We absolutely loved the place!
We got a lovely table in the corner that was nicely secluded from other people.
The set menu is an excellent idea and we enjoy every dish. We were very impressed with the presentation and the quality of the food.
The only small minus was that the main dish wasn't as impressive as other dishes (the cod was quite salty) but other than that it was great 😊

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door.
Staff where really nice and helpful.
The food was tasty and you get a great view of the restaurants kitchen from the toilets which are situated upstairs and are communal.
Overall a lovely experience and reasonably priced for Dublin city.

Absolutely amazing menu - had the delicious vegan tacos, had a yummy pomegranate spicy sauce, so sooo good. Vegan friendly - delightful service. Will go again Great for brunch

I ordered the crab cakes for brunch and it was definitely one of my favourites. I really liked the slight smokiness of the grilled asparagus. The sauces had the perfect level of acidity. The potatoes had a lovely crispy texture and the poached eggs were wonderfully creamy. The crab cakes were flavourful and had what I would call "umami overdrive". Overall, the dish was balanced and it was an enjoyable meal. The service was quick and other customers appeared to enjoy their food as well. I'm definitely going back to San Lorenzo's for brunch.

Lovely staff but dietary requirements weren’t met properly as I was in a lot of pain after! Disappointed as would expect better with expensive prices.
M. G.
I ordered the avocado toast and a lemonade and my friend ordererd the egg benedict and some tea. We also took extra potato rosti. First we had a very welcoming waitress which is always nice. Then the food was really high quality and good so I will come back for sure. I put 4 and not 5 because of the rosti really to much fried. we gave the feedback in real life already but just to mention it again. I will come back for sure I really loved the experience and the place!

One of the best brunches in Dublin with consistently high quality. Food never disappoints and the portions are probably the best sized for brunch in Dublin. My favourites are the avocado toast, the breakfast tacos and the the huevos rancheros.
The cocoa pops French toast seems to be one of those things that those with a sweet tooth crave but can rarely finish as it is incredibly sweet and heavy. Still they go back for it, so you'll have to decide for yourself.
I wouldn't risk going without a booking as it is always full. Booking is super easily done online so I'd recommend doing that at least a few days / a week in advance.
Whenever I have guests visiting this is one of my first picks (if not the first) to show them the intense Dublin brunch scene. All of them love it.
Service level has not been as consistent in the many times I was there (several of my friends in particular had instances of waiters coming several times during the same meal to let them know how much time they had left before they needed to give away the table, which is odd; the worst that has ever happened to me was simply slower days so I can't complain much).
D. T.
The place is very noisy (Friday night) so I didn't think it was that great for a date. But the food is really good and so is the service. Very friendly staff. Do try the cheesecake, one of the best I've ever had ♥️
J. A. W.
We really like this place. The day we went (Tuesday 21hs) the place was quite empty, but the environment was really nice. The attention and the food are excellent.
The dessert was incredible big, maybe too much...
M. M.
Great food and perfect for brunch. Booking is required. A little too loud so not the best for catch ups but the food was too good to care.
A. R.
I wasn't sure if we were in a proper restaurant or in a disco bar that serves music. The music was so loud that we couldn't barely talk to each other. It was a pity because the food was nice and with a good presentation, although the variety of the spinach wasn't the one that I was expecting, this type was thicker and harder.
L. H. G. (.
Friendly staff, delicious food, and great atmosphere. It’s impossible to fault this place. Plus you can see into the kitchen from the bathroom sinks, which is always a good thing!
P. M.
Tasty brunch, bit rushed as we had a late booking, could have sat and had a few more drinks and enjoyed the tunes
S. O.
Food was incredible. Great atmosphere. Amazing staff
W. K.
We couldn’t book brunch on Sunday for later than 10:30 (why?). Avocado on toast with poached eggs was OK, nothing special. The bread both for avocado on toast and benedicts on “bagel” was pretty cheap, if you know what I mean. Maybe we’ve chosen wrong dishes;) there are no pancakes nor fruit/granola bowls either, so keep that in mind. The interior was really cosy. What I didn’t like either was that the waitress clearly wanted us to leave after we’ve finished our coffees. She brought us a bill by herself and then came to take the payment without us asking for it. We felt like we are not welcomed anymore and left - I wouldn’t call it amazing customer experience.
K. G.
One of the best brunches I've had in Dublin! The smoked salmon Benedict was absolutely fab, I'll be returning to try the rest of the menu for sure! They do weekday brunch too, which is a gem to find in the city.
K. M.
Good quality food. Calamari salad was a little too vinegar ish for my taste and had no chorizo with it as per the menu. The pasta was delicious. All in all I would question if the resteraunt is worth the money for dinner, however I have yet to try their brunch.
R. G.
Veggie starter great! Mozzarella was really creamy. The main dish had a whole bag of rocket on top and a a kilo of parmesan, making it totally unbalanced and pretty unpleasant. Not worth the money.
