Reviews of Roberta's

Located on Dublin's Temple bar, Roberta's presents nothing but a door and a logo at street level however once you head on up you are treated to a bright and fairly expansive, stylishly decorated restaurant and bar area. If you fancy the Al fresco there is also the trendy terrace area.
They easily accommodated all 6 of our work group. The staff were very friendly and chatty if not a bit scarce when we first arrived (and the area was fuller) .
The menu is both compact and varied, although one colleague was disappointed the "regular" / non vegan burgers are only available on the brunch menu.
I had the ham hock starter with pickled vegetables. It had good texture and taste, and pretty large as far as starters go. Followed by the crispy seabass with rosemary potatoes. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, crispy skinned but still light and flaky and incredibly tasty. The dish was a little let down by the vegetables which were just a bit past perfect and unfortunately cold.
The cheese board was huge and shared between 2 of us. The cocktail selection was fun and extensive, although I was a little confused as to why the entire of the outside of my glass needed to be coated in sugar.
It was unfortunate that the night was so brief due to the government guidelines, we would have surely stayed to sample more of the cocktails.

One of the best hollandaise sauces I’ve tried in Dublin! Nice ambiance, classic brunch food, and really kind staff. Would love to go back.

Went to this place on my birthday, and I loved it! Great cocktails, great food, great ambience, good portions, value for money. And what's more, they surprised me with a candle on my blueberry cheesecake with a 10% discount! Of course their thoughtfulness deserved the 10% back. Will be here again ❤️

Lovely place for brunch right at the end of temple bar. The decor is amazing and give a very new York kind of feel. Brioche French toast and Belgian waffle with fried ice cream was super tasty.
C. L.
Staff are sound and very accommodating, restaurant itself it nice, open airy modern industrial style. Mains were pretty good and reasonable. Drink was quite expensive, the deserts let it down a bit. But still a pleasant visit.

Enjoyed a holiday dinner with colleagues- lovely food, cocktails and location. Excellent service! Well done!

I visited Roberta's with my two girlfriends and the service was fantastic. We were really well looked after. I would highly recommend Roberta's.

Small but interesting menu. Great selection of spritzes and cocktails. Service was great a small error on the bill, partly our fault, was quickly and politely corrected.

Really nice place to sit and eat. A very unique smokers room where roof opens. Lovely food and a great atmosphere
R. B. O.
Amazing venue, nice music, nice drinks and a really nice place to go with family or friends. You really need to book in advance, otherwise you won't be able to get a table. The food is amazing with super high quality and prices are quite competitive (around €25 for a meal without alcohol). The staff is nice but we have had bad service in one of the times we visited for brunch. There is also an outside area where you can smoke and is nice for rainy days as it is covered.

Amazing atmosphere. Amazing food. Amazing drinks. You can’t go wrong going here. We had dinner the night before leaving Dublin. The inside is very upscale but casual. You can go in a pair of jeans or a suit. The layout of the restaurant offers plenty of seating options. Loved this restaurant!

Lovely restaurant. I ordered the sea bass with potatoes and it was delish! Very nice atmosphere with friendly waiters.

Visited Roberta’s for a lunch with a girlfriend. The room is inviting, gorgeous interior design. The hostess was very welcoming and kind. The drinks were really good and the service was great. We were however a little disappointed in the brunch menu, very limited, kind of basic and not many lunch options.

The highlight of this place is the buzzing ambience with great cocktails. My favourite was the Azalea gardens (You can't have just 1). For those who love a great taste but want to take it slow, try their Low ABV cocktails, its promising. Slightly on an expensive side, the date nights are worth it!

This is my 3rd time in Roberta’s, but first time for brunch. It lived up to expectations again! I ordered the baked eggs which were delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back

Amazing place. I had great fun there.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and very polite waitresses;)

Cool and well - decorated bar restaurant in the heart of Dublin! Out waiter was very friendly and accommodating for our requests. The service was timely and the food was of high quality. The bar area is also very nice and allows for conversation. Recommended when in Dublin!
d.
The cocktails were very watery and pretty tasteless. At least the 2 we tried. All the rest was amazing. The atmosphere of the place in general was really good, the food delicious, and even though they were really understaffed the two ppl on the floor did a great job. Fairplay to you guys.
j. b.
Fantastic place to eat. Great atmosphere. Staff friendly and efficient.

Located at the end of the temple bar area it is a very nice restaurant. I recommend to book a table as it gets very busy on weekends. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. They have a big selection of white and ride wines. I tried the steak which was prepared and cooked to the point. So if you like a nice restaurant and wine you will find it there.
C. D.
very nice looking restaurant. friendly staff. decent food.

