A hidden gem in the heart of Dublin.

One of the best Lebanese restaurants, I have been to! Amazing and accommodating, DTE staff. Delicious, authentic and in-budget food.
Must try : jallab, Veg Meze, Chilli prawns, Falafel, babaganoush, lentil soup.

Lebanese restaurant located in the heart of Dublin. Food was delicious, true flavours. We had a platter for 2 that included all the main starters and a main dish (rice with eggplant and chickpeas). For dessert halva and mint tea. There is no outdoor seating and proof of vaccination is required to eat in. Service was good, bathroom clean. We paid eu 90 including tip and a large bottle of sparkling water.

Amazing food. The atmosphere magic! Nice music also ..
The portions are well served.. everything perfect!!!

Amazing family run restaurant with LEGIT hummus and homemade pitas. The portions are really generous and served neatly. The staff are so nice and friendly. Makes you want to come here and write a review. REALLY RECOMMENDED

Stopped by here for lunch and were not disappointed.
Beautiful fresh food lovely friendly service and lots of food for a lunchtime visit.
It was freshly cooked and really had super flavours. We had the schwarma and a chicken in tomato main along with 2 different types of starters. All were beautiful.
Thank you all!
A. N.
The food is exceptional. Really flavourful and fresh. I could eat like 5 bowls of hummus it's SO good. The staff are always really welcoming and accomodating. I love the ambience as well. Highly recommended.
M. P.
Fantastic food. I really recommend you try it out.

A lovely family restaurant, with great stylish interior and, what is most important, great food. Delicious Lebanese treasures on your plates.

I wanted to try how this res6prepares east Mediterranean cuisine so i made an order on deliveroo
-Lamb Arayes in the transparent container for 8€ are ok, not what i expected but not too bad. A bit thin and small portion. The lamb mix is not what we are used to have in Levant region.
-The Tabouleh in the white cup for 7€ has properly cleaned and chopped parsley and appropriate amount of lemon and other ingredients. However it has a strange oil after taste. Probably need to change your olive oil. And the portion is minimum.
-Cheese fatayer for 7€ is like a random bread filled with mozarella. No unique taste at all. You can do the same at home for 2€
-Do i feel full? Not even close, even though my weight is 65kg. This meal for 22€ works best as a moderate treat every now and then.

Really enjoyed a quick lunch there, definitely I will be back to explore more Lebanese cuisine! Super nice staff 😄 update! I visited Cedar Tree again for proper testing and that was an amazing culinary adventure 😄 Just revisited The Cedar Tree after a few months - really happy to see that they survived so far COVID-19 - the serving now in outdoor scenarios as the current level 3 permitted.

amazing food and well priced. staff was friendly + funny

Love this restaurant, try to stop by for lunch every couple of weeks. Veggie mezze platter is great, as are the various wraps. Really tasty, highly recommend
E. S.
Was here during lunchtime. Quiet place, tasty food and very nice and helpful waitress. Definitely will come back to try more dishes.
A. R.
Great food. The desert may not be of your taste but the chicken shawarma was great. It’s a nice place to go with family.
v. k.
Great restaurant, staff were friendly and hospitable, I ordered lamb dishes for the starters and main course and both were amazing . I ordered the Lebanese coffee and was satisfied by the blend of cardamom with the freshness of the coffee which made it a great choice . I'd definitelly recommend this place to others
R. L.
Super place. Staff is friendly and food is very tasty.
S. O.
Beautiful little restaurant. The vegetarian messe was perfect for 2 people. Around 10 little varied lebanese dishes, all really tasty. Food and service was excellent
A. K.
Ive been ordering to work off these guys for the past few days and i have to say - you make my day every single time! The kabsah and the shawarma wraps are the best 😍
K. R.
Arabic Music, Middle Eastern Ambience and Lebanese Staff gives this restaurant a really good vibe. Food tastes fine. We had lamb soup,Fatayer,Kabsa,Mezze lamb platter and Manoushe Cheese and Sujok. It was all good and then I found a splinter of glass in the hummus. The waiter was kind enough to apologize and take back the plate. They didn’t charge us for the Mezze platter and accepted it was a huge mistake from their end. So I give them 4 Stars rating because food was fine and they accepted their mistake.
A. L. S.
Our whole group loved this place! Phenomenal food and nice staff. Still most those desserts, the homemade lemonade, and chicken shawarma. Best food of the whole trip.
R. C.
Frantically busy Saturday night in Dublin and we were lucky enough to find a table at this haven of tranquility and delectable dishes . A hidden gem. The sea bass was superb and the service delightful. Thank you.
D. A.
Their food is nice .one of very few that do shawarma on Lebanese flat bread . Very nice flavors but I think you can get better for a better price .when am I gonna live to see the day when a Dublin restaurant does their own stuffed wine leaves :(
E. C.
The food was delicious and service was pretty good.
We came here for lunch. I got the veggie mezze and my partner got one of the lunch specials : one of the listed entrees (Maghmour) with hummus.
The amount of food was pretty huge, in addition to being delicious. We got a good amount of bread for both of us, but I don’t know if you get the same amount in a bigger group.
They weren’t super huge on the water refills, but we had a water bottle with us if needed.
The servers were very polite. While we were eating, we heard this loud, ignorant woman ask if they used MSG or other artificial flavorings. We say she is ignorant, because MSG is natural and people like her only ask this in restaurants staffed by people of color. We didn’t hear what the servers said, but they spoke in a more hushed tone.