S. I. A.
Food was great with generous portions. Very friendly service and great cocktails. Great Italian food with an American twist. Would definitely recommend!
J. J.
The food is amazing! Definitely try the coco pops and the huevos rancheros. Best brunch ever!
Try to make reservations or go really early.
R. M.
Looks great inside and the food is very good but the service is quite poor.
They do that pretentious "let me see if I can fit you in" thing when you don't have a reservation, leaving you standing there in an awkward silent wait for longer than necessary, feeling like you're asking for something for free. All the while, knowing there's a perfectly useable table there doing nothing.
It could be great with a little improvement.
L. B.
Went for brunch, the food was amazing and cocktails were (strong) delicious.
A. G.
Came there for a weekday brunch and honestly after I've been heard so many stories about this place I was a little bit disappointed.
I took the "breakfast of the champion",and for that price it wasn't definitely my champion.
Since I'm going pretty often for a breakfast or a brunch,I can say that there is so many places where you can get a better meal for less money than here.
K. N.
Food was absolutely outstanding. Service and staff were knowledgable, they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was fantastic.
G. M. B.
Best Italian (" new york style") in D2. Great food lovely staff and a fab place to grab pre theatre or after work dinner. Early bird menu is extremely reasonable but all the food is superb and well priced. Highly recommend
n. r.
The cocoa pops French toast was really delicious. Only thing I didn't like was the amount of creamy mascarpone, a bit too much for me.
H. W.
My favourite brunch spot in Dublin. I recommend the French toast stack or the avocado on toast - great portions and a cool atmosphere in the room.
T. G.
Great bellinis but no gluten free options really.
R.
Really nice food! I'll be back. Highly recommend! Nutella cheesecake is 👌
O. M.
We had a fantastic brunch here last week to celebrate my two sisters birthdays. Friendly and timely service completed by delicious food. Highly recommended and will be back again in the future.
N. H.
My favourite brunch spot in the city! Everything is fantastic
K. F.
Great service, great food, great drinks. I'd definitely return to this lively place.
S. S.
Very nice setting and you can tell they put the extra effort into the pasta.
Really enjoyed the food. Service was a little slow on the drinks but friendly and welcoming.
I would highly recommend the Irish/Italian coffee as the bar staff did a great job.
M. C.
This is a small restaurant in a long narrow location. The toilets are upstairs (overlooking the kitchen - which is good) but may be difficult for anybody with physical disabilities. But the food is excellent - well cooked and well presented. Service was a bit stretched - it wasn't that busy - but I enjoyed my meal as I had time to wait. The restaurant is not posh but has a good menu and is reasonably priced (for Dublin). I recommend a visit.
B. Ç.
Great food huge portions, staff is slow but worth for a good brunch
R. M.
One of my favorite brunch spots in Dublin. I'm new to the area and wasn't impressed with the traditional Irish breakfast after trying it at several places before, but the "Breakfast of Champions" changed my mind. In addition to the food, the cocktails are quite good and the service is top notch. I would highly recommend
I. J.
Four adults and a child there at 11:00 for brunch. Reception and service was friendly and welcoming. Meals were excellent. It was no problem to prepare an adult and child vegan meals which were varied and tasty. Everyone pleased with the morning which set us up for a good day.
I. G.
Best brunch place with gluten free options. Oh! And very nice cocktails !!
R. B.
Great brunch! I tried the full Irish breakfast and it was very tasty! Not an italian restaurant
F. O.
Lovely brunch here with my husband and 6 month old. The staff were very friendly, food delicious and came out very quickly. Nothing to complain about at all! Thank you
A. W.
I was so lucky to get a table without reservation at 11am. Highly recommend.
T. R.
Went here for brunch. Nice variety of options on the menu. When busy, service tends to be quite slow, with a long wait for any thirst clenching goodness as a result. Furthermore, service is adequate but not worth any special recognition here. Food is not very refined. I had crab cakes and these were fried slightly to long and the accompanying sauce wasn't that tasty. Atmosphere is nice. Be prepared to sit almost shoulder to shoulder with the people next to you though. Prices are fair.
M. M.
Food was delicious especially steak and staff very efficient .
N. M.
Great place for lunch just a bit off the crowded streets. They have good wine on tap. Food is excellent quality, fresh, delicious and artfully presented. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Washrooms clean and looks over the kitchen so you can see the kitchen is also very clean. Nice change from the pubs.
J. J.
I truly recommend! 😊
Me and my friend just passed by and thought would be nice with some food, what we didn't know was this was going to be such a lovely dinner! And I if u are there, eat the cheesecake for dessert , its amazing but make sure I have plenty of room 😁 The staff was so friendly!
B. N.
Best Brunch spot in Dublin, I’ve ever been to. Superb food, excellent waitering staff, coffee and cocktails are both as good as it gets. 2 poached eggs on bagel - Popeye style is their real gem. Great place !
C. M.
Have gone for brunch multiple times. Always a great time. Food is constantly great and the service is amazing. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Smartly dressed and well presented. The atmosphere is really welcoming and warm. Prices are great for what you are getting.