We really enjoyed brunch in Robertas. We were wandering around Temple Bar and dropped in without a booking. Thankfully the really polite girl at reception was able to accommodate us. The venue is a hidden gem - small doorway on the street but follow the stairs up and you won't be disappointed! High ceilings and large loft style dining with a huge centre bar and large windows. It is a truly beautiful space. Very few places like this in Dublin. The staff were professional from start to finish. The food was excellent and the portions were huge!! I ordered the 'brekkie pizza' which had bacon, sausage, egg and pudding on it - absolutely delicious! We've been here a few times now and will keep returning for brunch and dinner. Highly recommended. 5 stars.
S. B.
Good atmosphere and experience at Roberta's. The food was very enjoyable, although they forgot to bring us the croquettes we ordered. Otherwise the service was pretty attentive and friendly.
O. J. L.
The interior decor of this restaurant is really impressive, I bring all my friends just to see stars in their eyes. I love to spend some time there and have cocktails, I also had dinner a few times and it was good!
M. K.
Roberta’s has always been a restaurant I recommend to friends, as they have always not disappointed me...until now. The pancakes have always been a favorite! But this new size just looks like the pancakes were lost in the bowl. Although the staff says it’s the same size just separated into two, I do not believe it. Please bring back the pancakes we’ve learn to know and love.
B. A.
Service was slow and my steak was cold when it finally arrived to the table. I was looking forward to eating here but unfortunately trying to get our waiters attention on different occasions was such a hassle and just wasn’t the experience I was looking for. And cold food isn’t really appealing either. It was on a Saturday night so I’m not sure if this was the reason why.
F. S.
The atmosphere in this place is great, the beat location and the bar looks incredible. The menu has great dishes and same with wine and of course cocktails 🍸.
A.
Thus is my favourite place for brunch. Food is absolutely lovely and great location
A. T.
Roberta's was a surprise. And a pleasant one at that. A rather unassuming entrance door nestled away on the busy street, leading up a dark stairway lit in a reddish hue. At the top of the two flights of stairs (there is a lift as well) we were welcomed by a large, open and really quite beautiful space. The main bar is under a glass canopy that seals off a wide courtyard from the elements and allows daylight to flood the space. A very welcoming and warm setting. Gin and whiskey selection is not as varied as it could be but some interesting options there nonetheless. Would happily return here.
S. o.
Staff were great ! They gave us a private room and a set menu as there were 14 of us. We had a lovely evening. Food fab!
D. O. C.
Lovely food but service can be a bit slow for Saturday brunch. Staff are friendly and quick to help. Limited brunch menu currently.
N. G.
Had a good brunch here. Great food with a great selection of espresso martinis (brunch menu comes with a choice of two). Friendly staff as well. Would come back!
T. G.
Great delicious food. The staff was so friendly. Prices are ok for what you get
M.
Amazing experience in every way. Amazing staff, facilities, drinks and the best pizza ever! Cant wait to return :)
D. H.
Love to come here on Saturday or Sunday for Brunch. One of the best places in Dublin.
Atmosphere and Decor are phenomenal. Open spaces, tables not too close to each other and the furniture is comforable.
Service is friendly and attentive.
Food is absolutely spectecular. I've had the eggs and avocado toast, both of which I would order again in a heartbeat.
Highly recommended!
S. W.
Such a lovely setting for a Sunday brunch. Food was really tasty and very generous portions. Would love to go back and try an evening meal
U. D.
Loved it. I had the seafood linguine. It was amazing. Wines are a bit pricey but still one or two moderately priced bottles on offer!
K. R.
Friendly service. Good quality food albeit relatively simple fare, decent cocktails. Possibly a bit overpriced but you're paying for the coolness of the location as much as anything. Nice spot overall
b. K.
Great place for large groups for meals, service was really good, food was OK, my calamari was over cooked, Pizzas looked nice though, I would go back again and maybe order the pizza!
J. f.
Went for dinner with my husband. I have several food allergies so eating out can be tricky at times. Our waitress didn’t seem to know what could be adapted all that well, but the kitchen staff were able to accommodate me without any issues. I had the fillet steak and lovely thick handcut chips. Food was good, cocktails were excellent. Great night out :-)
k. w.
The food, drinks and staff were great. The extraction fans over the outside terrace were terrible and made it difficult for us to hear each other.
Recommended but sit inside
T. C.
Been here a couple of times, still not sure about it. If you want to go in for a drink or cocktail, definitely do it! The bar is great and the bartenders make great suggestions. I think their veggie options are a bit scarce and boring. It's frustrating going in during January but they still serve their Christmas menu and didn't mention it on the website. Pizzas are nice enough but if you ask for any extras, they usually don't have it. Strange to serve a goats cheese starter yet you can't have goats cheese on your pizza. Surprising for the price.
S. C.
Delicious brunch, loved the mango mimosa! 👌
O. T.
Have been numerous times at night and once now for morning brunch. Great evening vibes, stylish decor, lively atmosphere and good music. Recommend for cocktails. Food was very good too.
P. M.
First visit . Had a great relaxing evening. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere.
Staff were lovely and not intrusive. Not rushed or under pressure.
Food was excellent and pizzas to die for
M. S.
Really nice restaurant with charming ambiance, decoration and light. Lovely window dome. Had brunch with friends while visiting Dublin during the weekend.
👍🏼 Baked eggs + lovely pancakes
D. C.
Food was just ok. Very small brunch/ lunch menu. Place was pretty empty and they enforced time limit which was disappointing.
N. N.
Lovely place. Fantastic atmosphere and beautiful interior. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was great. Big portions too.
M. M. B.
Great atmosphere, great food. Definitely worth a visit!
R.
Love it, wonderful staff, drinks and food. Great setting too.
A. M.
Delicious food! Excellent service, and a really beautiful place to eat!
Beautiful views. My favourite brunch place in the city
J. D.
Had the Garganelli Pasta with Courgette, Gorgonzola and Pine Nut Salsa, Courgette Flower and the Handcut Fries with Crispy Spicy Pork, Chili Mayonnaise and Parmesan. They were grand, probably wouldn't order them again.
Great drinks menu. I had to knock off a star because we both got pints on draught and they were both warm. This was toward the end of the night so there was no point complaining.
It's a tad pricey as well. I'd order pizza if I had to go back but I probably won't do so off my own bat. Not a huge fan of the Press Up Group's portfolio.
T. R.
I just felt uncomfortable the way the guy in the entry asked for covid certificate without checking first if the reservation was for terrace or indoors. Besides that, the food and the service were great.