Lovely Lebanese restaurant in Dublin City Centre, pretty different from the usual options. The staff was friendly and provided assistance with the menu. We got superb food for a more than reasonable price. Recommended.
J. P.
A nice place in the city centre of Dublin where you can enjoy a good value Lebanese meal. The mains were tasty and the desserts were good. Staff was friendly. Suitable interior. I didn't check the hygienic facilities.
G. V.
We used to come here to enjoy the beautiful crab claws in garlic and tomato sauce.....
I wonder if you still serve them?
I. S.
Awesome food. Nice atmosphere. I loved it. And a big variety of vegan dishes. You can also get a vegan platter for 2 people with a big variety of vegan mezze. And the service is really nice.
S. W.
Favourite restaurant in Dublin. The falafel is so good, the staff are absolutely lovely and the baklava is delicious 😍
E. A. A.
Very good Lebanese food, their portions are very generous and the service is excellent. I found the deserts to be a little bit heavy in the rose water though. It didn't made the dish inedible, but it was overpowering the other flavours.
F. E.
I went to the cedar tree for very long time and the Food was to die for . I had hummus, cheese rolls and kofta and OMG it was amazing .
S. C.
A great find, with a tasty menu of dishes very different from the standard fare in Dublin. Staff very helpful and a good atmosphere in a cosy setting.
G. M.
My first Lebanese meal. Ever. Superb Lebanese run Lebanese restaurant. Intimate surroundings. Friendly. The food was amazing and the mint tea refreshing. Highly recommend.
V. H.
One of my favorite places to eat typical middle eastern food in Dublin, portions are huge so be hungry when you go there! Friendly staff, location in the heart of the city.
K. S.
My wife and I had dinner here. I had a bottle of Lebanese beer, chicken wings to start and chicken shawarma with potatoes for my main. My wife had chicken spring rolls to start and prawns with rice for her main with a glass of fresh orange juice. Excellent food, great friendly quick service, all at a reasonable price (for Dublin), and really generous portions (I couldn't finish my main). The restaurant is in a good location also. Excellent!
M. J.
Love this restaurant staff so nice and food wow, great value too would highly recommend it
R. F.
Genuine Lebanese cuisine at its finest.
The owners are very friendly, food is very good and portions are fair for what you pay, highly recommended
M.
Food was lovely arranged on the plates and absolutely delicious! The homemade lemonade was very tasty 😋 Staff was friendly, nice and helpful. Nice restaurant that's worth to be discovered!
P. L.
Love this place. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is even better!
If ever in town, make sure to pop in here for a lovely meal and an even better time.
L. B.
Delicious authentic Lebanese food with fantastic service.
V. V.
Tasty Lebanese food! Kebabs were tender and juicy. Must get the mezza next time to get the most authentic experience.
E. M.
This place is one of the best restaurants in Dublin hands down. I’ve been for lunch as well as dinner today we had the Vegetarian Mezze which is stunning. Great place for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Bonus, the staff treats you like family.
M. C.
Nice Lebanese Reataurant in the city centre of Dublin. The customer service is just perfect. We were welcomed by lebanese member of staff "Mahmoud Abbass" who was very kind, he is an asset for this restaurant.
The food is good, tasty, and affordable.
The only drawback i found is cleanliness of toilets.
Otherwise. I would recommend it for middle eastern, lebanese authentic cuisine lovers in Dublin
M. S.
One of the best #LebaneseRestaurant in #Dublin... #TheTaste #TheMusic and #TheHospitality are the #USP of this place.... every time I visit, I find something new, something different ... #IAmLovingIt (Sorry McDonalds 😝)
J. A.
