Although most of my trip to Ireland is a blur, too many trips to Temple Bar 🤟🤤 the one thing that stayed clear is how good the food was! Never heard of Beans and Mash until I got there and now I'm addicted! Market Bar mixes all of Ireland into one, bottomless booze and amazing food! I definitely suggest hopping over there on any trip through Dublin!🤟🤤🍀🍻

Nice place to have Spanish tapas in the heart of Dublin. For lunch you get 1 small and 1 large tapas included. If you are not sure what to try, go for the lamb and chicken skewers(served with couscous and rice) and you won't be disappointed. Portions are huge and price tag very reasonable. They also offer pasta for kids. Highly recommended 👍

The lunch deal was great, for €17 we got one small and one large tapa. And complimentary bread with dips which were delicious. The choices were good for our vegetarian friends also. It was filling which was good. Covid safety wise, felt safe and service was excellent - friendly, informative and attentive, all you'd want really. The cocktails were also excellent.

Great service and delicious food!! We ordered 2 small tapas patatas bravas and nachos - they were quite a big portions... you can share them like proper tapas. And 2 big tapas- lamb koftas with couscous- which was full of amazing flavours and calamari that were melting in my mouth... For dessert we had churros... Lunch was delicious and staff was super nice. Also they have a great deal where you can choose one small and one big tapas for 17euros. Will be back soon definitely !

Amazing tapas, bottomless cava, what else you need for a brunch spot. Amazing staff welcoming and taking care of everyone. All in the heart of Dublin

Had table booked at 4:15 and arrived at 4pm, plenty of space inside. In terms of Covid, bathrooms were very clean and hand santiser on each food table. There are also a lot of tables outside, super nice if the weathers lovely. Great drink menu, ordered a jar of sangria for €36 which was enough to fill up six glasses, so three each. Ordered dinner deal which is €23 for one small and one large tapas, so we ended up sharing all four meals. Ordered: croquettes (very yummy highly recommended), bruschetta with aubergines and zucchini, calamari and best part of the meal - chicken wings. These wings were so gorgeous, hot and dipped in honey, nom! I love my chicken wings so I always know if they're fresh, which they definitely were. Great place to come for food if you want to try many dishes at ones with friends, great tunes also! We were allowed to stay for 1 hour 45 mins and then had to leave but i will take that over lockdown any day!!!
Thanks so much to the whole team

I simply love this restaurant and I always have lunch or dinner here every time I am in Dublin. Wonderful service and delicious tapas. The lunchtime deal include a small and a large tapa for 17 euro. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, great staff and very good value.

I expected alot to be honest... both beer and food was not good. only good is Ambience I will say not the service.

Nice and cosy little tapas restaurant.Food and drinks were lovely and the staff was friendly and professional 😁
Would recomend 😁

Amazing customer service and food. Burak is a master of making people feel welcome. With a toddler and new baby, places like this can feel a little uncomfortable but not today. 100% our go-to in Dublin City center from now on. Thanks for making our first evening out for food with the family special.

The staff seemed very unsure of themselves here, and the service time was quite long as half our order was forgotten. The table we were seated at was placed on top of a grill and would move every time a staff member walked by on it. The food itself was good, the portions of the large tapas are very generous and the beer was great! Good moderate pricing too! A good spot for a bite!

Cool place to enjoy Spanish tapas in Dublin city center. The atmosphere is really nice, and the new set-up for covid restrictions makes it a bit less noisy than what it used to be.
There is a current dinner menu at 23€/pers with one small tapas and one big tapas, and the portion are quite generous.
Everything was very good, special mention to the Padrón peppers and the lamb kofta.

Great place with nice food and drinks on the menu.
Tapas were tasty as well as our Mojito. However, the price of the cocktail was a bit on a higher side and I did not expect it until we received the receipt.
All in all, staff is very friendly, Covid rules well respected and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy some lovely tapas with drinks in the area.

The Market Bar restaurant dining is a lovely experience In the centre of Courtyard. Dining out in a lovely weather capturing the beautiful facade around the Bord Gas, Arena Aparts , Lovely Man made Lake swans which are filled in, will definitely take the dining experience more memorable.
After the dining you can chill out with your family and partner in the courtyard bench and lit stand light poles for Instagrammers
Staffs are really great, Not an elaborated Menu, but what they offer in quality and quantity for food is amazing.
Kids Menu is absolutely fantastic especially the chicken Gujuns and Chocobrowny desert. The staffs will offer some play materials to kids to keep them busy.
Accessible bars, Taxi range in front of Hotel, available rooms in Market bar makes it more convenient for your dining experience.
2 minutes walk from all the possible bus routes to this Marketplace Bar Restaurant will be a great choice if you don’t drive.