Tonight myself and my Boyfriend went out for our first date since November 2020, and I managed to grab a last minute booking here, which I was super excited for due to the good word I'd heard about this restaurant.
Now, alot of restaurants I've been to In Dublin that have this kind of publicity around them, never live up to the hype. But I was sorely mistaken as the minute we arrived into Robertas I was blown away simply by the friendly staff and Beautiful outdoor eating area.
Immediately we were sat down at this beautiful table by Ciaran, who from the get go made me feel as if I was at a friend's for dinner and that did not waiver throughout the night.
The food was beautiful from the fish , to the pasta, not a single flaw. We were ooo-ing and aaa-ing through out the whole meal, and stuffed our faces so much we couldn't even get to dessert!
I can absolutely appreciate the stress the staff must have been through the last few days with outdoor dining, but you couldn't even notice due to the level of attention and just pure work they staff at Robertas clearly put in.
I know this is very long winded but I just had to make sure that they received the credit they are due! I will be back and recommending this place to everyone I can find, we're beyond delighted.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and good service.
M. M.
Best pizza dough EVER! 🍕♥️Thanks for the lovely evening. Nice atmosphere and funny bartenders!
r. s.
Great location with really good vibe and atmosphere...feels like you've stepped into the 1920s with its decoration...very cool smoking area... Pizzas are amazing and reasonable... Highly recommend the four cheese sooo tasty...
J. C. S.
Just so completely wonderful. Thank you for an incredible experience.
F. C. M.
Spectacularly beautiful dining room and bar. Just stunning on a sunny day - the large windows and the skylight above the bar really come into their own. We came here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The eggs Benedict were the best I've ever had - perfect potatoes, perfect yolks, beautiful sauce... The Bellinis they make here also tasted super special. Lovely, friendly service.
S. C.
Enjoyed our visit to Robertas. Lovely pizza and very helpful staff.
C. L.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Really like it. It just become my favorite spot. I see you soon.
d. h.
amazing food and was asked to show covid cert very pleasant staff great atmosphere
P. S.
Price doesn't match with what you get, lacks the essential - flavor. If you are looking for brunch options, I wouldn't recommend here.
P.
Henrique and captain top men, lovely food, great atmosphere, unbelievable staff and amazing cocktails highly recommend
J. e. C.

Thank u robertas and thank u Luiz for everything!❤️
J. D.
Entrance bit hidden, great place for group dinner or work group, tasty and creative food, nice and helpful staff.
Really clean bathroom.
S. B.
Great experience, wasn’t expecting to be seated in the smoking area for their COVID friendly outdoor dining but no problem all the same! Staff were fab and very attentive
P. S.
Well, that was some pizza! unbelievably tasty, really filling and you got a free pint with it as well. super friendly staff, couldn't recommend it more!
M. B.
Exceptional food. All the waitress and waitresses extremely attentive. I'd definitely come back
d. f.
We booked this fab restaurant as a family of 9 for two nights in August. The food was incredible each night. What stands out also is the professional and friendly staff with management second to none. It was like having a night at home with being waited on hand and foot. Management couldnt have done enough for us and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Dublin/Temple Bar Area. Well done to all the staff and a big shout out to Ciaran for two fantastic nights. Looking forward to going back soon.
C. R.
Pizza was underwhelming and they don't serve Guinness but the place looks nice and the staff were nice
S. O. C.
Fab place, staff were friendly, and the food was delicious would highly recommend. I had an aubergine dish and was yum.
A.
Bar area was good, Sean was very helpful and creative with his cocktails which is great! Dinner was nice, the table service was OK
A. G.
Lovely and light! Definitely one of the nicest venues for a sunny cool day in Dublin. Good menu.
R. M.
Gluten free pizza and knowledgeable staff! The staff I dealt with were quickly able to answer questions about gluten free options and offered to check with the kitchen for safety. Delicious pizzas in a beautiful setting but there are a lot of nice choices other than that too. Huge bar area and a decent selection of drinks and cocktails.
S. N. S.
Booked online and was able to write a message that it was my boyfriends birthday (they brought out a small dessert with a candle )
Sat in a comfy and spacious booth, there was hand sanitiser on the table also.
Great service and friendly staff excellent food and presentation.
Will definitely return.
Cocktails are also amazing !
B. J. C.
Gorgeous place with good service and good. (Elevator could have used some olfactory refreshing.)
D. W.
Great wait staff. Very accommodating. Food not very hot when brought to the table. Only down side
S. M.
Fantastic creatively designed space hidden away behind the black entrance on a busy temple bar street. Vibe akin to both other famous Dublin "girls", Sophie's in Dean hotel and Angelina's off Baggot street. Pizza was slightly unusual( so food makes it 4 star review), but tasty enough and service extremely attentive. Great buzz!
A. O.
Booked a table for 20 for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. The staff were more than accommodating to us, especially the toddler who wanted to sit in the middle of the table! Food was good, drinks were good, atmosphere was great! Wonderful restaurant and will definitely be back soon! Would be 5 stars except a few of our drinks had to be ordered a few times because they never arrived.
P. D.
Simply a doorway off the street leads up to a fabulous fabulous restaurant. A spacious setting with various seating arrangements including chic booths. The staff were very efficient and friendly and explained the menu in full. A simple menu not complicated which was easy to make a choice. Our group ordered a variety of mains, striploin and fillet steaks, salmon and pasta dishes. All were elegantly presented and cooked to perfection. Good wine list including half bottles and by the glass on selected wines. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion. Well worth a visit.
T. E.
Very good atmosphere! Food and drinks are great.
R. T.
Really nice and fancy restaurant, but a bit too expensive
M. L.
Food is very good, nice and tasty, I had a lovely pot of tea.
D. F.
Great night at Roberta’s. Four of us booked in for dinner and it was excellent from start to finish. We were served by Jade & Julian, both were really friendly and answered our many questions. Roberta’s is stunning both on the eyes and the pallet. Really looking forward to our next visit. Ciaran the host also made us feel very welcome and safe as we had our own booth and lots of space between us and the next table.
T. B.
Lovely place to eat and drink staff were very helpful and friendly