Love the food here, staff are great too. Overall atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. My fave restaurant in Dublin
V. S. F.
Went there yesterday to have dinner with my wife and the service was outstanding!!! The girls were so nice and chatty, making us feel we belonged to the place. Food was absolute gorgeous and the baba ganoush was the best !!! Stop everything you’re doing right now, go the Cedar Tree and order the baba ganoush. Is going to make your week!!!!!
I. C.
Loved this place! The food was delicious, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, the music and every detail made it a great experience ♥️
F. R.
Tasty food and a good prices. Remember to try dessert! Delicious.
L. B.
We went for dinner and ordered the byblos mezze. The mezze itself is abundant and tasty but the main that comes with it (the shawarma) was not good. It was overcooked, very greasy and most of the meat was really fatty.
The staff is great, actually. Very nice, welcoming. If you go, I suggest getting a starter and mains. Don’t do the mezze. In my honest opinion it’s a bit overpriced...
C. C.
The food was spectacular with exceptionally friendly and curious staff. I would defiantly recommend a visit.
R. R. G.
I am giving three stars for the staff and ambience there but I did not like chicken kebab and wouldn't recommend this . The food was very dry and it was very hard to consume.
R. v. R.
Delicious food and friendly cheerful staff! Lovely atmosphere and child friendly! Definitely visiting again!
D. S.
Wonderful food. And the woman who took our
order was extremely friendly. I didn’t like the pita that came with the hummus but I do not hold that against them; it is very possible that it was a bit too authentic for me.
M. W.
Lovely dishes , good helpings and lovely ambience. very friendly and accomodating staff ! Good lunch experience...
M. B.
The food was delicious, the service extremly nice, the price was low. A very good alternative top burger and fishnchips.
W. F. M.
Tried out Lebanese food for the first time! Very tasty. The starter with hummus and lamb mince is delicious
S. ..
Spent a nice afternoon here... Authentic food and ambience, friendly and courteous staff... Highly recommended!
D. A.
Delicious, the portions are satisfying. Best place for Arab food. A little expensive though.
N. V.
No lamb only options. For a Lebanese restaurant this was unusual. However food was tasty not the best and service was good. Loved the potatoes and appetisers. Would recommend. However I recommend having a lamb option.
P. L.
Great lunch thank you again wonderful food, real lebanese. Delicious
T. A.
Absolutely delicious!! Great value and lovely staff. Can't wait to go back!
J. H.
Very tasty food, Lebanese- Mediterranean platters. Ask for the typical dishes and drinks. Great personnel, very tight price and big quantities of food. Will repeat for sure.
B. I.
Very delicious meal.
Had the hummus with pita and the vine leaves (vine wrap)
Chicken shwarma was amazing as well! Ate everything way too fast to take a picture!
B. C.
One of our favourite restaurants. Amazing taste and favour in the food. Really relaxed with no rushing.
J. M.
Great food and friendly service. Always get the grape leaves appetizer
M.
The food is really tasty and the staff is great! Definitely recommended!
D. H.
Very good and authentic food. Especially the vegetarian mezze plate.
S. B.
It is always a treat to visit this place. Excellent service and hospitality, food to die for and beautiful decor. On a recent visit we got chatting to the ladies who run this place and we happened to mention we were celebrating a special occasion. A beautiful tray of Lebanese desserts came up as a special gesture to wish us from their side. We were very touched by the extra mile that they went to to make our evening so delightful. I highly recommend this place!
m.
Excellent food and friendly staff, being nearly 2 years since we last visited and hope it's not as long until the next time.
I. M.

