The mussels here are amazing the portion size is great. We will definitely be back for the mussels. Really great laid back atmosphere.
E. B.
Fantastic typical Irish food with other options available. Very tasty and big portions, they also offer gluten free options which is lovely! Pictured is the Guinness stew which was amazing. We were served by Clarissa who made us feel very comfortable and was super friendly.
P. W.
Yup it’s great! Feels like it’s likely a tourist trap but the food is good and huge portions. The seafood chowder and guiness beef stew were our favourite. They also have brown soda bread …. So tasty
S. C.
Amazing tradicional Irish food, good price and excellent staffs
F. K.
Unless there's no burst pipe and water is dripping from the ceiling above the bar onto the staff ;-P (this happend at the end of Nov'21, but was fixed in shortest time, respect at this point!), this is one of my favourite pubs in Dublin.
Live music almost every day and excellent tapped Guinness (unfortunately there are a few pubs in Templebar district that can't do that... well so good as here)
J. P.
Service was exceptionally good, food was great. We have been here many times and were always satisfied! Great atmosphere, always packed.
A. S.
Irish typical pub. The portions are generous and the food and drinks are very good. Totally recommend it
J. F.
Nice place in temple bar. Very touristic area. Too expensive pints and drinks. (6,80€ for a carlsberg if I'm not wrong/ 6€ for a baby guiness) generally the place is overcrowded. The guys playing were okay but the quality of the sound was poor, the voice and instrument were baffled. Friendly staff.
D. A.
Just have the best chowder in town. Came to Dublin for couple days. Food is great, price is so reasonable than in New Jersey and definitely than NY. The service and staff is amazing. This is my second visit, I brought my sister and my BIL, we had so much fun.
s. y.
Nice environment food is just ok. The beef of the beef stew was not tender enough.
W. S.
Very delicious food, servis is fast and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend!
N. S.
I have been here three times and have not been disappointed. Their lamb shanks and grilled salmon are quite good. The fish and chips and steamed mussels are all right. The service is prompt and it is easy to find a table during weekdays for dinner.
J. L.
Great food and great service! This place is in the heart of the touristy Temple bar area, but the food is amazing. They serve many traditional Irish dishes if you are in the mood. I highly recommend their fish n chips because the batter is not thick, fried to a light golden color. Fish is fresh and does not taste like pre-frozen. Their Irish stew is also delicious! And the steamed mussels is a must for appetizer! If you have room for desserts, their apple crumble pie is highly recommended. Not overly sweet and heavy.
M. M. B.
The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and the food is good as well. Staff could be a little bit more friendly; but nothing to complain about too much. We had great garlic cheese bread and a decent Beef & Guinness Stew.
R. S.
The "Slow Cooked Beef & Guinness Stew" is bold and thick - perfect with a cold Guinness. The food tastes great and the drinks are ice cold. The restaurant is on the second floor and the stairs are a little steep. Leave your large bags behind because tables are very close to each other. If you're lucky you'll get a table next to the windows.
M. B.
Stop looking and just go here!!! This place is amazing. There is a lively pub down stairs and a family restaurant up stairs. The food is great and the staff is amazing. The service leaves nothing to be desired. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. The service was fast. Even the ice cream that came with the kids meal was some of the best I have had in years. The quality and quantity were excellent. I would definitely stop here again when I am in town.
B. F.
Great food and drinks, fair price.
L. X.
Awesome traditional restaurant, serving traditional Irish food. The service was rapid, even though the place was full. One star down since the cheesecake was something resembling anything but a cheesecake, as seems in the photo with the huge chunk of fat cream on top.
J. L.
Great ambience restaurant with reasonable prices for food on the famous Temple Bar. Staffs were friendly and food qualities were good. Reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment. We are lucky to be served for window seat, so that we could look out into the busy Temple Bar in the evening whilst dining. Highly recommended for dinner, then could go to Ha' Penny bridge for the night view.

Served by a wonderful Boston girl. Missus Battered fish & chip was beautiful. Lightest crispiest batter, fish was perfect. Steak sandwich was tender and filling. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return if near the area again.
J. N.
This is a great restaurant in the Temple Bar area. The staff is friendly, and able to accommodate (i.e. put up with) the tourists. The menu has something for everyone, from traditional Irish fare to food you'd find in any Western pub.The place is huge, so there's room for a crowd. The tables are close to each other, so be ready for other customers to brush by you and for conversations to be overheard. For me, this just adds to the experience. I had the burger, which was yummy, but the chips (fries) were really good. Crispy and not too heavy. They also came with a gravy that had a spicy bite to it. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did. Clearly, there are lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from in this area, but I would put Quays on the list of must-visits.
J. R. W.
Incredible food and fast, friendly waitstaff. Did not disappoint! I had a cappuccino, the beef stew, and the homemade apple cobbler...plus a pint of Guinness, of course! Love, love, love it!
A. P.
Busy vibrant obviously very popular. Enjoyed our visit here. Live music was excellent.
G. S.
The food was excellent and the staff very friendly! We liked them so well we came back the next night. They have such a variety on the menu you could eat there a week and not duplicate items.
H. G.
Amazing Live Music, 😘
S. D.
A great lunch in the heart of the temple bar! Delicious fish and chips and good beer. Really nice place and suitable for everyone. The menu is varied, the service is fast and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The right place to enjoy your first guinnes🍻
d. f.
The staff were great. It was really busy and they said we could have a table around the corner. We wanted to watch the musicians, so the member of staff said we could stand by the bar. After a couple of minutes he brought over some stools. Refreshiing to come across a helpful member of staff. Jon Furnell

We spent a fantastic afternoon in this bar. My favourite bar. It was the Friday before St Patrick's Day, it started off really quiet, by teatime was buzzing. Everyone was very friendly with a great vibe.
J. C.
I had an Irish stew here, my first Irish stew in Ireland. The stew they have is really good. Exceeded my expectation. The beef and Guinness stew on the other hand was not as good. The beef was dry on the inside. Lastly I had the chocolate cake which was excellent!
The service was also prompt and efficient.
The restaurant is on the second level, not to be mistaken with the pub on the ground level.

One of my favorite spots in Dublin . I really was addicted to the live music and especially upstairs area. I had my 21st birthday there and it was so lovely . I can't wait to go there again
S. G.
Fantastic, affordable, fast, friendly, with tasty, good Irish food. We had had a longer, rougher morning than planned trying to get to our Castle Tour (guided tour is awesome btw) so after we enjoyed the tour we headed to the Temple Bar district for lunch and sought out The Quays, as there had been good reviews and recommendations for it.
First we stumbled into the bar... The restaurant is just down from the corner bar and upstairs.
Greeted and seated right away and we splurged on their pitcher of homemade iced tea, which for us Canadians was a delightful lightly sweetened, perfectly brewed black iced tea, and just what we needed after having to motor it all the quay to get to our tour. We both enjoyed the bangers and mash, and their roast gravy it came with was almost a bit like a beef stew, with veggies in it, and so nice and beefy, though maybe a touch too salty. The sausages were delicious, and the mash was perfect. Really hit the spot, and we were delighted. We cleaned our plates! And it was so affordable! Highly recommended!
C. R.
Traditional Irish Pub that you're looking for when you visit Ireland! Great Irish music playing. We were there for lunch during the week, so not sure what their live music situation is nights and weekends. Our waiter was from Hungary and most of staff did not appear to be Irish, but did not detract from the atmosphere or the food. The food.....amazing! Traditional fish and chips and guiness stew were our choices off the lunch menu. Portions were dinner sized! Everything fresh and hot. Pretty busy for mid afternoon. So many places to choose from in that area, but we lucked out first try! Luck of the Irish, right?!?!?
T. M.
Loved it. Such a friendly place. So welcoming and it sells Rockshore. Can't wait to go back
P. J.
Amazing FOOD, first trip to Dublin and we were wanting some genuine flavor full and good portions. Each of us (4 of us) got something different to taste and OMGOOTNESS!! The beef stew with Guiness amazing, the lamb stew was amazing and banging with flavor, the cottage pie was excellent and all portions were more than enough. Fish and chips were just the right mix. Washed it all down with Guiness, made for an amazing experience, the service was spot on and the atmosphere was perfect, the host had a great attitude and added to the experience. The restaurant is super rustic and charming. I would recommend this to anyone hosting Dublin. We will return and tell everyone!!!
D. C.
The food is ok quite "meh". For the price though it was expensive. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere was nice.
They have a great selection of Gluten Free food though.