A must do culinary experience for anyone visiting Dublin. The food is very well thought through and everything on the menu reads with excitement. Amazing selection of cocktails, I tried “ Good as gold” The combination of the ingredient made a unique flavor. Amazing staff I must say as they were looking after our needs all time. Excellent location in the heart of temple bar. Great job here lads.
E.
Amazing food and cocktails, and our Scottish server was fantastic - so attentive and accomodating!
G.
Expensive enough cocktails but food and atmosphere was lovely.
P. S.
Great food, good atmosphere and good service!
D. B.
Amazing interior and vibe.
Great drinks and food!
M. W.
I had a fantastic evening here on Saturday Night. The food was outstanding. I had the pizza and it was delicious. The place is in a very trendy part of Dublin and Roberta's itself is very cool. The atmosphere was fab and the decor really trendy and cool. The staff were so attentive and welcoming. I would highly recommend and will definitley go back.
S. W.
Food was great, got two pizza's too share between two people and was more than enough! The staff and the clientele seems very "upper class" and we felt like we where being looked down on. Service was very slow - waited 15 minutes to have our order taken. The food came out 5 minutes later but the drinks took another 15 minutes to be delivered to our table, I had to ask for them a second time.
Food was great though! Manager was quite nice too.
B. G.
Fantastic place for brunch. Didn't make a reservation but luckily we got a table. Place was reasonably busy for a Sunday afternoon so in the future I will book a table just to be safe. The menu offers a great variety of dishes. I had a sausage egg cheese muffin which was delicious and very filling. Good atmosphere and trendy decor with a nice bar. Waiter was very attentive and friendly, kept filling our glasses with water. Great spot, highly recommend.
A. F.
Really love this venue. Fabulous layout, central and good food. Good wine list and the cocktails are good (not the best I've had...but good) . Only quibble is that its slightly on the pricier side and the bar area could use some more table space but you are paying for the location. All in all a great place to hang out in the evenings and a good brunch spot.
P. W.
Great service, great selection of food. I ordered a medium steak, and it was cooked to perfection. Our Waiter was very personable and kind, and when our food took a little longer than expected, he made sure that we got a free drink each, and some parmesan fries! Would definitely return.
L. B.
Amazing decor, very trendy spot however food was only so-so and service not great at all. More style over substance.
P. N.
Excellent food, attentive & professional staff and great atmosphere.
J. M.
Nice balanced menu in the restaurant with tasty dishes. Portions are generous so keep that in mind. Good service, we were quoted a 2 hour time slot but despite it being busy (Saturday night) we were not rushed at all taking our time using over 2 hours, even with us (2 people) taking up a booth (which was nice). The bar area is a pleasant open area which is well lit with natural light from glass ceiling. It has a good cocktail menu and some really excellent choices. They have a special espresso martini menu which they get creative with if you fancy a change from the classic. Its not cheap but at the same time I didn't feel ripped off as the quality of food and drink with service was good.
D. B.
Great venue..we really enjoyed a chilled brunch for 4. Food was very tasty. I ordered the burger and fries and they hit the spot. All delighted with their food. Staff were lovely but the only downside was they has to be reminded on things a few times.
We'll be back again for sure
G. A.
One of the most beautiful and chic bars in Dublin. Great music, great cocktails, amazing pizza!
L. P.
We were there for dinner, and the staff were lovely and friendly. They smile and very approachable. The food was great. I particularly enjoyed their skinny fries and braised beef. The pizza was not the best, but still really good. Quality food, relaxed and chill ambiance.
S. F.
This is a fancy spot! They have lots of natural light coming through their outdoor area, with a fancy cocktail bar there to boot. The tuna steak salad was delicious, maybe a little small of a portion, but always the way in Dublin and that area. Service was very fast and the Birra Moretti delicious, they didn't mind is getting a bit rowdy on a Saturday afternoon 😁
G. M. C.
Had an enjoyable brunch here... Ordered their signature burger and chips and my partner ordered the steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was amazing! Really taster & tender. The burger was average (quite expensive) but tasted average. We both ordered the Campri brunch cocktail (11euro per glass), this was the biggest con to the experience. It was awful, borderline undrinkable. Would NOT recommend it... Otherwise the steak was fab and the staff were extremely pleasant. Thanks to the staff.
A. O.
My wife and I went for dinner on Friday evening after work. Great atmosphere for dinner or after work drinks. We made a reservation on through their website which was very handy. I had pizza of the day (tandoori chicken, pepperoni and red onion) which was delicious. The truffle and parmesan fries were incredible! Would definitely recommend.
E.
The place is gorgeous - there's no denying that. The decor is lovely and the staff is, too. The food is good - but I only had a pizza so was pleased easily enough. It was €160 for 3 of us but wine and cocktails were had. I would return - our waiter really made the difference.
Y. A.
Could be nice to catch up with friends, but quite small for a corporate event. Also it was very hot inside, and they couldn't open the roof probably because of the music.. cocktail menu is fairly limited. Service seemed to be good.
E. C.