D. O.
Brilliant highly recommended staff very good food excellent go and enjoy.
A. N.
Very tasty food and very friendly and professional staff.
r. k.
Great food, friendly staff, wonderful service
E. E.
Starters portions were too small for prices they set, Amazing food & taste but portions need to be re thought.
Lamb shank & rice was what I ordered & I recommend you order the same if youre a meat fanatic, ask for yoghurt sauce & chilli sauce to eat with rice.. this dish alone is 5 stars.. i just wish starters were bigger & better
j. 3.
The chicken wings are the best, grilled to perfection, value for money and the staff are very friendly
C. L.
Loved the place and the food. Lebanese food is one of my favorites
H. I.
Honest Foodie Review: The hummus, baba ganoush, and lentil soup was great. The chicken shawarma would have been better as a wrap or if they didn’t put the bread underneath, tastes good just tough to cut. The bread is homemade, decent quality. The service was ok, very friendly family. Didn’t have a few items we wanted on the menu, but oh well. They also got the bill wrong but made it right, possibly just an off night. I would still recommend to try The Cedar Tree, I know I would return again.
J. M.
Absolutely amazing place, have been going here for over 20 years, never ever disappoints!!!!highly recommend!!!!xx
K. E.
Very good food and attentive service. I would recommend the shared Mezze for several people as you get to try a variety of the amazing dishes.
W. V.
The best Lebanese restaurant in Dublin, great food, service and a good price.
C. D.
Always enjoy Cedar tree for their Lebanese and middle Eastern fare. Recommended
M. Y.
One of the best experiences in Dublin. The staff is ever so friendly and willing to make sure you're satisfied. The food...wow...I had the veg mezze and did not want it to end!!! So much love and pride in the food! Oh and very very fresh as well. Must stop for locals and passers by!
B. B.
Overpriced, but delicious.
The portions are super small though
C. K.
Super tasty food and extremely friendly staff. Our waiter was a young man who seemed to enjoy his job and took good care of us. The food was really good. We would especially recommend the fish appetizer and the grilled halloumi.
The restaurant itself was decorated nicely and we had enough space.
M. M.
Absolutely gorgeous place. So friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is incredible every time we dine here. We were a party of four and enjoyed two different mezze. We were lucky enough to be treated to some belly dancing too! It's always a delight to dine here, staff are so lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone!
w. a.
The lunch deal is worth the value. The food is halal and okay.
M. D.
Nice restaurant with an exotic feel. They have early bird menu from 4:30 till 7:30 for 20euro , definitely recommend!
A. A.
Great Restaurant! Lovely food definitely recommend.
S.
Great food.
Choose a Mezze not individual dishes. Much better value and much more variety.
I've been many times and it's always good.
They can give you lettuce instead instead of pitta bread, if you're gluten free, and can tell you which dishes are and aren't gluten free.
S. B.
Excellent. Great service and the food was amazing.
O. S.
Such a beautiful place to dine! The staff is so welcoming and will embrace you like family. A lot of love goes into the food so expect it to transfer into your conversation at the table. Day 1 I ordered the Veg Mezze (which is pictured) and Day 2 the Hummus and Maghmour! These flavors will dance on your pallet and make you plan a trip to Lebanon!!! Very grateful for this experience! A must for locals and travelers the same.
V.
Delicious menu of well-seasoned and traditionally prepared Lebanese meals. Shared meals are a great date-night option, and more food than you'll be prepared for! A lovely place to linger and chat, and we enjoyed everything on the menu immensely. The staff are also knowledgeable about the food and wine, and very helpful and professional. We had a great experience here, and highly recommend!
E. M.
Great lebanese restaurant, and although it is a bit pricey, it is definitely worth it. I had the best hummus in Dublin. I will definitely come back.
A. D.
A very nice authentic Lebanese restaurant that serves tasty food. The variety on the menu is quite generous too. I would highly recommend and the staff here are lovely.
A. L. C.
This was a total delight! The restaurant is nicely decorated, with middle eastern accents. The food was great and it did not disappoint. From starters to the dessert, we have been taken on a voyage of spices. The staff is very friendly and attentive to our needs. While the meals are perfectly portioned, not too big and not too small, the place is fairly abordable, with meals ranging from 10 to 20 euros, depending on the number of courses you want. This is definitely a place I will try to get back to. Thank you very much!
P. P.
Delicious food. The falafel was one of the best I've ever had. The lamb leg was terrific. Service was fast and friendly. A bit on the expensive side though, but apparently ~30 euros for a 2 course meal and a drink seems to be the average in Dublin.
M. K.
The only place I've managed to find Kabsa in Dublin - a fantastic place to eat. I would highly recommend visiting this place. Lots of fun Mezze menus to choose from as well. Great for non-meat eaters as well. My vegan friend was amazed at all the options available to him.
N. M.
Lovely restaurant for dinner and celebrate birthdays etc.. excellent service
S. K.
This was a complete revelation for me, I'm only moderately fond of this style of food so I don't usually frequent this type of restaurant. That will be changing from now on. I really enjoyed the food and the service, and was thinking by the end of eating that the place was a solid 4 stars and was happy. Then the bill came, the shock was all positive, €31 for 3 starters and 2 mains at lunchtime. Really fantastic value, highly recommend!!
M. Z.
Some of their dishes are very good, others are ok. I didn’t feel the lentil soup was authentic, but the shawarma was good. The manakeesh was also very good but not authentic enough. I will go again for sure and try more stuff. it’s definitely one of the good Arabic spots in Dublin. but not the best here.
C.
Very good place with fair prices, especially for lunch. The staff has always been very nice.
The food tastes awesome, and the dessert are very good too. We often take the desserts to-go because the main dishes are generous. They are perfect for a tea time!
M. G.