D. S.
Highly recommended!!! The Brunch and Dinner are amazing... Me and my husband have tried several things but our favorites are: the nachos for brunch ... The swordfish for dinner and... Wait for it ... The Nutella Cheesecake for dessert ... That is the best part for sure. The environment is very nice and I would recommend you to book a table.
C. R.
Excellent restaurant. Delicious food. High quality and good price. Place is very clean and modern. If you are in Dublin and want to eat very good food, go there! I do recommend. Dessert are they best. I've been for lunch time.
L. S.
Honestly one of the best Italian meals I've had in my life. We attended as part of a hen do (we were just a small group). Managed to book on the day fairly last minute. We went for the set menu. I had the vegetarian pasta and the Nutella cheesecake. The pasta was very flavourful, not too rich and tasted very fresh. The real star was the nutella cheesecake though! It was absolutely massive and was the most delicious cheesecake I've ever eaten in all my years. Cheesecake is my favourite dessert so I have eaten my fair share. It was light, creamy, the Nutella flavour was perfectly balanced with the biscuits base and it wasn't too sickly. All my companions really enjoyed their food from the chicken with mushrooms to the steak and the pavlova we have talked about it so much since. Was honestly one of the highlights of our weekend. Staff were very attentive and kind, taking photos for us and keeping drinks topped up. It was good value for the set meal. Would definitely visit again if in Dublin... For the cheesecake!
M.
Laid back atmosphere. Pretty quiet setting... but not TOO quiet. Enjoyed the size of the menu, and all of the food we ordered. As a recent transplant to Dublin from Chicago, IL... I appreciated the blend of American and Italian. I recommend a stop here.
E. C.
Brunch is really great here! The coco pops French toast is really good, but there’s a lot of it! I’ve never had bad food here, and will definitely be back again. Would definitely recommend booking ahead of time as it gets really busy on the weekends
M. A. d. S.
Good place for cocktails & dinner but not so good for brunch. Staff friendly but service slow. Food has good quality and decent portions. Music is a little bit loud. Decoration is very nice. It reminds me NYC restaurants. Overall, I recommend this place but to have a nicer experience ring and book a table in advance.
K. K.
Highly overpriced for what it is. Paid over 20 euro for a vegetarian pasta dish that allegedly had saffron in it but you couldn't even taste it. Starter crab mezzalune was fine, but again not a dish that blew me away or that I would want again in my life. Cold cuts were tasty. All in all more a trendy place than a good restaurant.
J. M.
I keep coming back here.. Dinner. Desserts. Brunch. Cocktails. What they do, they commit to doing flawlessly.. I've never had bad meal. The staff are unfailing nice even at their busiest times. Try the nutella cheesecake.. No other cheesecake will ever be the same 😁
M. M.
Visited here for brunch on a Sunday afternoon; really delicious food and accommodating staff. They really went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and their efforts were really appreciated. The avocado toast, full breakfast and pancakes were all amazing. Highly recommend!
R. F.
Service was basic and functional at best. We were left for long periods without anyone asking if we needed more drinks and no one checked if we were all enjoying our meals, which not all of us were. I got the distinct impression that the staff are a bit "too cool" to feel the need to deliver good customer service (with the exception of one very friendly guy who delivered our desserts) Food was ok at best. Of 6 diners, only 2 of us actually really enjoyed our meals. Cocktails I must say, were fantastic although my first two choices from the cocktail menu weren't available due to lack of ingredients. Was excited to try this place after reading great reviews but left feeling very underwhelmed and overcharged considering what we got for our money.
E. F.
Lovely food & coffee, nice menu, worst part is trying to choose! Will definitely return!
W. S. M.
Was recommended that place by many friends, and I absolutely recommend it to all you in return! Love the industry deco inside, great staff, very professional. And the food... Wow! Portions are huge, you defo get great value and quality for money. Good for small groups but it gets very busy, so book in advance when possible.
Brunch are a good option there, you get pancakes, eggs, full Irish, you name it! Go there, you won't regret it! 👍👍👍
N. C.
I don't think I'll ever be hungry again.
Not being able to decide between the delicious brunch options, my girlfriend and I ordered 3 between us. The portions are huge and the food is so good we kept eating long after we should've. We practically had to be forklifted out of there.
Well worth a visit but book in advance and don't expect to remain at your table much beyond finishing.
D. W.
Went for brunch. While overall it was good (brioche french toast! *****). The bacon in the breakfast is disgusting. Streaky fatty but most of all: not cooked properly - in a rush, industrial quantities & far from crispy 0*)
M. K.
Amazing brunch on every occasion! Food comes always in 15-20min max after placing the order, staff is very nice and well trained as well! My personal favourite place for brunch in town.
S. F.
Went there for brunch, it was amazing and the coco pops french toast was insane.