I love how open the layout is here! I’ve only been for brunch twice, but it was great both times. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but the potions are big and the food tastes great. I’d recommend the ricotta toast if you like sweet things! The food is really good, and the atmosphere is great. The big windows mean it’s lovely and bright, and I love how the place is decorated. The only drawback was the service was a bit slow, but I’d go back again for dinner or drinks.
D. R.
A beautiful and outstanding spot! Amazingly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. The food was amazing and it was just a joy to dine there.
100% disability friendly which just made the entire experience even better for me and my group.
C. Ó. B.
Had a lovely second date here last night. Amazing cocktails, delicious food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely a great date spot! I have already booked a table for next weekend with the girls🥂
D. M.
Nice place to dine. Portions are tiny though.
P. D.
Yum yum and classy. What a great experience. The food was delicious and service was fantastic
R. M.
Fabulous brunch at Roberta’s. My first time to Roberta’s and I wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor. My brunch was amazing, baked eggs with Nduja. The eggs were baked perfectly. It was such a tasty dish. The cocktails were also to die for. I would definitely recommend Roberta’s and look forward to returning soon.
L. M.
Went to Robertas for brunch on a Sunday, atmosphere was lovely and food was delicious. Although we had to wait a little too long to place our orders as a big table came in after us, the staff were very welcoming and nice. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were yum!
M. G.
Why has is taken me this long to get around to having dinner here? Delicious dinner, divine decor, top service. Highly recommend the hake and all that came with it. Had a bite of the mushroom risotto and gluten free pizza from my friends' plates, all gorgeous. I'll be back for sure.
B. B.
Excellent! Amazing food and service!
S. J.
Great service. Nice view on the Liffey. Great choice of vegetarian sides and starter. Very Good quality food. Wine by the glass not cheap. Atmosphere was good.
S. M.
My Sister & I went to Robertas for Sunday brunch. We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival (we had made a booking in advance). The staff throughout our meal were attentive, friendly & helpful. The restaurant itself is very chic, the interiors are gorgeous. I look forward to going back for dinner & drinks ! Prices were pretty average to Dublin brunch prices - €36 before tip for 2 people brunch and coffee (this is quite normal for Dublin). Food was so tasty and kept me full all day long. I had the full Breakfast and enjoyed every bite. Would highly recommend Robertas.
m. o. c.
Decor was amazing , staff were so friendly and helpful !! I got the Parma ham pizza and it was yum . Would recommend going !!
H. O.
Food could be better guys... Just look at the amazing place you have! Ordered pasta with shrimps, the ones from instant soups are bigger, very disappointing. So if you want to go to a super cool place go there, cocktails are great but go for food somewhere else.
L. V.
Nice place, liked the decoration. We were offered a set manu which did not contain a vegetarian option, I had the chicken and it was a bit dry for my taste. The salmon starter was good!
P. N.
Had a lovely meal. Food was really good. Had two courses and a bottle wine. However the food was brought out very quick and we were asked to leave the table after an hour and twenty minutes. We hadn't been told that the dining time would be this short. Usually 2 hours is standard. It is Christmas though so probably to be expected. Will definitely be back.
j. w.
Mixed opinions...plenty of room, lovely décor, extensive wine list, nice staff - great place for groups or conspiratorial chat; but the menu was very limited, couldn't whip up a salad. A little expensive too. I'd go again, after I'd eaten!
c. I.
Food is ordinary. Staff service not very good.
S. E.
Great venue hidden in the heart of the city. Very spacious and excellent seating allowing for multiple groups and in comfort. Has a great in-door smoking area, that holds a great number of people. The gents could do with expansion.
J. M.
Excellent all around - the terrace bar had a fun vibe and solid drinks selection; the dining room service was professional but not stuffy; and the meal (duck/fois gras starter and roasted aubergine couscous) were both delicious. Due to talking too much, I didn't finish and the waitress asked me if I something wasn't good - the sign of a well-trained, professional waitstaff. Actually, the main was so good that I was disappointed not to have eaten it all, but the company and atmosphere took over. Would definitely return.
C. P.
Actually we wanted to go to Tomahawk, but since they were fully booked they recommended us to Roberta's. We didn't regret this for one minute. We both had the fillet steak and it was just perfect. The meat was perfectly medium, the potato gratin was delicious and the peppercorn sauce was just amazing. We would definetely go again.
E. B.
A great superstar experience...lovely friendly attentive staff and super tasty cocktails
S. K.
Great atmosphere, indoor secluded smoking area, great cocktails. Friendly staff with good service. We just had drinks, and can be a little on the expensive side, worth having a few drinks with friends on a night out. Lovely place, clean and open plan.
B. L.
The food was nothing short of incredible, especially for the price. Very much worth every cent! The staff were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful with everything. Definitely recommend for an elegant but casual meal.
M. T.
Very nice, cosy place with delicious food!
R. W.
Loved Loved Loved this place. The decor and atmosphere was amazing. The service was second to none and the food was so tasty. I had the pizza and I was really impressed. I will definitely return.
B. H.
Light and airy with great drink selection. Restaurant also recommendable