Excellent food in a well decorated, centrally located venue. Recently ordered the Lebanon Mezze and it was a real treat for 2, with the best babaghanoush I've ever had, and my partner only begrudgingly sharing the fried stuffed flatbed. The servers were all fun and talkative in spite of it being a busy night and were happy to recommend wine and dessert as well as explain menu items we weren't familiar with.
L. M.
Great food and really good customer service! 👍
G. B.
3 of us had a delicious lunch - there's a 2 or 3 course lunch special, but the mezze was irresistible. We enjoyed every delicious mouthful. Service was excellent too. Highly recommended.
M. G.
Hands down the best Lebanese restaurant in Dublin. Unfortunately the first thing that I ate here, the mixed kafta, was so good that I have ordered it every single time that I have visited for dinner. For lunch, they offer a great set menu deal from 12 until 5pm. I'd recommend the chicken shawarma if you avail of this.
S. S. I.
Absolutely amazing experience when it comes to both food and service. The place was almost empty when we went as it was pretty early for dinner, so we were seated quickly. The crowd picked up as it got late.
We ordered vine leaves which was served with mint yoghurt and a small salad, maghmour served with rice, jaballah a rose water based drink with sultanas and nuts. My friend ordered one of their kaftas, but unfortunately I don't remember which one. The kaftas were served with bread and a dip. Everything was absolutely delicious and nothing that I can say was bad. The dishes were beautifully served. The vine leaves were delicious little morsels. The maghmour smelled amazing and tasted even better. The jaballah had a surprising, but delicious taste (my favourite part of the meal). I couldn't taste the kafta, but according to my friend, it was delicious and she's very picky when it comes to food.
The place was very vegetarian friendly with a lot of vegetarian options and all their meat is halal. The service was quick and the servers very warm. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you visit Dublin.
I. A. d. N.
Cosy place for a Sunday lunch. Good food, staff polite and friendly.
J. O.
The food was amazing! Disappointed I didn't have room for dessert.
E. C.
Stumbled upon this great Lebanese place on my trip to Dublin! Had the lunch special which was great value and had a fantastic selection to choose from. Would be a regular customer if only I lived closer!
G. H.
With tasty and authentic Lebanese food, The Cedar Tree is one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin. They serve some of the best hummus I have ever tasted and never once have I been let down by the quality of their food or service. Very highly recommended!
A. P. A.
We went for my friend's birthday dinner on the 30th of June 2018. I made the reservation by phone and I was amazed from the girl on the phone. She was friendly and was trying to help and find the best solution to suit us.
We were even more amazed from the food but most importantly by our server Georgina!
We ordered Beirut Mezze for 3 people and the plates filled the tables, both tables in fact! We could not stop eating! Food was stunning!
Georgina was very accommodating, very kind and the best person for this job!
All in all it was a successful choice to spend my friend's birthday and we will definitely go again!!!
S. L.
I've never eaten Lebanese food before and this as an amazing experience. The place is very beautiful and the food has a good price.
It can be busy sometimes so check before you go ( I don't know if reservation is possible). The staff made some small mistakes during the service but when they realised they apologise and corrected the mistake.
The food came reasonably fast, this is something I appreciate a lot hence I'm highlighting here.
T. T.
Really nice place. We had one of the Mezze selections and got far more food than we expected. It was quite fun to eat from so many small dishes. Staff were really nice and the house wine was very pleasant.
P. Á.
Great place! The food is super tasty, staff is friendly. Portions are decent. There are also veg-friendly dishes as well. I would recommend to book in advance because it can be busy during dinner time.
A. H.
This is the best lebanese restaurant in the area. Prices are reasonable and the food is great. Don't be afraid to try something other than their shawarma (their lamb is delicious). They also have vegan and vegetarian options.
J. H.
Great veggie options, and apparently some Vegan options too. The hummus, oh man, is stunning. There's some witchcraft in there. Great space, nice vibe, great food. Really enjoyed it. And it's been around a good long time which is a great endorsement in itself.
G. P.
From what I understood from my Arab friends, some names in the menu are misleading, but other than that everything was great!
EDIT (2019): seems like the management has changed, now it's an even better place. The food is awesome and in a decent quantity.
l. l.
Best restaurant in Dublin. Each plate is tasty and portion is generous. The price is very reasonable. We eat here once or twice a month. And never disappointed. :)
F. C.
My favorite restaurant in Dublin so far. Not only the stuff is very very friendly and kind but the food is amazingly good and the whole atmosphere is great. I love the tile pictures on the wall and also the dancer lady who surprises you if you go there late enough ;)
A. M.
Nice Restaurant. Good Vegetarian options. Bought the early bird option which is 10 euros lower than the original price. The waitress was warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
R. K.
Delicious food at this Lebanese restaurant - and so much of it! We ordered the vegan mezze which included hummus, ful medames (my favourite!), a load of other yummy small dishes plus flatbread, followed by a tomato aubergine stew with rice which was to die for, although at this point it was a struggle to fit it in. Great atmosphere as well and the staff were helpful and lovely. Highly recommend :)
G. D. G.
Great place. I had a nice evening
L. O.
Incredible food. The dessert was so delicate and a really unique, sweet taste of the Levant. Lovely Lebanese staff who really appreciated my effort to speak Arabic! I'll be coming here again.
S. T. A.
Good Lebanese food slightly pricey though
A. P.
A truly scrumptious dining "experience" last night @ The Cedar Tree Dublin. From the start to the finish our group of 6 were treated with enthusiasm and warmth.
The meze selection that was recommended by Hicham was culinary perfection. From the stunning array of authentic Lebanese dips to falafels to kofte, into the mains selection of lamb and chicken ... everything catered to all our tastes. 5 ☆ service made our evening just that extra bit more special.
Thankyou team @ Cedar Tree
5☆