Reserved a table for two for bottomless cava brunch on a Saturday afternoon. I emailed to say we were running ten minutes behind as I could not get an answer on their phone. There was no issue, the hostess checked us in and seated us upstairs. We then waited twenty minutes to be served - I had to wave at the manager who admittedly was very busy, he then asked one of the waitresses to serve us. Food and cava came within ten minutes of ordering, nice food and decent portions. We had another bottle of cava and had a good time listening to music.
The seating was for two hours and I was not sure if this time was from when we were seated or from when we were served, so I asked the waitress to bring our bill ten minutes before so we had time to finish our drinks, gather ourselves and get out of their hair.
She aggressively marched over a few minutes later with a bill and a ridiculous service charge that was not discussed. We are not American, if I want to tip I tip the server directly, in this case I had planned to, but her attitude became so nasty and rude she shocked me. She handed the bill to my partner and as he was paying turned to me and said you need to leave and get out you have been here longer than two hours.
I was shocked, as there was no need for this aggressivness, I pointed out that I had asked for the bill earlier and she again stated that we needed to "move now". I asked her to not be so rude and she immediately turned defensive saying that she was just doing her job.
Well I just did my job and finished the drink I had paid for. This staff member is an absolute disgrace and has no business working in the service industry. It was so blatant that the couple seated next to me remarked on her behaviour. A Shame that this person ruined what was otherwise a lovely afternoon.
One star for the food, one for the DJ and one for the professional hostess. However, there are staff members working here that will give this establishment a very bad name.
S. D.
Food here is amazing. The staff are great considering the conditions they have to work under (covid). It was my first time here, will definitely call again
P. B.
Nice venue, big and clean and vaccine passports checked. 👍🏻 In terms of flavour, the food was average. The salted calamari was really disappointing but the other dishes were fine. Good cocktails and cold beer! We were split across two tables due to Covid rules. One table received main courses quickly, the other waited an additional twenty minutes for theirs. Also, subsequent drink orders were hit and miss. Not a bad choice for a casual - if not inexpensive - evening out with friends. A 12.5% service charge is added to the bill - so menu price plus 12.5%.
C. B.
Food good, reasonable & service was good. Would remove the gaudy Spanish dividers when you can. music wasnt Spanish nor were the photos on wall... pick a theme guys. Good overall
M. V.
Very impressed. It was really good prepared for covid: there were face masks available, hand sanitizer in each corner, single use menus, cutlery sealed in individual bags and even a paper cover for the glasses! We felt really safe having our meal. Food is very nice and portions are big for a tapas bar. Atmosphere is lovely. We definitely recommend it and we'll come back for sure
P. D.
Went to the Market Bar for few Christmas Drinks and meal and enjoyed. Lovely venue pity Covid has damaged hospitality. Market Bar stuck to the Door Check and limited numbers. Spotless and I'll be back.
A.
Very nice tapas bar in a super cool "barn/stable" atmosphere. You can eat good meaty stuff, but also their cheeses and salads are food. Don't be fooled by the small prices, the portions are big and you can easily overorder!
N. D.
Staff were rushing us from our table & even said we'd have to take our desserts to go! Food was nice. Service not great, staff dont seem to communicate!
S.
The servers were nice for most part, the food was average. Unfortunately though they said they don't accept cash which surprised me since cash is legal tender, I didn't see any signs saying this nor were were informed before ordering, would of been fine if we were told about it before but I didn't know when it came to pay the bill. They also charge 12.5% service fee on all bills even for 2 people (this is mentioned on menu), most other restaurants only do this in tables of 6+ people which is understandable, so I was surprised by that, but due to that no tips are required to give since apparently staff get the 12.5% directly.
Over all the experience was OK, I wouldn't go back but it wasn't the worst experience.
H. S.
Food was nice, drinks were excellent and the music made a good atmosphere. However the service was disappointing and the staff seemed uninterested, with long waits for ordering and between drinks. Lack of communications from staff members. The small and large tapas dishes were the same size and we were not told that they wouldn’t come out together. Although the food was fine it was overpriced for what it was.
D. O. C.
Simple food done really well. Can't fault it. Been a few years since I was here but they're still doing the job well. Really enjoyed it and very nice staff too
B. H.
The food was nice but its not tapas any more. Someone really needs to visit spain if theyare going to call it tapas. A plate of potates is not a starter, poor effort. The staff were lovely, but really a 12.5 % service charge I will never be back again after almost 20 years of visiting the place. Disappointing.
A. L.
Tapas, first of all, doesn't look like starter and main... Sorry. To me tapas is a selection of small portions of different dishes, and at this place it was one small and one large tapas per dinner. which has no difference between starter and main in any other restaurant. And what's this new rule for limited time dining?Y cannot relax and enjoy at all. Very big thanks to musicians, they really make the atmosphere.
J. W.
Hvjore our Croatian Server was impeccable with humour, personality and detail of cleaning the tables and fixing a dish that was slightly over cooked. He really made the experience that I already love from The Market bar even more fabulous. Food was spot on too. Everything is cooled to perfection. And the place is looking so well over the past few years... I love the vibes here. Super casual and excellent service.
G. C.
Place is quite nice, good size portions and good food in general. Prices match other restaurants in city centre. Menu is limited and the service was no that good even though it was not even full.
R. W.
Food was ok. It's not real tapas, you get a small tapas and a large tapas which is really a starter and a main.
12.5% gratuity is a bit much. They could put their high prices to use and pay their staff better.
M. M.
Used to love drinking here 20 years ago. It's changed a bit but still a great place... They play music now 😉. Food is very good staff are friendly and accommodating.

