a credit to the brand!

Got a table no problem which was great at short notice. The food was lovely but that's where the positive stops. The restaurant was cold and the service awful. We waited almost 15 minutes after being seated to place our order and another 20 minutes for the food and drinks to arrive.

They offer fine healthy food, superably presented, nice selection of wines and super coffee even available as Take Away. Very popular, you would need to reserve a booking even for breakfast. But this place is beautifully appointed, lovely relaxed atmosphere and altogether a really nice ambience.

Great place and food. Does attract the millennial and hipster crowd, but don’t let that put you off! Staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Found it to be very noisy though as so many people packed in and they have music pumped out at volume which isn’t necessary.

Made a booking just in case as this place is popular. We were given the choice of early bird or dinner menu....All looked gorgeous. We shared the sliders to start, delicious. My friend had the cod and I had the 3 bean curry, both yummy. Then we forced ourselves to have desert...Eton mess and salted caramel donut... will have to go for a long walk tomorrow but it was all worth it....

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and staff are really friendly. I've been to GFP Santry a number of times now and they are consistantly good. Brunch is my favourite menu and what I go for the most. At the moment with COVID 19 it's important to feel like restaurants are being responsible and protecting customers and staff as best they can. I do feel like GPF are doing this and I'll be going again very soon.

Had a 3 course early bird menu . It was €28 and it was very good value and delicious. Went for the meatballs as starter . Then the burger which was one of the nicest I have ever had and finished off with the Ferrero Rocher cheese cake which was amazing. All washed down with a beer or glass of wine as part of the price . There where 17 of us and everyone complemented the food we will definitely be back . We where served by 2 really nice staff members to.

Excellent experience here recently. Brilliant breakfast menu with some unusual options rather than the typical offerings you get in most places. Huevos Rancheros highly recommended! Really friendly and helpful staff team and lovely atmosphere in the venue. Definitely will go there again.

Had a breakfast, poached eggs, bretzel bread, rashers, roasted cherry tomatoes, leaves of rocket and avocado spread. Coffee. Not cheap. The food was average, the salad very salty, lots of oil - olive oil drizzled after, perhaps? the pat of butter in a butter dish had drops of water in it. The salt cellar was empty. Picked one up from table next to us; there was no pepper cellar, picked that up as well and found it empty. So, salt from table alongside us, pepper from table in front of us. Coffee was average. The avocado dip was the best I've ever eaten (and I'm not an avocado fan!). Staff were not cheerful. Didn't make us feel comfortable. The decor was excellent. Location is excellent. Summary: Location - excellent Ambience and interior - excellent Food- average; looked nice but taste was so-so. Portions- average to good sized. Prices- slightly on the high side Staff- poor experience, surly, obviously hadn't checked the status of salt/pepper on the tables. Verdict: With a bit of work, can be fabulous. It has all the makings of a fabulous place.

Food was tasty. Service-not professional. we were few people there. Some ordered starters, but some - main course. Starters have been brought in after few minutes when we ordered. when we said that we all want to eat together, they took starters back and brought in with a main course. Starters weren't heated, just brought same time with all meals. If that is happening in other restaurants clients usually are offered a drink for free. In this place nothing like that was offered. Dissapointed.

I had the spicy baked eggs. They were absolutely delicious. The pulled pork was melt in your mouth. The eggs were wonderfully fresh and funny and the sauce was divine. Although the portion seemed small upon first sight while I was eating this I realized how fulfilling the dish really was. It was the perfect accompaniment to a pint of Erdinger. This is a great place for weekend brunch that you should check out when visiting the airport or Santry .

Lovely fresh food and beautiful cakes. Great outside eating area for the summer and spring time. Blankets available if it gets a bit cool. Very relaxed place with great decor and really comfy chairs. Always busy but your table always feels private and not on top of other tables. Only down side is its a bit pricy for drinks and cakes.

having visited a number of GFPs elsewhere around Dublin this was our first visit to this restaurant. There was a queue of people outside and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but it was worth every minute of the wait!! The service was excellent, the food was fabulous and gave generous portions for each of us! It was brunch menu time and the quality of the food was outstanding. We ordered huevos rancheros and poached eggs with smashed avocado. Both were outstanding the price was extremely reasonable given the quality of the food and the portions we received. it is well worth a visit anytime

The food is very nice and the prices are reasonable, but the service is not up to standards. I’ve been here several times and they keep repeating small mistakes that make a big difference to the overall experience. These details are such as being served the food but have to wait for the cutlery while the food is getting cold in front of you, or getting the wrong drink ( in 3 occasions I’ve got served Diet Coke instead of regular coke). And the last time we went there the manager wasn’t very nice to the waiter in front of the customers. It’s a shame because this is the nicest restaurant in the area

Myself and my friends were here last night for our Christmas night out. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. The staff are both polite and efficient and the food was excellent. When we Sat down I discovered that I had left my phone in my Room, as I was staying in the Crowne Plaza Northwood next door I decided to go back and get it. When I got to the door one of the staff members was heading home and when she heard what I was doing she insisted that she give me a lift to the hotel and she waited for me to grab my phone from my Room and she dropped me back to the restaurant. Her name was Leanne. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had a good night. Excellent food and wonderful staff. I highly recommend a visit.

Lovely place in the beautiful surrounds of Northwood Park. On the day we visited we had to wait about 40 mins before we could order food as there was some issue with Brunch not being available and being too early for lunch. We were offered bread sticks when we waited. Early days issues and nothing to worry about. Bit strange they don't allow dogs into the outside part. When I asked why I was given a vague health and safety answer which wasn't correct. After raising it on FB they did mention plans to make an area for dog owners near the car park. Sounds lovely.. Let's see how it turns out before judging. Delighted to see a good food place in Santry.

Style over substance I'm afraid. Pre cooked food did not delivery on quality. Scallops can not be cooked earlier in the day and expect to stay tender. Also noted the small queen scallops have been defrosted. Obvious as little to no flavour at all. Disappointing but good staff. Please go the extra yard and so not pre cook everything in the tapas menu. Meatballs can be pre made and can still be tender , unlike the ones served, I am not a chef and even know this simple fix. Will return but will not order either of these dishes again. Brunch good last Sunday. Tapas terrible on Wednesday. Please take this as not harsh but constructive.
