d. g.More of a quantity over quality kind of place, food was ok, very salty and cheesy. Bruschetta and salads were good. Very loud, clientele in tracksuits, made it feel more like a casual night out in Nandos than an Italian restaurant experience. Staff were very friendly and were the highlight of the experience.

M. L.Go eat here and have a wonderful evening if you like genuine Italian food. For starters I had the calamari which was very tasteful. The cannelloni I had as the main dish was wonderfully prepared. And the profiteroles I had as desert were definitely delicious.
The restaurant consist of an up- and downstairs area. We sat near the bar in the back, upstairs. It’s a bit crowded and not very spacious but we didn’t mind this, it added to the nice and cozy atmosphere.
Wine selection is great. The service is very good and fast and thoughtful even though the whole restaurant was packed with customers.
Yeah definitely recommended!

E. H.We knew we had to go here when we seen “suppli” on the menu as we had gotten those in Italy before and they are beaut. We were not disappointed, the food was really authentic and delish. Plenty of vegetarian options and very reasonably priced. The staff were really attentive and gave good wine recommendations🍷
The fact they grow most of their ingredients themselves is cool and you can tell how fresh everything is, the salads in particular were amazing. I loved the interior so nice for a date night and the Italian music really sets the mood.

P. C.What can you say except BRAVO !!! The food is perfect, but would emphasize the atmosphere in the restaurant itself, which was intimate, romantic despite the fact that the restaurant was full.
I enjoyed the conversation with my wife all the time, while the waiter Angelo-Claudio made sure that everything was on time, and that we didn't miss anything.
Now, Angelo-Kaludio is a special story, this man has a sense of time and place, you don't have to say anything, he seems to read thoughts and is simply a connoisseur of his work, all praise to him who brought service and advice to perfection.
In general, we now have our favorite in Italian cuisine both for us and for our guests, because Tuscana deserves it.
S. K.This is a lovely small restaurant right in the heart of Dublin, yet I had never heard of it! We visited the restaurant on an evening spent in Dublin city for my mother's birthday. We live just outside the city and will definitely be back following the delicious food and the fantastic service! We had a straightforward meal, without delay or disruption!
K. M.Lively place, great staff and really good Italian food. Even my vegan companion loved the food. Starters were lovely, from bruschetta to salad...all large portions. Mains were excellent, cannelloni, vegetarian lasagne, vegan pizzas, and more. All fresh, tasty and ample. Only two of us ordered desserts, and equally good. A truly sublime, wobbly panacotta, and profiteroles drowning in chocolate sauce. We rolled out.

I. I.Food was extremely delicious, especially the seafood linguine, is the best one I've ever had. My company had the lasagne and they loved it too. Portions were big enough, the pinot grigio and Aperol spritz were lovely too. Friendly service. Would highly recommend!

We were seated downstairs near the kitchen and the seats were pretty cozy. We started off with Zuppa Del Giorno and Zuppa Ribollita Soups. For the main, we had Lasagne Vegetariana and Pollo Limone. And for dessert we had Tiramisu.
The portions were good and every dish came out great. The service was pretty prompt as well.

From the moment myself and my husband went in we had a lovely pleasant young lady Aleyna(I think was her name) gave us excellent service. Also Angelio who I think was in charge as he ran a very smooth operation ensuring that we where ok throughout our night. Then for the food fabulous, stunning would highly recommend it. R. M.If you want Italian food in Dublin - come here! The lasagna and cannelloni were amazing, the sauce had so much flavor and pasta was cooked perfectly. Tiramisu was rich and just a hint of liqueur. Toscana also had the most friendly and attentive wait staff that we have experienced in Ireland. 10/10 would recommend and return.
K. L.I was able to book the night before through their website, the whole process was very easy. It is a lot larger than it looks from the outside, quite a labyrinth downstairs! However the tables are quite tightly packed together which made it feel a bit cramped. The staff were friendly and attentive so we didn't have to wait to order or get the bill. Our mains were brought out very quickly which would be great for anyone in a rush before a show. The pasta was excellent and would definitely order again. I was a little disappointed with the dessert options (many of them were just variations of gelato with biscotti and booze) and the gelato was just normal ice cream, not as smooth and creamy as gelato shops. But overall I'd recommend it and go back again myself.

B. S.Our waitress was great. The maitre d' was absolutely dreadful from start to finish, to the point of being creepy. We were there for a family celebration which was somewhat marred by his repeated odd remarks. When we arrived he haughtily told us that he had called us "more than 10 times" to confirm the booking. Not one of us had received a call. Perhaps the number given was wrong - I can't say at this point, but the attitude definitely was.
For some inexplicable reason, the maitre d' would only deal with my sister. He brought 3 drinks menus for a 10 person table and when I asked for one, told me "I had to drive the ladies home". It might have been a funny joke if he had eventually brought another menu, but he didn't.
After we had ordered but before any food arrived he approached the table, this time to tell my sister that he "remembered her" from having been there before. She had previously been to the restaurant once on a date, and did not appreciate having it brought up in front of her entire family.
This set the tone for the rest of our dinner. We cleared our plates and glasses to one end of the table so as to make it easier for the wait staff to collect, but also to move them further from my sister who had been made so uncomfortable by the maitre d' thusfar. She even went so far as to move seat so that she would not be on the corner he had to approach from.
Surprise surprise, the maitre d' decided rather than to collect the plates and cutlery from the most convenient side, he would go around the side of the table and reach over my sister.
Obviously I can't speak to the man's intentions, but either the guy is a complete creep or he is so incapable of reading a room that he is poorly suited to the role.
The reason this isn't a one or two star review is that the food was actually deadly. Really delicious stuff! The service was also deadly and our waitress was fantastic! The wine list was well priced and interesting, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful. I just wouldn't go again and that's down to our experience with the maitre d' unfortunately.

