The Old Deanery is a spectacular venue. We organised a hen party for a close friend. The venue is totally private with many communal areas like the wine cellar, the outdoor bar, the courtyard and the gardens. Our hens were constantly surprised by the vast surroundings. With the help of Bryanna (the owner), we organised pottery making and dinner with third party vendors which made the day even more special. The cottages themselves were very spacious with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms with absolutely everything you could think you'd need! Would highly recommend!

I would highly recommend the Old Deanery Cottages to anyone looking for a fun and unique stay for all ages. The cottages are beautiful and fully equipped with useful amenities. I had a memorable time and couldn't think of a better location to host a family event. Bryanna is an excellent host and very accommodating. I would give more stars if I could! I will definitely be returning.

We had a family weekend in The Old Deanery Ferns recently. I was very happy with the whole experience as were each and every one of our party! There was a wide range of age groups in our party 😊 From the moment the first of our party arrived until the last Bryanna was there to welcome us and show us around the houses and grounds. The accommodation was well appointed , quirky and absolutely spotless. Although the weather was a mixed bag it did not dampen our spirits or spoil the celebrations. The small outside bar is a great spot for an outdoor drink with it’s large table and overhead covering even in the torrential rain!! In conclusion, I would have no hesitation in recommending this venue to family and friends.

I stayed here recently as part of a larger party and it was an excellent, unique & charming venue. The cottages are homely, warm, well equipped with everything needed and each slightly different to the last which makes them distinct from each other. Bryanna was very welcoming and helpful with any questions about the local area and beaches etc. The grounds are beautiful and there is a lovely outdoor wooden bar area which is ideal if you are in a large group as I was. I would thoroughly recommend to all. Beautiful and memorable.