This place really made my stay! I was giving up hope for finding a real Irish bar with live music and some good food. Then the doors opened to this place and I ran in to be greeted with a man on his guitar and another on his accordion singing Irish songs and a very young child dancing in the middle with everyone stomping their feet and clapping their hands cheering the little boy on. I then went on to have my tea next door in the restaurant which served one of the best meals I've had! Quick and good service. After I went back downstairs to the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the music! Only downside is the prices but it seemed the same for most places in Dublin. I will definitely visit again!
K. S.
The waitstaff was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was loud and crowded (probably as expected for a Friday night). The food looked great! But tasted subpar. Both the seafood chowder and fish and chips smelled and tasted of very strong fish. I prefer my fish to be on the more delicate side. The seafood chowder and lots of very large seafood pieces and unfortunately very little cream/liquid.
W. S.
Really enjoyed my steak! Cooked exactly to order - medium rare :) Breaded Brie salad was also very tasty, and fish soup was loaded with a wide variety of seafood including Calamari, mussels, and smoked salmon.
L. H.
Delicious food and great service! The cottage pie and brown bread ice cream were amazing! The Irish coffee was also very good!
Y.
As it was our last night in Dublin we were looking for one last authentic Irish meal, atmosphere and beer. We tried the Quays across from Temple Bar. We had to order the Guiness Irish stew, which was almost identical then the one we had at Guiness, the Irish Pie was stuffed with meet and potatoes and also 1 fish and chips. Also first place I found Kilkenny on tap! Everything was piping hot, which was appreciated on a cold and rainy September evening. Very authentic and savory all around. Irish cream cheesecake for desert. I have to say it was also interesting to have a nice and friendly waiter who was obviously not from Ireland and trying hard to sound local. Recommended over all before you go downstairs or across for live Urish music to finish the night!
M. M.
Try the seafood cocktail. A real surprise and the oysters were very fresh.
The interior looks churchy but I couldn’t find anyone who knew the history. Great place to sit outside and people watch
J. N.
We were unfamiliar with the restaurant but saw the menu outside and it looked good so we decided to try it. Were glad we did. Considering the location in the middle of the big tourist area, the portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. The Cottage Pie is great and the beer is cold. Go there, you won't regret it.
A.
Great music live music every day and a lovely pint of the black stuff
J. A.
This is great Irish food. The lamb shank is a must try. We went on a Saturday night and they were able to seat 4 in 30 minutes. Great bar for a drink while you wait. Give this place a try.
V. Y.
Excellent Irish stew, Beef stew with Guinness and Cottage pie. Table reservation is highly recommended. It's a baby friendly place equipped with highchairs. Absolutely love the waiters here. Very attentive and friendly. My toddler dropped his spoon and the waiter(a pity we didn't get his name) came up immediately asking if we wanted to wash the spoon. When they cleared the table they actually washed and returned our baby's cutlery which we totally forgotten about. I'll definitely come back on my next trip to Dublin!
G. D.
After waiting about 40 mins in the bar (well worth it) we had the beef and Guinness stew with mash, fish and chips, and seafood chowder and it was all incredible. The chowder tasted so fresh and was perfect mix of fish and seafood, the beef was tender and packed with flavour. Highly recommend for a proper Irish meal. Good luck going out drinking after that hearty of a meal though..
A. B.
It was the best service I had in a long time, plus great food and a good price, specially for such a well located pub (near temple bar).
Y. M.
Good food especially the brie & bread pudding. Pretty touristy since it's in Temple bar area, but otherwise good atmosphere.
F. B.
Pleasant atmosphere, considerate staff, sufficient seating outside. All things considered, one of the best watering holes in Temple Bar.
G. A.
Fantastic place.
Food was genuine authentic Irish.
Very good prices and lots of friendly staff.
Little wait time, but worth it.
j. e.
Dropped in for an early lunch and they were still serving a full Irish breakfast. A nice find for some real Irish fare. I ordered the full Irish breakfast and my friend ordered the cottage pie. Both were really delicious and well priced. The staff were warm and friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend if you're in the Temple Bar area.
I. D.
Great service! Nice place to have a pint and listen to music. Food was good as well
R. F. M. S.
Its an excellent restaurant, with amazing food. The tables are original, and they are fast with service. My main course was an irish plate. Seems like a meat soup, and was amazing. I choose an hot chocolate for deserts
U. J.
I'm pretty sure this place is a tourist trap but the food was good. Loved the fish and chips here.
D. D.
Friendly atmosphere, nice and kind waiters. The food was very delicious.
K. R.
Had a great night there celebrating my daughters birthday.fantastic food and lovely staff!!
S. K.
When I wanted to make a reservation online it was very easy and they were completely helpful. They food was amazing the fried Brie was great. My brother loved his Irish Stew 💙. I wanted dessert so bad but their portions were a great size that I had to room left. It was very easy to find!
F. a. F.
Situated right on temple bar this pub is the true definition of a true Irish pub. Enjoy food that will make you come back for more all while having a pint and looking out at the famous temple bar district. You certainly won’t want for more.
B. S.
Nothing but great things to say about this place! It's bigger than it looks so don't be intimidated if there's a line of people outside, they're probably just making their way up the stairs. We were seated quickly and received our food shortly after ordering. My fiance and I both got the Irish Beef Stew and were not disappointed. The beef practically melts in your mouth and the flavors complemented it perfectly. We'd had Irish stew at another pub on our travels but it didn't even come close to this one. The stew was a little spendy but well worth it with the side of the brown bread. DELISH!
S. D.
Great restaurant in a nice area with funny and efficient staff. Would recommend going here with children as there is a menu for them.
J. G.
I've been there twice. Both times the food has been very good. Both times around lunch very crowded.
A. H.
The best meal we had in Ireland. And the service was impeccable. The bangers and mash, and the pot pie were beyond incredible.
T. S.
Fast-food restaurant with really friendly staff. We had a burger and fish n chips. You get what you expect if you expect fast food :) now wow feeling after eating here but as I said you get what you expect. Pretty cheep for the location, about 30 € for what's on the picture.
A. T.
Great experience at our first restaurant in Ireland. We were greeted with a smile at the door, seated right away, our server was prompt and attentive. Hubby and I shared the garlic bread with cheese which was yummy, and a shared the cottage pie which was more than enough for the two of us.
J. L.
10/10 food and service
D. N.
My wife and I eat steak and fish and chips. It was hot in the upstairs restaurant. Asked if they would turn on ceiling fans, the answer was no as the AC was on they cannot also use the fan. It never cooled. Reminded me of cooking in a kitchen on a 90 degree day without AC in your house. The steak was so so, my fish and chips were better but not outstanding.
We may try them again and I will consider changing my review
J.
Delicious seafood chowder and mussels!!! My wife and I really enjoyed the food and really friendly staff!
K. C.
Food was good aside for the chips. Very disappointing chips for an irish restaurant, waiters were friendly aside for the greeter, he could of been a bit more cordial and less arrogant.
E. A.
Really good place for food, beer and music.
accessible prices
N. S.
A nice local Irish dinner in the beautiful centre of Dublin - Good value, very reasonable prices, big portions with a downstairs live music and pub.
Recommending the Irish Cottage pie - basically, a kind of shepherd's pie - which was delicious, and the Slow cooked beef & Guinness stew - that was amazing. both very large portions - you can share. if you order the Lemonade Jug - be careful - it's carbonated water based - for thous who don't care for that - like me...
A. C.
The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly and efficient but being vegan there wasn't much choice. If you're not veggie then the food is good. Chewing some grit from the mushrooms though
V. G.
Defo a tourist place, but great music, fun place to go have a bevvie! And the pub itself it really nice!! Great atmosphere
D. A.
Our 2nd visit and we were not disappointed. Great food! Would definitely come back
R. W.
Nice big portions of bangers and mash as well as cottage pie! Very tasty!
L. B.
Delicious! I had the good fortune to sit near the kitchen and see dishes prepared. Beautiful presentation!
C. L.
Excellent meal, which was somewhat surprising since at a casual glance you might mistake this place for a tourist trap. Try the brown bread and Bailey's ice cream for dessert.
K. Z.
Perfect! Really classy place to eat, need to wait for table for a while but it was worth and well rewarded:-)
J. E.
Sat down within 15 minutes of walking in! Service was super quick and my husband and I never felt rushed. The Cottage Pie was AHHMAZING!!!
E. K.
Good service, but go hungry. Portions are huge. Could barely finish my stew. So much lamb and potatoes. Flavour was great also.
E. S. F.
Very cozy place.
Friendly staff.
Excellent food.
Reasonable prices.
L. A.
Insanely delicious and comforting food. Super friendly staff!
V. R.
Nice place to drink and see a rugby match in the middle of city.
K. R.
A very busy place but quick service.Seafood chowder was delicious but the chicken wings turned out to be dry.
c. K.
Very nice good music great service and food. In the middle of the heart of Dublin.
A. B.
Amazing food, good prices, great atmosphere
S. P.
Nice place and tasty food, will visit again.
N. F.
The restaurant is with soul. Really Irish. Great soup. We ordered large portion...was our mistake😂 too huge...located in the canter... temple bar area
N.
First stop when I made it to Dublin... not disappointed at all. The portion are fulfilling you can probably share it!
J. J.
Great food, great music. A must stop. The early bird specials are a great deal. Very authentic Irish Pub.
L. N.
Lively bar with dining upstairs. Always good music in the pub and amazing food upstairs in the restaurant.
P. C.
Shepards pie and garlic bread were the best I've ever had. Amazing food at a reasonable price.
L. X.
Super nice with Love Musik and frindly Bar team
M. D.
Very delicious food and Irish coffee, nice atmosphere, friendly staff
F. S.
Brilliant service, lovely staff and good atmosphere.
K. M.
This place has a great atmosphere and serves delicious food upstairs until they close. (I mention that because some of the other pubs in Dublin stop serving food after 8 or 9pm, which kinda sucks sometimes.)
Even though we generally try to avoid going to the same restaurant more than once during a short trip to a new city, we couldn't stay away from this place and ended up coming here three times during our 10-day trip because everything was just so good.
I LOVED their Irish stew and yummy, freshly baked bread. The lamb and veggies were very tender and the base was delicious. Their seafood chowder was also flavorful, and their mashed potatoes were great as well. Their chocolate cake (like a fudge cake) was perfect with vanilla ice-cream and was quickly devoured.
We were seated immediately every time, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Servers were very friendly & attentive, and they gave great recommendations when we couldn't decide on what to order.
We were kinda worried about this place at first because people outside were advertising it when we were looking around for food, but the menu looked great so we took a chance on it and are really happy we did.
(Adding on to mention that I think they stay open later to have live music upstairs on Friday nights after 11pm... No idea what genre. Food's not served then, but the bar's open.)
S.
Classic dishes - Chowder and steak was absolutely delicious!!! The ambiance and atmosphere was very vibrant and lively.
I would love to visit again when I am back to Dublin. Service was great too!
K. B.
Great food, great staff, fast service, a must go
T. H.
Tasting food and great services. That Irish Stew is amazing!
T. S.
Wonderful, well-served food, nice staff, good location (Temple Bar Area)
L. K.
Nice beer
L. J.
Amazing food. Fast Service. Good Prices
S. K.
Popped in for pint around 5pm on a Friday - the place was hopping. The music was going, the locals were dancing and the crowd were just lapping it up. Full of atmosphere and fun. We got talking to some guests in our hotel later on that evening and they said that the food served in the upstairs restaurant was excellent. It offers everything you'd expect from a bar in Temple Bar. Go and enjoy!
c. b.
Good hearty food. The seafood chowder was delicious
R. R.
SUPER ATMOSPHERE!
A. K.
Excellent food and nice atmosphere!
S. R.
We were at the Quays the first night in Dublin. Great meal...fish and chips and Guinness of course. Finished by sharing a warm bread butterandpudding 😋 The BEST thing we ever ate. We played battling spoons at the end to see who would get the last bite.
Fast forward a month to our last night in Ireland and we're at the Quays again.. This time we had a small meal and each had our own pudding. The BEST again. The chef even commented on the increased orders due to a red headed American bragging about the greatest dessert ever
M. C.
Great food, great service, make sure you try the fried brie!
J. M.
Possibly the best burger, cottage pie and fries in Dublin!
M. T.
excellent food and very nice staff !
C. C.
Best live music in temple bar area to my opinion. However, drink prices are crazy high! It was €24 for a Guinness and 2 shots Malibu with orange juice. Music is excellent and they have a cool little stage for the performers. Didn’t have any food so I won’t review on that. Gets very crowded so be prepared. Great atmosphere and experience for a USA tourist.
J. H.
Loved this place music & atmosphere is brilliant 👏👌👍
K. c.
I have been on holiday in Dublin for the last 4 days and I have eaten here the last 3 out of 4 days! It is SO GOOD! The staff is so friendly! We have been here when it was super busy and they are still so polite and efficient! The food is delicious! I tried a few different things and have loved every single one of them! They have live music on Fridays and it just adds to the Irish charm! I would definitely recommend coming here! A lot of food for a good price! I’ll definitely be stopping here when I visit again!
e. k.
This place is great. net there to have dinner based upon its location and google reviews. Large portions. The waiter we had was very good, true professional waiter. Wish I caught his name to give him proper credit. I had the bangers and mash its was delicious. A friend had the lamb shank and it fell off the bone. If you wanna go to a cool place to eat with great food this is the place. And when dinner is done head downstairs for drinks.