An amazing resterant.
Its a real place to go if you are a foodie!
The place is spotless the staff are amazing and the food is out of this world!!
A. E.
The only Lebanese restaurant in Dublin that I only needed to order one portion to fill me up. Food is great too.
Editing my old review for a fundamental reason :) this is hands down the best place in Dublin to eat beef shawerma. Compared to all other Lebanese/middle eastern restaurants in Dublin this is the most similar taste to the real one in the middle east.
V. C.
Charming! Tourist in Dublin. Went on my birthday. Service great, Food wonderful, Prices reasonable. The staff took time to ensure the evening was special and even ended up singing "Happy Birthday." (A little embarrassing but very sweet)
n. w.
Delicious libanese food.
C. N.
Large portion sizes, great service, never usually crowded. A great place for a group meal - the tasting menu is a great way to sample tons Lebanese food, just beware as it is indeed alot of food!
r. m.
Nice, authentic, and delicious Lebanese/Syrian food with reasonably culturally connected decor. Staff is professional yet very friendly, would recommend anyone who is looking for Lebanese/Syrian Arabic food options. Try their sheesh tawak
I. N.
Great costumer service from Amer, make sure to visit this place during his shift ! Food was great, if you love middle eastern and mediterranean's food this is the right place.
M. C. N.
It's supposed to be a Lebanese restaurant, but their menu includes salmon dishes... Either way, the food is great. If you're lucky, you might get to see a belly dancing performance (I think it's saturday nights).
The waiters are very nice and the prices are pretty cheap for Dublin standards.
E. v. d. B.
We recommend the platter of vegetarian mezzes, it was amazing! Also the service was very friendly.
H. P.
Was seated as a walk-in; matron requested if we can clear tables by 1.5 hrs for another reservation. Food was very good; went for for the early bird vegetarian mezze. Even our infant daughter liked the food.
R. S.
Amazing family restaurant. Great service and even better food. It is a must to try their falafels. Everything tastes very fresh and home made.
M. L.
Food was delicious, staff where incredible their was just so many plates. 😆 Been here twice and will definitely be back for more in the future. If you've never tried lebenease food you're missing out. Something new, different. Highly recommended.
D. M. C.
So great. This place never disappoints. If you are new to Middle Eastern foods the staff here will help you out and recommend excellent dishes.
S. P.
Great choice if you are in for Libanese food and specially if you like to try different variety. The degustation menu come with plenty of dishes (and they almost don't fit your table). However you have to be willing to pay a little if you want dish + wine + dessert. Good environment, empathetic waiters and amusing belly dance.
Л. К.
Very nice Lebanese restaurant. Tasty food: falafels, hummus, salads. Friendly personal. Prices are a little bit too high, but ok for Dublin. Recommended for lunch or dinner.
R. C.
Was looking forward to visiting this place but the experience was not the best. Everybody seemed to be eating this variety of tapas plates but we ordered 2 separate main courses and they were average. Skewered meat with sauce and some bread. Fine but nothing extraordinary.
s. s.
A hidden jem in the narrow lanes of temple bar. A go to place for an authentic Lebanese experience. Easy on the wallet as well.
G. S.
You cannot leave here hungry. You're literally served a dinner course of all multiple dishes of great Middle Eastern food, followed by a main course of more great food. You can't go wrong here.
S. B.
Delicious food. Great service. Pretty interior. We went on a Sunday and even though it was rainy, the light from outside reaches all the way into the back somehow. Clean and tidy ladies and gents, upstairs.
K. M.
Awesome place! Excellent service and their lentil soup is to die for. We shared the early bird dinner special and it was delicious. Definitely would recommend this place!
R. R.
Very good Lebanese food. Mezze menus are very generous so 2 people will be more than satisfied. Very central location so reservations might be a good way to go.
W. v. V.
Great food and a lovely owner. It was my first time eating Lebanese food but I really liked it. I can really recommend this place of you're looking for a good restaurant with a different menu.
G. A.
Great food selection and the starter platter is amazing. If you have a nice group of people, you should get a variety is starters, you won't regret.
Make sure you have the coffee after
J.
The place is small, which makes it difficult to host large groups. However, food is excellent. It is real Lebanese food, which is hard to find in Dublin as most restaurants will try to adapt to local preferences.
M. S.
Misleadingly high reviews. If you've had great Lebanese food before, you'll find this place indifferent and pricey. Staff were friendly and decor was pleasant but food was average at best.
S. P.
Great place !! Beautuful food !! efficient friendly staff, we were a group of 12 and food came out fast ...belly dancer was an added bonus good fun ...will definitely return.
K. J.