Very impressive restaurant and bar. Huge space, separate rooms and areas. Each area is totally different. Great for couples or groups. Great food, range and service. Great quality from top to bottom. I'll definitely be back.
J. S.
Was at Roberta’s on Saturday night for dinner. Great food (had shrimp penne), & really friendly staff. Loved the decor. It’s quite big but feels very cozy. Will look forward to going back again.
C. K.
Amazing bar with the vibes of big metropolis. Food very tasty and atmosphere great. Had brunch and dinner there few times. They serve nice wine and the service is very professional
S. L.
Have already had dinner and drinks here in less than a week. Absolutely stunning venue with views over the Liffey and beautiful glass roofed courtyard bar. Stylish well heated large smoking area. Food was yum. Very disappointed when went in for drink as was made wait 20 mins. Too many cocktails and all staff making them. Better idea to have a cocktail counter with dedicated staff. Apart from that all good.
J. G.
Lovely building. Only had drinks so couldn't comment on the food but the style of the bar is great. Outside terrace and large glass orangery gives it a very open feel. Can't complain about anything.
J.
Visited Roberta's during an event and therefore cannot review the dining experience. Nevertheless, what a venue. Loved the environment and decoration. The catering was incredible and staff very nice. I'm looking forward to making a reservation and having a proper meal there.
n. c.
Service was extremely slow and very hard to get the staff's attention. The food was very nice though
H. L.
Perfect brunch, good place
J. N.
Fab. Utter fab. It was my company's Christmas party so a lot might be due to my company but the place was great. The finger food they served was coming constantly and the decor was amazing. Pure New York. Very athmospheric place.
N. O. C.
The place is lovely and a surprise. The food is excellent. I have twice but would not go again as the menu is very limited. More choice in the wine, drink and cocktails than food.
K. M.
Great spot with plenty of room, cool decor and good choice in drinks. We were there after a family function and the staff were very helpful and accommodating and were in no rush to move us on after last orders.
A. O.
Went here on Saturday for a 40th after hearing good reviews. Everyone agreed that the food was the greatest part about this place, closely followed by great table service. Ingredients were very fresh and menu combinations were as good as any high end restraunt. Only thing was it was loud, background music beats and lots of crowd echo from bar and restraunt meant there was little conversation to my friends around the table unless I moved. Probably suit smaller tables but not the big groups. Overall a good, on trend place to spend few bucks at the end of the week.
D. G.
Had a lovely meal here with my work team. Lovely food, good service and a great atmosphere. Overall had a really good night, definitely will go back again.
H. L.
Gorgeous building with tasteful decor. Order the Basil Fragolemonade which was delicious and soothed my hangover. Then ordered the burger. I was so disappointed with this. The flavour of the burger or the cheese was too strong and the patty to dense and undercooked. The fries were your standard frozen fries and that was it, no salad, nothing. Really not worth €15.50. Service is only okay too
G. G. R.
Great place for brunch, dinner or a night out.
M. C.
The food is average, the portions aren’t as big as one would expect when compared to other brunch places where you pay less and not only get more but food tastes far better as well.
A big plus here is that the restaurant is on the rooftop so you can grab a drink and enjoy the sun on the terrace. Drinks are also overpriced, especially when your bloody Mary makes you breathe fire after taking a sip.
It may be a trendy place to go but there are far better places in Dublin.
When it comes to service, it should definitely be better and the waiters should be less forgeting.
E. D.
I love this place, although always really busy it still feels like a bit of a hidden gem. The atmosphere always buzzing, have eaten here in evenings and Pride brunch and food always great and staff lovely.
K. T.
New place in Dublin with great decoration, great staff and wide range of cocktails. I was surprised when I arrived, however The food is normal and it does not surprise you. I always try to make balance between quality and price and this is between 3 and 4 stars. I will come back and edit if I change my mind. Cheers!
F. T.
Really good place to enjoy a night out with your friends, just unique especially in the summer time!
G. O.
First restaurant to visit since lockdown and it was a great experience. Staff were attentive, food and drink were delicious. Can't wait to go back!
P. k.
Amazing venue. Just located near temple bar. Pricing is not too high as compared to other bars in Dublin. They really have a good collection of cocktails.
m. r.
Went here for my wife's birthday with our 2 teenage children. We had a lovely meal in fantastic surroundings attended by excellent and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning.
R. A.
Understaffed .. no bar snacks... no cordial.. cool space and good vibe but a bit pretentious. Ordered a Bloody Mary and asked for pepper after paying for my drink and had to wait while the barman went to serve others before getting pepper! Who makes a Bloody Mary without PEPPER????
A. C.
The food and drinks here are brilliant. The space is amazing, with a spectacular bar and greenhouse-style smoking area. The booth-like seats in the front part of the space gives you loads of choice.
E. P.
Great upbeat place with awesome food and friendly staff
L. F. S. d. S.
Great food excellent staff
A. A.
Really great food. I had the Rigatoni Beef and it was delicious. Excellent cocktails, too and set in a really spacious warehouse loft. Can't fault it.
E. M.
Staff very friendly... Food was good but not excellent... Have had better food here in the past, maybe just one bad day.. Overall a good spot with decent cocktails
L. C.
I have been here 3 times for dinner. Every single time the food is good, but my god do they rush you out the door as soon as possible. First you get a call to confirm your booking - they notify you that they need a table back in 2 hours, then you arrive to the restaurant they mention it again, then about 3 or 4 times during the dinner and then say 15 mins before you're due to vacate the table that they really need the table back so you're chugging your drink, grabbing your coat, paying as quick as you can. Then you look around and the half of the tables around you are empty. We voiced this concern, got some concession but needless to say I will never ever go back.
