First time my husband and I ate at the Lucio and won't be the last time.
The food was a delight and most of all the staff was attentionate and helpful.
Highly recommend!

From starters to deserts this place is one of the best in town. The cocktails were fresh and tasty but the steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Great atmosphere and design, the staff was friendly and efficient. WORTH!

I hate to put good reviews on this place as it's so dam difficult to get a table but anyway..... It's absolutely superb.... Relaxed authentic but creative Italian cuisine in a cool environment served by excellent friendly staff... It's a great place to chill out and get some of the best food around...
When we're in Dublin we'll be here a couple of times a week... It's always good and never disappoints... Consistently excellent Osteria style food... Wines are also excellent....
There's not much more to say except please don't go there.......

Perfectly acceptable meal but by no means outstanding. Service wasn't very welcoming and were cold all the way through service. Starters were slow to come out.
No one touched base before the booking with regards to allergies then on the day the menu has no allergin info at all. Explained my nut allergy which then ruled out 3 or 4 of the options in the starters course. No offer to get the starters without the nuts just ruled out entirely.
Starter was good got Arancini and Prosciutto to share both tasty.
Ordered a Pizza (Pizzette / Pizzetta?) for a main - really not good for a restaurant like this. Similar standard to Milanos or the likes. Not at all like some of the neapolitan style ones I've seen on their instagram, very very underwhelming. Tried some of my girlfriends venison gnochetti which was tasty but not outstanding.
Maybe we ordered wrong or maybe I expected too much with the chefs connection to chapter one but not wow'd on this occasion.
What must be said is the restaurant is very nicely laid out and decorated. It does look incredible.

Gorgeous with fabulous food and attentive staff. As a coeliac, I need a lot of help especially if the menu is in Italian! I was so well looked after. Good atmosphere with the underground feel and the rumble of trains overhead. Well worth the price which was considerable but we were celebrating.

Portions are good and tasty. I was expecting something more from the dishes though considering they have a Michelin star.
Tiramisu is great.
We had to wait just for a bit for our table and the bar wasn't opened so we couldn't get cocktails on our table, I guess this is a special case due to Covid.
The place is quite noisy without all the tables being full so I guess in normal circumstances, the level of noise is even worst.
Service was good and polite.

Always a pleasure to go for a nice dinner at Osteria Lucio.
Staff is friendly (we had a very good waiter from Venezuela last time we went) and always providing good advices.
Food is really good with quality products. I can't recommend specific products as they are all quite nice.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice with a main room that looks like an old wine cellar and an outside area protected from the rain/cold.
Try booking before going as it can be quite packed.

Great Italian restaurant!!!
The pizza is amazing. They have a very good oven so all the food have a great taste.
All plates are set very nicely and service is outstanding.
The atmosphere is very nice at all times.

Phenomenal! This is one of the best places I've ever eaten. We did the "Big Lucio" tasting menu and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and plentiful, almost too much. Staff was wonderful and helpful throughout the evening. It couldn't have been a better experience.

Cosy, quaint little restaurant under the arch of the dart bridge on a small cobbled street near the canal. It's a small compact restaurant. There's a nice little bar where you can wait for your table. Nice menu, nice food, friendly staff, good service. They also do a good pizza. Recommended for small groups or couples.

Best Italian restaurant of Dublin. The location is great, the decor and ambiance are premium. I was first bothered the menu changed regularly, but that’s now my favorite thing about the place. Whatever the menu is, they simply won’t disappoint. The open pizza oven kitchen is incredible and the staff extremely polite and discreet. Can’t wait to be back.

Lovely warm welcome. Sat in the terrace which is cosy and private. Staff were fantastic from start to finish with friendly suggestions which never failed. Our 3 children were made very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed their food too, despite no kids menu.

Omg, what a meal experience. This place is top-notch. Throughly enjoyed. The staff are so good at what they do and the food was delightful. Wow wow wow!!!

Italian food done Right!!!! Pasta was perfectly al dente, veg was fresh with the right balance of spice without losing the beauty of the fresh produce. Selection is very good and there are good choices for all from carnivore to vegan Osteria has you covered.
Downside without reservation we were almost turned out, however as we didn't mind a bit of a wait with a beverage we still could be accommodated. Recommend reservation as this place can, even on a mid-week visit be packed.

Really chic Italian restaurant located in the tunnel under a train bridge. Theround ceilings and occasional sound of trains overhead adds to this unique location. Aside from the underground feel and chic decor the restaurant serves amazing, fresh Italian food. The food comes out hot and quick. Every dish has something different and unique to order. Definitely try the pepper toast with nduja. It's a unique flavor with a little kick! And if all of that wasn't reason enough to love Lucio's the wait staff is incredibly friendly!

