B. C.Very nice atmosphere. I had the bruschetta al pomodoro and the pizza siciliana. I think the tomatoes on the bruschetta where a bit large so I didn't end up eating them all. The pizza was tasty but could have been a bit crisper. The service was fast and the waiters where nice. A lot of Italian people working there which was nice and added to the overall atmosphere.
V. E. C.After lockdown and so many restrictions(we were here in July), Da Roberta’s was the first restaurant we visited. The Italian cuisine well executed by the chefs made us to remember our good days from Italy, from Amalfi coast. If you want to find some mistakes in the preparation … it is impossible. All the food is outstanding: pizza, tagliatelle pasta, fish, or chocolate mousse. This restaurant should be on the “MUST” visit list of everybody.

The adults get free wine at the beginning and the people are very nice. However, there should be a reservation because it's very busy. I would definitely go again. Definitely. 5 stars, a given. Standard has really been refined in the past few years and service has become fantastic and more personalised. D. M.I went for dinner yesterday to celebrate my friends birthday and we had such an incredible experience. We all left feeling very happy after our time in Da Roberta's. The food was delicious (I had the Linguine dello Chef), the waiter recommended a red wine from Sicily, which was very good. I told them it was my friend's birthday, so they put a candle on her dessert and sang happy birthday to her, on top of that they gifted her a bottle of Prosecco. Simply outstanding service. A big thanks to Gasper and all the staff for their warm service.

One of the staff members that served us - Joseph was lovely and friendly and so polite. We ate every bite of our starter, main and dessert. Will definitely be going back. Great to see them doing well - very well deserved!!!

I loved that they dressed the outside and the inside of the restaurant for Halloween as it looks spooky and it's fun to look at from the street. They also cater for you if you are celiac or vegetarian. All food is made fresh to order. Everything is accessible if you are a wheelchair user and they will be happy to make your visit enjoyable. We have eaten there numerous of times and look forward to going back again.

K. C.We stumbled onto Da Roberta’s quite by accident, but it turned out to be one of our favorite meals in Dublin and a benchmark by which I judge wood fired pizza, one of my favorite comfort foods. We received a warm welcome as soon as we walked in and were promptly seated with just the right amount of small talk as to be friendly but not delay the purpose of our visit. The staff were well informed and service was quick. Two of us split a pizza and the panna cotta, both of which were mouthwateringly delightful. The crust was crisp, sauce was fresh, pepperoni was spicy, cheese perfectly melted, and the onions and olives tied it all together perfectly—even for my companion who doesn’t particularly like olives. Our dessert was a smooth, sweet custard balanced out by a slightly tart berry sauce which was as pleasing to the eye as it was the palate. Da Roberta’s was clean, comfortable, affordable, and delicious. It’s well worth your time and money.

J.I chose the cod and chips from Roberta's take away. The chips were proper chipper chips, but the fish was really dry and over cooked. I was really disappointed by this. The chips portion size is enough for 2 adults. You get a tub of peas and a sachet of tartar sauce included. For €10 it feeds 2 adults but again the fish was such a disappointment.

From the time you walk in the door and sit down you are already being waited on before you can get comfortable in your chair. Our water pitcher was replaced before it was even empty. The bread at this place might be the best bread I've had in Ireland thus far. Great place to visit, enjoy and share the experience of being in this restaurant.

E. O.Went for dinner yesterday evening with my family during our staycation. We were greeted first by friendly staff offering us a complimentary prosecco which was a nice start to a fabulous evening. Our main waiter was Jasper and he was extremely helpful and friendly. I had garlic bread to start with which was superb, followed by their “Sofia” pizza consisting of Pepperoni, Chicken and ham which made me feel like I was truly in Italy. To finish the meal I wanted to go for the tiramisu but sadly was so popular it was all gone so instead had the selection of ice cream which was a lovely sweet treat to end a beautiful meal. Overall the food, service and experience was top class.

Only negative I could give was the Irish weather as we had to eat outside and it was a little cold. We would have stayed for desserts/coffee but the kids were cold. Got greeted with lovely complimentary prosecco. We are regular visitors to Italy and this meal was up there with what we get in Italy. We were served by the lovely Jasper who was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely return

All the staff were very kind and helpful, and the actual restaurant itself definitely gave a taste of Italy. Overall, definitely would recommend going, amazing experience.

M. R.Booked Da Roberta for yesterday evening (23/7) and I highly recommend this restaurant. Very friendly staff and food is of a very top standard. We went as a family of 4. ( 2 adults and 2 teenagers) I was torn between two main courses and the waiter explained which one I should go for. So glad I did it was by far the nicest pasta dish I have ever had. Everything was so nice, starters, pizzas and my husbands pasta dish. We weren't able for dessert unfortunately as we were so full. When we are back in Salthill this restaurant will be revisited. Also during these strange times all staff had masks/visors and hand sanitiser was available. Restaurant was very clean. Thanks to all and keep up the great work. The Reilly family.

I went with my 4 friends and one of them is extremely picky. Yet he loved everything on the menu. So did everyone. There's burgers, pizza, pasta, chicken and lots more!!! According to my parents the wine is great! They even bought 2 house whites😂 it's hard to explain, but once you go in and enjoy the wonderful food and the great staff. It's hard to leave xD
t.Accommodated a decent crowd of us, service pretty good, and restaurant is deceptive from outside, much bigger than it looks. Large menu and all tasted good. Family all delighted. However, expect pizza and pasta, no frills Italian with lasagne, carbonara, meatballs etc... Not quite Naples or Milan, and expensive enough. Extra star as family really liked it.