Food was really delicious, safety is taken into consideration with covid certs and distance. The staff were really nice (specially a woman from Romania). Don’t miss out the Hummus it is the best!
J. D.
One of my favorite, inexpensive lunch menus anywhere in Dublin. If you're short on cash, grab a falafel and a glass of their amazing house made lemonade and get back to work in less than an hour and under a tenner after tip.
R. S.
Found it on a small side street and it was great to find it. Had a meal for two from the menu and it was great. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Will be eating here again for sure.
G. M.
Beautiful environment, delicious food, superb wine, excellent service! We couldn't ask for more! Loved it and I will go back for sure!
⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟
J. D.
Nice food, friendly staff but a guy eating rice with bare hands at the next table was a little off putting. Perhaps this is a traditional Lebanese/arabic way of eating but it ruined what was otherwise an enjoyable evening.
K. D.
If you like Lebanese cuisine then I'm sure you'd enjoy The Cedar Tree. Hosts are really friendly & welcoming. Food is great. Excellent value for your money.
C. T.
Nice place in a nice neighborhood.
If you are willing to spend around 20 euros per heads, you will enjoy various Libanese specialties.
Come hungry and with friends. The staff is welcoming and friendly.
E. N.
Had a lovely meal. But at the end of the evening someone was clearly smoking non stop inside the restaurant and the smell filled the room. Very unpleasant.
M.
I was surprised to discover this place. Really worth trying, food is fresh , simple but full of flavour not overpriced considering the location.. a real gem!
A. E.
Love the food. My Lebanese friend says it could be better but I really like it. The place is nice and cozy and the staff is great!
l. w.
Meze was tasty, plentiful and value for money. Service was great and house wine perfect and not usually a desert person but the puds were the perfect ending to the meal. Fantastic hidden gem.
A. S.
Lovely place and great food. Advise is to go for just starters /mezzes and not main course as its more variety and value for money. Portions are very good so you won't come out starving.
t. f.
The food and wine is amazing!!
F. M.
Amazing food and service. Absolutely recommended (belly dance included!) Be careful not to exceed in ordering, portions are huge!
N. A. D.
Starters were good, bread was nice. Mains were poor. Lamb was tough and fatty. Other meals poor too people couldn't finish them. Service was pretty ok
B. C.
Probably my favorite restaurant in Dublin. Sharing a mezze is a nice experience and the food is delicious. Plus it has great vegetarian options. I've been there many times.
B. F.
Wonderful food ,so full of flavour . Lots of interesting choices .
Really wonderful value .
Try the Lebanese beer or the homemade lemonade .
The staff are always helpful .
N. A.
Fine lebanese food in a rustic atmosphere. The meze platter will not leave you hungry - and more possibly it will be enough to take away for your next meal.
g. k. g.
Good place and okay ambience. Service is okay too. When the food is priced at par with high end restaurants one would expect the service and ambience to be at par as well. Slightly disappointed with food quality as well. Overall an average place.
C. L.
Delicious flavoursome food. Cosy environment and staff are friendly. There are not many Lebanese restaurants in Dublin so this is a gem.
P. C.
Excellent friendly service. The starters were incredible. Nice relaxed ambience. Recommended if you like Lebanese food.
A. O.
One of my absolute favourite restaurants in all of Dublin, the people working there alone make the place a place I'd like to come back to, but the food is amazing.
I would deem is to be an absolute most-go restaurant
R. D. B.
One of the best places to have some lebanese food in Dublin. Staff is very friendly, and sometimes they offer some free deserts :)
It is a good place for a quite or romantic date.
E. N.
Great restaurant, 2nd time there and can't wait for our next visit.
P. D.
Friendly staff and excellent ethnic specialities are the selling point of this often overlooked restaurant. Enjoying one of the Lebanese spiced coffees while watching a belly dancer give it her all is a must.
S. J.
The vegan menu was very delicious.
X. O.
Located right beside the Molly Malone statue. Nice quiet Lebanese restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food reasonable prices. Can't complain.
C. D.
Great food, great & friendly service😊
S. K. A.
The most delicious food I've had. The service is the best. It's the best place to be with you're friends. If you're lucky you will see the belly dancer 💃🏻
D. R.
Fab food and great sevice Alice
D. B.
Probably my favourite restaurant in Dublin, mezze are huge so be prepared to share and the coffee is strong but delicious. Could not recommend it more.
E. E.
Great place, very authentic. Food is good, though some dishes did not meet my expectations (especially compared to other places in Dublin).
A. K.
Really friendly staff, amazing menu, delicious dishes to savour. Wonderful dining experience to share with friends.
E. D. M.
Lovely Lebanese restaurant in the heart of the city. Whether you want something small or are looking for a feast the menu is perfect. Friendly staff too!