K. B.
Great service and firnedly staff. Buzzy but not loud atmosphere with a heap of delicious choices on the menu and a decent early bird offer. I had pork belly with duck fat potatoes followed by pannacotta while my partner got the zuchinni pasta and the baked Nutella cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious.
R. N.
Amazing spot in Dublin for literally the breakfast of champions!
I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here! The service was quick and they have an amazing twist on breakfast classics (without insulting the classics)
The only tiny complaint I have is that the space is a bit tight so you'll pretty much be elbow to elbow with others.
The prices are decent and not bad at all! I would definitely come back here!
S. F.
Brunch was unbelievable! Friendly staff and great food, definitely recommend, reduced tables due to social distancing restrictions so booking is the best bet to get one.
C. M.
Always book ahead! I've been disappointed here before by just showing up on a Sunday afternoon to find a fully booked restaurant. Had a booking for 12.30 on a Sunday and got there at 12.25. We weren't seated for about 15 minutes but the staff were great throughout, very friendly despite the place being crammed and hectic. The food was great, and for brunch in Dublin it was reasonably priced. €40 all in for two breakfasts, two coffees and a sneaky dessert.
B. C.
A friendly venue with great food. My group of seven arrived on spec, were found a table (despite a large group who had pre-booked being about to arrive) and were treated like old and valued customers. The steak was as good as it gets in the UK, with the overall quality of food more than meeting my expectations.
N. M.
Recommend booking in advance as it's a popular place for brunch in Dublin. Although it has all the usual hallmarks of a brunch menu, they specialise in Coco Pops French Toast. Although very sweet and heavy, it is worth trying at least once.
A. L.
If it comes to desert, you want to order New York Nutella baked cheesecake ✌️
E.
I ve never been disappointed here. They do it all well - brunch, lunch & dinner. They have some of the best cheesecake in Dublin and their potato cakes ( which may be gone now?) are delish! They offer a great value early bird and are always packed (especially at brunch) , which is great for them. The only gripe I have is that they have crammed too many tables in there which is great from a business standpoint but as a customer, it does keep me from going more often as the privacy is a bit intruded on :( Great food though!
S. M. H.
Cool, modern and tasty food. Brunch menu was different and quirky, would recommend booking ahead on the weekends if there is a few of you. Staff were good, very busy as it was a Saturday.
O. P. F.
Food was nice and service was good but the seating arrangement was bad. Seemed like an extra table was thrown in which lead to an uncomfortable experience for my girlfriend and I. Other people hitting off our table when they were getting up from our table for example. Not the intimate setting we imagined.
A. M.
Visited San Lorenzo's two weekends in a row now.
First dining with a friend for their brunch, choosing french toast stack. It was tasty, reflected New York-style portions (no complaints there), and great value for money.
Second visit, I brought my Mum who's known for her, eh, refined taste. Both opting for the crab cakes, both surprised by delicious combinations of flavors in this relatively simple dish.
Good service, very friendly staff, will definitely be back.
T. C.
I had to try the chocolate rice crispie French toast, oh man it was heavy. If that's your thing, do it, it's amazing but it was just too heavy for me. I found the menu was good, nice options but the staff just didn't do it. They are very strict about times, even when you want to order more and I found my waitress abrupt so that really affects the experience.
F. Y.
They have very delicious steak and beer. Ambiance is nice too
M. K.
Great brunch spot! Everything was delicious!
C. H.
Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. Good prices. Only gripe, and for me it's a big one, mixed sex toilets, not disabled friendly, and no baby changing facilities. Cost saving measures dressed up as progressivism in my view, and a big turn off for me. Women require single sex spaces for a multitude of reasons.
E. M.
Went here for a girl brunch and was perfect. Lost one star for portion size. Only one piece of foccaicia? Lovely food and staff and interior.
M. T.
Visited on Saturday and it's a cosy and busy spot. Wait times were fine as was the service if a little bit brusque. Portions are on the smaller size so budget for a starter if you are really hungry or a big eater. I had the pork belly which was tasty and my friends had steak which was less impressive. The cannelloni and frutti di mare also looked good.
K. R.
great friendly staff and decent good food - better than most restaurants f this type. It was a great place for meeting a group of friends and having a meal.
The food was good quality - the homemade ice cream (well, the salted caramel one) was amazing - definitely have all three scoops of salted caramel!
J. B.
Visited early Sunday evening. Good menu, food was excellent. Highly recommend the buffalo mozzarella salad. Opted for chicken. Very tasty. Although I didn't eat the pasta, it looked amazing. Would definitely recommend.
B. T. N.
Great food. Friendly service.
H. H.
This place is cute, the staff are super friendly also and the food was delicious. It’s no way near traditional Irish fare, but not everywhere in Dublin has to be right? My husband and I were nursing nasty hangovers and the food here, and hair of the dog) really helped us out. Worth a visit.
T. B.
I ordered ham and eggs. Was a bit disappointed. The ham looked like it came out of a pack of sliced ham you get at a supermarket. The eggs were really nice. Saying that the Coco Pops on toasted looked really nice. Just ordered the wrong thing. If i hadn't of seen the Coco Pops on toast I would of given a lower rating.
