P.This fast food is quite big, it is nice to consume food upstairs. Bathtoor so tight and does look much renovated at this time. I love the 5 oz burger and the taco fries.
B. M.I really like this place. It's a two in one restaurant. You have a burger, chicken, desert spot & pizza (Papa Johns) in one. The prices are cheap & the food is very good. Kinda reminds me of being back in the United States which being in Europe with the "tasteless " food is a great change. The ice cream deserts look amazing too & I'll be back for them. Lastly, the atmosphere is good with music and is in the heart of Dublin, keep up the good work!

Staff were friendly, polite and helpful, the place was well kept and clean. There was outdoor dining for small groups just outside the doors. Bathrooms are opened for the customers. The visit was very pleasant over all.

R. S.Good food, I have ordered there veg burger meal cost me around €10(originally 8.45 ,extra €1 to make it large).It fills me right to the top of my food pipe and taste good as well. What I would recommend is that either take your whole meal and eat it there only or in case you prefer take away then just buy there burger(around 5.45€)
as there cold drink more fells like some plain juice (I opted for Fanta) n literally no soda in it. As you can easily get cold drinks cheaper at any super market.reason : as the by time you reach home your chips will become more like chewe stuff and cold drink like I said just a plain juice with no soda in it.. but yes burger was delicious n heavy too.good for once in a month.

m.This store is occupied by both Supermac's and Papa John's. I came here for a pizza from Papa Johns only. I ordered a Margherita for dinner and it's about as simple as a pizza as you can get. It's made fresh, tastes good. Enough said.
M. L.I ordered 2 meals for me and my daughter. I'd to send my taco fries back TWICE, cause I'd asked for no cheese (I'm allergic). Third time I got them they were done properly. So a word of advice Supermacs, don't have people taking orders that barely know English, it leads to incidents like this and sometimes worse.

E. O.I was excited to go try the papa john’s when I saw this little shop in Dublin city center. I had always enjoyed their pizzas in the US (California & Portland, OR). It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t amazing. The sauce was better than the pizza.

Now, staff from all over the world. Some are lovely, friendly, very good English, very good hygiene standards. Some of the other staff not so friendly, English is bad, hygiene no better. Even in this time of COVID.
Security guard was behind counter, preparing food for himself making coffee for himself, having a laugh with the staff. Goes out to have a smoke and make a call. Then back in to chat with staff, get his burger, more coffee, and back outside.

O. B. S.Sadly, we didn't have a great experience on this visit.
The staff member who took our order did hardly understand us due to lack of English. The chicken fillet burger we ordered without sauce, came as standard with the sauce and, even worse, the chicken tenders were so dry that they weren't enjoyable at all.
However, remembering how difficult it was to communicate with the cashier assistant earlier, we didn't go back to complain and get the chicken tenders and the burger replaced as we were on a break and had to head back to work.
Hopefully, I can write a more positive review after our next visit as, to be fair, I have to say that we mostly got great food here in the past and, their sundae with cherry sauce beats the ice cream of all
other fast-food restaurants.

Supermacs has all the nasty delicious food groups at your disposal: burgers, fried chicken, pizza, subs, chips, ice-cream and muffin combos etc. A recent dirty late night habit is a Meal A from Papa John's (pepperoni, chicken, peppers). Supermacs chips are miles better than BK's or McD's. Tons of seating available in O'Connell Street branch. Their chicken is also fantastic, with and without a bun.

The wedges weren't really bad in like they were not off, but didn't have any taste and are not worth the price of almost €5. The cheesy garlic bread was tasty and worth the price of €6. Two people who don't eat too much could easily share it. I don't think I will return.
A. T.Everybody loves a supermacs, theres a bench across the road you can sit on. We couldn't sit inside because of restrictions but the weather was fine and the bench was free

Upstairs there is a board to let you know when your order number is ready for collection which is useful. Can get pizza, burgers, fries and subs from here all decently priced. Theres also access to toilets on upper floor.