The calzone was one of the best I've ever had, delicious! The panceta pizza is good, well made dough and ingredients of quality. Pasta are good too but overpriced: more than 20€, better come for pizzas. Staff is very nice, fancy restaurant, I recommend it.

Phenomenal Pizza, Pasta, and Cocktails! This isn't your standard Italian restaurant, it's upscale and slightly more innovative.
I would recommend making reservations for any day of the week because it's quite popular.
You'll want to try the cocktails - they do a great whiskey sour.
The atmosphere is quite intimate and the service is excellent.

Nice ambience and very nice food. We ordered the 3 course lunch. The options are same as most of the places. The dessert was the best. I think i found the best tiramisu in the town.

Genuine 5 star place, fancy, wear something nice. Italians are amazing. Great outside setting with a low bridge and lovely indoor setting with buttresses and plenty of room.

The food was excellent and the service kind. The restaurant is under the train tracks but don't let that put you off! You can hardly hear the train passing overhead and I think that actually adds to the charm and uniqueness of the place. The ceiling is arches and the whole place gives a classy vibe. Splendid for a treat date with a loved one.

Nice place to go for a Saturday night, was packed and we didn’t book in advance but they got a table for us. Olives to start and we got the tagliatelle ragú with wagyu beef that was ok couldn’t figure if pasta was freshly made, dessert the tiramisu and was good too. Service was good nothing outstanding. 4 stars is fair. €100 for dinner for 2

This is a nice restaurant and the food mostly good but it's very overpriced.
The burrata starter at €14 was very tasty but tiny ! The steak main with polenta fries was really delicious. The pork milanese was fine but €29 for a piece of breaded pork, a dip and a tomato salad is too expensive. The tomato salad wasn't a great match either for the pork.
I'd read about the Tiramisu here but it was very average and there was a strong taste of almond liqueur instead of marsala. Also, it came in a glass which i don't think you would see it Italy !
The profiterole was a strange hybrid between affogato and a choux bun but was delicous all the same. €10 for each dessert was pricey considering their size and simplicity.

The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and not afraid to give you honest recommendations. The menu varies quite a bit so when you go there you may not get the same options but the scallops risotto is a must. The burrata starter is usually available and it is the perfect start to your meal at this place. Honestly nothing can really go wrong if you go for one of the pastas or risottos, from my experience. I usually take business partners as I can always expect no one will be disappointed.

Food staff excellent lacking atmosphere would go back but you need to bring friends.

Great service and dinner was delicious. We had the medallions and seafood/lobster pasta... Both great. For desert we had the tiramisu... Strongly recommended!

Food and Service fantastic. A really enjoyable Italian experience. Great hospitality and atmosphere. This was my second visit I’ll be back sooner next time.

One of my favorite places to go in Dublin. Dublin had many good restaurants and many I love, but Lucio has an authentic style and great quality Italian food. The location right under the DART makes it noisy at times, but it also gives it a nice and lively atmosphere. The big Lucio is a great multi course option.

I love the atmosphere and of course food and wine. Everything we ordered were delicate and tasty!!! Had good night fun.

Cannot fault this place, my favourite restaurant in dublin hands down. The Apis pizza is unbeleivable. The staff are so friendly especially a certain lady i must find out her name. They used to have a cocktail that had lemon/limoncello in it was to die for please bring it back !!

We went to Osteria Lucio for a team dinner. The food we had was delicious. In particular, the tagliatelle with ragu of Irish wagyu beef and chili was the most flavorful. My favourite starter (for sharing) was the bruschetta with house cured salmon, cream cheese, cucumber and trout roe. My colleagues had pizza and raved about it. Looking forward to visiting next time I'm in Dublin.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food. We dined here multiple times and I’ve never been disappointed.

A lovely spot, sophisticated locale with very good service. While it was fairly pricey it wad one of those 'quality over quantity' sort of places, but the food I had was very very nice indeed.

Excellent staff and the food is to die for! On the pricey side for Italian but worth it for a special occasion. Really nice atmosphere and love the authentic feel!

Nice environment, good quality of the food (pizza is not bad at all for being abroad). A bit expansive but quality comes for a price.

Delicious food and a really interesting building. A bit loud from the trains but it didn't dampen my mood.

Decent italian food in a decent location. Very pricey for what you get though. Wouldn't be in a rush to go back.