We are tourists from Germany and spent 3 days in Dublin with our Little. I can absolutely recommend the Quays... even with a Baby :)
We had a light buggy with us, so it was pretty easy to come upstairs to the restaurant. But I guess if you ask someone they will help you with the "luggage".
The waiters are amazing friendly. They offered us a highchair and also brought us a portion of mashed potatoes for the Little.
My husband ordered the Burger with French Fries, I had the Irish Stew. The Burger was good but a little different to what we know in Germany. Irish Stew was fantastic!
The waiters are great entertainer as well. While they talked and played with the Baby, we could eat our meals. Thank you all for this great lunch :)
W. S.
A very lively bar pint of Black suff good .
C. L.
Surprisingly good! We had the mussels, chicken wings, salmon, and Atlantic chowder. I can attest to the all of them minus the wings. The chowder was chunky, hit and on point. The salmon was ok, while the mussels were super fresh and cooked perfectly. The wait staff was friendly. My only complaint is that we were told that threre was a wait time of 15 but it turned into 40 - the other complaint is that while we waited for our table we decided to have a drink at the bar upstairs and it took the bar guy 40 min to pour two Guinness. I actually had to stay behind to take care of the bill while my partner went to our table. It was good and I'll go back. Service was super on point. Good was hot and surprisingly delicious for being a touristy spot. It is 1 min from the temple bar.
C. P.
the food was really tasty, we ordered the fish and chips and the pasta with salmon and spinach, a variety of bread with dips and two beers € 52, a reasonable price. the only thing that I didn't like was that the waiter gave me the bill as soon as I finished eating, and I didn't ask for it, it was Monday and the place was not full.
I. N.
The food was lovely and served really fast. The place was really crowded. As soon as we finished our main course they brought us the check, we hadn't finished our beers yet, the server was coming and checking every 2 minutes to see if we had payed. Rude and unprofessional and ruined the entire experience that otherwise would have been really nice. I understand that there are lots of people but probably there is a different(more polite?! ) way to communicate ?
D. K.
Loved it, the food specially the steak was perfection. Very friendly staff and superb atmosphere as above in the restaurant and on the lower floor the pub. Life music with a very happy crowd and the right booze, what more could you ask for
J. B.
Without a doubt one of the best pubs in the Temple Bar area. I stop by here whenever I am in Dublin to enjoy a pint and listen to some live music. The atmosphere is lively and cheerful. Upstairs, the restaurant offers tasty food and efficient service. Highly recommended!
J.
Friendly staff and delicious lunch!
O. S.
Interesting location. The 8oz burger was great. Really really good. The pepper sauce was delicious. I tasted the philly steak and it was good (although the garlic was too much for me), and the steak and chips (good and well cooked). Anyway, the best one was the burger. The Irish coffee was not worthy. I would not order it again. Service ok (too rushy at the end).
K. S.
Food is incredible, wine is on point. Get the sausage + mash with stew, double meat is the one.
a. k.
Very good food.
M. V.
We stayed in Dublin for one night and came here not once, not twice, but four times in a single evening. The drinks, bartenders, music and food upstairs were all exactly what we were looking for. We especially enjoyed the nooks and crannies we found to soak up the environment and charm.
T.
I enjoyed the hell out of the place. Atmosphere was great and the food was plentiful. Since the restaurant is on the 2nd floor we had a prefect overview of the busy street below and watched the entertainers do their thing. I recommend getting a reservation in advance, only because we waited about 10-15 minutes for a table.
G. U.
Amazing food and huge plates. Really really good.
L. G.
Great little hidden gem in the middle of temple bar.
We ate from the 2 course for €19.99 menu and the food was delicious. Very good quality and huge quantity.
Perfect for a nice bite to eat before heading back downstairs to enjoy the live bands and a few pints.
Highly recommend
R. K.
Wonderful meal! Marvelous service! Quick and attentive. Very tasty. Thank you, guys!
R. W.
More like an annex of the American Embassy when we visited but I guess the positive reviews had spread there. Our servers were excellent, the food nice and atmosphere great. The extra "upsell" for a few mushy peas with the fish and chips for €1.50 I considered more than a bit of a gouge, however, I would go back... :-)
D. H.
We found Quays our first day in Dublin and went back on our last evening as it was our favourite. Very busy but still super quick service and very friendly staff. Food was excellent, and the homemade lemonade (with or without a shot of whiskey) was a delicious treat.
S. L.
First time in Ireland and needed a quick authentic meal. Got the suggestion of this place from our Airbnb host for the food. Bangers and mash was great!!! Good beer, amazing service, highly recommend!
S. C.
All 3 of us had lovely meals. Mussels were small and sweet. Chowder was delicious. Chicken and fish meals were also good. Very busy but still great fast service.
J. L.
Had a steak and chips, not bad, staff really friendly
A. E.
Can be quite busy (when there's no pandemic). Great vibe but drinks are expensive which is typical for any pub or bar in Dublin city centre.