The decor, ambience and space are great!!! We had a buggy with us and were finding it difficult to fit in to most of the small restaurants in Dublin City so we were so pleased when we arrived at Market Bar. Very child friendly (they offer crayons and a paper to colour on) and adult friendly (funky contemporary vibe). The big let down though is the food. We’ve been twice because we love the atmosphere but both times the food has been really mediocre and some dishes tasteless. So would definitely return but just for a drink.
C. S.
Great bar with an extensive cocktail list- passionate bartenders serving delicious drinks- DJ in the front bar playing throwback tunes and had a singer and pianist in the main room too. Well worth a stop off!!
A. B.
for me, I tried the whiskey tasting it was a great evening. the noisy atmosphere of the restaurant makes way for this tasting at a private place where a person is there for us to explain the diversity the origin the taste and to make us discover the whiskey. thank you for this beautiful evening of exchange sharing it was great. go there and test!
D. C.
We were 5, the presentations are lovely, most part of the food is nice, desserts aren't but the presentation looks so yummy! The forgot to serve 2 meals. In Ireland is not normal that they ask you for tips and they did (not in the best mood). Atmosphere is really nice!
G. F.
Great selection of tapas served quickly and in a friendly manner. The portions are huge so a full happy belly is guaranteed. The food is very good except for the chicken wings unfortunately, they really weren't good. Not a bit of crisp them, in fact they felt a bit slimy. Not a problem though as the waiter was quick to take them away and didn't charge for them. The Patatas Bravas were another story however. They were mouth wateringly good, my new favourite. I can only imagine though how much better they'd be with chorizo included or as an option.
You will not be sorry with a stop off here. There's a great selection of food and drink and a secret door that gives you access to the best cocktails in Dublin. The bill won't ruin your evening either!!
A. M.
Lovely tapas restaurant! The food was delicious, very prompt service and the staff were friendly. I ordered the chicken wings and market bar meatballs. I can recommend these. Only downside is the music was too loud and was blaring as we ate so we could hardly hear each other. Would definitely come back again.
D. A.
Amazing food, very nice staff. Definitely recommend.
D. G.
Nice environment on a Friday night but the food was a bit disappointing. Not very Spanish, way too many different flavours in one dish. And huge portions. Don't expect real tapas.
J. O.
Really good for groups. Tasty food and great atmosphere. Covid precautions being observed and the environment felt very safe. Highly recommend!
D. B.
Very cramped seating due to covid requirements. Food was overpriced for what we got. Service was very slow especially with the drinks ordered. Staff where very polite and when we complained about the seating they moved us as soon as they could which was much appreciated. I wouldn't rush back!!
S. B.
Must visit when in Dublin! This tapas house has it right. Housed in a cool warehouse with a great atmosphere, we were all taken back at how good this place was. (Full house on a Tuesday night)
The menu is limited but everything we had was tasty and good value. We over ordered because we’re wasn’t aware of the portion sizes. The waiter wasn’t in any hurry to tell us we’d ordered too much (which was disappointing).
We tried a variety of dishes from prawns, calamari, nachos, beetroot salad, feta salad, chicken skewers, breads, chorizo, steak, potatas bravos, croquettes to name a few.
Safe to say we were full and no surprise that we left food as there was so much. Not only had we ordered too much but the portion sizes were more small plates than tapas as I know it.
All in all definitely visit when in Dublin, order small amounts often and enjoy the buzz of a great venue.
J. S.
A good looking place with busy but kind waiters. Drinks are incredible!
Not everything on the menu was available, which seemed wierd, but food was very high quality. Food was delivered at very different times around our table.
The acoustics in here are BAD! it's very loud
Ž. M.
Really professional and kind staff! Food is tasty, coffee the best in this area. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended! ☺️
B. K.
Very central location in the heart if the city. Buzy basement bar. Comfortable, well kept and well equipped. Good venue for groups - tables can be reserved. Great selection of cocktails and whiskies. Table service. Staff are quite clinical - not warm and friendly. Live jazzy band on most Saturday nights with a bit of dancing.
T. K.
Really nice place, staff and service. The food wasnt so great in my opinion. Dried up Chicken skewers and dried up rice.
S. W.
Lovely little spot. The interior is nice and bright but not too much so for a bar. Staff are friendly and they serves great tapas style food there. Alternatively you can visit many of the local eateries as it's a very Central location. Very popular place with the office crowd. Great place to wind down after work or for dinner with friends in the weekends. Weekend tend to be busy so get there early if you want to get a table.
L. M.
Lovely whiskey tasting experience !
Got the offer on Groupon for premium whisky tasting for 2, and it's definitely worth it. Loved the Whisky selection I had (4 different Redbreast).
The tasting happens in a secluded room (that takes maybe 10 people at most) so away from the noise of the crowded bar; the waitress was very nice too.
The only thing I would have appreciated would have been if everyone was a bit less loud in that little room to keep it's mysterious of a speakeasy ambiance.
Strongly recommended experience !
F. R.
Amazing ambience, friendly staff, cold pints 🍻
E. K.
Amazing staff, food and location. Spanish tapas a little pricey but the service and food are first class. Es perfecto!
S. F.
Food standard and service are usually good, but the outdoor dining option of the off- street, large, roofed stone floored yard is a wee bit rough
A.
Very good food! The service was a bit slow and asked for the tip during payment. Loved the place and there is an awesome spot upstairs to get a drink!
S. P.
The place is really nice and original. The food was good, on the expensive side but enjoyable. The staff is nice and polite.
P. F.
My favorite place where I can have tapas and drinks. Cheap and very good quality. Total recommended.
A. O.
Food was really good but the service annoyed me. Really in your face. They couldn't get us out of the place fast enough.
E. B.
Expensive for type of food they serve and gratuity at 12.5% also too much. Patrons should have a choice in how much they wish to leave as gratuity
C. B.
Good atmosphere food could be vamped up.
C. K.
Outdoor dining is covered, food and drinks are only ok, and overpriced but given it's location I can see why. Staff are perfectly nice and accommodating.
F. b.
Lot of space, but the sound doesn't resonate too much that my hearing problem made me unable to hear my friend's conversation like it's usually the case. Love the decor, the pints as a very reasonable price (5.80 for the black stuff) and the staff very polite. Toilets as clean and the table comfortable.
T. K.
Great location, great food and much more convenient for bigger groups when dining in Dublin.
K. H.
Really cool vibe with great food (tapas). Different location to the traditional and standard pubs in the city
i. M.
Fun and lively atmosphere. Good drinks
B. S.
Went there just for drinks. The place is like a big market hall. So the noise of cutleries and people talking around in other tables will give you a market like vibe. They also have a nice bar upstairs. Staffs were good and polite. Overall, a good place.
E. D.
It's ok. Quite expensive for what it is but it is Dublin I guess. Few good pubs close by.
L. G. M.
Food was quick but reheated. We got tapas and it was a bit tasteless, like it was churned out from assembly line. Expected a lot better. Pint o' Guinness was decent otherwise score would be lower. Service was good.
J. D.
Amazing experience! Was a regular customer prior to Covid-19 and felt that the new layout and atmosphere is even better than before. The stain glass perspex screens and snugs really gives you the privacy to enjoy your company, but also experience the atmosphere around you.
The food itself was lovely as usual, and the cocktails were equally enjoyable.
As a H&S professional, the standards employed were 10/10, and I never once felt nervous.
It was such an enjoyable experience that I was able to forget about Covid-19 for the whole duration.
Will return soon.
C. L. F.
delicious food with great music. we ate some shrimp and a salmon with potatoes that were divine. definitely will come back next time i'm in Dublin.
N. D.
The place has a nice vibe to it, the food isn't all too expensive considering how big the portions are. I went on a weekday and was told that the kitchen closes at 10PM.
S. J.
I loved this place! The wings were incredible. Would love to come back.
S. R.
Busy place with friendly service, tapas not soaked in oil... definitely worth a visit
M. M. B.
Very good Tapas! And a remarkable Pork Belly. Everything in a modern, factory-style atmosphere.
R. v. W.
Nice lunch menu, large portion. Friendly service.
C. H.
Have been there twice. Please read conditions of booking, I didnt realise for dinner there is a min spend requirement of 23 euro. Safety and hygiene very good, but I wont be returning as you cannot really order what you like, requirement is 1 small and 1 large tapas per person, so you can imagine if its 3 or 4 people its alot of food.