We luckily had made a reservation so were seated promptly, but the long queue of walk ins suggested we were going to be in for a treat. The starters were beautifully presented, large portioned and extremely tasty. There was just the right amount of time before our mains were served. One of the best pizzas I've ever had! The service was exceptional, very attentive waiters without being in your face. The price was very reasonable and worth every penny for the wonderful experience. Will be going back the next time I'm in Galway

The waiting staff were so careful and all wore masks! There was loads of social distancing even with 2 buggies at our table. We even got warm milk and hot water to make bottles, so accommodating! Now onto the food! Everything was quick and very tasty! I had the duck spring rolls to start, and 6 came out! Delira! Then had the fioratina pizza which was yummy and came with individual garlic dip! Peroni on draughts and creme brulee for dessert... Faultless and didn't rush us out the door even with a queue at all times! Highly recommend... Ps we came back next day just to use baby changing facilities when we were out for our walk and they were so nice about it!
M. C. A.Wow.. this restaurant is absolutely amazing. It is one of the best Italian places in Galway. It feels authentic when you step in, with a very lovely atmosphere. It is child friendly, and also suitable for intimate group gatherings or dates. It is an all rounder! If there is a wait time, they seated me at a bar with complimentary prosecco, which is absolutely beautiful. The food itself is absolutely delicious, and you'll find yourself satisfied from even a plate of pasta. The portions are nice and even. The desserts are delicious too, with kid friendly options! This place is fairly pricy, but the price is definitely worth it.

S.Was here tonight, Valentine's night, it was so busy, we did not have any reservation, and we got a table within 10 minutes. the service was great, i had a pizza and salad and it was delicious, i ate it all bar one slice of pizza and the olives, which my partner ate,, i didn't think i would be able to eat even half of the pizza being 8 months pregnant but i did. he had the steak and his plate was cleared.

A. A.We smelled garlic bread walking by and it pulled us in. Service was good but not great. The real winner was the absolutely incredible food. We ordered a pizza, seafood linguini, and rigatoni alla boscaiola as well as appetizer of the garlic bread which came out as a sort of garlic pizza (still fine but not what we expected). The food was well prepared and super tasty. The rigatoni was especially tasty. Overall a great experience and a place we will come back to next time we are in Galway.

Staff are extremely helpful, and chef is more than happy to tweak the menu to suit. Very child friendly and family orientated. If you are in the city, head to Salthill and try this place for yourself. You won't be disappointed....

C.Its always a good sign in a restaurant if there is a line of people waiting to be seated in a jam packed large area..... and people don't seem to mind the wait here.... and this is the reason........ If love seriously fresh tasty devine food, you've got to eat here. Staff are very accommodating, friendly & can't do enough to make your dining experience a real treat.
It's the only restaurant in Galway that I have gone back to over & over again down through the years.
Menu offers a wide selection of Italian food, along with Steak, Seafood, Poultry & Game.... Risotto's are to die for. There is a great wine & beer list and a nice trendy little bar at the rear of there restaurant.
The restaurant is very family friendly, we have 4 kids ranging in ages 12 to 3 & it's also their favourite place to eat. They offer a great children's
It's extremely well priced and there is also a takeaway menu & delivery withing certain miles.
Manager is always about anytime of day and night, popping about the tables talking to customers and offering complimentary glass of Presecco on arrival.
I can't rate this place enough honestly. ..... if you love the taste of good Italian food, freshly cooked, better than what "The Mama" cooks, then call in or book in advance to reserve a table... you won't be disappointed.
m. g.Booked for 8.30 was 8.45 before we got our seat. Ordered 2 fillets of sea bass mussels tiger prawns with garlic ciabatta. I asked could I have mash potatoe instead of ciabatta as I can't eat garlic. It came anyway with portion of potatoes for €4 extra. All the fish was in shells which they could have said when you ordered and there was 1 fillet of sea bass and it had lots of bones in it. My partner had ordered salmon with roast vegetables and potatoes and didn't get any roast potatoes. Looked like they were too busy to give attention to detail.

Really tasty pizza with a nice texture to the base, couldn't fault it. In arrival there was a glass of prosecco and small plate of antipasti on the house, which I'd never had before, like popadoms at an Indian restaurant.
On the minus side, were given coloured vinegar when we asked for chili oil which didn't go well when sprinkled on the pizza.
On the lovable mad side, various members of staff did Elvis karaoke during the evening (did it well, too). I'd definitely return.

The wine by the glass had to be returned tho, it wasn't good (Sauvignon) at all, unfortunately.

The Caesar salad was the best I have ever had. The dressing, fantastic. Chicken, croutons, lettuce mix, all superb. The lasagna was great, came cooked and served in its own mini casserole dish. Don't let mini fool you, though, it was plenty big enough for tonight's dinner and tomorrow's lunch! My wife had the insalat appetizer and the Quattro fromaggio pizza--delish. Three kids, two with main meals and one off the kids menu. Total bill, 75 euros. Great meal, great value, would highly recommend. Make reservations though, because it is extremely popular!