It was ok. Located in the heart of Dublin's tourist trap district, namely Temple Bar, you were paying for the privilege of eating and drinking in what is a very authentic old building and bar. Maybe a smaller group would have helped (we were seven) but the location they put us into was not ideal. Not withstanding that, it's a very crowded place that tries to turn over the tables quickly. Food was good but not exceptionally so. Probably better at lunch.

Enjoyed this place, picked at random from those on Temple Bar. Served good traditional fayre plus a few dishes to make the Americans feel at home. I had the sausages and mash, the sausages were large and quality with a good meat content. The gravy it came with was dark and rich.
Am very glad I chose this place to dine. The Guinness here was also well kept

This is a great meeting place. Great to pop in and have a pint while waiting for friends. The bar on the right is usually calmer than the bar on the left which always has a lively atmosphere. Great spot especially if you have friends from out of town. Beers are a little pricey but.. Its temple bar.. definitely worth it!
A. W.
We stopped in for lunch while walking around Temple Bar and it was absolutely fantastic. We've been in Dublin for a week (my first time and my boyfriend's 4th) and this was easily the best place we've eaten. For less than €15 I am absolutely stuffed. The service was great and the food was better. Great food, great portion sizes, great value. As a student I really appreciate this. Would recommend.
C. I.
Great service and even better food
G. O.
Brilliant craic music staff & refreshments 🍻👍
P.
We dined there three times while on our 5 day trip. Our meals were absolutely spot on and delicious. My husband had the Irish coddle and I had the beef stew the first night. We had their bangers and mash the next day and a traditional Irish breakfast the next morning. We loved everything. We're very sad that we can't find anything similar in the states comparable to Irish bangers. I guess we'll just have to visit again to get our next foodie fix.