J. C.
French Toast and bacon stacked high to heaven! The brunch options here are pretty amazing and fulfilling. Lots of brunch cocktail options too! :)
Book on advance though as walkin wait time is extremely long and you may even get turned away. Brunch they put a limit to about an hour 30 per table.
W. E. T.
Truly the #brunchofchampions, we managed to snag reservations on a weekend and were happily treated to one of the best brunches we've had. We tried the ham hock potato cakes and the much raved about cocopops toast and our very high expectations were certainly met! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the meal, happily pointing out their personal recommendations and even helping us store our luggage. Ended the meal on a high as we visited the washroom before we left, only to be treated to a rare view of the kitchen while washing our hands!
A.
Went for brunch. Many choices, friendly and helpful staff and amazing food. 4 different plates, 4 very happy and satusfied customers.
Would surely come back.
T. E. B.
Coco Pops French toast 🙏 The avocado toast is also delish!
M. O.
Great Italian restaurant. The cannelloni was excellent, as were the potatoes.
S. M.
I brought my mother here this evening for a nice Italian meal. Absolutely faultless! Food was perfect, our waiter was friendly & efficient and it was very reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.
J.
Had great expectations for this place but left it quite disappointed. From the outside it promises to be a NYC style Italian but I could not find anything Italian about their menu. You sit tight in a pretty crowded venue (NYC style) but you pay premium for dishes that are good but nothing extraordinaire in my opinion. Not particularly excited to visit again.
C. M.
A little gem. I'm vegan, they brought someone out to go over the menu and see what could be customised, and it was actually delicious, which is kind of a rarity. It's a cozy room, the staff are lovely, all of my friends had great food too and it's pretty cheap for Dublin. Bravo guys :)
F. S.
Was a bit disappointed as I haven't been in a year. It used to be absolutely delicious but this time the crab cakes were more potato cakes and on the soggy side. Will return and have something else as I know I was super eager to return and my expectations may have gotten the best of me. Service and everything else on point as per usual.
J.
Really nice meal, ordered 2 course from set menu. Soup to start and chicken for mains. Both gorgeous. Waiters attentive but not overbearing. Would go again in near future.
T. T.
The coco pops french toast is AMAZING! Cocktails are good, coffee is good, service is good.
The Eggs Benedict is ok. Perfectly cooked eggs and very nice ham, but hollandaise a bit thick and personally, I don’t think bagels work as a base for eggs benny.
Another personal preference: a potato hash needs to be more cohesive. The dish my companion was served seemed like two separate elements tossed together at the last minute.
Looking forward to going back again to try more of the menu!
C. D.
Have been quite a few times for its amazing brunch. Been blown away each time by the food. Drinks are pretty expensive though and some of the seating is quite cramped. Would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
L. Z.
Went for brunch with 3 more people, we just walked in and got a table for an hour, which was great since they always are busy on weekends. I got the huevos rancheros with the parmesan polenta and oh my, what a great decision I made. Perfectly cooked polenta, nearly as tasty as my mom's! The tomato chilly salsa complemented perfectly with just the right amount of spicy! Everybody else in my table seemed to really enjoy their dishes too. Very fair prices, quick service, a favourite brunch place, for sure
D. L.
Four words – Coco Pops French toast
This brunch spot usually requires you to book ahead, which can be a tell-tale sign of how good the food is. Although the building itself is nothing to write home about, that’s not why you’re here! You’re here for the Coco Pops French toast with mascarpone and banana!
This dish is the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my decades of eating food on a daily basis. It’s everything you’ve ever wanted, the cream of the crop, the alpha and the omega – It’s practically perfect
...Okay I’ll stop now, you get the point. I’m sure the other options are good too but I couldn’t ever not pick the Coco Pops French toast… You owe it to your taste buds to try it out, add it to your bucket list.
S. H.
Fantastic food and service in a lively up beat place. Wonderful
M. S.
It's a bit overpriced for what it is, also it is so loud and busy on the weekends that I nearly lost my voice trying to chat to my friends. Popeye eggs were good, big portion, but the atmosphere is too hectic and we were tensed rather than relaxed on the weekend.
T. E.
Very nice place they one up most breakfast Places in Dublin on presentation of the food and exciting choices.
I chose the super nachos, the bolegnese is great and the guacamole is extremely well done with chunks of fresh avocado sticking out.
However they use cheese from a tube which cost the 5th star in my book.
I can still recommend this place but it is possible to find better

Brunch of Champions
Went here for brunch yesterday (24/07/16) as this was place was recommended through the person I was out with.
Arrived to the resteraunt and a queue was forming outside the door. This could mean one of two things.....
1. It was a small enough resteraunt, 2. The food here was good.
In this case I was right on both counts. This is small enough resteraunt styled witha classy orange mood light themed bar/resteraunt. We got seated after a 10 minute wait in the queue. Unfortunately there was no room to sit at the bar for a drink as we waited, the bar was just being used to make drinks for customers being served by the wait staff at there tabled.