Y. L.
Such a good restaurant I really had a good time ! Sangria was really lovely!
M. K.
Must try their chicken wings! Possibly one of the top 5 I’ve ever had!
Y. M.
Great location, nice and spacious, food/drinks are reasonably priced. Come visit for a taste of Irish cuisine.
M. A.
The service was fantastic! Ana was our waiter for the afternoon, she did an excellent job, the food was great and atmosphere was lovely, very friendly staff and quick service.
M. O.
The cocktails were good. The food was really not great and overpriced. The vegan option is a shambles, our friend paid €23 for 4 or 5 padron peopers and 4 tiny vegetable skewers. We asked 4 or 5 times for patatas bravas without sauce, our poor waiter had to argue with the guy running the pass, and in the end we got them after we were given the bill. Only certain staff could take orders, but the staff that could take orders were run off their feet. There was a mandatory gratuity, which we paid, but it wasn't worth it. It was poor overall.
R. T.
One of my favorite places in Dublin. It’s good, wholesome tapas as compared to the others like Las Tapas de Lola. Can’t go wrong with the patata bravas, the croquette, the gambas and the calamari. Dishes are tasty, good quantity for tapas and lovely ambience
Z. R.
Incredible place. Just on small door could lead you in a such place like that..
The staff are happy and very kindly.. we loved being there. ❤👌
M. 0.
Great staff, beautiful tapas, an all round pleasant experience!
J. A.
The place is very cozy and the "lunch special" menu is convenient! For dinner a reservation is highly recommended.
J. M.
Really good Tapas. Love the open plan and high ceilings.
N. 2. P.
Very good atmosphere, the service was quite good and the food was delicious. Had a great time with my friends.
D. Ó. R.
Was always a fan of Market bar's quality of food and Tapas, but their versatility and professionalism in how they have dealt with Covid restrictions have brought them to a new level. Currently my favourite place to go for a bite and a few drinks in Dublin. Well done to all at this time
L. T.
We've been coming here for years as the place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with great wheelchair accessibility & lots of floor space. Tapas is our favourite food but v disappointed to be charged €9.50 for a glass of red wine. The new wooden partition running along the restaurant floor opposite the bar ruins the layout of the place. The original floor plan looked better.
P. P.
Could not recommend this place enough. The staff were very polite and friendly. The food was really tasty. Only downside was no kids menu even though I was advise on facebook messenger there was.
M. C.
The food is nice, but tapas are not very big, you'd need at least 2 per person. Some of the big tapas were rather small and overpriced. The cocktails are great and the staff is nice.
J. G.
Beautiful with lot of space. Well decorated. Friendly staff. I recommend passing by (even if this is a pricy place). Also possible to have whiskey testing.
E. H.
Nice and cozy place to hang out with friends...be patient getting the drinks though 😄
D. S.
Tapas bar. Great ambiance and feel! You should try the nachos!!
R. M.
The staff was beautiful, no I mean literally beautiful, it was a all female staff on, they were very friendly. The service was nice as well. I got the bangers and mash which was delish, I usually get the meatballs which is delightful too. It's good for a single, couples, or big groups. 😋😘
P. J.
Good place to have tapas. The food is delicious and the choice is great. The place wasn't crowded during early afternoon on a Saturday, but it tends to be busy in the evening. It gets quite loud then as it is one huge hall.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, there are highchairs and some toys to keep the kids occupied.
I'm looking forward to visiting next time.
K. W.
Food is good, however only went in for drinks and due to covid restrictions bought as requirement. Looked to purchase small tapas - Nachos €8, and Potato Bravas €4.50 to meet €9 requirements however when i placed my order staff advised this was not a "substantial meal" and i was forced into buying a large tapas for €16. Disappointing as feel bar is taking advantage of current restrictions.
M. P.
Good variety of food, especially Tapas. Good Service
P. O.
Great atmosphere and delicious tapas!
G. O.
I found the food to be very tasty especially the chicken wings and cheese and ham croquettes. I was disappointed in the service and very expensive prices. My friend asked for a non alcoholic beer for which he was left waiting and we'd to query twice before it arrived then when he ordered a second beer he was brought the wrong one.
It ended up being €130 for 4 of us and would have been €150 plus but as the original desert we ordered tasted soured the price was taken off the final bill. They did however apologise and give us new deserts on the house.
Staff were friendly and in high numbers but attention to detail was lacking.
E. G.
Seafood chowder here is amazing! Portions are small as tapas are meant to be and staff is ok not as friendly as used to be but it’s fine. The place can get very busy from Thursday to Sunday nights worth to make a booking.
L.
Fun spot to go for a date. Had some nice tapas, potato bravos were not my favourite. Would recommend the skewers tho! Little loud, but the service is very good. Quick to get our food and beverages.
a.
Impressed by the coronavirus safety measures they’ve taken, and they’re certainly market leaders for this (hence the 3 stars, as opposed to two), but the food was really really poor. Two people in our group of 6 returned our plates of food. Muscles were slimy, half of them were closed, and the sardines did not taste fresh. They took the meals off our bill, which was appreciated.
A. O.
Food Brill, would have given 5 stars if the beer was better.
R. S.
Great food, all four of us were delighted, reasonably priced, our waitress Patricia was excellent, advising us of the timing of the dishes as we were in a hurry to attend a show. All of the staff were friendly and professional. I will definitely return, hopefully with more time to spend there.
F. A.
Nice place! Food it's okay.
K. S.
The best place for a big group, family with kids for a Sunday lunch. Favourite potatoes with their white sauce.
D. S.
Always great food and good service. Covid precautions include a one-way system through the place and snugs built to keep parties separated. For walk-in patrons, a QR code is available at the street entrance to book a table.
B. M. (.
The bar upstairs away from the eating area is nice and quaint with easy access for the gents bathroom. In terms of the downstairs bar/food area, it's so large it makes you feel like in a medieval great hall feasting after a war.
It's a surreal spot that brings all sorts together and whenever the very infrequent issues arise security is there and politely sorts it out instead of dealing with brute force.
Can't recommend this place more
m. m.
Out of the hustle and bustle of the area. Plenty of space, good selection of beers and wines even though they claim they have no sweet wines because they're out of fashion 🙄 large portions. Beware of the small ones are big enough for two if you think of sharing plates. Loved the vegetarian nachos. Prices in the middle range but very good value for what you get. Some sort of art exhibition on the walls, no idea if permanent or not.
L. M.
High ceilinged open space, serving tapas and small plates. Had a selection of plates - all were good.
J. K.
Went for a Deluxe whiskey tasting in the 'Wsky Bar' at back of Market Bar. Susy was our host. We had two boards - Redbreast and Advance Pot Still. Susy's knowledge, hospitality and generosity made this a great experience. We ate tapas after in the main Bar and the 4 tapas for €19 were v. good, as was the service. Only downer was the price of wine - nothing reasonable!
M. P.
Over the top service! The food came in like 5 minutes after we ordered. Everything was delicious and not so expensive! Ambience is top notch. Definitely gonna go back there. Loved it!
G. O.
Usual high standard of food - tapas menu is really good - and fully compliant with all Covid regulations so it feels safe as well as welcoming. Staff are friendly and helpful and food is soooo good.
B. a. M. F.
Ate here last week. Food delicious. The only complaint was being charged 14euro for a Large Glass of Wine. It was just a generous glass of wine. Why on earth can you charge so much for a Glass of wine. A bottle of the same wine costs 32 euro on the website wine menu.
D. G.
Fairly unique in Dublin for how open the space is. Nice ambiance and was bustling on a Friday night. We got a set menu of tapas as we were a large group which was tasty. Docked a star for how long it took to order 2 drinks at the bar
L. D.
Lovely spot for drinks, but do not get the sangria. It's weirdly cloudy and not enough alcohol for the price, the pitcher was more than half fruit, we barely got 4 small glasses out of a liter. I wouldn't go back for the food, portions were a bit all over the place and the food was good but not as tasty as expected. Nachos are bland, meat and cheese plate is very overpriced for what you get. The prawn dish was the best thing we ate, buttery and cooked very well. The patatas bravas was giant! We ordered a large for 4 people but of could have fed 8. (sort of wish our server had said something)
The atmosphere is wonderful and the building offers a lot of points of interest.