Great Food, Good Service
N. M.
Brilliant and nice place. Very calm. Great and approachable staff. Had a great meal - fantastic falafel wrap and tasty lentil soup.
T. B.
Delicious food, friendly staff, speedy service. Excellent for vegetarians and good for vegans too if you don't mind skipping dessert.
J. M.
The food is always delicious here (the hummus and magmour are my favorite ones) and the staff is very friendly. One of the best restaurants in Dublin!
C. S.
One of the best places for authentic Lebanese food in Dublin! Always a great place for dinner! Friendly staff and quick service!
K. S.
Yum! One of the best places in the area for sure. The staff is so friendly and pleasant, and the restaurant is beautiful. The food is perfection, too!
M. F.
Good restaurant and nice food. Not perfect but still nice. The food taste and quality could change from time to time. Had a couple of service complains over the visits.
Z. A.
Nice Middle Eastern restaurant. Not the best but good enough whenever we crave for arabic dishes. The waitstaff however is superb!
T. S.
Good food and friendly staff.
The menu for 2 are big portions that will be enough even for the hungriest of people.
j. d.
I tried lebonise food many years ago so this place wasn't my first time, but the food was different but excellent, the service was great but be careful what you order because they give you lots of food.
A. W.
So much food and all delicious. All social distancing rules enforced, felt very safe
P. T.
Great friendly service and lovely food
J. N.
The food was great and tasty. We had the Cedar Tree mezze for the 2 of us and it was plentiful. But it is very expensive.
M. K.
Awesome food and great service
M. O. Q.
Friendly and helpful service. Good ingredients and good value.
A. P.
The best Lebanese in Dublin, no doubt. We chose the menu for 2 people and it was really really good. I can not recommend enough this place
R. A.
Insanely good food and a very diverse menu. Also, the staff are very nice and friendly. A good place to get lunch.
E. M.
Tabboule, too much lemon, water is not served the Lebanese ways, and they don't have "the" Lebanese bread.
Everything else was good but didn't capture what i really missed from back home.
P. O.
Nice selection of food in the mezze, really good. But no need for the so-called main course. Feels like an excuse to up the prices.
L.
What a pleasant surprise this restaurant is. Nice food at an affordable price. Nice interior with lots of light and nice decoration. Friendly staff.
j. k.
went for lunch. Pleasantly surprised. Lots of fresh healthy food at affordable prices. Attentive and fast service.
C. O.
Went here recently with work. They split us over two tables and then gave out to us for been loud as we chatted to one another!! They serve only one type of beer in small bottles and charge heavy for them. The foods OK. Wouldnt be in a hurry back
G. H.
Lovely fresh food served as and when we wanted it. The portions were big and we were definitely not left wanting We will be back!
R. A.
Food was excellent. But we were treated horribly as two women together in the restaurant. Ignored by staff. Worse than being invisible.
L. R.
I had the lamb, it was amazing, one of if not the best I have ever eaten. Great family atmosphere.
O. D.
Very cute restaurant. Lunch are very affordable and delicious! Service is great. You should absolutely try the humus, it's delicious!!
J. L.
Good food, reasonably priced, and lots of it. Very friendly staff . The giant "Mezze" selections are highly recommended, as are the house Lebanese wines.
H. G.
One of the best Lebanon restaurants in Dublin. Don't miss the lunch deal starter and main course for €12.
J. P.
Enjoyed here perfect vegetarian menu and my friend lot of meat. Satisfaction for both. Very polite and quick staff.

W. P.
Very nice place to go to. Good food and affordable price.Great atmosphere and the decor is very nice too.
E.
Friendly staff, delicious food, especially the mezze platter. It's quite expensive though - between €40-60p.p
J. S. S.
Lovely staff, fresh food, cosy ambiance. They served food with mayonnaise instead of Hummus and that was the only disappointment.
I. I.
Hummus was good, shawarma was ok. Pretty expensive for the quality but a nice atmosphere and a pretty acceptable wine selection.
K. S.
Really nice restaurant situated off busy city centre streets . Beautiful food reaonably priced . Staff helpful and friendly .
S. M.
Starter was really tasty but main wasn't as full of flavour, still nice though. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
N.
Good food but service is just bad :( slow, unfriendly and the also forgot some of my order. I had to ask for a glass of water for 3 times before they finally got it 30 mins later
W. J.