Oh and on the booking I mentioned it would be for a birthday so asked for a small desert / cake. Never materialised.
A. O. N.
This is an amazing place. Really nice and well thought interiors, but also incredibly good service and food quality. I enjoy the atmosphere and environment and would highly recommend to anyone.
S. P.
Decent variety but not enough staff
L. C.
Poached eggs were actually overcooked. Benedict for brunch overpriced... 16€!!! Eggs are cheap, bread is cheap, potatoes are cheap... Then you pay 16€! If you think that you can get all those ingredients very cheap, and the taste was nothing special... Though the place itself is enjoyable.
C. K.
Upon arrival the staff were so nice but where we sat was really chilly so I left my coat on. The Elderflower Fizz cocktail was lame and tasted like weak lemon cordial so I ordered something else. I have to admit when I read the menu I felt instantly disappointed and literally nothing jumped out at me. I was delighted when our fab waitress came and told us there was sea bass on special. The 4 of us tried eachothers dishes and everyone agreed the stracciatella starter was like lemon & fennel baby food consistency and not edible. The oxtail dumpling starters were just ok but weren't finished by any of us. The crab salad was really nice. Mains were just ok not amazing. Sea bass was small enough and I don't think the bed of peppers etc it came with did anything to bring the dish together. It was all just a bit bland.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful the whole time we were there and they took a starter off the bill which I did not expect because it was just not to my taste there wasn't actually anything wrong with the dish. I really hope the food gets to where it needs to be at a fab venue like this.
All in all we had a good time but I feel this venue will be more popular because of its layout and atmosphere rather than the food itself. Will I be back??? Maybe not for dinner as the menu doesn't appeal to me personally but il definitely try the brunch menu soon. Thanks to the staff for looking after us so well.
J. S.
Beautiful bar in the city centre. Spacious and with pleanty of light in the day. Great decor, modern and tasteful, makes a good alternative for the usual pubs you find in the temple bar area. Great cocktails and finger food. Also interesting spot for corporate eventos and parties.
j. w.
Had a booking for 6pm at Roberta's yesterday and had the lovliest server called Raffa. He made the experience so lovely and he is a great example of how to serve smartly without rushing people from the table. He is really excellent at his job and gave us a lot of notice for when we had to move to the bar and wasn't pushy at all. Food was great and it came out within appropriate time and was really tasty, the Wine was fab and cocktails were amazing. You've got my 5 stars. I have never been to Roberta's but I will be recommending it for sure. Felt like I was away in another city, great energy and was very happy with the over all experience. Many thanks - Judy
D. P.
I had a special dinner with my girlfriend here. We've heard that Roberta's has the same owner as Sophie's (that we also love), so we had to check this one out.
Roberta's has a great ambient. A bit central bar in the center and lots of tables around it. If you'd like to go just for the bar, that's a great choice either. Just check the photos, it has a nice glass roof above it, during the day, you have a nice natural light. The music was great and at the right volume.
The waitress was very friendly and helped us choosing the right wine and explained some plates for us. I ordered the Pork Secreto (or something like that) and my girlfriend the Lamb (one of the best plates), they were both great. This is not a cheapeast place, but you pay for what you get. Great staff, nice structure and ambient, amazing food. This is totally recommended! :)
Ps: I booked the table using Open Table's website. They called me to confirm the reservation one day before. So, good to know you can use Open Table to book here.
K. H.
Fantastic food (I had the beef carpaccio for starter which I'd highly recommend). The restaurant has a very modern style, with most of the seating in booths to make it cosy. Can be quite busy so make sure to book ahead.
B. C.
great food, great staff and great buzz! the place to be for small or large groups. you won't be disappointed but need to book fir weekends
K. S.
I've been a few times for lunch. Food is always same good quality, super nice service and it's bright and spacious inside.
J. S.
Had a great steak here. The ambiance of this restaurant has a very old school classy feel. And the bar itself is very nice.
S. B.
Really loved my visit here. Excellent location, beautiful decor (the Bar area is particularly good!) and the food is tops. You have to try this place!
J. C.
Great food, stylish restaurant with friendly efficient staff. Cocktails need a little more work but a definite 4/5 star rating. We will definitely go back.
B. F.
Great 👍
N. M.
Great cocktails & atmosphere. Especially like the decent smoking area
S. F.
This may well be the hippest place in town right now. The atmosphere is excellent, the decor is excellent and the staff are especially excellent. The food is really good too. It's also a great place to go for a beer.
G. G.
Fabulous decor, great cocktails, some of the food was amazing, some just ok. Bar staff very friendly but the wait stiff that dealt with us were abrupt to the point of being rude.
N. H.
Fantastic roof top bar with good cocktails. The space is incredible, with a large glass canopy. The vibe is dressed up but not overly formal.
M. Z. Z.
Great space and nice atmosphere. For my choice the best pizza in town. Service could be a bit more professional for venue like this one, but it seems they are improving.
L. S.
Visited this restaurant twice this weekend as we received great service and good quality food. The setting is great also. Highly recommend 👍🏼
J. F.
It s a nice place for dinner, very similar to Sophie's bar in terms of design. We came around 9:20 pm and we were really pushed continuously to give our order. It was not that very nice.
L. H.
I love this place, have been a few times and it never disappoints. Service is really good and the food is always good. And the cocktails! Love it
M. D.