We knew we would probably be locked down from midnight tonight so we were delighted to still be able to have her a celebration for her.
I did not mention when booking it was her birthday But the staff especially Alexandra were so attentive while chatting to us that they realised it was a celebration for her.
She went above and beyond for us, was so warm and efficient and just well nice.
The food was fabulous the wine which was recommended by Alexandra was lovely.
The cocktails tasty and not to sweet.
They brought my friend a cake with a candle without being asked.

When I cut the chicken it was a little pink the server was very nice and took it back.my husband and two sons had pizza which they said was gorgeous. I eventually got my chicken back minus the potato i didnt ask for it back as the lads where finished there meal.i think it was just a litte glitch with the chicken I've eaten here before and it was lovely i will return again as I belive with covid businesses need our support

On arrival we had booked a table for 8 but we were given a table for 6. They immediately changed it around to an 8 table. The waitress was lovely and was happy to help with recommendations. Everything she suggested was really tasty and had no faults there at all.
The atmosphere wasn't very welcoming as it was a very small entrance. Bit they do have may layers once in the place.
Although had some slight faults overall the experience was amazing and I would go there again.

The only issues I had is that the place is crowded and hard to get around (which seems like the norm for most places worth visiting in Dublin) and depending on where you are sitting, it can be very hot. Overall a great dinner experience in a cozy environment.

D. H.Pretty good food but the prices were high. They do have a gluten free menu, and as someone with celiac disease that means a lot to me. I went for lunch with my friend and we had a salad and two pasta dishes. Good food, but we paid what I would consider medium high dinner prices for la quick lunch and the food wasn't outstanding. I'd save it for a date night or special occasion. However, it's in a great location and I could have liked it more at a different time or occasion.

The staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered, and go out of their way to please - service is first class, quick and efficient. I have dined at Toscana on a few occasions and have found all food to be consistently of the highest quality, beautifully presented and very tasty.

Lunch menu very good value at 14.95 for 2 courses or they have an alternative for 16.50. I had the suppli and lasagna and beautiful fresh cooked chips ( which were extra ) 3 of us had a lunch here all had 2 courses a portion of chips 3 diet Coke's 2 glasses of wine and it cost 72.25 which we thought was good value for what we had. Definitely be back again soon excellent place to eat if you are going to a show in the Olympia or a night out on the town. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful well decorated clean Italian eatery.

N. L.I went here with a work group, and we had the Christmas set lunch. I can NOT say enough good things about my meal here. It was a 3 course meal, and every course was simply delightful. I had the suppli for appetizer, which were nice and crunchy, full of cheese, and laid atop a bed of some sauce (I don't know what it was) that completed the experience nicely. My main was tagliatelle con pollo e funghi, and it is no exaggeration to say that it was the best pasta dish I have had in Dublin. The dish was so plentiful I could not finish it, though I assure you my palate wanted me to! I had a classic tiramisu for dessert, and, if I'm honest, it was the least amazing part of the experience, but that's not to say it wasn't delicious. It was great, but when a bonfire is held next to the sun, it gets a bit lost. I will DEFINITELY be going here again. But I will check for a kids menu first, because it didn't really look like a great place for the whole family. Need to research that, first.

Well, we were there for New Years and it was gorgeous. Our food was fabulous and the desserts were heaven. I had the panna cotta for dessert and man..... it was an angel melting on my tongue it was so perfect.

K. G.Great place, delicious ravioli and gnocchi. Only 3 stars since the house wine we were served had clearly gone bad, you can see thick lumps at the bottom. When I informed the staff, they didn't replace the wine and just refunded one glass of the 2 we had gotten. I was seriously worried about getting sick but luckily had no such issues.

B. L.I stopped by Toscana on my first night in Dublin based on a recommendation from the owner of my Airbnb. I can not express how happy I was with the experience. First, the staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Second, the food was great! I started off with an order of Calamari Fritti as an appetizer. It was lightly fried and perfectly cooked, very flavorful. Then for dinner I ordered Linguine Di Pesce. The seafood was very delicious and the pasta was of extremely high quality as well. Finally, as should be the case with any self respecting establishment in Ireland, the Guinness I ordered to accompany my meal was perfect! I will highly recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back next time I am in town.

I. P.I've been eating at Toscana in Dame street since I was old enough to bring a girl to dinner, and it has always remained one of my favourite restaurants. There are very few restaurants in Dublin that compete with it for sheer flavour. If you like creamy dishes then I especially reccomend you sample the Taglitelle a la Toscana, it is pretty much my favourite dish, the same goes for the Suppli starter. One of the great things about Toscana is their affordable Early Bird and Lunch Menus. While still not the cheapest option out there, you definitely get quality food when you dine there.