The brunch menu had quite a few different dishes, including some sweet savory options. I opted for the breakfast of champions. The food arrived in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the meal as a whole, didn't feel like a typical Irish breakfast and enjoyed the meal overall.
The sausage meat was very tasty and tender, plus the beans where served in a real tomatoe sauce, which gave it a authentic taste. Even though the potato rosti tasted very oily and fried. We didn't stay for drinks as I was driving. But we watched the waitress bringing meals to different tables and each of them looked very tasty. I myself didn't feel rushed, but people where constantly coming and going from the resteraunt as it was peak time. Will likely try this resteraunt sometime again in the near future.

Fantastic food on Friday last. Best I've had in any restaurant in a while and great value early bird but A La Carte also good. Service and staff very good. Will be back and heartily recommend.
C. M.
Great food in a great atmosphere, the highlight is the famous Nutella cheesecake. Brunch is excellent with banging tunes. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent value lunch menu.
M. Q.
Great brunch spot. Busy at times but very accommodating staff! Food comes super quick, tastes great and the place itself is really cool. Bonus: The coffee is really good!
R. C.
Came here for dinner on my hen weekend and it was bloody brilliant! Best damn steak I've ever had. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere.
Definitely would recommend
R. G.
Have eaten the brunch here a couple of times. The food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly. It's also got the coolest vibe so chilled.
g.
Fantastic restaurant, the staff is 5* and definitely the best brunch in Dublin. Their cocopops French toast is literally the best part of my week :) I can't recommend this place enough.
L. B.
I haven't been carried away by the love surrounding San Lorenzo.
Don't take it wrong: San Lorenzo is a nice place to have brunch. But it's as good as a lot of brunch places or Italian restaurants in Dublin. Nothing to justify that's it's a real pain to get a booking, in my opinion.
I went once there for their "Brunch of the Champions".
I had the tacos, which were honestly greatl Tasty, crispy, fresh and huge, enough to fill your belly for the whole day. They included a tasty avocado salsa, chicken and chorizo, and crispy lettuce, with a drizzle of sauce over it. The tacos were so filled that it was almost impossible to eat them - but this is without doubt the proof of great tacos.
They are really on the top of the taco list in Dublin (nom nom).
My SO had the pan fried pulled ham hock potatoe cake. Again, that was HUGE!
It wasn't very sophisticated though. I won't complain, as the product were fresh, but it was pretty heavy: mostly potatoes and ham, and it lacked some vegetables and this nice twist that makes a dish different from what you'd have cooked at home.
The lemonade were pretty good, but not homemade - too bad.
I came back for a dinner, unhappy to be undecided and ready to choose my side - San LorenzLover, or San Lorennemies.
I took the early bird meal, and tried the meatballs.
They were not bad, but not good either. Meh. A little dry, the taste was good but common. Same for the pastas themselves, they were good but not specially tasty or melting in he mouth. Nothing special there, which is a shame for a restaurant that created such a craze.
I put all my hopes in the Nutella cheesecake...
It's indeed really B.I.G.
This Nabudchadnezzar of chocoate, this mooound of cream, and gargantuan pile of vanilla ice cream, with caramel dripping from it... ...was honestly too much for me.
I guess it's a matter of taste, but it was definitely too sweet, too decadent, too... Godzilla.
This very sweet desert will without doubt clog your arteries, require a half marathon (at least) to burn, and might even be used by the NASA to feed astronauts during weeks. The Coco Pops french toast looked even best/worse: you can't tell that I didn't warn you.
As a conclusion, it was pretty good but lacked a little sophistication for me. It was not that good a value for 27€ too.
If you're a sweet tooth, run there, but don't forget to book in advance.
D. M. A.
My first visit back in 2 years, and the best I can say is that its still as consistently excellent as I remember. The crab cakes were delicious, and the staff were, and are, exceptionally friendly.
S. E.
Tasty but expensive!
I had canneloni (very delicious and home made), but not that much and for 19 € way too expensive! 12-14 € would be ok for that kind of quantity and quality.
Also the beer was with 6 € for just a small 0,25 l bottle quite overpriced.
Anyhow, because the main point (taste) was very well, I will rate with 4 stars!
A. F.
The three stars are almost entirely a result of good service, competent staff, and decent environment/ambiance. The food was far from the stated claim of NY Italian. It is clear that there is a disconnect between the quality of the ingredients/concept of the dishes and a 4-star rating.
B. M.
Really excellent food. Relaxed environment. Friendly staff. Lovely wine. Great menu.
b. h. n. c.
Really great food. Surpassed expectations. Very friendly service. We had a great night here!
P. O.
While sometimes it can be a bit of a chore finding a place to eat with the vegetarian better half San Lorenzo's was a delight. I had a fantastic venison ragu that was close to the best meal I've had in several years.
