M. C. T.Very nice restaurant, the best vegan meal what I ever had in Ireland until now. The staff was friendly. The mix of the flavours was amazing! I had a vegan balls with tomato sauce and quinoa, the sauce had some secret ingredient. I really recommend.

I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and it came with a ridiculous amount of chips which is exactly what you want when ur out for a treat on your holiday. M. J.Tasty Station, first off, the cute name really drew us in. The service and meal we had also was just as fun and pleasant. The cozy atmosphere with views overlooking the ocean was a comfortable place to rest after a long drive, and the friendly staff made us feel at home. For lunch, we had some of the sandwiches which were light, but still hit the spot. My sandwich was "tasty" and the fries were out of this world. The prices were incredibly reasonable too. So definitely stop here for a bite to eat.

M. C.Right next to the water this local place has a great selection of dishes. We had a typical fish and chips that was excellent, not overly battered and very fresh fish of the day plus a spicy prawn dish which was original and really good, a nice change from a lot of standard pub food. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are perfect, plus excellent service as well. The place is small so either go early or make a reservation even off season it gets full. The beer selection was the only disappointment but it seems to be common in Lahinch with most places having Guinness, Heineken and some lame American beers, rather than some more local choices.

The burger had the biggest patty I've ever had....it was quite huge. And juicy and tender, as well.
The pizzas were REALLY tasty.... very yummy sauce and crust.

Their shrimp dish (sweet chili and garlic sauce or something??) was DELISH...
Caramel latte cheesecake was perfect: not too rich, yet perfectly flavorful
Also: every dish was beautifully arranged. The chef really made everything both tasting and looking nice. I'm not one to notice/ care about such things, but even I appreciated it.
The staff members were all kind and in good spirits. One of the owners, a beautiful Polish lady, took care of and made conversation with each table.
What else.....
Parking was easy: there were tons of places on the curved street.
Not great for big groups: tables of 2-6 were most prominent... It's a small place so they just can't hold an infinite amount of people.
Not sure when I'll be able to go back, but we really loved this place and highly recommend it.

The garlic bread that comes with the salmon roulade starter was fairly unimpressive, like something you'd get with a Dominos pizza order. I'd also suggest serving mayonnaise in a small ramekin, like the way the ketchup is, and not sachets which are impossible to open and taste woeful.
The fish and chips were really good. The wings were good too. A very nice pint of Guinness also. Overall it's a grand spot with a menu that's pretty much like any pub grub menu.

A. W. -. J. W.After two months in the Lahinch area, I found the friendly owners and various staff members at the Tasty Station to be some of the nicest in town. They offer great food and a great variety; including some unique Polish gems.
Besides the great food, it's also a great spot to get the afternoon sunshine, have a beer or coffee and watch the surf in a friendly atmosphere. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye guys, but will be back to say hello and have a pot of tea and meal if ever I return. Many many thanks for all the smiles, and I wish you all the best :-)

B. G.(Translated) Lahinch is not exactly the place where I otherwise would soon set up my tent, but it was the nicest B & B that could serve as a base for a visit to the nearby Cliffs of Moher. The village is a somewhat typical Irish seaside resort, with culinary especially a classic Irish cuisine. And then it takes a while to find the best location in that range.
Tasty Station Restaurant is our preference that first evening. And what turns up. The name of the case effectively covers the load. The restaurant is indeed very traditional in terms of range, but it perfectly fulfills that classic approach. And you are therefore effectively served tasty dishes. More than good enough to visit them a second time later that week.

Lahinch is niet direct de plaats waar ik anders snel mijn tent zou opzetten, maar het had wel de leukste B&B die als uitvalsbasis voor een een bezoekje aan de nabijgelegen Cliffs of Moher kon dienen. Het dorp is een wat typische Iers badplaats, met culinair vooral een klassieke Iers keuken. En dan wordt het dus even zoeken om in dat aanbod de leukste locatie te vinden.
Tasty Station Restaurant krijgt die eerste avond onze voorkeur. En wat blijkt terecht. De naam van de zaak dekt effectief de lading. Het restaurant is weliswaar erg traditioneel qua aanbod, maar vult die klassieke aanpak wel perfect in. En je wordt dus ook effectief lekkere gerechten voorgeschoteld. Meer dan goed genoeg om later die week hen nog een tweede keer te bezoeken.

The portion size was very good. The remoulade served was homemade. Price and performance in our eyes appropriate. However, the dining room is not as nice as it appears from the outside. Because the restaurant was very well attended and the tables are quite narrow, we did not find a cozy atmosphere. Everything was very restless. Service staff or guests were always passing very close to the table.

Wir bestellten eine Fischvorspeise und Fish&Chips. Beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Der panierte Fisch war von guter Qualität und ordentlich ausgebacken. Die Portionsgröße war sehr gut. Die dazu gereichte Remoulade war selbst gemacht. Preis und Leistung in unseren Augen angemessen. Allerdings ist der Gastraum nicht so schön, wie es von aussen erscheint. Weil das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war und die Tische recht eng gestellt sind, kam für uns keine gemütliche Atmosphäre auf. Da alles recht unruhig wirkte. Ständig liefen Service-Kräfte oder Gäste sehr nah am Tisch vorbei.