L. V.This fast food is definitely miles backward the others (Burger King and KFC on top). The burger itself was not too bad, especially for the dressing, but the fries did not worth at all: fatty; oily and soft (almost raw) on the inside. The price isn't special too: for a box meal which included a burger; fries and soft drink I paid 8.15€. For a little bit more (1-2€) I had better in other fast food restaurants.
J. M.Never been here before. It's three different eating places in one. Supermacs, a supersub and papa John's. Really good as the kids had pizza whilst we had a sub and you could even have the same chips from supermacs, so made it really flexible. The meal was large and very filing. Vegan abs veggie options here. We had the vegan sub. I would go again definitely!

Chips were good too but a miserably small portion. Conor counted 14 chips in his so he had mine too. One minor blip in a good meal. That being said, we'll definitely be back. The boy is hooked.....

J. C.Being from the UK I wanted to give a local fast food chain a go that I didn't recognise. Supermac's was great. The loaded fries are gorgeous, I went for the garlic and cheese ones, and have helped me when drunk and the morning after drinking with a hangover. Burgers are top quality too, and a decent price for a meal at around €10 for the burger, fries and a drink.
Being what it is, you do get the weekend drinkers in at the end of the night...and that builds its character somewhat.
Not too healthy, so not the best everyday meal, but amazing when you absolutely need to eat a good sobering meal!

P. C.I go there for breakfast often it's really nice the staff and manager are some of the nicest people I've met anywhere. The only issue I would have is the bathroom. Yesterday 2 guys were abusing the manager for being kicked out for doing drugs in the bathroom and today I found drug drug paraphernalia in the toilet and guys begging for money upstairs. There isn't much the staff can do about this they need help.

A. S.Famous Irish fast-food restaurant, our own take on American fast food. Not good for you, not to be eaten regularly, but fine for an occasional treat.
This branch has ample seating upstairs, fast service, and it's usually possible to find a clean table.
D. P.Favourite place to have a burger, healthy option with brown bun and grilled chicken fillet only place that do a healthy option burger with great flavours. Supermac's is always my first choice being a diabetic when craving a burger. Menu also very varied. OConnel Street is my most visited branch but the Heuston station branch have lovely staff always very helpful.

I wish there were more guys like that who like their job and care about customers.

J. L.A lotta people seemed new. Manager did a good job wrangling them but then I got irrationally angry because when I asked for sauce with my chicken tenders after I already had paid she told me it costs money and I only had a credit card. Didn't want to hold up the line so I went sauceless.

Whether you're Irish supporting an Irish business that puts a lot back into the community or a tourist wanting to compare the friendliness of an Irish alternative to the big global players, you'll find Supermac a refreshing change. As you would expect the premises were spotless and even though its probably the busiest Supermac in the country, service was very fast and very friendly. Food is REAL, ie. no reheated from frozen. From salads to Irish Burgers to Irish Chicken.... all delicious (I've been several times.) And a bonus you can sit and watch Dublin life go by on the most famous street in Ireland. Enjoy!
M. C.This Supermacs is part of a fast food restaurant chain operating throughout Ireland. I generally pop in here when I'm in Dublin and I've always found the highest standards and the staff to be courteous and efficient. It's a busy location but there is quite a bit of additional seating upstairs, together with toilets which are cleaned regularly. What I like most about Supermacs are the range of food (which includes healthy options) , the taste of the food and the pleasantness of the staff. Always a pleasure to return.

BUT I was surprised to hear the song Do They Know It's Christmas by Band Aid, a 1984 record for a famine that happened in Ethiopia at the time. It is quite strange what this song means for many people and how it sets the standard and image of Ethiopia and Africa as many people in the West have a hard time differentiating between Africa being a continent and a country. I don't understand the reason why the music is still played to be honest - it is a sad song made for a fundraiser and people still play it in their Christmas song playlist - quite disturbing. We tried talking to the manager about it but he told us the music is selected by the HQ and they have no control over it. That was even worse! I hope they get back to their senses and understand what this song means for Africans in general and Ethiopians particularly.