The wine we had was from the WineLab casks and was both delicious and environmentally friendly, a win win.
A nice little addition, their unisex bathrooms look over the kitchen so you can see into the belly of the beast while washing up after dinner. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for some great Italian food in the heart of Dublin city.
O. O. R.
I've eaten at this restaurant numerous times, wonderful and attentive staff. Reasonable prices for good quality delicious food. Would highly recommend. The tiramisu is not to be missed!
A. O. C.
The food and service was outstanding.
B. M.
The food was lovely I had the jerk chicken Tacos and could not fault them in any way, our server was very friendly and prompt....but I found the toilet very odd....upon entering there was a woman doing what appeared to be paperwork at a desk in a unisex toilet area, it just made me feel very uncomfortable having a strange woman literally just outside the door of a cubicle. I gather it's for space saving but surely it could be done at the till or kitchen area
B. G.
Amazing brunch with good service. Small and popular so it's a good idea to book a table beforehand. Prices are comparable to other great places for brunch in Dublin.
A. G.
Good food, but over priced. Starter salad arrived within 2 mins (before wine arrived). Was obviously pre prepared and kept in the fridge. Main of Pork and also Canelloni was tasty. Much better value elsewhere in town.
A. D.
Amazing service, lovely staff. Food is delicious and big portions but a bit overpriced, make sure to book a table as it gets super busy
윤.
Their foods were great although it is somewhat pricey. Nice atmosphere, great foods, and good services. I particularly like their scallop dishes which was vert impressed. Highly recommend to try.
A. K.
American-size portions (very filling), tasty recipes, very reasonable prices. Been for brunch only. Will definitely come back to check the dinner menu.
M. D.
Wasn't sure they'd live up to the hype but they did, 100%. Being Americans in Dublin , we didn't think we'd have any luck in asking for iced tea. Our server made us a batch which was so considerate. Amazing food.
D. R.
Amazing breakfast!!! The "Full Irish" is one of the best I've ever had. Really, really, really busy. Definitely book ahead. Great buzz in the room.
C. H.
Nice brunch menu. I would and wouldn't recommend the Coco Pops French toast; delicious to start with, but far too sweet to eat the full meal.
H. C.
Have only had brunch but it was excellent. Wide selection and great drinks menu to go with it. Food was excellent and very tasty. Friendly staff.
O. v. d. Z.
Food only alright. Aunt's potato cakes were not seasoned at all. Tasted so bland. Food arrived 5 mins after ordering. Lots of people like this but I find it a bit off putting. Watermelon belini was 👌👌👌
j. l.
Main course food was fab!! So delicious!! 5 stars. Can't really say the same for their desserts or drinks menu.. it brought down the average of the score.
R. P.
Server started off being rude. Eventually half way through meal he warmed up. Food was reaaly good. The server was not too willing at first to help find options for the kids, but the kitchen came through.
R. Q.
The portions for our mains looked more like starters. The taste of the pasta dish just about made up for the price we paid. Friendly staff.
A. O.
Great restaurant - turned up on a Tuesday night at 10 to 10 and they seated us. The manager served us and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.
E. D. F.
Portions were so small we had to ask to have something acceptably substancial. No break served with soup, had to ask again. But after asking, our mains came incredibly great. If you are there on a good day. Great. If not: then sorry!
A. H.
Had an incredible meal here last night, flawless food, service and environment. Plus they have organic wines by the glass or bottle - can't wait to go back again.
G. P.
enjoyed early bird at San Lorenzos Friday 31/1/14. Food tasty and presentation lovely. Unfortunately the staff let the place down with an attitude that I can only describe as luke warm. What a pity, the male server was pleasant and helpful. Two female servers were unapologetic when the wrong starter was plonked in front of me, she went on to ignore one of my companions who politely asked for buttter. When my other companion asked to collect her coat, she was literally pointed in the general direction of the hanging coats. A little politeness goes a long way, perhaps re- training in basic manners for these females wouldn't go amiss.
D. K.
Cozy place. Decent food and good drinks!
D. W.
Always busy so booking in advance highly recommended. Very fast service and consistent quality over the years we've had brunch here.
G. S.
Recommended to me and it was great! Crab cakes with chargrilled asparagus, perfect poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and duck fat potatoes. Very, very good. Service was great and price reasonable.....
S. D.
Nice place, extremely tasty food and a true italian one! Definitely one of the best brunch I've ever had
G. W.
Outstanding brunch and great music
G. A.
Super tasty brunch place at reasonable prices. Lovely staff! Should book in advance!
j. w.
Nice restaurant. Pre theatre menu was a bit restrictive. Lots of other lovely restaurants in Dublin to try. Would not make a return visit.
D. V.
Food was ok, but the service is really not the best. We went in a group and spent over 200 euros with a tip of 22 euros that didn't stop the waitress from rudely suggesting to stop reviewing the bill because the table could be used for someone else.
S. W.
Exceptional Christmas menu absolutely delicious. Staff were excellent. Cant wait to go back.