This was in a great location.
The evening midweek featured live music which was very funny and they were extremely talented.
The bar service was fast, we had no issues there.
The only negative was that the prices were high, 6€ for a beer or single shot of whiskey.
M. B.
Absolutely love this place. This was my 4th visit and it only gets better. Food, drink atmosphere and very importantly the staff are amazing. Cannot wait to visit again. 5 Stars is not enough to be honest and I am very picky about where I eat and drink. Even more so because I am from Dublin. Well done guys, see you all soon.
A. F.
Great meals .. great place ... great people
E. C.
Heard horror stories about temple bar and the prices. But we absolutely loved this pub. The music was great and the prices were average for pints. Definitely worth checking out and enjoying some good Irish music
R. S.
Good place for lunch and the dinner. Very nice interiors, this place is definitely a legit Irish Restaurant. Food is great and tasty. Service is quick and helpful. Prices are moderate. Place can be a bit crowdy but its possible to get a table there.
M. S.
Services was great! Beer selection was very good. Kids menu. Little more expensive than expected but worth the money. 2 adult+beers and 3 kids meals came out to ~€75. I would definitely go again to try other menu items.
K. M.
Great spot, one of the few places open December 26th, live music but a side bar where ya can sit for a quiet pint. Dear pints which is the norm for temple bar but on this occasion we didn't mind paying for it. Bartender had a big beard, really sound fella
K. M.
The place is a bit loud. But the food was amazing. Their seafood chowder was the best I had during my stay here in Ireland. I traveled the whole country, and it was the best one. The fish and pasta was amazing. Nice staff. And fast service even on a busy night. Average wait for a starter was 5mins. Then food was 10mins. Would recommend.
A. A.
Amazing food.
Service was very friendly, great ambience and location.
Food was fresh, hot, timely, and delicious. Great place to get a meal after a day of activities, great if you want good food but not overly expensive, but would rather stray from a pub.
R. B.
I had the best mussels I’ve ever had in my life at Quay’s restaurant. Beautiful little spot for dinner. Followed it up with fun times at the music hall next door. Best night in Galway!
J. L.
Bustling place which serves great food. The say they serve traditional Irish food, if that is true I can't rightly say, but it sure tasted good. Place was packed when I was there, and I was really impressed with the way the staff handled things. They were fast and yet still friendly. Place wasn't even expensive, which was a bit of a surprise, given it's location. Definetely recommended!
M. F.
It's another one of the cliché pubs in temple bar but, and this is a big but. The Quays is very much worth a visit. We dropped in here for food as they had some sort of special on. We ordered food off the main menu and were pleasantly surprised with the food and the service.
The portions were generous, food was well presented and hot and really not badly priced. We had a drink in the bar downstairs after and the atmosphere was good with plenty of room to sit and listen to the live music
Really not that bad. Surprisingly good
A. A.
Came for dinner and got the shepherds pie and fish and chips. The SP was pretty decent but the fish and chips were unremarkable and bland. When we finished we asked for some porto and the waitress didn't know what that was. Turns out they had some but served it to us in a whiskey glass with a side of ice (lol?). Overall it wasn't bad but just not great either.
P. Z.
BEST IRISH FOOD !!! EVERYONE MUST TRY !
M. d. P. P. B.
Cozy.
Traditional.
Tasty food.
Price ok.
B. S.
I ate there March 29th for dinner. The place was slammed. We got a good table and the service was lighting fast! I ordered the beef stew with Guiness stock??? something like that and it was FANTASTIC! The best meal I had in Ireland. If I ever get back I'll be coming here for dinner!
M. F.
Great atmosphere, delightful music, amazing food! Also, our server Jerry was attentive and at the top of his game. We didn't want for anything even though he was noticeably very busy. Very hard worker and amazing server.
R. W.
We arrived just before the evening crush, but were seated rather quickly. By our good luck, we were seated by the bow window overlooking the corner, which was great. Our service was great and the food even better. Huge portions were served. I had Guinness Stew (superb) and my companion had the Coddle. If we had stayed longer, I would have had that next. We are fond of bread pudding, so stuffed as we were, we ordered that masterpiece. Since we were in a hotel without a fridge, we couldn't take home the leftovers, which was sad. If you don't visit this restaurant, you'll really miss a treat.
P. R.
Really great food & quick service
R. V.
It was very busy, but than what do you expect in temple bar? We ate some really nice Irish stew for an OK price. The food was served ridiculously fast, almost uncomfortably fast. Prices are also very much ok for the location and the atmosphere is really nice.
V. R.
The food was extremely tasty. We ordered a meat plate, a fish one and a vegetarian one and they were all very nice. The service was nice too. The only small drawback was the fact that the place was crowded and there wasn't much space between tables. I'll recommend it anyway.
J. L.
Very cozy, but busy restaurant.
Food was very good, we had an Irish stew, Guiness beef stew and a leg of lamb.
We had to wait 25min to be seated on a Saturday night, which is not bad.
All in all a nice experience.
K. L.
When in Dublin, I do the Quays (Keys)!
One of my favorite restaurants abroad. Serving good Irish fair. My favorite is the Guinness Stew. It's total comfort food. I have eaten just about everything on the menu so it's a great choice for 1- 20. And the 20 is about how many people were in my party. The staff can be cheeky sometimes but always genuine. It's located in the heart of Temple bar and the restaurant is located upstairs from their bar on the main floor you enter. The bar also has an Irish band or musician playing live. Plan to go early if you want to eat at a reasonable time. It's super busy around 8 pm.
T. M.
Right in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar area. Very busy usually, so best to book ahead. Had steak and lamb shank. Both were cooked and presented nicely. Wine was good. Staff were very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.
R. B.
We wanted some traditional Irish food and this was perfect.
The food was absolutely delicious. Service was A+. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and was very busy which is always a good sign! Would you 100% recommend
P. W.
Very busy but good fun. Food nice. Worth a visit.
J. G.
Nice pub with live music
A. V.
Everything is just great about this place. Delicious food upstairs, fun parties in the pub!
P. N.
Very nice environment with Irish folk music coming up from the pub below. The Irish stew was amazing.
L. D.
Beautiful hotel, in a beautiful place, far out enough from the centre to get an early night, close enough to get a taxi to stumble home in... 15 euros ish.... after a very busy weekend it's the perfect hotel to kick back and relax, with great entertainment without the hustle and bustle of the town centre! Staff are lovely and pizzas sent to the room even better! Definitely recommend n would totally stay again!!
R. W.
Very friendly staff who even helped me recover a bag that I had left. The bartenders are super nice and the overall bar is clean and well managed. The live music is nice and inviting for a pleasant night in Temple bar
R. F.
Probably my favorite place to eat in Dublin! Got some very filling fish and chips, but the girlfriend got Guinness beef stew which was phenomenal. Also really enjoyed their seafood chowder, which was off the charts. Didn’t have to wait for a table and the service was really good!
M.
In with my son for the Ireland Wales rugby last Saturday. Thought we would have been surrounded by Irish but instead loads of Welsh. Great pub with awesome, friendly staff. We will return. 🏴
A. B.
Great night good fantastic atmosphere
J.
Superpopular pub, extremley crouded takes away some of the geuine feeling.
P. G.
Quays is a great Irish pub and restaurant in the Temple Bar section of Dublin.
They offer Irish music, wonderful drinks and food that cannot be surpassed. I enjoyed the Kerry braised lamb shank that was so , it would almost good enough to call for another trip.
G. T.
Great food, excellent service even when they are busy. Staff friendly and actually seem to like working there. You can see them laughing together and with the customers. And very reasonably priced, what isn't to love.
R. H.
