Wow! This is something else. Immersive dining experience, yet casual and elegant. A night full of surprises. Will be coming back to Dublin for this gem. Note: quite hard to get a reservation, so book in advance!

What an Experience! I was welcomed in this hidden gem by a wonderful unicorn. Smells of seared venison burger were already coming out of the kitchen where the friendly chef was finishing my bun with home made BBQ sauce. A juicy feast. Halfway through the burger the host recommended that I'd pour the royal amount of meat juice which had dripped out back on the remainder of the burger. Boy, am I happy I complied. When visiting Dublin this is an absolute must. Make sure you call ahead though cause this place is popular!

During St. Patrick's Day, the Urban Oyster hosted an amazing night for me and 8 friends. The great Belgian beer selection made us feel right at home and the 4 course set menu was delicious and filling - the chef's portions almost broke the table! What a night! Tip: Book well in advance.

It really does live up to the hype. Brilliant in every detail. Attentive service, world class food and unparalleled atmosphere.
It's really the people that make this place great. The fat chef in the kitchen, the bearder hipster bartender and the funny waitress with her turtles
make this is a must do in Dublin. Don't miss this hidden gem.

The Urban Oyster experience absolutely blew my mind! The passion for world class food, the atmosphere, the wonderful crew, everything was just perfect! Off-the-menu tip: the topped pork belly-buttons. Without a doubt the place to be in Dublin!

SO this is the best restaurant in Dublin: Urban Oyster House, in Joshua Lane, a jewel amid the zirconia.
I make the argument unreservedly. I have eaten in restaurants five or more nights a week for the last two years, always in search of the best and most delectable, the most interesting and important. And I have come back again and again to Urban Oyster House to find it.
Under the command of Chef Thomas, Urban Oyster House has matured. Its synthesis of culinary art and exquisite service is now complete. It represents the ideal of an Irish high-culture luxury restaurant.
The appetizer is not food so much as a poem about creaminess, a meditation on brine, a sculpture about the delicious. It is a complete introduction to the restaurant and its pleasures.
Such excitements have a real effect on who ought to go to Urban Oyster House and why. The restaurant is not a place to book for a business meal. Nor is it a restaurant for those who do not eat well together. A meal at Urban Oyster House can stretch to four to five hours — a long time to sit with anyone, even a client with whom you are trying to close a deal. The restaurant more handsomely rewards the companionship of those who love one another as much as they do pleasure and indulgence.
For such people, Urban Oyster House exists.

Tried the occasional chefs special sausages trio which were actually the best ones I ever ate a restaurant. Every sausage was a one of a kind experience made with experimental though extremely delicious ingredients such as Oriental spices, fennel, blue cheese and a lot of secrets . Definitely worth a visit when you're in to meat !

What an incredible dining experience! Even Monday night felt like a celebration! The crab claws were to die for and momma's chicken soup was beyond words. I'll definitely be back for the food and the service. It was a personal and delicious evening.

We had a very comfortable stay, enthousiastic Dutch owner that is very happy to show you around the numerous highlights of Dublin. Can also arrange some VIP tickets for the Viking Tour on demand.
Don't expect a fancy breakfast but ask him about his favorite Dutch liquor called Old Bokma which he serves a little to often.

“Still over-the-top magnificent”, Thomas Donker''s Dutch – New Irish “milestone” in the chic Dawson Alley offers an “incomparable” chance to savor an “exquisite” six-course tasting menu along with “superbly presented” service, “ultra plush decor” and “breathtaking” park views. While the 200 Euro set price “will get your attention” the lounge provides “excellent” à la carte small plates at less astronomical rates. Highly Recommended – Not to be missed on your next Dublin dining experience.

We have been searching Dublin for the perfect Oysters ... Some were too small, or too salty, or too gritty, or too much soaked in brine, but the oysters at Urban Oyster House were life affirmingly delicious. My wife was moved to tears. I recalled the birth of our first child, but comparisons are meaningless in the face of such exquisite tastes and sensations. An unforgettable experience. Thank you . We will be back, and will recommend to everyone. PS, I hope the maitre de has recovered from his unfortunate bout of shingles.

Eating is a necessity but cooking is an art and the Urban Oyster House knows how to rock it. Five stars for the amazing evening!

A modest exterior gives way to one of the tastiest and trendy dinner spots in town. Excellent excellent personal service and the sirloin was great.