Nice Pizza but way too huge for 2 persons!
M. W.
Decent food in a good atmosphere
C. F.
Class bar and restaurant, excellent service.
A. U.
Great atmosphere, various types of cocktails.
M. D.
Great food & lovely staff!
K. O.
Nice venue with an interesting menu
j. d.
Had a meal in Roberta's yesterday food was excellent and staff very friendly. would highly recommend
R. B.
In Robertos on Saturday night for an early bird I am Caeliac and the gluten free pizza was the best I have ever had which is a big treat for me ! Great atmosphere and attentive staff I will be back for sure
M. S.
One of the latest "places to be". If you don't mind a very open planned restaurant and people from the bar area eyeing you when you eat, this is worth a visit. Professional staff, menu looked ok and overall a good atmosphere.
K. H.
Welcoming staff, great spot for brunch and early dinner with babies/kids. Enough space to park your buggy, highchairs available. Lovely decor and good food. Will come back
M. B.
Very good spot. We had drinks, starters and mains...sadly I've only pictures of my starters. But this place is great ,service is great, has a great smoking area and the food was really good actually.
L. B.
Lovely place for a dinner or party night out. It took a while to get a table but it was because it was full as it's a nice spot in Dublin.
T. G.
Very nice place. Food delicious. Bright airy and spacious bar as well with good selection of drinks. Staff friendly and helpful.
V. K.
Lovely brunch menu, with something for everyone . I will return.
M. M.
Great space with attentive staff. Menu is a weird mix with large portions. Very good brunch.
F. C.
The best Irish Coffee in Dublin,
@RobertasDublin
according to several dubliners !
M. B.
It’s not a 4 for me as a restaurant but when you take into account the view over the city, decor, entertainment and cocktails it keeps me coming back!
The food is good, simple and affordable, I wouldn’t say it is fine dining but it’s all about what you are looking for, Roberta’s is fun!
C. P.
Went there for a brunch. The place is really nice but too expensive IMHO. An Irish breakfast (2 eggs, sausage, pudding and beans) for around 15€ is simply too much.
M. R.
Great place to go to with friends as well as business partners. The place has a great atmosphere, service and food are simply great. Would however recommend to book in advance
A. S.
The best pizza I’ve ever had, even better than in Naples. We had the Roberta special with mozzarella, pancetta, roasted parma ham, chiles and pecorino and it was amazing! Try it with the chile oil, you won’t regret it.
R. F.
Was here new years Eve for dinner. But the service was very very slow for both food and drinks and the place was not that busy. The food itself was OK but I guess the slow service led me to give three stars instead of four.
L. M.
Great venue, enjoyed the made to order steak sandwich.
M. H.
Stunning venue but like most of the restaurants owned by this group, it falls down on the food. Have eaten here twice now and found the food very bland. The food does not live up to the fabulous venue.
L. C.
Lovely location, staff are fantastic but the prices a little steep unfortunately. Kept very clean and a great ombieonce
R. M.
Not my first visit to Roberta’s and I won’t be the last, the food is delicious and the waiters are naturally friendly and attentive. My fav is definitely the risotto & the Mac and cheese
P. N.
Cool place, good staff, bohemian vibe. 4 stars because the steak was a bit fatty/chewy and the thick cut chips a bit heavy.
B. W.
Great place for beer. Very swanky. Great place to take someone to impress them. Cocktail menu seemed a bit limited so got beer.
S. G.
Food and atmosphere were beautiful!!
S. K.
Roberta’s is a lovely place to go and have a bite to eat with friends or family . I had a lovely lunch and some cocktails ( which were very yummy ) !! The place is super trendy and would definitely be returning 🙂
B. K.
Amazing staff, especially our waitress. Venue really cool and lively. Food very average. Menu really needs a rethink.
a. l.
Really good waiter Fergal, food was great except for the pizza which was average. Great cocktails. Nice atmosphere.
P. M.
Modern bright restaurant bar a floor above ground level. Great food menu. Pizzas available at the bar. Good atmosphere.
M. M.
Paying for the atmosphere rather than the food.. food 2 star if not a 1 but the bar/restaurant is definitely a 5 star, great city centre spot
A. K.
Great location, brilliant interiors. Good spot for drinks with friends. Very modern looking bar. Food can improve.
L. B.
Great food, nice ambience although it was quite loud on an Friday evening with all the after work crowd. Can't wait to try brunch.
K. S.
Spacious modern with irreprochable design. Great place for a drink as well as food. Absolute must on Dublin classy bars
m. S.
Great spot with great character. Cocktails are slightly expensive at an average of €11 each .. it is Dublin i guess. but worth a visit for a night on the town.
Z. N.
Very impressive, amazing wood oven pizzas, awesome pastas, the environment, vibe and decoration is quite speechless. Fortunately I didn't pay, so it was much better though... :D
g. c.
Beautiful room, amazing decor and great views
Good food, service ok, desserts overpriced
Still worth going back
A. Q.
Location and decor is great, food is okay, price is overpriced and service got our drinks orders wrong twice. The rhubarb crumble was cold and sad.

E. H.
The food was fantastic (we were there for brunch). The decor is stunning, and we had a window seat looking out over the Liffey.
S. F.
Beautiful decor but food was only OK and not good value. Didn't have a great experience as a bigger group.
D. W.
Beautiful place, the building and decor are excellent. Bit expensive and slightly disappointed on the food and cocktails. Would try again though. Staff absolutely excellent, attentive and friendly.
R. M. I.
Excellent service and food. The place is well decorated and the lunch menu is well priced for the area and quality of food.
D. D.
I was here for an event. Nice setting. The food was just ok, we had supper bowls.
B. S.
Great food, awesome and beautiful interior! A little pricy. The service was terrible, a long wait for the food and drinks
S. O. K.
very expensive for basic pizza. nothing special about the place they seem to have a bar and a restaurant on the one floor but no process for the people at the bar to eat
...
D. H.
Lovely food and staff also lovely
K. K.
Excellent service ! Great advice that we did not listen and we ordered too much food. Each part of the menu is gigantic.
