Cant do nothing else but recommend this place to all of u folks coming to Dublin. Nice local cuisine, properly cooked, no fast stuff, friendly and knowleadgeable staff, good selection of wines... Top experience muchach@s!

It was really looking forward to this restaurant as it’s been on my list for a while now. It was a very comfortable restaurant with very friendly and welcoming staff. As for the food , I’m not one to rubbish things if I don’t like them. The style and taste of the food wasn’t at all to my tastes and I didn’t enjoy it. On that basis I wouldn’t return. The rest of the experience was very pleasant.

Food was so nice here. Great service and great food. Came all the way from Westmeath to eat here and definitely worth it. Beef was amazing. Pub was very nice to, really nice interior and can’t recommend this place enough.

Lovely venue, they've retained the old bar interior and it looks great. Food was excellent, I had the beef cheek and oxtail roll which was excellent, it comes with a beautiful gravy. Main course I had the venison which was also excellent. My partner had the shrimp mayonnaise and caviar starter and the BBQ salmon with mussels and a lobster bisque, which was fantastic. Staff were friendly and service was really good.

This is probably one of the best pub foods in the town. If you can still call it pub food. The place has an atmosphere of a cozy pub with an excellent service and their wonderful staff. The dishes are familiar but at the same time new and exciting with loads of flavor. They have a nice wine list too.

We had an amazing dinner at Spitalfields. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly and the food was superb. They fit us in last minute for dinner at the bar and made us feel like old friends. My husband rated this as one of his favorite experiences of our trip and definitely my favorite meal.

Lovely spot. The staff are wonderful and so is the food. We sat at the downstairs bar where you can see the full kitchen in operation. The oysters were incredible and the lamb was divine. Great selection of wine on top or bottle

My girlfriend and I went here for a celebration dinner with some family on 16th of November. What looks like a small traditional Irish pub from the outside is transformed into a cosy yet slick look inside. We were greeted by friendly staff who all gave off a vibe that they were happy to be working there which is a great sign. We also got a little bit of history about the place from one of the chefs including the story about the postman who still stops by for his pint of Guinness at the same price it was some years ago. The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. There was loads of other options including some veggie courses which the waiter briefed us on which weren't on the menu at the time so don't be afraid to ask as they were willing to adjust others. We got some nibbles to share with our drinks first including root vegetable crisps, smoked almonds, Flaggy shore Oysters and little prawns in a garlic butter. I had the burnt onion broth with sweetcorn and shiitake mushrooms for starter. Followed by the grilled plaice, samphire, grapes and potted brown shrimp butter. I also tasted the roast crown prince pumpkin with ricotta, cavolo nero and dukka(I know all this because I'm looking back at the menu again). 3 people at the table got the Barnsley lamb chop with grilled peppers, tapenade and salsa verde and were all really impressed with it. We all shared the pistachio, pear and chocolate millefeuille and the eton mess with blackcurrants and orange granita for dessert which were the perfect finale to our food. The portion sizes were perfect and couldn't have enjoyed the experience more. We will definitely be going back to try some of the other dishes as our heads were turned by a few things being ordered around us. For the quality of food you're getting this is really reasonably priced as well and I would highly recommend it.

By far the best food I've had in Dublin. The beef-cheecks-with-oxtail-in-the-bread-pockets-with-bone-marrow-sauce-to-dip-in is fabulous. Not to mention that the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. It's a great neighborhood place with am exceptional menu.

Had a small family birthday dinner here on Fri 28th Aug 2020. Not easy to get the balance right with the COVID restrictions but these guys aced it.....great atmosphere, super friendly staff.......we will be back for the Cote de Boeuf and the smoked potatoes....excellent!

The food, service and interior are second to none! Although pricey, it's well worth it for inventive but unpretentious food paired with an interesting wine list. The iberico pork schnitzel is particularly good and we'll definitely return.

We had a significant birthday at the owners other restaurant namely The Pigs Ear in Nassau Street. So we were really looking forward to an evening at their new restaurant in Spittlefields. Myself and my husband had a fabulous evening at this new restaurant just opened. Food was spectacular and not overpriced given the high quality of the food, the very friendly and attentive service and the cosy chilled and very intimate ambience. While retaining all the original features, the contemporary kitchen / cooking design is really cool complimenting the carefully restored features. Fresh oysters: a must and just bursting with flavour. Sole on the bone: superb! Vegetables: very inventive with extraordinary flavours; Ice cream: exotic with home made edible flowers - sinful!