This was a fab restaurant in the vibrant Temple Bars area of Dublin. The beef and Guinness stew was very tasty as were the chicken wings. Would certainly go again. Irish music playing in the background gave it an Irish feel.
C. R.
We loved the beef stew here. So want to go back. It had incredible broth that was a highlight of our culinary Dublin experience. Cottage pie and fish and chips were also very good. We can not wait to go back.
E. F.
The food and service was great! We saved this for a last meal in Dublin and it made our night. Very friendly & helpful staff. The soup and lamb shank are absolutely delicious!
R. S.
It was ok but nothing special..
D. C.
Amazing atmosphere. The guy that greeted us, the waiter and the woman behind the bar. This is how the service industry should be. Take s note from these guys.
The food was amazing (and the beer great!)
Thank you but you set the bar high in Dublin. Lol
F.
UGH This place is more than I imagined a place could be. You need to come here!!
J. M.
Absolutely wonder historic pub in Temple Bar area of Dublin! Have music all day & food & service were great! Had duo special for lunch with seafood chowder & mussels - it was delicious!
R. W.
Went into the Quays pub for a quiet pint. As has been noted in other reviews is the place is amazing.
I arrived early as some of the other pubs were so busy you cannot move.
Will definitely be going there again
P. A.
On our first, cold winter day at Dublin we stopped here for lunch. I had the Irish stew (with Guinness sauce) paired with a good beer and was amazed. Loved the atmosphere, decoration and service too.
I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town.
E. C.
Fantastic restaurant located above a traditional Irish pub right in the heart of temple bar. Prices were reasonable given the tourist trap location and service was prompt and friendly. We visited on a Wednesday evening in April and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, so expect wait times to be much longer during the peak summer season of July / August.
We ordered the soup of the day, chicken wings and pan fried chicken schnitzel.
The soup was thick and creamy with croutons and chives, served with two large slices of fresh Irish soda bread and butter. The chicken wings are served with Chips and BBQ sauce on the side and portions were very large. The pan-fried chicken breast schnitzel is served on a bed of sauted baby potatoes, carrot slices, caramelised onions, green beans and sundried tomatoes. The breading is coated in a buttery garlic sauce.
Overall a very positive experience and relatively reasonable price of 43 euro excluding tip for two people with no drinks.
S. C.
Good place for decent lunch. Can have very good lunch for 10-12 euros. We ordered two dishes- fish and chips and Cajun chicken sandwich with fries.
D. C.
Good quality ingredients, nice and kind service. But it us a bit pricey in my opinion a meal and a pint of tap beer cost me 25 euros and that was not even a high end meal choice. Also other bars had live music, this one had recorded music.
F. K.
Good Irish restaurant, quite similar to the neighboring Old Mill. ;)
Lunch has reduced prices, but dinner is affordable too. No live music in at nicht, go down to their pub instead.
We had the salmon pasta (great!), burger and Philly cheese. (Already had stew and lamb earlier that day. :) )
R. E.
Visited Quays twice during our visit to Dublin for the weekend, fantastic place with great food and service could not fault anything on both occasions.
The live music on the Saturday evening was great and did not disapoint even after built up to what we thought was an unreasonable expectation bunny partner but it was no exaggeration!!
Don't miss out on visiting whenever you visit Dublin it's a must.
E. G.
Really tasteful and nice service as well
D. J.
Food is okay and the atmosphere is decent. The place is too crowded and loud to enjoy though. Seating is tight throughout the restaurant. An okay place for a tourist but there are better restaurants in the area.
C. E. T.
No frills place for a wonderful Irish meal! Tried the chowder and clam and I was blown away!
A. H.
Had surf and turf, awesome steak, thick cut, cooked exact and melt in the mouth prawns, philly steak was perfectly cooked, awesome pepper sauce. Service with a smile. From one chef to another, very well done.
J. E.
Absolutely amazing food so bring your appetite and your thirst for a Guinness or a Jamesons. Seated quickly at 6pm and served just as fast. Staff and kitchen are amazing. Absolutely at top 5 recommendation
p. k.
Great food, great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Marked down one star as they were pretty slow with the mains, but they were quite busy and had been very quick with our starters and child's meal.
M. L.
Such a great place! We love it. Good food, typical irish and the service is awake, friendly and always with a from heart coming smile. We recommend it absolutely!
A. S.
Food is quite good and very fast served at a affordable price. But service is walking around like a tiger in the cage, what is really annoying. Beer is hell expensive: almost 7 Euro for one pint. All in all good but I expected a bit more due to high rates here.
P. T.
Fantastic Irish pub food in a cool environment! The staff is very pleasant! It can definitely get loud in there but it's worth it. Reasonably priced for what you get
a. b.
Amazing place! Try Lunch specials :)
C. G.
We really enjoyed our night here, we had very good chowder, calamari, salmon and steak. The service was really good. We stayed for the live music after dinner which was great, a mix of covers and irish music, recommended :)
A. M.
Popped in on a Thursday tea time managed to grab a couple of seats a pint of guinness and watch the football on TV and listen to the singers. They were great with a variety of songs not all Irish. Been in a few time great bar.
G. F.
We were listening to music and started to go look for a place to have dinner when we saw the door for the restaurant up stairs. Was crowded but we were seated right away, quick service, food was really good, very impressed.
S. B.
Nice, noisy and with good food. Even if in the tourist center of Dublin is a very good pub. Wonderful steak and nice salmon.
D. D.
Where: Quays Irish Restaurant
What: Fish and chips & Irish stew
How was it: Delicious. Practically any pub we would find in the main strip would be delicious.
The ambiance is great and the stew was warming after a full day out sight seeing.
Grade: Eli = 5, Serge = 5
Recommend: Yes, try this place !
S. K.
Great place and service in upstairs, downstairs was a little bit smelly place. We went first to the pub, searching fot food. There was a weird smell in the pub and very loud and drunk people.
Restaurant in upstairs was a different world! Nice place and great service. Food was really good ja prices were ok. Try Traditional Irish Stew, it was excellent!
a. c.
Great food! The mussels didn't seem very fresh though, but the seafood chowder that came with it was really good! Beef stew was great as well.
G. K.
Very nice place, was super busy but our food came in good time and it was delicious! The Irish stew is so good! Would definitely go back!
T. S.
Great live music! Great drinks. We enjoyed our stay every single minute. Sure it´s a tourist thing here, but the party was awesome!
C. C.
Busy, noisy, good food. Couldn't make a reservation because they kept saying "can't hear you" on the phone. Sorry wait for a table at 8:30 on a Thursday. Unexpectedly moved next door to the sister restaurant which is slightly less busy but had the same food.
R. G.
Great little pub with a lical singer who entertained everyone.
b.
Went to the Quays on 9th March 16 and had one of the best meals that we've had in a very long time
Started with boxty cake, a meal in it's self and I had the squid, cooked to perfection and so tasty. Mains were Irish stew, big bowl of meaty goodness and my wife had the chicken wings and this was the biggest bowl, need to have an appetite.
Bread and butter pudding for desserts and this finished me off, couldn't eat or drink anything else.
Good service looked after very well
So bottom line is highly recommend this place but come with an empty stomach and be prepared to not be able to move at the end.
Very good value for money
E. B.
Beautiful bar downstairs and staff really pleasant. Manager was very nice and entertaining for the tourists. The food upstairs was great and a good price. Will definitely be back.
R. T.
Recommended this place but our hostel, strongly recommend booking for the restaurant but we were snuck in as one couple left and before the table was booked again. Staff were very friendly, served us very quickly and food was amazing and delicious.
A. W.
Really nice food. Nice friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Definatley recommend eating here
P.