My friends arranged my birthday surprise here and it was exceptional. Prices are slightly above average but the quality and speed is definitely match the price just right! Very attentive even in busy times. I've been there only twice, but happy all the time!
H. M.
Good place for some generous portions of tapas style food! Nice drinks and friendly staff. We went between lunch and dinner service but this didn't detract from the surprisingly relaxed atmosphere. Worth stopping by if you are in the area.
G. Ó. M.
Perhaps one of the best Nacho dishes in Dublin. Get the large plate and share it with a friend. Great venue to have a bite and few beverages with a group of friends. Be sure to book at least a few hours ahead of time. Can get a bit cold and drafty even when full. Could use heaters over the doors to stop drafts .
L. G.
Enjoyable tapas and drinks on Christmas eve.
h. b.
Vast open area bar with high ceilings, Reminds me of the Lowenbrau or the HoffBrau house in Munich. Nice change from the typical small Irish Bar. Great Food. Nice spot to go with a large crowd or on a date. Different kind of pub with a cosmopolitan feel but we need different in Dublin and its nice to know there's a place like the market bar when we fell like a change.
V. C.
Tldr: best nachos👍🏻; chicken wings 👎🏻
It's not a quite place. Go if you're a big group. Not recommended if you want to have a conversation with your respective company. Went on a Friday, so not sure if it's the same on other days.
Had nachos twice here, both times it was great. The chicken wings tasted better the 1st time. Not so much the 2nd time we went. Sangria wine was great last year. Now (10-2019),not so much.
High energy place, great for Crowds.
C. V.
We just discovered this place when we're so hungry, and it didn't disappoint. The service was fast but you have to really call the servers as the place is big. Food tastes great too! Especially the fish stew. For the price, it's best to share with a group so you could order different food and still pay a reasonable amount.
However as filipinos we love eating with rice, which is not that good. If rice is not a priority for you, I highly recommend this place.
T.
I loved the Market Bar, I was a regular there. I went last night however, and was left disappointed. For example, the goats cheese and walnut salad was removed, however the salads that replaced it seemed lackluster, particularly the chorizo salad, mostly made of cabbage, which was brown around the edges, no dressing and very little cheese or chorizo. Has this place changed management or ownership? I’m guessing so due to the decor( cheesy old movie star posters on the walls) Seems like they tried to fix what wasn’t broken and came off worse for it! One a positive the chicken wings were good and the meat skewers!
m. p.
Cool trendy , non poser establishment.
Good service , professional bar staff. Food is a mix of all regions . But it's good food.
Nice selection of beers and wines. Booking a must on weekends. It's a popular place with a regular crowd that are there for the reasons above.
R. O.
Great staff, great cocktails. The Black Market bar upstairs is a great spot for a more intimate setting while the downstairs is good for big groups . Little on the pricey side but not bad for the city centre. You definitely get your money's worth.
T. D.
Excellent for everything, service slow though
D. D.
Great bolt hole in the centre of Dublin, spacious, lively and reasonably priced for the quantity of food received. We decided to go for the early bird special of 2 Tapas & a drink at €17. Large portions arrived, food was excellent, drink satisfactory, atmosphere great. On the down side service was a bit hit & miss, saw some people turning away as they were waiting too ling to be seated & restaurant 1/2 empty.
L. P.
Amazing amazing amazing! We ordered 5 tapas between 3 people really good sized portions. Calamari and gambas pil pil were so juicy and tasty and fresh. The pigs and pots is definitely a show stopper (salivating thinking about it now) the staff are fantastic but my god are they under pressure with the place being full but so helpful and friendly.
A. S.
Visited this on a Sunday after noon for some brunching after a long night out. The food was great and the prices were very on par. My only down fall was that the coffee was extremely strong, almost as if they had put a shot of espresso in it. When I told them I couldn't drink it the waiter took it off my bill! It was gorgeous on the inside and wouldnt look it from the entrance!
L. M.
Very lively, not exactly for date night but great food & staff regardless
V. H.
The food in the Market Bar is always good if not overly inventive. I often frequent the Market Bar as I enjoy a venue with no music every now and again. If you are looking for a place to catch up with friends this is it. A beautiful venue with a lovely atmosphere.
Tips
Not the best spot for vegetarians.
The waiting staff are not very friendly or efficient but a great spot for a drink.
A. K.
Market bar has so much going for it, beautifully decorated, very historic setting, nice ambience and a refreshing lack of TVs make it a great place to meet for a chat. Always lively.
The food however is a bit disappointing. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day but the bread used was supermarket quality processed bread and stale. A small but telling detail. The rest of the food while not terrible didn't compensate.
The very helpful and polite staff did their best but appear to be understaffed. Again, perhaps I visited on a bad day but disappointed.
A. P.
Nice place for lunch, food is nice and quite filling. Very noisy and busy at night but the location is great and the “tapas” (real tapas are only in Spain, sorry) are nice. The bar upstairs is cool and more quiet than the downstairs area
V. M.
perfect place - tapas and beer - five stars
M. N.
Came here last minute on a packed Saturday with no reservation, and they accommodated our huge group immediately! Cosy atmosphere, very spacious, great vibes and some of the friendliest and awesometacular staff I've dealt with in Black Market.
S. F.
Lovely location and atmosphere, lots of headroom and has that authentic Georgian redbrick feel. The food and drink are a bit expensive but good as an in-between spot if you're heading anywhere else in town. It's connected to the Chelsea drug store if you're looking for a cocktail after dinner, and George's arcade if you want to do some daytime market stalls
F. W.
Amazing! Strictly adhered to covid-19 guidelines, everything on the table was sanitised and individually wrapped, staff all wearing masks and socially distancing. Food was delish! Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!
A. R.
Very good food and atmosphere. May be one of our favourite places in the city. The only problem - tiny tables if you come for food and ordered more than 1 course, last time we didn't get a bigger one even there were plenty of them available.
M. P.
Market Bar is a huge open venue. They serve tons of different tapas type plates, but they are larger than normal tapas. But don't be fooled by it, they are delicious! The nachos, the chorizo, the sliders - they are all amazing! They have a nice list of beverages too, with a huge bar inside. If you are walking by this place, make sure to stop in for a quick bite.
M. S.
Very cool place. Been here both a day and night. Tasty food. Everything that came out looked delicious. Great wines too. The interior is large and really well decorated. Definitely worth a visit just to have a look.
A. T.
Came here with our group for dinner and we had a reservation and still had to wait an additional 15mins to be seated. This place was packed on a Friday night and it looks like a very loud open food hall from the inside. The noise level is extremely high here so if you're not planning to talk to your dinner date this is the perfect place. The food was overall good and fresh but not amazing. Our group had ordered a mix of appetizers and entrees. The nachos were just sauce with some spicey jalapenos and barely any cheese. The hummus dips were fresh and a good compliment to the bread. The seafood skewers over the Spanish rice were also alirght. I didn't like how the cheese and meat platter came mixed on one plate as we had some gluten free and non-pork eaters. Overall, it was average food but I guess people go for more of the vibe. They also have a very low lighting bar area upstairs that has more of an intimate setting only lit with candlelight but still noisy.
A. C.
Great vibe. Enjoyed the food.
E. S.
Friendly stuff, reasonable prices, spacious dining hall. Sone of the earlier reviews commended the establishment for not playing music and creating an intimate dining experience. This is no longer true. Huge speakers surround the maun hall. Music is alright right but too loud for my taste.
Food quality is good but a bit inconsistent. Chicken wings are quite good and come in a very generous serving. Calamari also comes in a big plate but ours was atrocious. Almost inedible. We also ordered a few other tapas but portion sizes are almost arbitrary. Ham and cheese croquettes will set you down 9 euro for 4 small pieces of fried cheese (no ham was spotted) while you will pay the same price for a bowl of very well made wings that can actually fill a normal person. And after the disastrous calamari I cannot try any other seafood selection here.
Beer selection is good, house wine is inexpensive but tasted more like it came from a five liter carton box.
Vegetarian selection is limited but offers good value.
All in all a good experience. I blame myself for ordering calamari in a generic gastro pub like this. You cannot expect them to do anything other than deep fry a bag of frozen calamari anyway.
t. v.
An easy and friendly staff very professional a nice atmosphere.
Good selection of tapas to share or to enjoy by Yourself.
The Wine list is a travel around spain.
Superb spirits selection with a whiskey testing board .
Bartenders welcoming and very professional
P. M.
Portion sizes very good and that's just the small option. I've had early bird twice recently. At 17.95 it's great value - includes 2 small options plus glass of beer or house wine. Only gripe is the options for early bird are limited. Can get very busy at times which in turn affects service. All in all a safe choice
P. B.