P. F.
Great menu offering American-Italian classics combined with fresh takes on Irish cuisines. Lamb specials are well worth a try. Margaritas a must.
I. D.
Went for brunch, had avocado and mozzarella, friends had 'Breakfast of the Champions', all very tasty. Efficient and attentive service, great food, decent portions.
I.
Best eggs Benedict in town! The hollandaise sauce is perfect! I love this place, every time I visit Dublin I come here. Their Nutella cheesecake is to die for, all home made, even the Nutella :)
M. S.
Amazing brunch! Huge portions. Friendly staff. Good prices. Best brunch in Dublin! (Try french toast or lobster benedict ;))
M. K.
Gorgeous Italian food, excellent for dinner and brunch in a convenient location. Lovely some selection too. Recommend booking in advance
R. M.
Really nice tasty food!!!
A. K.
Have been several times for the brunch of champions. Yet to leave hungry or be disappointed. Crab cakes with poached eggs are a personal favourite. 🦀👌
D. F. R.
The place is amazing, I went there with my mates and we enjoyed so much ! Lovely food options for brunch!!! Highly recommended
K. P.
Really loved it... Photo speak by themselves
L. M.
Crab cakes were delicious! Staff were friendly and efficient. Only let down was the orange juice. Great atmosphere.
J. M.
Well worth a visit if you've the time. Great food, massive portions, make sure you don't pre-snack!
A. L.
San Lorenzo's offers an interesting well thought out menu, nice wine list and cool modern decor. The fantastic reputaion that it had acquired preceeding my first trip would have been difficult to live up to by most standards but it didnt disappoint.
K. P.
Nice tasty food and friendly service. Prices are from the upper scale, so expectations were high, but reality did not quite reach there. Satusfying experience nevertheless.
A. B.
Service prompt and relatively friendly. Good food. Busy and fun atmosphere. Main drawback is that the tables are too close together and it feels cramped.
R. O.
Came here for brunch. It was really good. They could expand their beer list, but have killer cocktails. Service could be better.
J.
Fabulous Sunday brunch. The selection was amazing and the food and service were both amazing. Will definitely be back!
K. H.
Great service. The breakfast of champions and French toast were great. Perfect place for a late breakfast on a weekday.
K. “. F.
Staff are friendly, we were waiting on our table (busy sunday brunch) and they were soo apologetic giving is a complementary glass of prosecco for the wait which was a lovely touch.
E. M.
Have gone for brunch here a couple of times. Food is basic & tasty and the portions are decent.
M. G.
Midweek brunch treat. Great service and value. Crab cakes are delicious. Worth a visit
H. L.
I am sick of these pretentious Italians giving their restaurants fancy names just in order to drum up a bit more business from the garlic bread waving, dough ball guzzling, pinot grigio brigade.
Just call yourself Saint Lawrence, leave the pizza on the table and sling your hook!
A. O. L.
Excellent brunch and very kind and friendly staff. They can store your bags if you are travelling for a short while.
C. W.
Amazing brunch food, the french toast and breakfast of champions was more then enough for 2. Will certainly be back again.
G. K.
Awesome food, good price for the food, the service is awesome, looking from a brunch in town, this is the place you must go !
d. g. o. s.
A very friendly spot, with attentive Staff. Industrial type decor. We had the early bird & it was lovely! Deffo will go there again. 👍

A bit tight for space but the food never disappoints. The tacos, coco pops french toast and nutella cheesecake are divine!
P. L.
Friendly and attentive staff with great wine recommendations. The food is delicious and consistent - try the Nutella cheesecake!
T. C.
Thank you to Kris for a lovely experience. The coco pops french toast was amazing! Great chilled atmosphere.
S. G.
Eaten here numerous times and its always been fantastic. Some of the best meals in I've eaten in Dublin. Highly recommend.
J. C.
Like the food have gone here a few times for brunch . The breakfast of champions is the best thing that was ever invented cured so many bad days after a night out.
D. M.
Delicious, had the breakfast of champions - the name is totally justified, and the nutella cheesecake is delicious, but I didn't need to eat for a day or two after 😂
C. B.
Delicious food, friendly staff. Will be returning

T. M.
Amazing food and great night would highly recommend for both dinner and brunch
D. J.
The scallops and Nutella cheese cake were both amazing, everybody was very happy with their meals, it's pretty pricey though
D. D.
Very nice NY style brunch place. Very good value for money, and always a good way to start the weekend
L. D.
San Lorenzo's offers a great brunch, even if at times slightly unhealthy. If you want to treat yourself with friends, this definitely is the place to come!
C. S.
I went there only for brunch. Food was good but the place is quite loud, which made it hard to enjoy at 2 :)
G. K.
Small choice on menu and no ceoliac options available. Good service and friendly staff. I was able to order a starter off menu which was good.
R. F.
The early bird menu in here is such good value and high quaility. The cocktails aren't half bad either.
B. O.