Tasteful, But Simple dishes. Touristy But friendly staff. No fine dining, But charming nevertheless. Quite big and servings are quick and big. Good options for kids.
J. M.
Loved the Irish steak, and came again for the Irish stew / bangers and mash plate. Very good.
The place is small and cozy. And is separate from the bar downstairs.
M. G.
Very tasty food, especially fish and bacon cheese chips. Service was great and really helpful, location just in the centre makes it excellent choice during sightseeing
J. O.
Great quick service, outstanding food and in a convenient location when in the Temple Bar area. When order something with fries make sure to get a side of peppercorn gravy, it is amazing!
B. Q.
The food was incredible. I had the bangers and mash with a whiskey. Very fairly priced, quick service and a very short wait even on a busy night.
B. G.
Cute tourist pub. They had good food, and the Guinness flowed freely.
R. C.
Fun place as long as you have plenty money and don't piss the singer off, he didn't have a sense of humour and apparently laughing too loud is not allowed. Apart from that fun bar staff, good drinks (just pricy but so are most in Temple Bar area)
M. L.
The place is ok but the service is like this: no smile, eat , drink fast , pay and go away. They psychically push you to end your meal and beer. Change it guys , don t be like typical turistic places and show the irish hospitality to the people.
M. K.
When seen from the outside and the first impressions it is just another average restaurant, but was I ever so wrong! Service was top as well as the food. Perfectly cooked and the service time was phenomenal! Well worth a visit
L. J. C.
First time in Dublin and heard the Quays was a must go to place, arrived.. friendly area, came in and was seated straight away, lovely service and food came almost instantly! We finished our food quick it was so delicious! We had the traditional Irish stew and the famous dumplin coddler!
Q. M. A.
Food is amazing, according to my friends who are tourists and can afford it. It is Temple Bar area and a pint is 6,20. If you're not on a budget, it is a nice place. Staff is nice.
P. E.
Nice tavern, great lunch specials. Loved my beef stew, everyone around me loved their meals. Served quickly too and friendly staff.
M. V. G.
Great food and friendly service
M. H.
Straight forward bar. Had bar seats in a Friday.
F. P.
Good marketing...classic meals for tourists...stews, steak, fish and chips.. I am from middle european country where we cook this kind of food often and even more variations with ingredients and ow and where is what cooked etc...respect for variation with ingredients, but everyone uses what's closest and available to him...it is not make the food less tasty, just is it worth of that price? Something you cook once a week probably and usually for the next day to stay...again, location justify the price a little, but it could be a little more choice to have, than again if what I offer sells good, why to change anything? There is a kids menu as well...so I would recommend and if you want something more or something else I am sure you will find something not far away from Quays
F. P.
Great food good beer
A. W.
Guinness, live music, great evening & the best memories from Dublin :)
J. S. (.
Always packed with people and live music. Good Guinness. Don't ask to pay by card, the bar staff don't appear to like that! There are better and cheaper pubs nearby.
M. K.
Very very good
P. B.
Realy good burgers, the goat cheese salad was excelent!
d.
Let's face it, this is the place you go to to enjoy the irish atmosphere whilst in Dublin, by that I mean this is a drinking and live music kind of place.
It's very busy here all the time regardless of day, night or day of the week!
We came here on a Monday afternoon and it was busy with irish folk bands playing, people from all over the world enjoying a few stouts and personally, this was exactly what I wanted/expected.
Great atmosphere in here on par with Temple bar.
g. c.
If you are in Dublin you cannot miss this place! Really cool place, full of young people in the weekend from everywhere in world! Live music, Guinness and magical atmosphere
N. T.
While it's in the very bustling tourist district of temple bar this place is absolutely worth the visit. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, the food came out super fast and was delicious, and the atmosphere is very playful and relaxed.
P. A.
Local among my favorites in the center. It offers gluten-free options and are all exquisite. Super friendly service and even if you have to wait a few minutes to sit, it’s really worth it.
S. T.
It was delicious and with good prices.👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
m. m.
The food was actually okay, and the price was on par for the area. I had the Irish stew and it was really thick, hearty, and huge! Our service was really good as well.
B. L.
Great pub and restaurant ,recommended.
D. B.
Really good food at an affordable price in Temple Bar.
A. B.
Perfect place to taste local food
P. T.
Not quite as popular as Temple Bar but in my eye, far better! Live music and drinks flowing. Plus, there is some great food upstairs!
A. D.
Very good traditional Irish grub with great service. Seafood chowder was mostly seafood, not mostly carrot and potato. Waitress was polite and efficient. The Famous Dublin Coddle was delicious as was the chowder.
M. D.
Saw live music here on our first day in Dublin. It was an absolute blast! Very crowded, but it was a Friday afternoon in the Temple Bar area. No complaints!
M. G.
As part of the Swiss Delegation of the European Coworking Conference, we came here to enjoy some traditional Irish cuisine. The starter with mussels was delicious and the main course... a braised Wicklow lamb shank. Oh, I just get hungry by remembering it.
It was a memorable evening and the waiter was very forthcoming. Due to the "full house" it was very loud and crowded.
Nevertheless, I hope to come back one day.
Y. D.
Great fish and chips! The next day we went back for the mussels...which were perfect. Totally worth waiting for a table (for 30minutes)!
K. B.
Amazing environment with great music all afternoon!
P. Z.
Great food. I recommend.
b. s.
Top service. Highly recommend the slow cooked beef and Guinness stew. Great!
Family friendly staff, very kind!
G. H.
The food was really good and pretty decent on price. The place was packed and our waiter had quite a few tables but still managed to take care of us.
G. C.
George was the most excellent Service person, handsome, humble, personable and most importantantly attentive. Food was delish, to say the least. Atmosphere was quaint, yet happening- infants to an old crew like us. xo
J.
Very good fish and chips
M. H.
Had drinks one evening, and breakfast the next, here. Breakfast was lovely. Really clean place with good toilet facilities; gets busy, but not as cramped as other bars around here.
J. G.
The food was great. Had the seafood chowder and the beef stew. All fresh and hot. The staff was very attentive as well. A wonderful experience!
J. G.
Wonderful pub! Guinness stew, fish and chips, bangers and brew! Plentiful menu, adult and non adult beverages, fascinating atmosphere.
A. w.
Selling many different beers & not too highly priced. Food service was quick & tasty (beacon & cabbage). Good real live Irish music .
E. L.
Love this spot! It was so much fun and packed with people on a Thursday night. I loved the music and the trivia questions on the TV screen. Will definitely come back to this spot.
S. H.
Friendly good music
S. M.
Great food and very courteous staff. I ordered the Irish stew which was quite tasty. A bit expensive but understandable considering the central location.
E. W.
Had to wait to get a table but it was worth the wait. Awesome environment and very large area inside where you can have dinner or just stop in for a pint.
M.
I'm going to give them good for service and food, because I don't know how the food is and it's hardly the people working there that make it an unbearable place to be. Full of tourists. The bands play cliché boredom too loud for anyone to have a conversation. The clientèle are worthy of a resounding: meh. and I think that can go for the whole place.
C. K.
Very cool pub with welcoming staff. The Beef Guinness stew was tasty.
I definitely recommend this place.
T. B.
Get the fish and chips, the best in Ireland!
E. B.
What a great pub...don't deny yourself the pleasure...
M. R.
Great first meal in Ireland! Try it and you won't be disappointed. Stew or steak are what to order! Overpriced but everything in Temple Bar is, so get used to it!
A.
Amazing food.Highly recommend Bangers & mash and chouder soup, service was great as waiters are very attentive!! 5 star feom me.
M. B.
Friendly staff, specially the Brazilian lady. Good Irish stew.
C. L.
Excellent Irish food!!! Restaurant is upstairs and the bar is down. We went to the upstairs only. Well worth it!
F. P.