Mixed time at Market Bar. I came with a few important clients and we had trouble initially as our bartender seemed not to speak English and couldn’t understand what we were saying. My swedish client tried in several Scandanavian laguages, I tried Italian and what Irish I can speak, to no avail. Eventually we were rescued by what can only be described as the best waitress I have ever seen. Very friendly, excellent knowledge of the drinks and (not that it matters) very attractive. We ordered quite a long list of cocktails and she called a colleague over to help who was superb, a bearded man whose name I have forgotten but who seems indispensable to Market Bar. Both chatty and helpful and excellent. All in all a fantastic experience once things got on the right track.
T. S.
This was for sure my favorite bar we visited! The bar had a cool indie vibe. The establishment was very spacious and the mojito’s were well done! Mixed Drinks here were a bit over priced, but there are a great selection of liquor.
I.
Delicious food, laid back atmosphere, and very nice staff. Tapas are larger than in the US so you fo not need to order as many dishes per person.
K. R.
Airy, nice, spacious place in the city centre. During the day and weekends it is very family friendly. Food is solid if unremarkable. Tapas style menu, so it is good for a get-together with lots of sharing plates
S. C.
Nice atmosphere and good service, but food was just alright. Had the Gambas pil pil (prawns), croquettes, and pigs and pots (pork fillet with black pudding) - all tasted fine, but portion for pigs and pots in particular was quite large and a little overwhelming taste-wise. Seems to be a good venue to head to for groups.
D. C.
A great venue to hang out for drinks and a few nibbles. Their tapas menu features a great range of dishes to share. Our host was very friendly as was our server. Our food arrived shortly after being ordered which concerned me, as we ordered 10 different dishes. To my amazement, every dish was delicious, fresh and generously portioned.
They've moved the gents toilet upstairs, which is a hike everytime nature calls. Had they left it downstairs, we would have stayed longer. Other than that, we loved The Market Bar.
S. C.
I love this space. It's spacious and open and the atmosphere is vibrant. The food is good and they have a full bar and some yummy waiters. The service can be hit or miss though.
K. F.
Great experience, service with a smile, attentive, brought sun to our rainy day
C. W.
Great food, and great drinks. Service was excellent. They have several neighboring bars within close proximity all under the Market Bar ownership, they take their drinks seriously and they were delicious, highly suggest exploring, ask your server where to go.
Y. L.
A good place to meet up with colleagues or friends, not noisy, as you can choose far table, not bored, as they have life music and DJ after 10.
Even during these days service is good.
N. L.
Excellent food and generous portions with downstairs restaurant and bar and uostairs for drinks. Main issue is that the menu is tastefully restrained in its options (which some people will like) and focuses on tapas style food. The main drawback os that the waiters are overwhelmed and speed of service suffers as a result. They also can get pretty upset by that, which is when their professional facade cracks and they get snappy. Otherwise good food and good drink menu.
K. F.
Nice place if you like to enjoy your happy hour. It is crowed and you have to wait to be seated. Service is really good and efficient. Snacks are not expensive and the menu has good options. Highly recommend.
H. R.
Lively atmosphere and good food. Large tapas portions. Great atmosphere for groups and parties. Drinks only bar upstairs. Not a place to go for a quiet, intimate meal though.
G. H.
Very good experience, with food and wine on a late afternoon
D. W.
Lovely atmosphere. We had a fantastic server. The food was all amazing. Would go back to try as a smaller party next time
M. O.
Food was good, particularly the ham and cheese croquettes, which was my favorite dish! The chicken and chorizo skewers were okay too. Atmosphere was interesting, and the old warehouse feel was pretty cool.
S. T.
Great Pub that is bright and airy. The tapas here are great but just to be warned, the large Tapa wouldn't be considered a Tapa in my opinion, it would be a meal in itself.... in saying that go for the large Nachos, extra Jalapenos.
C. L.
Nice place to meet friends and drink wine. It's 'tapas' but the portions are huge. I recommend the salads. Atmosphere can be a bit cold sometimes given the space is huge.
J.
One of my favorite places to take friends when they're visiting to prove that you can also eat cheap in Dublin. The Market Bar serves deliciously prepared tapas style dishes for an extremely fair price for very gentle portions. It's extremely crowded during weekend nights which is a bit annoying as you can't pre-book and when you get there both the downstairs bar as well as the "Black Market Bar" upstairs tend to be full. Still, I'd say it's worth the wait.
One thing to note is that I really miss the steak they used to serve with oven-gratin potatoes. Please bring back this dish Market Bar!!!
M. B.
The food is good, the staff is very friendly and the space is very nice. The place gets really full during the evening and you may have to wait in line for a little bit to get a table.
j. K.
Got chicken skewers, fish skewers, beetroot & walnut salad and nachos. Chicken skewers were a bit bland. Fish skewers with the rice was delicious. So was the salad and nachos. Serving sizes are large and will leave you stuffed. The surroundings are great. Can get a bit backed later on but atmosphere is great.
A. R.
Great atmosphere and very enjoyable dining experience, perfect for the times you need to catch-up with friends over dinner. Tip: We shared a cured meat/cheese/olive starter (€13) + 6 large tapas (€12 each) between 6 people and it was too much to eat - would recommend starter + 0.75 large tapas per person :-)
D. B.
O I'm loving this place. Staff are very friendly. Food is so good. The venue is just perfect. Love it love it. Great place to catch up. No TV or music so the art of conversation definitely happens here.
C. Y.
A recommendation for hanging out after work when in Dublin. The ambiance, the food and Irish ☘️ drinks, everything was awesomely cool 😎
W. B.
What a top place this is. Only discovered this by accident as I popped in to avoid the rain and what a great setting and atmosphere this place has. The food being served looked great and I wish I had known about this place prior to my visit to Dublin. Definitely one to book for next time.
R. V.
Go for tapas and a nice cocktail upstairs! You won't regret :)
Food is very good, and drinks aren't incredibly overpriced (you know, to be in Temple Bar). It's kinda hard to get a place, but if you go upstairs you might find any even in peak times.
J. B.
The atmosphere and decor are great as it the location. Food was excellent as was the service. What disappointed in my view was the very uncomfortable bench seating. I ws leaning forward and backwards trying to get comfortable after only a few minutes. Worth a visit but avoid the benches at all costs.
K. G.
I love this place for lateish drinks on a Friday or Saturday. Still has a great buzz without being jammed to the walls. Friendly staff and prompt service keep me returning! Fab nibbles if you're looking to eat as well.
E.
They do great food. They do the kind of food that is good for a group - filling and affordable with lots of choice. They have plenty of veggie options (which I am not but this has persuaded my veggie friends to dine here). It's a great lil spot for a date or with friends and you WILL leave full. The only thing is that the service can be a bit ''meh''. I know one waiter in particular who has always been so nice to me over the last 6 years but the others seem to go on what type of day they're having. Having said that, I always bring people here who have never been and they leave happy. They are a bit put off by the ''tapas'' thing if they're starving but fear not, these small plates aren't so small. Check out the 2 plates and a drink early bird from 5-7 for around 17 quid.
P.
Have only ever been here for beers. It is a busy after work venue. Good always looks good so my next visit will be to try that. Good selection of beer and cocktails. Chilled out vibe.
K. L.
Great food and great staff.
G. B.
Great setting. The food here is amazing. If you are in a group of about 6 I recomend the sharing menu. More than enough food for everyone served tapas style.
D.
Yummy, awesome food, nice interior, fancy dishes. A really great tapas bar and the food was delicious. Service was okay, average Dublin friendliness.
I. M.
Good cocktails and food!
J. O. B.
This is a vast space. I'm not a fan of vast spaces where bars or restaurants are concerned but this is one I really like. Swathed in redbrick with a massively vaulted ceiling and comfy seats. It is a little cavernous but the decor appeals to me. The tapas style food is quite good too though not spectacular. I fear however it may too big for the money it generates. I'd say it costs a fortune to heat in the winter;-)
M. R.
If you’re unsure about dining out during Covid, these guys have the perfect set up.
Great good, great service, great sangria & felt so safe.
K.
Really good food and social distancing is done very well here. I don't think I've seen a restaurant in Dublin with a better system for reopening after lockdown.
S. P.
We only wanted drinks, so we had a choice to sit at the bar on ground level (not at a table, but actually sitting at the bar) or the upstairs bar, which has tables.
Prices are right in line with Dublin's beer collusion practices, which means they are 6€ per pint. Atmosphere was just average. Nothing special.
L. P.
Delicious food, but service can't keep up with the amount of customers. Also, no music, and the acoustics makes it impossible to have a normal conversation. Still, despite the set backs, great ambiance and the tapas are second to none.
C. K.
Whiskey bar is nice and cosy although you get the sense that it is a converted storage room. They are very good at making cocktails in the bar upstairs. Very open and this noisy.
L. S.
The food is perfect and decor is great, but I don't go out of my way to go there because it's just so LOUD. The high ceilings make the sound echo and on a busy night it's deafening. On the flip side when it's not busy it feels very empty and cold.
E. H.
Super fun vibes, good food. Only thing is you have a time limit on your table, so you have to leave even if you aren't ready. So the whole meal feels kind of rushed. But still a cool spot
S. J.
Whose in the bag? Must be some famous person. Brilliant night thanks to the piano man
J. T.
This is a nice bar and has a great athmosphere. I have not eaten here but it seems very popular as a place to eat. A young vibrant crowd with good music.
l. r.
Waiter was fantastic, good service
A. G.