The food, the service was amazing! Although it was very hot in the restaurant! Couldn't wait to leave to the cool air!
F. K.
Good Irish restaurant, quite similar to the neighboring Old Mill. ;)
Lunch has reduced prices, but dinner is affordable too. No live music in at nicht, go down to their pub instead. …
D. B.
Lived up to its reviews and we had a good family meal. Service was good and portions generous. Glad we booked as it gets very busy.
a. c.
Great food! The mussels didn't seem very fresh though, but the seafood chowder that came with it was really good! Beef stew was great as well.

Always packed with people and live music. Good Guinness. Don't ask to pay by card, the bar staff don't appear to like that! There are better and cheaper pubs nearby.

Excellent good. It was very busy when we went. We got a table after a couple of minutes waiting. We ordered the Taste of Ireland meal. It was tasty and filling.
C. D.
The food, the service was amazing! Although it was very hot in the restaurant! Couldn't wait to leave to the cool air!
D. T.
Fantastic place, fantastic food, fantastic staff (especially Sarah) & reasonably priced. Would highly recommend, couldn't do enough for us
K. J.
Touristic restaurant serving traditional Irish dishes. I was very happy with my cottage pie, combination of smashed potates and beef cooked in the oven. The staff is very nice and welcoming.
e. l.
We have to wait for 15mins
m. c.
There wasn't too much people and we've been served directly.
The plates were full and tasted pretty good.
Our waiter was really attentionated.
E. B.
To use an English term; BLOODY FANTASTIC.
J. Z.
Excellent good. It was very busy when we went. We got a table after a couple of minutes waiting. We ordered the Taste of Ireland meal. It was tasty and filling.
N. W.
We go the Quays every time we're in Dublin. Great music and always get a good reception even when in a large group of lads. Can get busy so get in early on a weekend
f. f.
Excellent meals, waiters are very nice and ambience at the pub is fantastic. Live music all day long. Enjoy!
N. M.
Excellent atmosphere & great live bands, prices are reasonably high for being on the main street but it's expected. Never ate here just saw the night life.
S. W.
Ambience is very nice. Food is very good, although this is a restaurant clearly meant for tourists. Service is very friendly and helpful. Prices are (for irish conditions) favorable.
B. B. Z.
Everyone's super nice and friendly, food is amazing. The Guinness beef stew was completely mouth watering. Can't wait to come back!
D. I.
Lovely restaurant, nice atmosphere and good music. Great traditional food and the prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and service. The food was fantastic with large portions. Do not leave Dublin without eating at Quays!!
L. B.
Fast and friendly service! Tradtional irish stew and the guinness stew were really good! Only prob it was really really warm inside and even when two fans were on we were still sweating...would be nice if they could open the windows!
E. F.
Very good food. If you're not local, keep in mind that most places like this, the restaurant is upstairs.

Nice and cool bar with good people, good music and fresh Guinness.
I enjoyed a good live show, a dude making covers.
I loves that place!

Visited the pub already a couple days ago, today the restaurant. Great atmosphere in the bar and really good, Irish food!
C. J.
Super touristy. Very expensive also. €8 a pint of Guinness! Tonnes of live Irish music playing though. Very busy during the late afternoon when I went.

Good hot wings. The Dublin Cobble (sausage, mash and Irish Stew) was amazing. Service was quick and staff were lovely.
M. O.
Delicious Bangers and Mash, and great beer choices. Wait staff was really nice, and checked on us often, even though it was busy.
M. G.
Looks like a tourist trap, but was really good. Lunch specials go until 6pm. They also have early dinner specials which include an appetizer.
G. G.
A great place in Dublin that we return to on each visit.
K. P.
We had a great experience here ! Drunk Irish beer listening and dancing to Irish songs. You'll love the atmosphere on a Sunday night !

The beef stew was amazing! I love this restaurant and would return the next time I am in Dublin.

Great atmosphere. Old woodwork style. Little congested though. Good for sea food. Good quantity n value. Family place
B. d.
Food was great but service was slow and very unattentive. Space was also cramped. Bench seating on the inside was uncomfortable and I kept getting hit in the back when servers rushed by.
I. S.
Decent food and beer, good service. A bit too touristy and pricy for my taste, but I think that's just the area.
C. P.
Good pub with nice music. Removing the star for the high price. Recommend to visit during the week as because of it's central location, it's always really packed.
T. D.
Nice service. I got the Shepard's pie. It was very flavorful and came out piping hot which I like.

Very nice place with great food. We were lucky to find a table on Saturday night.

Great food and music.

We had to wait 20 minutes before a table was free. But that was definitely worth it!!!!!! Very GOOD FOOD!!!!!! For a decent price.
C. D.
Nice staff, nice environment. I had the Traditional Irish Stew. Not great, but edible. I wouldn't eat here again.

Great atmosphere with the live music. Pints are okay priced, not too expensive for the Temple Square area.
R. B.
Nice place, nice food and nice staff. Just be aware that when its busy they will push you out whether you finished your drink or not...

Good pub, good location. live music. good buzz in the bar. It is always full, but much like everywhere in Temple Bar, the price of drinks is too high
J. A.
I spent a lesiure time in this place when I was in Dublin. Good live music and even though it is situated in Temple bar zone, beers aren't expensive!
C. L.
Excellent Irish food!!! Restaurant is upstairs and the bar is down. We went to the upstairs only. Well worth it!
J. M.
Staff are very polite and friendly. Food is really good. Seems popular though to be expected since it is in the heart of temple bar.
V. M.
The staff is delightfully friendly, the food came extremely quick and they even helped us get change so that we could take the bus back to our hotel.
K. D.
Food was good 👍

This was where I got my first Irish pint, and I was not let down. The courteous and sassy bartender showed us a good time with service that would shame any American bar packed with people.
V.
Take the Guinness Stew, that’s amazing!!
M. B.
Very good traditional Irish food and Irish atmosphere! Low waiting time! Very good experience! Thank you!
S. P.

People from all over the world gather to watch old hits from the U.S. Busy but very attentive bartenders. Lack of conversations but I’ll definitely go back and try again.
J. R.
I always tale visitors here when they want classic Irish food for lunch. Friendly staff, good pub food, decent prices.
D. S.
Great food in a fun part of town, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. A lot of the staff is rather rude.

Good food and excellent location for tourists.
I gave 1 less star because one of the waiter was rude.

This pub is too us the most fun place to spend an evening listening to the great musicians they have lined up, just a great atmosphere and I don't think anyone would not enjoy this pub
Y. C.
Loved the live music. Food was ok... The girl at the bar was not as nice as you'd expect from an Irish bar though
M. R.
We always have the greatest time at the Quays. Great live music, good (and not overpriced) beers and excellent staff!
A. B.
Amazing food. Very fast. Delicios fish soup. I highly recommend. Excellent Irish experience.
A. M.
The stew was delicious, the drinks are way to expensive. The service was ok. The location is the famous temple bar in Dublin city centre.
R. A.
This place serves delicious food!!! The food was so good that I looked for Irish food back home in Long Beach CA and it was also delicious!!!
A. A.
Great atmosphere, nice food. I've had a delicious stew made with Guinness.

J. F.
Really great atmosphere, had the seafood chowder which was amazing and lovely break, quickest service in my life!

Very touristy bar with inflated prices. The live music was some of the best we heard during our stay in Dublin though.

Great music, staff, and food. Directly in Dublin's centre. The interior is beautiful.