Food was tasty but nothing really special. Fair prices. Staff was friendly. Big place, nice atmosphere. Good for big groups. Good selection of beers.
K. O.
Been here a few times. Service varies and not extremely friendly but rushed. It’s loud so kinda not a great place for tapas and catch up. All that been said good is reasonably priced and it’s a nice layout.
P. L.
Tasty, if stodgy tapas, much of which is reasonably priced. Good atmosphere and great for groups, although be prepared to queue. Try the calamari, meatballs and bravas!
L. L.
Great place for larger groups! Food portion sizes are very decent, but not too special. Price quality is good. Love the market place sorta atmosphere.
P. B.
Great food, great atmosphere and best service thanks to waitress Bania(or Vania) I'm not sure how to spell her name but she was the nicest waitress and most efficient I've come across during my time in Dublin and my friends and I were very impressed with the service. Definitely going back.
Q. T. (.
Definitevly recommend the Whiskey tasting downstairs
D. K.
Big place with loads of tables. Good for dinner. Good for groups. If there is the option go for the large portion, much more worth the money. But prices are not expensive
T. H. M.
Great food, fair price. Tapas style food, really big portions. The decor of this place is lovely, very old building, brick walls. Huge indoors smoking are with a bar in it.
N. K.
Great atmosphere and amazing food
C. A.
Nice place if you want to have some tapas and drinks. It's big and has additional space at the first floor, but it's often crowded. The old building it's very charming too.
A. K.
Possibly my favorite place in Dublin to eat. Being half Spanish I can tell what good Spanish food tastes like and this is the real deal. The portion sizes are huge for the price. Good selection of beers and the setting makes it what it is.
C. R. M.
Great Bar, got atmos, defo better places for tapas but the selection ain't bad for a bar. Does the trick. Good for groups. Kid friendly during the day. Not that I have any. I've just noticed.
T. S.
Great big space. Family friendly. Good tapas tto
E. D.
Very friendly staff ;)
L. H.
Great service 👏 good food 👌
L. F.
Easy place to go for grabbing a bite and predrinks before heading out. Staff there is friendly, we didnt have to make a reservation. They do serve different tapas as well as salads and a wide range of alcoholic beverages.
P. K.
Best tapas place in town. You will pay a little bit more than normal but you will get tasty food, fast service, great atmosphere and huge portions. I highly recommend it for tapas and drinks!
P. S.
Food was good but expensive for what we got. Great atmosphere and drinks though
J. S.
Stopped in for lunch and order three portions of tapas and a half litre of house red. It was quite when we were there and we found that the service was quick and efficient. A nice spot to eat
T. R.
Big food hall, with a very impersonal service. You order, the food gets out in no time and you pay the bill. Food is of nice quality and fairly priced. You won't have a special dining experience here, but it's a good place for a quick and cheap dinner.
A. R.
This huge pub, nightclub, restaurant is well worth a visit. It has much to offer, exciting Tapaz selection, good nightclub, excelant bar with a fine selection of cocktails, wines and spirits especially gin ans whiskey. Indeed I would recommend trying the whiskey tasting very reasonable with terrific selection of whiskey. I would avoid going early evening on thursdays and fridays as the place can be heaving.
M. A. R.
The market bar is really prepared for this new way to serving after Covid. The food was amazing as always. Bookings with estimated time .
A. Y.
Good music and nice drinks.
K. S.
4 stars for a really, really cool venue in a great location. The food is above average, not fantastic. Sangria is great! It's a fun place for a dinner with friends.
A. M.
Great place to enjoy with friends. Menu has different options for everybody and the food is delicious. My recommendation the fish stew, 100% recommended
P. D.
Busy atmosphere recreates the sounds of the namesake market. Reasonably priced tapas with a good selection. Seasonal changes to the menu keep it from getting stale. Excellent spot for some weekend lunch.
P. J.
Great place to meet as bigger group of friends as they have long tables. Good food, and long bar with lots of beer taps. Not far away from city centre in a nice surrounding.
J. S.
Nice food, let down somewhat by poor service - some drinks that never arrived but ended up on the bill and had to ask for dessert twice.
K. K.
Jeff was our waiter, polite and patient, food was delish, will come back
M. O.
Food was very good, great quality and good variety. Early bird great value. Beer was expensive otherwise. Place was busy, even early in the week, booking recommended.
F. T. O. S.
Booked for a group with set menu and requested for vegetarian options but there was only nachos and batatas bravas. There some cheese but some of the vegetarians on the table, also do not eat cheese. A bit upsetting bit the food ia always good there.
S. B.
Very spacious bar in the centre of Dublin. Great range of tapas and a really good selection of draught beers too. Visitied in the day but imagine this would be a great venue for meeting up in the evening too.
L. M.
Buzzy atmosphere. Tastey food. Good portions for tapas (careful the large is very large!!). Perhaps a little pricey bit recommend overall
N. N.
Too crowded, busy staff, felt like disturbing them as guests. Did not want to stay longer than the time we needed to eat up. It was very loud and guests were almost sitting on each other's laps. Even though the food was not that extraordinary.
L. F.
Food is just great!! Love the place
F. S.
Very cool place: former indoor market converted into a restaurant/bar. Check the bar upstairs (very cozy!). After your meal have a cocktail at the Chelsea Drugstore.
Only downside: very noisy.
O. D.
Cattle mart. Food is pretty good and good selection of drink but dont know how people stick the noise. I know that makes me sound like an old man but really not the most pleasant place for a meal
T. V.
Good food and drinks, nice to go with friends. Also, great set up for covid-19 and staff were excellent.
s.
Cool location, looks like an ex-industrial factory. Great atmosphere due to large open space and high ceilings.
Enjoyed the fish stew/chowder.
Would revisit
G. M.
Favourite restaurant in Dublin due to the quality of tapas and the venue.. staff could be a bit more welcoming however.. I've been there maybe 8+ times and will be back many more times to come!!
N. T.
They have dealt with the covid situation very well and it was well set up. Very strict on the 105 mintue rule. Food was nothing spectacular.
D. D.
Market Bar is good for big groups but personally not go there for more intimate groups.
The acoustic is extremely bad, food is ok but atmosphere is cool (again, for big groups)
A. D.
This is a big cavernous place, serving tasty tapas that are reasonably priced. It's good for groups and families. The staff are nice and it has a kids menu.
E. F.
It's good, you find these dry fruits, sunglasses and many more.
D. I.
Excellent service, delicious food
A.
Great atmosphere and food at a reasonable price, especially considering the price of food in the area. I tried the deep fried calamari, which was very delicious dipped in the tartar sauce!
A. M.
Very particular place, good food options and the Early Bird Menu (12-7pm) is a very good option, because most of the places in Dublin close the kitchen after 2pm, above all on Sundays.
N. P.
It was excellent .... the food amazing & the social distancing very good as we were in a boot - GREAT MEAL & EXPERIENCE 😃
A. D.
Nice selection of Tapas on the menu. Love the big style room and service is pretty quick.
P. B.
the menu has gotten smaller especially for coeliac like me. the dish of prawns and salmon in a chilli lime sauce was brilliant. It would improve the menu
V. M.
Love the food in this spot. The menu is limited but it's great for tapas type environment. Really quick service too.
R. A.
Lively, spacious bar and restaurant. Sumptuous and generous food portions and overall the place had great vibes. Definitely recommend for work evening out or friends catch up
J. B.
Food is good. Quite expensive but good as a treat. Love the vibe here, quite chilled and a great place for a date or groups.
P. Z.
Loved this place. We went for tapas and a Guinness, the place is a great bar with a good bar food and service.
Great start for a night out in Dublin!
B. F.
Not a bad spot at all at all. No background music so on the rare occasions when you might need a girly chat, with handsome midweek office working men-folk around, this place is ideal and less poncy than the place across the road. Watch out for the cattle grid before the bar. It is there for historical reasons and defo not for high-heel addicts. The price of the food is very reasonable, and the amount you get served is very substantial for one's tiny tummy. As a whole, the place is super (and you can always bring your iPod and dance in the loo's if you are so inclined).
J. S.
Great atmosphere, very busy on weekend evenings. Food was overall good, nothing amazing.
A. R.
Not my "cup of tea". Its always noisy and lacks atmosphere. But the booze and service is good. Have not eaten here, I'll leave that to you, enjoy.
N. H.
Great location with nice food. The entrance is a little hidden but the venue itself is incredible. Great for large groups
T. B.
Haven't had food here yet so can't judge that but the atmosphere and the staff were great even let me take photos on my wedding day
E. W.
Great atmosphere and really enjoyable food. I look forward to my next visit
S. B.
Its a great Casual dining place. Food is simple and delicious. great selection to share. Its very open spaced and a great place for dinner or weekend lunch.
M. C.
What's most amazing about this bar is the sheer size, it's similar to a German beer hall. After that it's just a bar! It leads out to a really cool cocktail bar called Chelsea Drugstore.
G. L.
The food wasn't great, wasn't hot when arrived. Not great selection of Spanish beers.
D. P.
Both food and drink were excellent. There was quite a long wait for the food which was annoying but the serving staff were very friendly.
L. P.
Amazing interior, amazing food! The place is huge and packed with people. Nonetheless high service quality and delicious tapas. Recommend!
P. M. (. i. H.
Great food and drink. Staff are very helpful. Cork city is alive and beautiful.
A. M.
Good atmosphere & design but often crowded and very noisy. The service can be quite slow and the tapas aren't that special - the goat cheese toasts are very good :)

Tapas bar...Great if your in a hurry. Have early bird deal here which is good value. Can sit large groups. Big and airy place.

Fantastic place for food. Great set up for covid-19 and staff were excellent. 👍

The large hall gets noisy and the food is nothing special. Although there's a cool pub upstairs/ above the main hall.

Good place, went upstairs for drinks. Got a bit crowded early in the night but cleared out a little afterwards. Decent selection of spirits and good atmosphere.

A big and very noisy place: weekend booking essential for avoiding disappointment. Not a huge tapas menu, but services is very quick and meaatballs very tasty

With the new dividers for social distancing the place is like a maze. No atmosphere. I hope it's not a permanent fixture.

Nice atmosphere. Great food. Tapas style. Presentation could use a little help. Very tasty. Vibrant bar scene.

The best plate is patatas bravas, They got the same sauce like in Spain! Awesome !! They have a good deal with the costumer.

Great place. Lovely food. Very loud surroundings tho but that’s because it’s so popular 👍🏻

Nice large high ceiling large open bar. No music playing here is actually great, most pubs play awful music anyway. Good drink selections.

Love sitting outside in the alley way in this place - great for a pre dinner drink or casual meet up with friends after work. They do tapas inside too and have a bar upstairs.

beautiful place and excellent food, customer service and drinks + they show the 6 nations Irish games on an enormous screen...what more could you ask for!

Food is great, a little on the pricey size. When booking an area they don't tend to provide enough room / seats

Great food but hard to get a table. Extremely good value and food quality is excellent. Great buzz and vibrancy about the place.

Really nice place to go for a drink and a bite to eat in the city centre. Decorated unusually but very tastefully. Fancy but unfussy.

One of the places which you would consider as "usual" to go for food, drinks or just to have a fine time with friends or guests who visit Dublin. Highly recommended.

Food is a bit bland. Quick service but the staff keep hovering which ruins the atmosphere a bit

Amazing food
Went back in August once it reopened and the setup for Covid restrictions were great

A good place but tapas isn't very good and cocktails are expensive. I would go back but prefer other places.

Service was friendly but slow. Hostess was quite ride on arrival. Food was very good and were very large portions.

Good food. Plenty of tables and great location. It was quiet for lunch time which was a nice surprise.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the setting.
We just drank a glass so we didn't try the restaurant.
The choice of beers and ciders is classic

Quite nice food, usually a very busy place with a good atmosphere. The service was pretty bad the last couple of times I was there though.
